A romantic or heartfelt declaration of love on 14 February is nothing new, in fact we imagine there was no shortage of rose petals trailed through houses and hotel rooms last night.

However Blanco decided to be a little more inventive with his set-up for the Only Murders in the Building star.

Instead of the traditional rose petals Blanco opted to utilise the trusty nacho chip and created a trail of crisps which led to the bathroom, where Gomez would be greeted by a giant ‘I [heart] you’ message.

But don’t worry guys, as Blanco hadn’t just bought a couple bags of plain nacho chips and decided to call it a day, he’d made sure there was plenty of dip available as well.

And by plenty we mean a bathtub filled to the brim with bright yellow nacho cheese sauce.

It’s definitely a cheesy way of saying I love you, we’ll give him that.

The grandiose take on the nachos and dip snack received plenty of attention from fans, with some people loving the gesture more than others.

“I love you both but that’s kinda gross,” one person commented, while a second noted: “Cheese goes bad in two hours, you didn’t think this one threw [sic] did you.”

Meanwhile others also shared their condolences for the unlucky soul tasked with scrubbing day old cheese sauce out of a bathtub.

“I feel bad for the person who has to clean or drain that all up,” a third person wrote, while a fourth added: “The house cleaner is about to have a DAY tomorrow.”

“Thank God your [sic] rich because if you had to clean that up you’d lose your mind,” a fifth penned.

Fortunately for Blanco, not everybody found unique gesture ‘gross’ or ‘disgusting’, with fans of the ‘Lose You to Love Me’ singer just happy to see that she was in love.

“You guys are so cheesy I love it,” penned one fan, while Access Hollywood said the couple had the ‘cutest relation-chip’.

“Thank you for treating her the way she deserves KING,” another added.

As long as Gomez enjoyed the unique gesture, that’s all that matters.

The popular talk show’s sofa had Anderson, Graham, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sean Hayes and Ross Kemp perching their posteriors upon it, and viewers picked out an interaction between Stephen Graham and Pamela Anderson, which was very friendly.

In case you didn’t know, Graham is starring as a boxer in upcoming Disney+ series A Thousand Blows, and has undergone an impressive physical transformation to play the role of punishing pugilist Sugar Goodson.

He’s certainly built up a physique worthy of a champion boxer, and Pamela Anderson seemed to have noticed his hard work had paid off.

Flattered though he seemed to be, the A Thousand Blows star pointed towards his wedding right and let Anderson down gently.

Stephen Graham has been married to fellow actor Hannah Walters since 2008, and they largely like to keep their relationship to themselves.

He did recently tell The Times a bit about married life, saying: “We have ups and downs, of course. Luckily, though, the relationship we both have with our children is beautiful – but it takes work.”

They first met while they were training to be actors together, and they have worked with each other on a number of projects.

Meanwhile, The Graham Norton Show viewers were rather impressed by the interactions they saw between Graham and Anderson, as they wanted to know what was going on in that moment between them.

One viewer said that Stephen Graham was ‘hilarious’ for the way he played it off, while many others said that Pamela Anderson had been an ‘absolute delight’ on the sofa.

Someone else said that Graham ‘understandably seems totally star struck with Pamela Anderson’, and there was a lot of love for the actor from the viewers.

As for The Graham Norton Show, viewers will need to be ready for a couple of weeks when it won’t be Graham hosting the whole shebang.

That is exactly what is happening to Netflix’s newest thriller TV series, called Cassandra, and the comparisons to Dark are obvious.

The series is a German-made thriller TV Show which has reactions such as ‘I can’t stop watching it’ and ‘creepy, suspenseful, and brilliant’.

If I’d told you it was Dark you’d likely have believed me, but it’s actually Cassandra.

The AI helper that comes with the home wakes up once they’ve moved in and creepiness ensues.

This led to one viewer tweeting: “Netflix should invest more in German shows… we had the masterpiece DARK… then 1899 from the same writers, now Cassandra…”

One viewer said of the show: “Strange, disturbing, and campy af, but every time I go to turn it off, I can’t do it. Please tell me someone else has seen this.”

Another said: “Cassandra on Netflix is definitely a 10/10 I’ve been hooked since the beginning #cassandranetflix”.

A third fan said: “that cassandra tv series on netflix was a wild ride.”

The show currently sits at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Kelcie Mattson said in their 8/10 review for Collider: “Fusing elements of sci-fi, horror, psychological thriller, and women-focused family dramas of decades past, Cassandra is quieter than the company’s films but still a sleek, ambitious limited series with plenty of meat on its bones…”

The show’s success has landed it a spot in the streamer’s top ten.

