Inside Ozzy Osbourne’s relationship with his six children – as two ‘snubbed’ from family’s death announcement

Ozzy had six kids from two marriages, and 10 grandchildren

Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, who has died aged 76, was dad to six children. Four of them added their names to the family announcement confirming the heavy metal star’s death. But amid their grief and mourning, some fans may have wondered why two of Ozzy’s other children were not included.

Ozzy’s widow Sharon Osbourne is mum to three of the late rocker’s kids. But he also shared three children with this first wife Thelma Riley, who Ozzy was married to from 1971 until their divorce in 1982.

They are said to have met when she worked in a nightclub in the 1960s. Notorious for his wild partying in his younger years, Ozzy reflected in his 2009 memoir I Am Ozzy: “I put [Thelma] through hell. I was a very selfish young man, full of drink and drugs, and I didn’t know how to be a husband or a father.”

Ozzy Osbourne on regrets as a father and husband

In 2014, Ozzy admitted his biggest regrets related to his relationships with his family members. He told MailOnline at the time: “The way I treated both my wives… I was a bad father, an abusive husband and I had an ego the size of India.”

Ozzy added: “I spent decades of my life being an absolute idiot. I’ve got so many regrets I can’t even remember half of them. But wives and kids are right at the top. It’s pointless even saying sorry. I couldn’t say it enough times. All I can do is stay sober.”

So, who are Ozzy Osbourne’s kids, and what have they previously said about their famous dad?

Elliot Kingsley

Ozzy is said to have adopted son Elliot when he married his ex-wife, and was believed to be around five years old when Ozzy became his stepdad.

It is reported Eliot is a stage actor who has performed with the National Theatre. According to reports, he doesn’t have any public social media accounts.

Eliot wasn’t mentioned in the family’s death announcement statement.

Louis Osbourne

Ozzy’s eldest child Louis Osbourne, believed to have been born in 1975, is a DJ and is believed to live in the UK. His name was included in the family announcement about his dad’s passing.

After the death was announced, he changed his profile picture on Facebook and Instagram to a black square. His name was also mentioned at the end of his dad’s death announcement.

Louis is quoted as previously describing their relationship: “Dad usually calls on a Sunday afternoon for a catch up and when he comes over to the UK. We take the kids down [to his home in Buckinghamshire]. Dad is great, very much a doting grandad.”

Louis is also said to have been in attendance for Ozzy’s final ever concert earlier this month. He noted on Facebook how the appearance made him emotional.

Louis said: “I was sobbing at times. It was everything we wanted it to be and more.” He added: “I had been anxious for months about this as I’ve been worried about my dad’s ability to perform with his Parkinson’s disease. I just wanted it to be a dignified send off for him. But as soon as he started singing we knew he was gonna nail it.”

Jessica Osbourne

According to reports, Jessica Starshine Osbourne was born in 1979. She is believed to have grown up with Louis and Kingsley in the UK.

She has worked as a theatre actress, and is also believed to have had jobs in wardrobe, makeup and costuming for TV shows. Her acting credits include The Messengers, Manhattan and an episode of Better Call Saul.

She is said to have admitted in 2011 documentary God Bless Ozzy Osbourne that she doesn’t have many memories of her dad from when she was growing up.

Online sources also quote her as saying: “My recollection from my childhood with Dad is that he’d be away for very long periods of time. And there’d always be a period of adjustment when he came home. And then it’d get to normality and then he’d go again. So, it was a very erratic childhood with dad.”

Jessica wasn’t mentioned at the end of the family statement. But she has reacted to her father’s death on Instagram, posting a Story bearing the message: “RIP Ozzy”. The black and white image re-shared on her account also contains audio from the hit Crazy Train.

Why weren’t Elliot and Jessica’s names mentioned in the family statement?

The Mirror claims Ozzy’s children with Thelma have deliberately avoided “the spotlight and media glare”.

“Their low‑profile lives reflect a deliberate choice to stay private as Ozzy’s world of fame, controversy and chaos unfolded around them,” the tabloid said.

And so, it might be they are choosing to deal with their father’s passing privately.

Aimée Osbourne

Aimée Osbourne, Ozzy’s eldest daughter with Sharon, chose not to be part of The Osbournes reality series which introduced Ozzy to new audiences in the early 2000s.

She is a singer-songwriter for band ARO. She said in 2015 of her decision to shun reality TV: “Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.”

She’s also reflected: “I felt if I’d stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away. [Mum] was hurt and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I’m more reserved and my private life is very important.”

Meanwhile, Sharon reportedly told The Sunday Times in 2022: “Aimée doesn’t like the life we lead. It’s not her. The kids don’t get on [with her], and I’m not going to [blank] and say they do.”

Additionally, reports claim Aimée and Kelly may have endured a degree of estrangement. Aimée reportedly told The Independent in 2015: “I wouldn’t say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No.”

Kelly Osbourne

Ozzy and Sharon’s daughter Kelly Osbourne was born in 1984 and found fame on The Osbournes reality show.

She’s acted in Life As We Know It, So Undercover and The Queen’s Handbag, had a clothing line called Stiletto Killers, and has also dabbled in music herself, including duetting on Changes in 2003 with her dad.

Kelly has also popped up on other TV shows such as Dancing With the Stars, The Cube and The Masked Singer, too.

Kelly recently got engaged to Slipknot’s Sid Wilson at Ozzy’s farewell gig earlier this month. Video footage showed Ozzy joking at the time: “[Blank] off, you’re not marrying my daughter.”

