Frank and Kathie’s son, Cody Gifford, is married to Erika Brown and the pair have two kids, Ford and Frankie. On December 13, Erika posted a collage of photos showing their sons having fun at a football game.

In one picture, Ford sat on the grass, wearing noise-canceling earphones and sporting a slight smile. In another, he was seen crawling around the stands, clearly enjoying himself. Frankie was also pictured with noise-canceling earphones, watching the game with a curious expression.

Frank Gifford was a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee in 1977. He was also a legendary player for the New York Giants from 1952 to 1964. Known for his versatility, he made history as the first player to be named to the Pro Bowl as both a defensive and offensive back.

Frank, who passed away from natural causes on August 9, 2015, at 84, was also an actor, appearing in “Jerry Maguire,” “Viva Knievel!,” and “Coach.” In 2022, Kathie Lee Gifford opened up about Frank’s state of health before he died and how she was moving on.

Interestingly, the week he passed, Frank received one of his best medical reports in years and even joked with Kathie, “I guess you’re stuck with me.” However, one Sunday morning, as they prepared for church, Kathie discovered Frank unresponsive on the floor.

Determined to live in the present, she has since embraced the opportunity to create new memories. Kathie is now in a relationship, though she keeps it private. “I am very blessed,” she shared.