It’s part of the latest tourism crackdown following years of unruly behaviour in the location loved by those with a UK passport.

The issue has been with what sun-seekers are wearing – or rather, not – being at the forefront of the minds of people who call these locations their home, as oppose to the vacation time spent there by Brits.

And, as attention turns to booking somewhere to go abroad for the summer season, it could be a big deal if you indeed decide to head to this stunning location.

Another rule in Benidorm could see you face a €150 fine for building a simple sandcastle.

There’s also a swimming ban in place across the city loved by Brits, with a £1,000 fine for those violating the specific rules in place.

Now, as we look to 2025, all eyes are on Spain’s neighbour, Portugal.

Under new laws being discussed by lawmakers in the south of the country, attention has turned to the party hotspot of Albufeira.

Albufeira crackdown and new fines

Though a stunning destination by day – with a gorgeous white-washed old town and golden beaches – it can turn pretty mad when the sun goes down, with the Old Town and The Strip overrun by mostly young tourists looking to get in a fair few drinks after relaxing in the day’s sunshine.

As a result, the summer crowd that flock to Albufeira should be wary of putting a foot wrong, with police given the power to issue new fines to those who bare what mother nature gave them or go as far as doing sexual acts in public.

Fines of up to £1,500 are on the cards for this, with them also on the cards for those who are semi-nude.

We’re talking about swimming garments outside of areas designated for them, such as a beach or a hotel’s pool area.

What does the new law say?

Under one segment of new legislation dubbed ‘prohibitions’, it says: “To remain or circulate in a state of partial nudity, understood, for the purposes of this Code, as a person who partially exposes their body, using any type of clothing or accessory, namely, swimwear – bikini, trikini, swimsuit and similar, shorts and underwear.”

So if you’re caught in a bikini or just your swim trunks walking through the Old Town, you risk a big cash fine.

£250 fines are also on the way for those caught drinking on the streets outside of designated areas attached to bars, restaurants, and clubs.

Why is it being introduced?

Local officials in the town have said the new code of conduct that has been put together is to ‘create better conditions for the development of the municipality, preserving Albufeira as a multicultural, family-friendly, and safe destination that values its heritage and identity’.

In a statement, town mayor Jose Carlos Rolo said: “It is urgent to establish measures that effectively address the adoption of abusive behaviours, particularly by those who seek the municipality of Albufeira as a tourist destination.”

Mayor Rolo added: “We want to focus also on diversifying the offer, in order to contribute to reducing seasonality but also to attract new tourist markets from other nationalities.”

Having been Down Under myself (something I will mention at every opportunity in true Millennial style), I can vouch for just how stunning its beaches are. But there is a danger to many of them.

Riptides are among the most common reasons not to venture into the water, with strong currents causing countless drownings over the years.

Sharks are also one to watch out for alongside their tiny, painful friends in the form of a box jellyfish which can ‘kill in minutes’.

Not everywhere has these dangers, and you’ll see people relaxing and playing in the water as a result. But even without them, there is a hidden danger you might not be aware of.

Hidden Australian beach danger revealed

Taking to TikTok through his account @lil_vb_, one Aussie called Matt showed off the danger you might not even be able to spot at first glance.

In a video captioned about the lifeguard having to ‘warn people to get out the water’, Matt explains: “How come there are all of these people yet there’s like nobody swimming in the ocean.

“Well let me show you.”

Moving the camera onto the beach itself, he follows what looks like a long piece of string or seaweed.

Well, it was neither. And the reality is lot more terrifying.

“This is genuinely the most bluebottles I’ve seen on any beach. Like, ever,” Matt says.

What is a ‘bluebottle’?

You might know them by another name.

Called bluebottles, they are also known as the Portuguese man o’ war or the Pacific man o’ war.

Not jellyfish, they are instead close relation called a siphonophore.

And given the relation, that long string that Matt caught on the camera was in fact the tentacles of the animal. And they carry a nasty punch.

Strong enough to paralyse fish and other smaller prey, they won’t have the impact on a person but they will be painful – and them some.

Even dead bluebottles, or severed tentacles, carry a nasty punch for hours after dying or being separated.

In some cases among people, there have been reports of cardiac distress and a shortness of breath. Extreme cases have caused death.

“You want to know what the worst part of it is? The water is absolutely beautiful,” Matt adds.

“But you never know what could be underneath.”