Meanwhile, Kelly is said to have said about her relationship with sister Aimée during a 2021 podcast appearance: “We don’t talk. We’re just really different. She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her.”

Jack Osbourne

Born in 1985, Jack became a fitness enthusiast after his breakthrough on The Osbournes.

He’s also made appearance in films such as Austin Powers: Goldmember, reality series such as Hell’s Kitchen and has hosted Celebrity Wrestling: Bring It On! and Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie.

He also created and produced a documentary about his dad. And he has also starred in a number of paranormal-themed programmes, including Haunted Highway and Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour.

Jack and Kelly have appeared on the family podcast together. But he appears to maintain a relationship with Aimée, too, running production company Osbourne Media together.

Jack was diagnosed with MS in 2012. He went public with his diagnosis shortly after, feeling a sense of obligation to raise awareness about the condition.

Ozzy’s grandchildren

Rocker Ozzy had 10 grandchildren.

He became a grandfather for the first time when his daughter Jessica welcomed Isabelle in 2002. Daughter Kitty and son Harry followed.

Louis is dad to two children – daughter Maia and son Elijah. Jack, meanwhile, has Pearl, Andy, Minnie and Maple.

Kelly is mum to son Sidney.

Tammy underwent her skin removal surgery on January 18, and the results were recently revealed on her reality show.

“After six years and losing over 500 pounds, I was finally approved for surgery,” she told People last month.

“I was just overwhelmed with excitement. I worked really hard for this, and now it’s here. I’m pretty sure it was noticeable on my face how immediately shocked and then overwhelmed with joy I was.”

Tammy continued: “I was really nervous for the skin removal surgery because I was really just kind of afraid of how I’m gonna feel looking at myself without the belly there.

“The night before my surgery, I was seriously freaking terrified.”

The reality star revealed that she was more nervous about the skin removal surgery than she was about getting bariatric surgery in 2022.

Tammy’s siblings Amy, Amanda, Misty, and Chris were waiting for her when she returned to her Pittsburgh home from the surgery and praised her dedication to improving her health throughout her lengthy weight-loss journey.

“Oh my God, she looks great,” Misty said on the show. “When she started, she weighed 730 lbs. (330 kg) and we couldn’t even get her to walk to the mailbox. Now she’s lost 500 lbs (226 kg). I mean, that’s a couple people, not just one person! I am so proud of her, it’s just unreal.”

“So much [has] changed about me over the years,” she captioned the post. “I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed to have the support and love not only from my fans/besties but my girlfriend and ofc my family.”

In April, Tammy wowed fans of the show when she flaunted her slimmed-down figure in a mermaid bathing suit.

Tammy has starred on the TLC reality show 1000-Lb. Sisters with her sister Amy since 2020. The show chronicles the sisters’ daily lives and efforts to lose weight.

Thanks to her weight-loss transformation, the Kentucky native no longer needs a walker or the oxygen support tank she had used for 15 years.

“Generally, we want patients to have achieved the majority of their weight loss and maintained a stable weight for 3-6 months before proceeding with skin removal,” he said.

“However, in Tammy’s case, she has a significant amount of loose skin that’s affecting her mobility and contributing to other health concerns. Given this, it makes sense to consider surgery sooner rather than later, even though she will continue to lose weight in the future.”

Between 2020 and 2022, Tammy lost 200 pounds (90 kg) after her doctor informed her that she needed to lose weight in order to qualify for bariatric surgery. A year after the procedure, she lost another 300 pounds (136 kg).

The reality star underwent bariatric surgery in 2022 and lost 300 pounds (136 kg) the following year

In November 2024, the reality show captured the emotional moment when she stepped on a scale and learned she weighed 281.2 pounds (127 kg).

“I think the last time I weighed 281 [pounds], I was in fourth or fifth grade,” she said.

Ozzy Osbourne revealed one thing he wanted to be remembered for before his death aged 76

The 76-year-old Prince of Darkness passed away on Tuesday (July 22)

Ozzy Osbourne revealed what he wanted his legacy to be and how he wanted to be remembered before his passing.

The legendary Black Sabbath frontman died ‘surrounded by love’ at the age of 76 on Tuesday (July 22) morning, his grieving family confirmed in a statement.

The ‘Prince of Darkness’ founded the heavy metal band in 1968, which went on to shape the genre and inspire generations of bands, leaving behind an unmatched cultural legacy.

Tragically, Ozzy had been battling Parkinson’s disease since 2019 as well as spinal chord injuries, but was able to bid farewell to his loyal fans just weeks ago at the ‘Back to the Beginning’ benefit gig in his hometown, Birmingham, UK on July 5.

It was the first time the ‘Prince of Darkness’ returned to the stage alongside his original bandmates in 20 years where due to his ongoing health issues, sang to the masses while seated on a throne.

Fans understood it was to be his final live performance, but could not have prepared for Ozzy to pass a little over a fortnight later.

While the world mourns the loss of the rock icon, an interview from back in 2022 has resurfaced where Ozzy revealed how he wanted to be remembered.

Speaking to PEOPLE, he said at the time: “Survival is my legacy.”

The five-time Grammy winner continued: “I mean, I’m 73. People go, ‘Well, you’re 70… why don’t I throw the towel in?’ Why should I? People still want to buy my records. People still want to see me, so why should I? It motivates me to get off my backside and do something. I mean, if my career had gone down the toilet and I knew it was the end, I’d be pretty miserable.”

As for advice for others, he said to ‘never give up’ on your dreams.

“If you’ve got a passion for something, you’ve got to find a way around it to carry on the passion,” he added.

