The late actor was best known for his work on Street Fighter, The Fast and the Furious New Girl, and Mangum P.I.

His tragic death was announced by his son Manoah, who took to Facebook to share a heartbreaking statement that was signed by the actor’s wife, other children, and grandchildren.

“With a heavy heart, my family and I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Our father Peter N. Tuiasosopo passed away this morning at 3:16AM,” the statement began.

“My dad lived an amazing life and in no way does his impact stop here. We will continue to live with him in spirit, and as saddened as we are, he is without a doubt in Heaven with his brothers, sisters, parents, daughter, and Jesus, and no longer in pain.”

“His strength, love, compassion, and kindness will forever be felt,” he said, concluding the post by thanking everyone for their thoughts and asking for “continued support through this tough and emotional time”.

Although a cause of death was not mentioned, the actor’s son told TMZ that Tuiasosopo had passed from heart complications in Phoenix, Arizona.

He also added that his father was a “trailblazer for Polynesian actors in Hollywood”.

Born in San Pedro, California in 1963, Tuiasosopo played football in college and signed the Los Angeles Rams replacement team for its 1987 season. He officially re-signed to the team in 1988, but he did not make any NFL appearances.

The late star transitioned into acting and landed his first film role in 1991 as Manumana, a member of the fictional Texas State football team in the sports comedy Necessary Roughness.

Two years later, he made his television debut in Danger Theatre as detective Al Hamoki, starring alongside Adam West.

His other film credits include playing Ed Tuttle in the 1998 film BASEketball, Willie Dumaine in 12 Rounds, as well as smaller parts in Batman & Robin, Charlie’s Angels, Austin Powers in Gold Member, and The Scorpion King.

The late actor’s later roles included Yoshi Nakamura in the Disney series Kickin’ It, as well as guest roles in hit shows such as NCIS, Magnum P.I, and a recurring role in the Zooey Deschanel-fronted sitcom New Girl as “Big Bob”.

His last credit was in the 2018 crime drama Mayans M.C.

Naya Rivera’s heartbreaking last words have been revealed prior to her drowning

The ex-husband of Naya Rivera, a star of the show Glee who died in a tragic drowning saving her son’s life, has revealed her final words.

Rivera died in July of 2020, drowning in Lake Piru, California. She was just 33 years old at the time of her death.

Her ex, Ryan Dorsey, spoke to People Magazine in a heartbreaking sit-down interview, the first since her death.

Their son, Josey, is now nine, but was only four years old at the time of her death.

Rivera was best known for her time on the show Glee, with several members of the cast reuniting at the lake, pictured holding hands.

The cast lived through the tragedy of her death being confirmed exactly seven years after the death of Cory Monteith, who overdosed while the show was still ongoing.

Dorsey spoke to People about the experience of Rivera’s death.

He recounted how their son was swimming off a boat she had taken out into the lake before realising it had begun to drift.

The incident report of her death reported that she drowned due to the exhaustion of getting him back to the boat.

Dorsey revealed her last words were said to her son shortly before going under, saying: “He said that the last thing she said was his name, and then she went under, and he didn’t see her anymore.

“It just rocks my world that he had to witness her last moments.”

He reports finding out the news from Rivera’s Mother’s husband, and almost falling on hearing it.

He added: “I drove 100-and-something the whole way with my four-way hazards on, chain-smoking cigarettes — and I don’t even smoke, really — and just crying.

“I just wanted to get to Josey.”

He claims he ‘doesn’t know what he would have done’ if they’d lost both his son Josey and his ex-wife and Josey’s mother Naya.

The four-year-old was found in the boat they had rented, drifting back to shore.

He went on to say: “When it happened, I just found myself shaking my head, like, ‘I can’t believe she’s gone’.

“It’s still so surreal every day.”

Following her death, Dorsey filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Ventura County, who rented the boat to Rivera.

It was filed by Dorsey on behalf of their son, with a settlement being agreed in 2022.

Amjad Khan, the family’s lawyer, said after the settlement: “Through this settlement, Josey will receive just compensation for having to endure the drowning of his beloved mother at Lake Piru.