He then cuts to one of the bluebottles being washed up on the beach ‘literally two minutes later’ as he walks along the shore.

Many in the comment section had no idea what a bluebottle was, with one posting: “Y’all not knowing what a bluebottle is is actually insane to me.”

Another wrote about their experience of being stung by a bluebottle, saying they still had a scar to this day. It’s a nope from us.

Parent company Take-Two confirmed last week that GTA 6 will still be going to market in the autumn of 2025, with gamers everywhere breathed a sigh of relief at the lack of a delay to 2026.

And with all eyes now on September, October, or November, those preparing to buy the game reckon the window of opportunity to release it has narrowed down significantly, with September out of the question.

It is because Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed to IGN that the business will not act in a way that brings about ‘cannibalization’. This is a marketing strategy whereby one sales of one product released by a company are directly impacted by the same company releasing another new product to the market.

In this case, we’re talking about Borderlands 4, developed by Take-Two subsidiary Gearbox Software and published by fellow subsidiary 2K.

For Take-Two, the business obviously has a big, soft spot for GTA and Rockstar. But it is by no means its only slice of the gaming pie, with Zelnick saying the business will ‘respect the consumer’s need to spend a lot of time playing these hit games before they go on to the next’.

In other words, with Borderlands 4 confirmed for a 23 September release date on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, don’t expect GTA beforehand or even in the weeks after. Many fans believe it could see the GTA 6 release pushed as far back as the start of December; a prime time spot for the festive market.

‘We will plan the releases’

“I think we will plan the releases so as not to have that be a problem,” Zelnick said on cannibalization worries.

“And what we found is when you’re giving consumers hits, they tend to be interested in pursuing other hits. In other words, I’ve said this many times, even when the hits aren’t ours, they’re a good thing for the industry.

“In this case, we hope that the hits will largely be ours. So we feel really good about it and I think that we will time our releases so as to respect the consumer’s need to spend a lot of time playing these hit games before they go on to the next.”

Mapping the release

Over on Reddit, one fan ‘mapped out’ the potential release date. Sharing it in the GTA6 subreddit, they said: “Now that we know Borderlands 4 is releasing on September 23rd, I’m confident that Rockstar will release GTA 6 anywhere from the 17th of October to the 15th of November.

“The reason is because this is before the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas). This release window is also far enough away from Borderlands 4 as it won’t be able to clash with that game’s release. As for the 16th to the 22nd of November, the game could still release during this time as it’s still before the holidays but I’m not as confident about it since it’s the literal week before.”

Responding, another said they thought the game could be released on either 18 November or 2 December, with it giving Rockstar enough time to ‘polish the game and get it ready for release’ if there is indeed a rush to get it completed in time for the public.

On 18 November, they added that it is the same week as Black Friday.

The asteroid was initially spotted and reported at the tail end of last year, while most of us were busy knocking back the bubbly and enjoying our Christmas dinners, and is currently hurtling away from us and out into the cold depths of outer space.

YR4 is believed to be no smaller than 40m but no bigger than 100m wide, about three times the size of the Chelyabinsk meteor, which landed in Russia back in 2013.

Aside from a rough estimate of size, scientists don’t know too much else about YR4. However, they’ve given their ‘best guess’ as to what the asteroid most likely looks like.

NASA has since released the visualisation via the ‘Eyes on Asteroids’ site to the public, revealing that YR4 probably looks very much like a grey space rock and not the 10 quintillion dollar asteroid which would make us all billionaires.

Sky News likened the asteroid’s size to that of an ‘apartment block’ and added that scientists currently predict that 22 December, 2032 would be the date of possible impact.

However, there’s no need to panic just yet, as NASA has given the rock a 2.3 percent (or one in 43) chance of hitting Earth.

This means there’s just shy of a 98 percent chance that everything is going to be just OK.

Scientists also have a rough prediction of the locations which YR4 could hit, should it strike our planet, with countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Sudan, Nigeria, Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador landing in the potential impact zone.

Does NASA have a protocol should an asteroid pose a risk of hitting Earth?

Thankfully, yes. The scientists at NASA are acutely aware of the dangers of an asteroid striking the planet and have a protocol in place.

“An asteroid impact is the only natural disaster that could be prevented,” NASA asteroid expert Dr Kelly Fast explained.

“NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office supports projects to discover asteroids and to calculate their orbits far into the future.”

Should all else fail, YR4 would likely collide with Earth at a speed of 17 kilometres per second (around 38,000 miles per hour), causing extensive ‘local’ damage to the region it hits but no That’s some good news at least.
