This year’s best musical or comedy winner at the Golden Globes has been revealed.

Some of 2024’s biggest films were nominated in the category, and a lot of people had their money on Wicked being the movie to win.

But Emilia Pérez was crowned as the winner, sparking some to argue that Wicked was ‘robbed’.

Someone fumed on Twitter: “WICKED WAS F***ING ROBBED. IT SHOULDVE BEEN SWEEPINGGGGG like wake up peopleeee [sic].”

“Wicked getting robbed all night wth,” echoed another.

Speaking about Ariana Grande’s performance in Wicked in particular, another film fan said: “I’m sorry but Ariana grande was robbed at the golden globes because her performance in wicked was literally perfect.”