“Though the tragic loss of Josey’s mother can never truly be overcome, we are very pleased that the monetary settlement will significantly assist Josey with his life beyond this tragedy.”

It was argued in the suit that her death was preventable, and that the boat rented did not have proper safety features and equipment.

According to court documents, there have been more than two dozen people in the last 65 years to die in the lake’s ‘deadly history.’

Kanye West’s online store selling just Swastika T-shirts is finally removed

Kanye West left fans disturbed this week after unveiling his new online store selling just one item – T-shirts with swastikas on them.

Ye, 47, who recently declared that he was a “racist” and a “nazi”, had aired a commercial in some markets during the Super Bowl, pointing fans to his website, Yeezy.com.

The 30-second commercial showed Ye filming a close-up of his face while lying in a dentist’s chair, telling the camera: “I spent, like, all the money for the commercial on these new teeth. So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.”

According to reports from the New York Times, the rapper then directed people to his online store, which sold just one item – a $20 white T-shirt with a back swastika on the front.

According to Variety, at the time the commercial aired on Sunday night, the store was selling a range of non-branded clothing, but changed it to the controversial T-shirt shortly afterward.

By Tuesday morning, the website appeared to have gone offline, being replaced with a message reading: “This store is unavailable.”

A spokesperson for Shopify, the online platform which processed the website’s orders, told the outlet that Kanye’s online store “did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify.”

Shopify President Harley Finkelstein told CNBC that the website’s owners “had an entire day” to prove they were not violating company policies, “which did not happen.”

He said on Tuesday: “The moment we realized this was not actually a real commerce practice, they weren’t actually engaging in authentic commerce, we pulled it down,” labelling the website “disappointing”.

According to reports, the T-shirt was labeled ‘HH-01’, with it being believed to stand for “Heil Hitler”.

Finkelstein told CNBC’s Sara Eisen: “I’m a proud Jewish entrepreneur. I’m a proud Jewish community member. You and I have talked about this in the past, that it’s a big part of my identity. So obviously I’m devastated by that.”

Kanye has expressed antisemitic views on numerous recent occasions, including on social media after his controversial appearance on the red carpet at the Grammys, where his wife, Bianca Censori, appeared wearing a sheer mesh dress underneath which she was completely naked.

The ‘Runaway’ performer took to X on February 7 to share a series of posts including a number of antisemitic tweets about Jewish people, and even about friends of his who are Jewish who he has apparently “never trusted”.

The once-revered rapper then went on to say that he “loves Hitler”, branding himself a Nazi.

Since then, Elon Musk also confirmed that people would no longer be able to see Kanye’s X (formerly Twitter) account.

As a result of his inflammatory posts and offensive slurs, X slapped a “sensitive content warning” on the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper’s account.

According to Sky News, the Campaign Against Antisemitism group condemned West’s posts in a statement, saying: “Once again, Ye has gone on an antisemitic rampage online. It couldn’t be any clearer that he is an unrepentant, proud antisemite.

“At a time of unprecedented antisemitism, there can be no mistaking this incitement for exactly what it is. We call on Elon Musk to remove him from X,” they added.

The 53-year-old X owner finally addressed the controversy after three days, revealing that Kanye’s account had been marked as “NSFW [not safe for work].”

“You should not be seeing that anymore,” the billionaire added.

Kanye had previously been banned from Twitter in 2022 after he posted a photo of a swastika merged with a Star of David.

How residents of English village where there is no crime, debt or homelessness get by with no pay cheques

Nobody owns anything, nobody owes anything, so how to they get by?

Nestled within East Sussex is a village of a few hundred people where there’s no debt, homelessness and pretty much no crime whatsoever.

It’s called Darvell and the village is a community of people called ‘Bruderhof’, a group of radical Christians who believe in community living.

This means that pretty much everything is shared and if someone needs something, it’s provided for, though members live modestly so they don’t require much in the way of goods.