He also told The Guardian in 2018 that being remembered at all would mean so much to him.

“I’d like to be remembered for the work I did with Black Sabbath. I’m so proud of the music. But to be honest, just being remembered would be an achievement to me.

“I come from Aston in Birmingham, y’know? I used to play on bombsites… There’s a guy living in the house I grew up in, and they charge people £200 to sleep in the bedroom I had as a kid.”

Announcing his death, Ozzy’s family which includes his wife, Sharon Osbourne, said in a statement: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time.”

Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, who helped organize Ozzy’s last hurrah, revealed the ‘Back to the Beginning’ benefit concert raised more than $190 million for Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.

“You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Ozzy told delighted concert-goers at the end of the monumental gig.

He leaves behind his wife, Sharon, and their children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. He is also survived by Jessica and Louis, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, as well as his grandchildren.

Ozzy Osbourne revealed heartbreaking funeral plans before his death aged 76

Ozzy Osbourne revealed heartbreaking funeral plans before his death aged 76

Ozzy previously spoke about his funeral and the song he wanted to be played

Ozzy Osbourne revealed his funeral plans prior to his death at the age of 76.

Ozzy passed away earlier this week, with his family confirming his death in a touching statement.

It read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.

“We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Back in 2019, Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which is a progressive, neurological condition in which different areas of the brain become damaged over time.

While Ozzy’s funeral plans have not yet been released, he once explained that he didn’t want the occasion to be sad.

“There’ll be no harping on the bad times,” he wrote in a column for The Times back in 2011 when a fan wrote in asking about planning his own funeral.

“It’s worth remembering that a lot of people see nothing but misery their whole lives, so by any measure, most of us in this country – especially rock stars like me – are very lucky.

“That’s why I don’t want my funeral to be sad, I want it to be a time to say ‘Thanks’.”

Ozzy also said he didn’t care what music they played, adding: “I honestly don’t care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle, and We Are the Diddymen if it makes ’em happy.”

Although, in a later interview with NME, Ozzy explained he would choose ‘A Day In The Life’ by The Beatles.

He added: “I really need a few more years to think this over, but probably something from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band or Revolver.

“I definitely don’t want my f**king greatest hits album – I never ever play that thing, I’m f**king embarrassed about it. And I definitely don’t want a f**king happy song – I’m dead.”

Ozzy leaves behind his wife, Sharon, and their children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. He is also survived by Jessica and Louis, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, as well as his grandchildren.

Prior to his passing, Sharon organized for Ozzy to return to his home town in the UK for the Back to the Beginning benefit concert, where he performed alongside Black Sabbath, raising $189 million for charity.

“The only place that we could do it would have been Aston, because that’s where Ozzy was born and grew up, which is right where the Villa ground is,” Sharon told Music Business Worldwide.

“I thought of having all the bands he’s ever had relationships with perform and maybe do Sabbath songs and Ozzy songs. It became a celebration of the music.

“All the generations are going to be there that Sabbath and Ozzy have passed the torch down to.”

After performing at the concert, Ozzy told fans: “You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Thailand launches airstrikes on Cambodian military targets as deadly border dispute escalates

Few international tourists visit the area where Thai and Cambodian forces clashed

Few international tourists visit the area where Thai and Cambodian forces clashed

What you need to know

• Thailand launched airstrikes against Cambodian military targets along their long-disputed border, escalating tensions between the Southeast Asian neighbors. Cambodia said it would “respond decisively.” Hours earlier, military clashes in multiple areas along the border killed civilians in Thailand.

• The strikes come a day after a Thai soldier lost his leg to a landmine on the border, prompting a downgrade of diplomatic ties by both Bangkok and Phnom Penh as relations collapse to their lowest level in years.

• Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra was suspended this month and could face dismissal after the leak of a phone call she had with Cambodia’s powerful former leader Hun Sen, in which she appeared to criticize her army’s actions in the dispute.

• Thailand and Cambodia have a relationship of both cooperation and rivalry. They share a 500-mile (800-kilometer) land border — largely mapped by France when it ruled Cambodia — that has periodically seen military clashes and been the source of political tensions.

Thailand closes border with Cambodia as conflict escalates

Thailand closed its border with Cambodia after conflict between the neighboring countries intensified, according to Thai officials.

“We have escalated the measures to level 4, which involves the complete closure of all border checkpoints along the Thai Cambodian border,” said Rear Admiral Surasant Kongsiri, a spokesperson for Ad Hoc Centre for Thailand-Cambodia Border Situation.

Surasant said Thailand felt “obligated and compelled” to close the border because the situation had escalated.

Cambodia’s prime minister urges UN Security Council to convene urgently to “stop Thailand’s aggression”

Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Manet speaks during the 32nd Founding Anniversary of the Royal Gendarmerie at the Royal Gendarmerie Training Centre in Kampong Chhnang province, Cambodia, on July 14.

Cambodia’s Prime Minister has called on the United Nations Security Council to convene an “urgent meeting” to “stop Thailand’s aggression,” after fighting intensified between the neighbors.

Prime Minister Hun Manet said Thai armed forces launched “unprovoked, premeditated and deliberate attacks on Cambodian positions along the border areas,” accusing it of violating international law in a letter to Security Council President Asim Iftikhar Ahmad.

Thailand has accused Cambodia of violating both its sovereignty and international law by laying landmines within Thai territory on the disputed border, and by firing rockets into civilian areas this morning.

