Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of inappropriate behavior, including an emotional outburst over her appearance on set. According to the lawsuit, Baldoni allegedly cried in her dressing room after seeing paparazzi photos of her in character, expressing distress that social media comments criticized her for looking “old and unattractive.” Lively reportedly tried to reassure him, explaining that her character’s look was intentionally authentic, reflecting a scene where her character had endured abuse.

The lawsuit also alleges that Baldoni focused excessively on Lively’s physical appearance, prioritizing her “sexual appeal above all else” and routinely making critical remarks about her age and weight. This fixation reportedly caused delays during filming, impacting the production schedule. The on-set tension culminated in a meeting attended by Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and executives from Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios to address these issues.

In response, Baldoni’s legal team has denied the accusations, labeling them as false and defamatory. His attorney accused Lively of making excessive demands and threatening not to promote the film.