According to their site, the Bruderhof community ‘provides each of us with necessities such as food, clothing, and housing, so there’s no need for money on a day-to-day basis’.

If someone does need some money, to take a trip for instance, then they’ll be given it and expected to give back what they didn’t spend when they get home.

All money earned by the Bruderhof goes to the community, so nobody gets to keep their personal pay (YouTube/This Morning)

While members do work to provide for the community ‘no one who lives on a Bruderhof is paid for their work: no wages, paychecks, stipends, or allowances’.

Even certain members who might live away from the community in a city could have a job but ‘all wages are donated to the church community’.

In this way, the Bruderhof believe everyone is ‘on the same footing’.

The communities do make money through various business ventures, but all the earnings go to the church and are used to pay for something called ‘community of goods’.

According to the Bruderhof’s website, across their villages ‘no one member, or any one Bruderhof location, is richer or poorer than any other’.

All money goes into something called 'community of goods'. (YouTube/BBC)

All money goes into something called ‘community of goods’. (YouTube/BBC)

As for this ‘community of goods’, that’s something they’ve set up which pays for the needs of each community and its members.

“Community of goods, also known as the common purse, simply means we share everything together,” they said of the way they do things.

“None of us owns any property in our name, and none of us receives a paycheck, stipend, or allowance. Everything belongs to the collective membership.”

As such, members don’t own the houses they live in, the clothes they wear or the shoes they walk around in, they don’t have money or build savings as that all goes into the public pot to be spent on providing essential goods.

They added: “This idea is not ours; this is how the first Christians lived, as described in Acts 2.”

If a community ever has more money than it needs then they’ll spend the surplus on ‘our own outreach projects or to support other charitable missions’.

The pilot who was sadly killed in a plane crash involving Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil’s jet has been named.

On Monday, Scottsdale Airport was forced to close after a Learjet 35A veered off the runway upon landing and collided with a stationary Gulfstream 200 business jet, killing one person and injuring three others.

The Learjet, which had been completing a private flight from Austin, Texas, landed at 2:39PM local time before crashing into the parked aircraft minutes later.

Officials confirmed that the jet is owned by Neil, though he was not aboard at the time.

The Learjet carried four people – two pilots and two passengers – when it crashed.

Neil’s girlfriend, Rain Andreani, 43, and her friend were among the passengers. According to the New York Post, Andreani suffered five broken ribs in the accident.

Two dogs belonging to the female passengers were also on board but survived the crash.

One of the Learjet’s pilots was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other pilot, along with Andreani and her friend, was taken to a local hospital. The sole occupant of the Gulfstream jet was uninjured.

The City of Scottsdale released a statement attributing the crash to a landing gear failure:

“The accident occurred at 2:39PM when a Learjet 35A, arriving from Austin, veered off the runway and struck a parked Gulfstream 200.”

“According to initial reports, the Learjet’s left main landing gear failed upon landing, leading to the collision.”

Emergency personnel from Scottsdale Fire Station 609 arrived at the scene within one minute of the crash.

The statement further confirmed: “One person was pronounced dead, while three others sustained injuries and were transported to Valley hospitals for treatment. Another individual refused medical treatment.”

The pilot who sadly died has been identified as 78-year-old Marine veteran Joie Vitosky.

Vitosky’s daughter, Jana Schertzer, expressed admiration for her father’s skill and composure in the moments leading up to the crash.

“I honestly, wholeheartedly believe that the reason those other passengers are alive – it’s because of how he handled it yesterday,” Schertzer told The Arizona Republic on Tuesday.

A native of Oklahoma, Vitosky joined the Marine Corps in his early twenties with a passion for aviation. He served as a Marine Corps aviator, flying helicopters in Vietnam in 1969, his ex-wife Ann Vitosky told The Associated Press.

After more than a decade in the military, he transitioned to flying Learjets. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, he had been a certified flight engineer since 1978 and a pilot since 2019.

“His passion was flying,” Ann Vitosky said, adding that he died doing what he loved.

Schertzer echoed that sentiment, emphasizing that her father was in excellent health and dedicated to flying.