Thailand was “prepared to intensify our self-defense measures if Cambodia persists in its armed attack and violations,” its statement said

Death toll in Thailand rises to 11

At least 11 civilians have been killed in Cambodia’s attacks in Thailand, the Thai Health Ministry said.

Cambodia has not yet reported any fatalities on its side.

Thailand-Cambodia clash “likely to get worse before it gets better,” analyst says

The conflict between Thailand and Cambodia is “likely to get worse before it gets better,” an analyst said, as relations between the Southeast Asian countries collapse to their lowest level in years.

The next few days could see more “confrontation, clashes, escalation,” Thitinan Pongsudhirak, a professor of political science at Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University, told CNN. “Each side has so much pent-up tension.”

Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra was suspended this month after the leak of a phone call she had with Cambodia’s powerful former leader Hun Sen, in which she appeared to criticize her army’s actions in their long-standing border dispute.

Some background: Hun Sen, who ruled Cambodia with an iron fist for almost 40 years, stepped down in 2023 and handed power to his son Hun Manet. But he remains a hugely influential figure in Cambodian politics: He serves as senate president and was a friend and ally of Paetongtarn’s father, the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

“(Thailand’s) government is very weak and there’s no unity,” said Pongsudhirak, adding Cambodia is “exploiting divisions in Thailand.”

The border dispute will make the ASEAN regional grouping “even more off balance,” Pongsudhirak said. The grouping, which includes Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, among other Southeast Asian countries, has faced challenges and setbacks in recent years, including internal conflicts, territorial disputes, and geopolitical tensions.

Cambodian rocket attack on Thai gas station killed six people, Thai army says

Six civilians were killed and 10 other people wounded when a Cambodian rocket hit a busy gas station in a Thai village, according to Thailand’s army.

The rocket struck a gas station in the Sisaket province, an army spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday.

Social media videos geolocated by CNN showed several wounded people outside a heavily damaged 7/11 store, with smoke in the background. The store’s entrance was destroyed and its windows were shattered, according to the videos. Several people could be seen running to help a wounded person who was lying in a pick-up truck.

At least nine people have been killed and over a dozen were wounded in Thailand in Cambodian attacks, including an 8-year-old boy, according to the Thai army. Two of the other deaths were in Surin province, while one was in Ubon Ratchathani province.

There was no immediate information about casualties in Cambodia.

Why is the Thai-Cambodian border still disputed?

They share a 508-mile (817-kilometer) land border — largely mapped by the French when they controlled Cambodia as a colony — that has periodically seen military clashes and been the source of political tensions.

Cambodia has previously sought a ruling from the UN’s International Court of Justice over disputed areas, including the site of the most recent clash.

But Thailand does not recognize the ICJ’s jurisdiction and claims that some areas along the border were never fully demarcated, including the sites of several ancient temples.

In 2011, Thai and Cambodian troops clashed in a nearby area surrounding the 11th-century Preah Vihear temple, a UNESCO world heritage site, displacing thousands of people on both sides and killing at least 20 people.

What caused the flare-up between Thailand and Cambodia?

An injured Thai soldier who stepped on a land mine is airlifted to a hospital in Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand, on Wednesday.

Tensions worsened in May when a Cambodian soldier was killed during a brief clash between Thai and Cambodian troops in a contested border area of the Emerald Triangle, where Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos meet.

Thai and Cambodian forces said they were acting in self-defense and blamed the other for the skirmish.

Although military leaders from Thailand and Cambodia said they wished to de-escalate, both sides have since engaged in saber-rattling and reinforced troops along the border.

Thailand took control of border checkpoints, imposed restrictions on crossings and threatened to cut electricity and internet to Cambodia’s border towns. Cambodia, in return, stopped imports of Thai fruit and vegetables and banned Thai movies and TV dramas.

Recent landmine explosions prompted both countries to downgrade relations with each other and recall diplomatic staff.

The first soldier lost his leg in a landmine explosion on July 16. The second incident occurred Wednesday, when a blast injured five Thai soldiers, with one losing his leg. Thursday’s violence marked a significant escalation.

The conflict has had huge political ramifications in Thailand.

Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra was suspended from duties on July 1 after the leak of a phone call she had with Cambodia’s powerful former leader Hun Sen in June, in which she appeared to criticize her own army’s actions in the dispute.

Shinawatra hails from a powerful dynasty and became Thailand’s youngest prime minister last year, at just 38. She could face full dismissal over the call, in which she appeared to signal there was discord between her government and the powerful Thai military.

Few international tourists visit the area where Thai and Cambodian forces clashed

The area where Thai and Cambodian forces clashed today, near the ancient Ta Muen Thom Temple, is not considered a popular destination for international travelers.

The temple lies in disputed territory in the south of Thailand’s Surin province and in Cambodia’s northwest. It’s about 250 miles (400 kilometers) northeast of the Thai capital Bangkok and a five-to-six-hour drive by car.

Surin’s airport does not currently serve commercial flights. The nearest airport offering daily connections with Bangkok is in neighboring Buriram province, about an hour’s drive from downtown Surin and 90 minutes from the temple.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has increased efforts to promote the country’s northeast in recent years, highlighting its unique cuisine, festivals and ancient sites. The region comprises 20 provinces, including Buriram and Surin, and is collectively referred to as Isan.

Unlike Thailand’s north, home to popular destinations such as Chiang Mai, Pai and Chiang Rai, Isan has remained off the radar for the bulk of the millions of international tourists who visit the country each year.

At least eight people in Thailand killed by Cambodian attack, Thai police say

At least eight people in Thailand have been killed in clashes with Cambodia today, Thai police said.

