Sydney Sweeney Has Incredible Response To Horrific Body Shaming Comments On Viral Pics
Sydney Sweeney had an incredible response to some horrific body shaming comments made about her viral photos.
The Euphoria star has gone viral for the wrong reasons. The actor posted a video to her 23 million followers on Instagram. The clip started with multiple screenshots of hateful comments presumably posted to her own posts on the app.
Some which read that she was ‘quite frumpy’ and ‘tubby’.
The clip then cuts to the 27-year-old training in the gym and a message which reads ‘hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’.
Many fans have praised the actor for calling out the online hate. One person wrote: “I will never understand the hate in people‘s hearts when it comes to leaving comments like this,” while another wrote: “Ngl why do people feel entitled to talk about someone’s body specially someone you don’t personally know,” while a third remarked: “No one has the right or reason to make comments on anyones body, ever.”
The clip ends with the name ‘Christy Martin’, a nod to her latest project where she plays the famous boxer who won the WBC female super welterweight title in 2009.
Speaking about the film in March to The Los Angeles Times, she said: “I like being able to give ideas, be a part of it, help come up with solutions. It just changes the whole process,” she said.
Sweeney continued: “It’s so hard for me now to be on a set and not be able to help in any type of way and be able to take action. And being able to actually have a voice and have a valued opinion—it means so much.”