“Instead of, you know, retiring and doing nothing, he did it literally until the day he died,” she said.

Why 'Inaccessible Island' owned by UK has never had anyone live there despite many trying

The island is only inhabited by a rare species of sea bird

One of the world’s most remote islands is currently inaccessible to the public, and it’s owned by the UK.

You may have heard of the island of Tristan de Cunha and its UK postcode, and while it holds the title of being the world’s most remote inhabited island, at least people manage to live there.

There are nearby islands that are also under the UK’s jurisdiction and are just as remote, but nobody lives there.

Home to one of the world’s largest colonies of sea birds, it’s located in the south Atlantic and features scenic cliffs.

They’re called Gough and Inaccessible Islands, and even though they are technically dependencies of Tristan da Cunha, the former is over 400km (255 miles) southeast of it, while the latter is just 31 km (19 miles) southwest of the inhabited island.

Currently a UNESCO World Heritage site, they stand as the least-disturbed islands and ecosystems in what’s known as the ‘cool temperate zone’, which is a climate zone with four distinct seasons.

Boasting some eye-catching cliffs and featuring an environment that features no mammals, Gough is ruled by the gallinule and the Gough rowettie, two species of sea birds.

Inaccessible Island, on the other hand, got its name for being exactly that. Inaccessible.

There is one endemic species of land bird here, the Inaccessible Rail, and it lives on the island along with eight types of plants.

Known as an extinct volcanic island, Inaccessible Island was active around six million years ago, with its central area reaching a peak height of 449 metres above sea level.

There are some boulder beaches, though it is surrounded by sea cliffs, making it near impossible to inhabit.

But this didn’t stop some of the more ambitious sailors from trying their luck, despite the unforgiving terrain and conditions around the island.

Captain d’Etchevery, who manned the French ship Etoile du Matin, unsuccessfully tried to land on the island, giving it its ‘Inaccessible’ name, instead of ‘Ile de Etchevery’.

The island became a World Heritage site in 2004 as the conservation of its wildlife became globally significant, with rare species still inhabiting Inaccessible Island.

The most famous shipwreck across the Tristan Islands can also be found here, as the East Indiaman Blenden Hall was destroyed on 23rd July 1821 here, running ashore in foggy weather.

Luckily, around 50 people survived and lived off fish, sea birds and even penguins before making their way to Tristan de Cunha on a small boat.

The are where the ship crashed is now known as ‘Blenden Hall’.

The Glee star died at the age of 33 on July 8, 2020, while on a boat in Lake Piru with her on Josey Hollis Dorsey, who was just four years old at the time.

Rivera had been declared missing after the boat was found floating with Josey alone inside, but no sign of his mother.

A search had begun after Rivera had failed to return the boat she’d rented after the allocated time, and a rescue mission was launched when her young son was found alone inside it with his life jacket on.

Her body was found on July 13, with the sheriff suggesting that Rivera and Josey – who’d been swimming at the time – may have found themselves caught in a rip current and struggled to get back to the boat, saying that she likely “mustered enough energy to save her son, but not enough to save herself.”

Four and a half years have passed since her tragic death, but Rivera’s son – now nine – still holds guilt that he couldn’t do more to save her life, according to his dad, Ryan Dorsey.

The 41-year-old explained in a new interview with People: “He said that the last thing she said was his name, and then she went under, and he didn’t see her anymore. It just rocks my world that he had to witness her last moments.”

Revealing how Josey tried to help his mom, Dorsey added: “Something he’s said over and over is that he was trying to find a life raft, and there was a rope, but there was a big spider on the rope, and he was too scared to throw it.

“I keep reassuring him, ‘Buddy, that rope wasn’t going to be long enough.’

“That obviously still sticks out in his head because he feels like he could have saved her. I think she just got caught up in a brush — that or a weird undercurrent from the dam. It was just a freak occurrence.”

Dorsey admitted that he also wonders if things could have been different if he had also been there that day, but admits it would not necessarily have meant a less tragic outcome.