A rocket hit a convenience store in Ban Nam Yen, about 12 miles (20 kilometers) from the border with Cambodia, District Chief of Kantharalak District, Sisaket Province, told Thai public broadcaster PBS.

Thailand accused Cambodian troops of firing two BM-21 rockets into a civilian area in Kap Choeng district, in Surin province, wounding three civilians.

Thailand’s Foreign Ministry said Cambodian attacks on civilian areas continued throughout Thursday, including at the Phanom Dong Rak Hospital.

Cambodia previously said a Thai F-16 fighter jet dropped two bombs on a road. There was no immediate information on casualties on the Cambodian side.

Fighting erupted at six locations along entire length of border, says Thai military

A Cambodian BM-21 multiple rocket launcher returns from the Cambodia-Thai border as Cambodian and Thai troops exchanged fire in a new round of clashes in Preah Vihear province on Thursday.

Clashes have been reported along the entire length of the disputed frontier between Cambodia and Thailand, military officials said.

Thai military officials said clashes, involving small arms and heavy weapons, have since spread along the frontline affecting a total of six locations. This includes sites in Surin province, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

The violence began Thursday morning local time at the ancient, disputed Ta Muen Thom temple site in Thailand’s Surin province, but it is also claimed by Cambodia. Both countries accused their neighbor of firing the first salvo.

Though Cambodia hasn’t acknowledged all six locations, its Defense Ministry said all affected areas “are within Cambodian territory … and are actively protected by Cambodian forces.”

Thailand’s military is more than triple the size of Cambodia’s, and better equipped

Members of the Thai army take part in a ceremony in Saraburi province, Thailand on January 18, 2023.

Thailand’s military dwarfs that of neighboring Cambodia, both in personnel and weaponry.

Thailand’s 361,000 active-duty personnel spread across all branches of its military is three times Cambodia’s manpower.

And Thailand is far ahead of Cambodia when it comes to weaponry.

The US classes Thailand as a major non-NATO ally, the IISS notes. That has enabled it to enjoy decades of US support for its weapons programs, although it has also boosted ties with China in recent years and has developed a strong domestic weapons industry with the help of countries such as Israel, Italy, Russia, South Korea and Sweden, the report said.

The air force’s equipment includes at least 11 modern Swedish Gripen fighter jets and dozens of older US-made F-16 and F-5 jets, according to the IISS. Cambodia has no combat-capable air force.

On the ground, Thailand has dozens of battle tanks, including 60 modern, Chinese-made VT-4 tanks, and hundreds of older, US-made tanks. Cambodia has around 200 old Chinese- and Soviet-made tanks, the “Military Balance” shows.

The Thai army boasts more than 600 artillery pieces, including at least 56 powerful 155mm weapons and more than 550 105mm towed guns. Cambodia has only a dozen 155mm guns with around 400 smaller towed artillery pieces, according to IISS figures.

In the air, the Thai army has US-made Cobra attack helicopters and 18 US Black Hawk transports. Cambodia has only a few dozen older Soviet and Chinese transport helicopters.

Thailand’s armed forces are also regular participants in international military exercises, most prominently the annual Cobra Gold exercises, which Bangkok co-hosts with the US Indo-Pacific Command. Cobra Gold began in 1982 as joint drills with the US, but has added dozens of other participants since then. It’s the longest-running international military exercise in the world, according to the US military.

Thai embassy urges citizens to leave Cambodia, warning conflict “is likely to be prolonged and may expand”

Local vehicles pass the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on Thursday.

The Thai embassy in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh is urging its citizens to leave the country “as soon as possible” as border clashes intensify, warning that the conflict “is likely to be prolonged and may expand further.”

The embassy also advised against any non-essential travel to Cambodia.

Cambodia confirms Thai airstrikes hit its territory first, accuses neighbor of “brutal” aggression

Cambodia’s Defense Ministry has confirmed that Thailand’s airstrikes hit its territory, and said it would “respond decisively.”

Thailand said it had readied six F-16 jets, and later claimed to have “destroyed” two Cambodian regional military headquarters.

Cambodia denounced what it described as Thailand’s “brutal, barbaric and violent military aggression,” its statement said.

Before jets were launched, armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian forces broke out

Hours before Thailand deployed F-16 fighter jets against Cambodian military targets, armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian forces broke out along the border on Thursday, according to military officials.

They began early morning when Thailand’s military said Cambodian troops fired at a Thai army base in an area near the ancient Ta Muen Thom Temple – which lies in disputed territory in the south of Thailand’s Surin province and in Cambodia’s northwest. It said Cambodia had deployed an unmanned drone in front of the temple before sending troops in with weapons.

It also accused Cambodian troops of firing heavy weapons into a civilian area in the nearby Kap Choeng district, in Surin province.

A Cambodian Defense Ministry spokesperson said their troops had acted in self-defense after an unprovoked incursion from Thai soldiers.

Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Manet said in a post on Facebook that Thailand attacked army positions at two temple sites in its Oddar Meanchey province, as well as in Cambodia’s Preah Vihear province and Thailand’s Ubon Ratchathani province.

Hun Manet also called on Cambodian citizens to remain calm.

At least two Thai soldiers were injured on Thursday, Reuters reported, citing a Thai army official.

Two hospitals in Thailand’s Surin province near the site of the clash have begun evacuating patients, according to Thailand’s ministry of public health.

Thailand has deployed fighter jets against Cambodian military targets along their disputed border, in a dramatic escalation of tensions that threatens to erupt into a broader conflict.