“I probably would have jumped in, and I like to think I would’ve saved the day. But on the other hand, I think maybe something bad could have happened to both of us. I don’t know,” he told the outlet.

The 41-year-old acknowledged how difficult it has been to grieve for Rivera, admitting that he still can’t look at pictures of her.

After he heard the news she was missing, he recalls collapsing at Ralph’s grocery store in Big Bear, before driving 100MPH on the 145-mile journey to Lake Piru to help with the search.

Dorsey called it the “worst five days of my life” as he feared they may never find her body.

Lake Piru, a 130ft-deep man-made reservoir, is known for its unpredictable currents and whirlpools, and 26 other people have reportedly drowned in its waters.

Ventura County reached a confidential settlement with Dorsey in 2022 after he filed a wrongful death lawsuit due to the rented boat “not complying with safety standards.”

Attorney Amjad M. Khan wrote in a statement to The Blast at the time: “Through this settlement, Josey will receive just compensation for having to endure the drowning of his beloved mother at Lake Piru.

“Though the tragic loss of Josey’s mother can never truly be overcome, we are very pleased that the monetary settlement will significantly assist Josey with his life beyond this tragedy.”

Dorsey also revealed how he helps Josey grieve for his mother, explaining: “You can only give him a hug and tell him, ‘I know, life is not fair. Bad things happen and there’s no reason for it, and you just have to do your best to be a good person.’

“It’s hard trying to explain things that you can’t really make sense of no matter what age you are.

“I’m not a big believer in everything happens for a reason because I can’t ever think of a reason why he doesn’t have his mom.”

Tom Cruise admits he 'would pass out physically' as fans dub him 'legend' for majorly dangerous stunt

The director said the stunts ‘will melt your brain’, and they certainly had an impact on Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise said that while performing a stunt for the upcoming Mission: Impossible movie he ‘would pass out physically’.

By now, you’re likely familiar with the actor’s habit of doing his own stunts. The 62-year-old has been more than willing to put his body on the line in the name of getting a good shot, even if it’s come back to bite him in the past.

While filming a roof jumping stunt for Mission: Impossible – FalloutCruise broke his ankle but was able to drag himself onto the other roof and run out of shot.

He drove a motorbike off a cliff in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, and then returned to the top to do the stunt five more times after being unhappy with the way the bike was plummeting to destruction.

Back in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation he was hanging off the side of a plane, and that was Cruise himself doing that scary stunt.

If you’re sensing that Tom Cruise being somewhere high up in a Mission: Impossible movie is a recipe for dangerous stunts, then you’d be right.

“When you stick your face out [of the plane], going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you’re not getting oxygen,” the actor said. “So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit.”

Apparently there’s an even more ‘intense’ stunt in the film than the one that made Tom Cruise pass out at times, which viewers will apparently be able to recognise when they see it.

For now it might be an idea to appreciate just how insane some of the moviemaking behind this franchise has been and how willing Tom Cruise has been to put himself out there for the art of cinema.

Fans have praised the actor as a ‘legend’ for his dedication, declaring that Cruise is ‘one of a kind’ and ‘untouchable’ as a film star.

Tragedy struck in Big Horn County, Wyoming, on Monday (February 10) afternoon when a mother and her three young daughters were found dead inside their home.

According to the New York Post, 32-year-old Tranyelle Harshman fatally shot her children in the head before dialing 911 to report the horrifying scene.

During the brief call, she informed the dispatcher of the children’s location before abruptly hanging up, the local sheriff’s office reported.

When officers arrived, they discovered the three girls with fatal gunshot wounds, along with their mother, who had also ended her own life.

KRTV reported that only one of the girls, a 7-year-old, survived the heartbreaking murder-suicide.

Her three sisters – a 9-year-old and two 2-year-olds born less than a year apart – were killed. Harshman was still alive when police arrived at the residence but later succumbed to her injuries.

While police continue investigating the circumstances, her husband, Cliff Harshman, told Cowboy State Daily that his wife had been struggling with severe mental health issues, including PTSD and postpartum depression.