The attack comes a day after a Thai soldier lost his leg in a landmine explosion, an incident that saw relations between the two Southeast Asian neighbors collapse to their lowest level in years.

Thailand’s 2nd regional military command in the northeast said on Facebook that F-16 fighter jets had been deployed. It also claimed to have “destroyed” two Cambodian regional military headquarters.

Thailand’s Deputy Army spokesperson Col. Richa Suksuwanont said the airstrikes were aimed only at military targets.

There was no immediate confirmation from the Cambodian side.

Armed clashes between Thai and Cambodian forces had broken out along the disputed border earlier on Thursday, according to military officials, wounding civilians and prompting the evacuation of residents in Thailand.

12 Ways to Get Rid of Blackheads

Many over-the-counter skin care products target blackheads, including products containing salicylic acid. Certain practices, such as daily facial cleansing and removing makeup, may also help remove and prevent blackheads.

What you can do

Blackheads are one of the most common forms of acne. Although people who have oily skin are more vulnerable to blackheads, anyone can get them.

They form when pores become clogged with a combination of dead skin cells and excess oil (sebum) from your sebaceous glands.

Unlike whiteheads, which create closed pores, blackheads have open surfaces, which creates an oxidation that’s dark in color.

It may be tempting to try to pinch or push the black plug out, but this can cause unnecessary scarring and other damage to your skin.

“The good news is that there is a cornucopia of over-the-counter products that contain effective ingredients to exfoliate, soften, and even remove blackheads,” says Allison Britt Kimmins, MD, MPH.

Keep reading to learn how to:

1. Cleanse with salicylic acid

Instead of benzoyl peroxide, look for over-the-counter (OTC) products that contain salicylic acid.

Salicylic acid is the preferred ingredient for treating blackheads and whiteheads because it breaks down the materials that clog pores:

  • excess oil
  • dead skin cells

By choosing a daily cleanser with salicylic acid, you can remove these elements in addition to:

  • daily dirt
  • oil
  • makeup

Although you still need to wash your face twice a day, try using a cleanser that has salicylic acid in it just once a day to start. Britt Kimmins notes that salicylic acid is especially good for those with dry skin.

You may consider using it at night only and then using your regular cleanser in the morning. As your skin gets used to the product, you may choose to use it both morning and night.

Many people are sensitive to salicylic acid. You may not be able to use it more than once every few days. If you continue to react to it, discontinue use.

Find cleansers online:

2. Gently exfoliate with AHAs and BHAs

In the past, you may have heard that exfoliating produces a negative effect on acne. This can be true for inflammatory acne, as the process can cause further redness and irritation.

For blackheads, though, regular exfoliation can help remove excessive amounts of dead skin cells that can lead to clogged pores. The process may also gently remove existing blackheads.

Rather than looking for harsh scrubs, you’ll want to focus on alpha and beta hydroxy acids (AHAs and BHAs). Glycolic acid is the most common type of AHA, and salicylic acid is a prominent BHA.

Both work by removing the top layer of your skin. In theory, this can improve the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, all while cleansing pores and making your skin softer.

You’ll find that BHAs are more widely available on the market, and in some cases, they’re more affordable too!

“Both AHAs and BHAs are excellent as superficial peels, says Britt Kimmins. “AHAs and BHAs …treat the superficial layer of skin and therefore are safe for OTC use in all skin types.”

Find exfoliating products online:

3. Pick up a skin brush

A skin brush can provide similar exfoliating benefits as AHAs and BHAs by removing excess dead skin cells.

Susan Massick, MD, dermatologist and associate professor of dermatology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center advises caution.

She recommends that skin brushes only be used occasionally with a gentle cleansing wash and to avoid the use of a brush altogether if you have sensitive skin.

Depending on your needs and budget, there are a variety of skin brushes available to be used with your daily cleanser.

Find skin brushes online:

Clarisonic

  • Details: Clarisonic is an anti-aging and cleansing device designed to gently exfoliate, minimize the appearance of pores, firm skin, reduce under-eye puffiness, and blend foundation.

  • Cost: $
4. Try topical retinoids

Retinoids may be useful for stubborn cases of acne by helping to unplug pores. This process can also make other OTC products more effective by helping them to be better able to enter the follicle.

But if you’ve got dry skin, Britt Kimmins recommends avoiding strong exfoliants, like retinoids, altogether.

Shop for the following retinoids online:

ProActiv’s Adapalene Gel 0.1%

  • Details: Adapalene is benzoyl peroxide-free. It’s a once-daily retinoid gel that absorbs quickly to treat acne at the cellular level.
  • Cost: $

Differin Gel

  • Details: Differin Gel effectively targets two primary causes of acne: clogged pores and inflammation. It clears breakouts where they start (deep in pores) and prevents new acne from forming.
  • Cost: $
5. Use a clay mask

Clay masks help to draw oils and toxins out of the skin, which helps to unclog pores, says Britt Kimmins. Clay masks are often considered must-haves for oily skin.

Some clay masks also contain sulfur. Sulfur is another ingredient that works to break down the dead skin cells that make up blackheads.

No matter which mask you choose, you can use it once a week in addition to your once- or twice-weekly exfoliating treatment.

Find clay masks online:

L’Oréal’s Detox and Brighten Pure Clay Mask

  • Details: L’Oréal’s mask claims to detoxify and illuminate skin in just 10 minutes. Potent pure clay and charcoal act like a magnet to clean out pores by drawing out and capturing deep impurities, such as dirt, oil, and pollution.

6. Use a charcoal mask

Like clay masks, charcoal masks work deep in the skin to draw out oil and other impurities, says Britt Kimmins. Charcoal is thought to take these benefits up another notch.