“My wife is not a monster,” he told the outlet. “Most people don’t understand how that affects the brain. It’s a chemical imbalance … And it can be exacerbated by trying to fix it with medication.”

Cliff Harshman is the biological father of the two youngest victims and had been helping raise the older two. His 7-year-old stepdaughter remains in critical condition at a Salt Lake City hospital.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to help the “devoted husband and father of four beautiful daughters” with financial assistance.

“Tragedy has struck, leaving us shattered and heartbroken. [Cliff Harshman], a devoted husband and father of four beautiful daughters, has suffered an unimaginable loss: the passing of 3 of his precious girls. 1 still fighting in Salt Lake, please pray for her,” the page read.

“This devastating event has left Cliff and his loved ones reeling in grief, struggling to come to terms with the immense void left in their lives. The financial burden of funeral expenses, ongoing family support, and other related costs only adds to their pain.”

“As a community, we’re rallying around him to offer love, support, and financial assistance during this darkest of times. Your contribution will help alleviate some of the financial stresses, allowing him to focus on healing, reflection, and cherishing the memories of his dear daughters,” the description concluded.

Another GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help Quinn Blackmer, the father of the two older girls.

The fundraiser page states that the two girls were “currently residing with their mother in Wyoming, who attempted to take all 4 of her children’s lives”.

“Brailey (9) and Olivia (7) and their two younger half-sisters suffered deadly gunshot wounds. This news shattered them. Their oldest daughter, Brailey (9), passed away on scene. Olivia (7) was life-flighted to Billings, Montana, then later life-flighted to SLC for the closest and best neurology care team. Olivia has suffered severe traumatic brain injury and is fighting hard for her life!”

“All prayers and whatever higher faith or power you believe in are appreciated for the family at this time. If she does pull through this, she and the family have a very long road ahead of them, a lot of unknown right now,” they added.

Her husband, Craig, is now suing the safari tour company, alleging that the tour operator should have kept her safe, despite the gruesome outcome.

Speaking to NBC News via a statement from his attorneys, the husband explained: “Had we understood the dangers posed by the hippopotamus, we never would have agreed to be in such close contact while on foot.

“The idea that we were unwittingly exposed to such an extreme danger, a danger made even worse by our tour guides leaving Lisa alone on foot with nothing between her and such a deadly animal, is nothing short of astonishing.”

After leaving the US on 31 May 2024, the mother-of-three and her husband travelled to Zambia for a ten-day safari. The lawsuit stated that the former was attacked just five days into the holiday.

They were on a ‘bush walk’, and the suit claims that the tour guide ‘knew or should have known’ how close wild hippopotamuses were, and should have made it clear to those on the walk ‘due to the known tendencies’ of the creatures.

They described the animals as ‘highly unpredictable, territorial, and aggressive’.

The guides had allegedly left the area, with at least one of them armed with a rifle, and this is when disaster struck.

A hippo charged out of a body of water nearby towards Lisa, who tried to run away, as the suit added: “She was unable to escape and the hippopotamus violently attacked her, grabbing her by its mouth, lifting her off the ground, shaking her entire body, and crushing her head and body with its bite.”

The tour was organised by safari company African Portfolio, a company that has its headquarters in Connecticut.

The company’s lawyer, Rod Gould, has described the tragedy as ‘really unusual’, and claimed that the company is only responsible for organising the tours, and not any mishaps that can take place on the trips.

“We’re not responsible if the airline loses luggage,” the lawyer stated.

The suit further adds that the couple were not aware that going near the bank would put them in danger, further adding that they were ‘negligently encouraged’ to stand on the bank for some photos of the wildlife.

One of Craig’s lawyers, Slager of Slager Madry LLC, explained that being in the wilderness ‘can be an incredibly rich experience’, but highlighted that the ‘responsibility’ to ensure the safety of visitors is up to tour operators.

Craig stated: “Her violent death is a devastating loss not only for our family, but for our community.”

Lisa is survived by husband Craig and her three children, as well as her brother Paul and granddaughter Lulu.