7. Consider a chemical peel

Chemical peels are traditionally used for anti-aging benefits, such as reduced age spots and fine lines. The peels often contain AHAs or BHAs, and they work by exfoliating the skin, says Massick.

In theory, smoother, refreshed-looking skin should be revealed after going through the process.

Though they’re not considered a primary treatment for blackheads, chemical peels can possibly remove dead skin cells and shrink enlarged pores.

This treatment method may be especially helpful if you’re looking for anti-aging benefits too.

Find chemical peels online:

DermaDoctor’s Physical Chemistry Facial

  • Details: DermaDoctor’s Physical Chemistry Facial Microdermabrasion + Multiacid Chemical Peel provides an intensive exfoliating treatment for a clinical at-home chemical peel and microdermabrasion session in one.
  • Cost: $$$

  • Details: QRx Labs Glycolic Acid 30% Gel Peel stimulates collagen production, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation in the skin by increasing cell regeneration. New cells replace older and damaged ones, exposing a younger skin surface.
  • Cost: $
8. Make sure you’re using noncomedogenic products

The right cleanser, mask, and exfoliator may do little good if you don’t use noncomedogenic makeup and face products. In fact, Massick recommends starting off a blackhead removal regimen with noncomedogenic products.

Noncomedogenic means that the product in question won’t cause comedones, or clogged pores. Not all products are noncomedogenic, so you’ll have to read labels carefully.

Find noncomedogenic products online:

ProActiv Green Tea Moisturizer

  • Details: This moisturizer is lightweight and was made especially for acne-prone skin. It’s designed to deliver deep hydration and gently rejuvenate dull, tired-looking skin — without clogging pores.

  • Details: Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen is fragrance free and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. It helps keep your skin protected from the sun during outdoor activities.
  • Cost: $
9. Don’t sleep in your makeup

At the end of a long day, the last thing you may want to do is to take off your makeup.

However, sleeping with your makeup on is asking for more blackheads. If left on overnight, even noncomedogenic makeup can clog your pores.

Those with oily skin may want to consider using a foaming cleanser, says Britt Kimmins. Makeup removers can also be used before washing your face for extra cleansing power.

Find makeup removal products online:

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

  • Details: Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser creates a foamy lather that cleanses without overdrying the skin and helps remove even waterproof makeup. It washes away dirt, oil, and makeup in one easy step.

10. Avoid pore strips and other home extraction methods

You’ve already learned that picking, scratching, and popping any form of acne is considered off-limits. Still, it can be tempting to locate some form of extraction to get rid of those pesky blackheads.

In recent years, there’s been an uptick in masks, pore strips, and extraction tools that promise clean pores.

Although pore strips and masks may help remove junk from your pores, they can also remove elements that actually help your skin. This includes natural oils and hair follicles. Removing all of these elements can cause your skin to dry out and become irritated.

When irritation occurs, your sebaceous glands may go into survival mode and produce even more oil — resulting in more blackheads.

Other extraction methods include professional-grade metal or plastic tools. These purportedly work by removing clogged blackheads without scratching your skin. The keyword here though, is professional.

Dermatologists who have years of training sometimes use these tools. When placed into hands with limited experience, extraction tools can turn into a source for scratches, wounds, and even scars.

11. Don’t waste your time on benzoyl peroxide

When it comes to over-the-counter (OTC) acne spot treatments, you’re likely to find that many products contain benzoyl peroxide. The problem is, benzoyl peroxide doesn’t work for all types of acne.

Benzoyl peroxide works by reducing swelling, which a key marker of inflammatory acne, which includes cysts and pustules. It can also get rid of underlying bacteria in a pimple.

However, blackheads aren’t considered inflammatory. Also, they are not caused by bacteria, so products featuring benzoyl peroxide won’t do much good.

12. See your dermatologist for professional extraction

Any new acne regimen, including one for blackheads, can take anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks to take effect.

If you continue to see new and preexisting blackheads after this time, you may need to make an appointment with your dermatologist. They can use professional tools to extract blackheads. The Healthline FindCare tool can provide options in your area if you don’t already have a dermatologist.

They may even recommend a series of dermabrasion treatments or prescription retinoids to prevent blackheads from coming back.

Pennsylvania nurse used 20 aliases, 7 Social Security numbers to illegally treat patients: Police

Shannon Nicole Womack, 39, has been charged with 43 counts.

A woman accused of impersonating four nurses from other states and using around 20 aliases since 2020 has been arrested and charged with dozens of counts, police said.

Shannon Nicole Womack, 39, has been charged with 43 counts, including endangering the welfare of a care-dependent person, identity theft, forgery and falsely pretending to hold a license, according to court records.

Womack is also charged with use and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records.

Womack was arrested on Monday, court records show.

Womack gave police false identification when she was pulled over by police in a routine traffic stop in April on Interstate 79, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

An investigation revealed that approximately 20 different aliases and seven different Social Security numbers were associated with Womack, according to police.

A search warrant was then executed on her vehicle, and investigators found multiple forms of identification, prescription medications prescribed to different victims, medical documents and various pieces of medical equipment, police said.

Womack posed as a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse and registered nurse supervisor at multiple rehabilitation and nursing home facilities throughout Pennsylvania, police said.

She was using the identities and credentials of four confirmed nurses from southern states, police said.

“Womack was able to secure these nursing positions through staffing agencies by submitting fraudulently signed documents and also by creating a false LLC to self-deploy herself to multiple jobs,” police said in a statement.

“Womack obtained employment through staffing agencies and even … was able to create her own host agency,” Pennsylvania State Police trooper Rocco Gagliardi said at a press conference. “So she was picking up the phone and transferring those employment jobs, careers, to herself.”

Police believe she began the deception in 2020 and continued it across many states on the eastern side of the country.

“During that COVID time, they got hit hard, and they needed help,” Gagliardi said. “So it wasn’t uncommon for these different residence locations, agencies, to reach out to host agencies and say we need some extra shifts filled. That started in 2020 and it was such an easy transition, she just kept going after that.”

The investigation remains ongoing, police said.

Womack’s bail was set at $250,000. Her next court appearance was scheduled for July 29.

Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot were caught embracing on the big screen at a Coldplay concert

At a Coldplay concert in Boston, Byron and Cabot were caught embracing on the big screen, before immediately jumping apart once they realised they were on camera.

At the time, frontman Chris Martin seemed pretty shocked, telling crowds: “Oh look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they’re just really shy.”

Due to the unusual reaction, a clip of what happened went viral on TikTok and has since been viewed over 100 million times.

Following the viral moment, Byron resigned from his role of CEO of Astronomer, with the company sharing a statement: “As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

Neither Byron or Cabot have addressed the video themselves.

Many people have been left with some resounding questions, however, including whether either could sue Coldplay for putting them on the big screen.

Now, one legal expert has weighed in on how Byron could potentially take legal action over the clip.

“If we are getting creative, a possible claim would be for defamation, specifically as it relates to Chris Martin characterizing the two as having an ‘affair,’” attorney Camron Dowlatshahi from MSD Lawyers told Page Six.

However, Byron would have to prove Martin’s comments were defamatory, which means he would have to prove there was no affair to begin with.

Considering neither have done this already, it’s unlikely.

What makes it even more unlikely is that Byron would also have to prove that Martin ‘knew or should have known’ that he wasn’t having an affair, but decided to make the remark anyway.

“None of those elements will be met, so any claim against Coldplay would be frivolous,” Dowlatshahi added.

“I also very much doubt that Mr. Byron would want further public scrutiny by bringing a borderline frivolous suit against the event organizers and/or Coldplay.”

Other legal experts have also weighed in on whether there could be grounds to sue, with Jayne Holliday, Legal Director at Higgs LLP, telling UNILAD: “It’s highly unlikely they’d have a legal case against the person who shared the footage or Coldplay, as it was taken in a public place and appears to show real events, without manipulation.

“… There’s very little expectation of privacy in a public venue like a stadium, particularly at a high-profile event where cameras and phones are everywhere. If you’re in public and being filmed without your consent, it might feel intrusive, but it’s generally not illegal unless it crosses into harassment, defamation, or breach of data protection laws – which this doesn’t appear to do.”

Meanwhile, Ron Zambrano of the Los Angeles-based West Coast Employment Lawyers told The Mirror: “Any legal claims from Byron would be dead on arrival. He has no grounds to sue.

“First, it would immediately be struck down as a restriction on creative speech and Coldplay’s ability to be artistic during their performances.

“Second, Byron and Cabot waived their right to privacy when they decided to attend a public event, so their public display of affection is on them, not on Coldplay. They just got caught.”

Andy Byron was seen with his arms wrapped around an employee at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts

There has been speculation that former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron may look into suing Coldplay.

Byron has been the center of a huge scandal in recent days after he was spotted with his arms wrapped around employee Kristen Cabot by a jumbotron at Coldplay‘s concert in Massachusetts on Wednesday (July 16).

A huge storm has since followed the pair after a video of their brief and rather awkward interaction, with the band’s frontman went viral on TikTok, sparking Byron to resign from his position as CEO.

The tech firm announced on social media: “As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”

The statement went on: “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

Away from statements made by Astronomer, neither Cabot or Byron have publicly addressed the ordeal.

In the wake of the huge fallout the now-viral video has caused for Byron, some have questioned if he has grounds to sue Coldplay.

Weighing in on this, Ron Zambrano of the Los Angeles-based West Coast Employment Lawyers told The Mirror: “Any legal claims from Byron would be dead on arrival. He has no grounds to sue.”

Zambrano went on: “First, it would immediately be struck down as a restriction on creative speech and Coldplay’s ability to be artistic during their performances.

“Second, Byron and Cabot waived their right to privacy when they decided to attend a public event, so their public display of affection is on them, not on Coldplay. They just got caught.”

Tre Lovell, a civil and entertainment attorney of the Lovell Firm, echoed similar sentiments.

“When you are out in public, you have no right to privacy for your actions,” he explained, adding: “People are free to photograph you and video you.”

Lovell divulged further: “What people cannot do is use the video or photographs to violate your right to publicity in terms of using your image for commercial purposes or defame you and depict you in a manner that is false or untruthful.”

With all this in mind, he agrees that Byron has no grounds to sue Coldplay.

Michael Bell was executed last week, and has reinvigorated talk around death row

Michael Bell is the latest Florida prisoner to be executed, and he has a shocking connection to multiple other death row inmates.

Bell was executed on July 14 at the age of 54, and his death has sparked more conversations about his past.

The inmate was sentenced to death for two murders eight years ago, but he has also confessed to three more.

During his trial, Bell’s defense attempted to introduce the childhood trauma that Bell suffered as mitigating evidence, but the state of Florida argued his brutal murders warranted the death penalty anyway.

More concerningly, however, Bell had a direct link to 34 other murderers who have found themselves on death row.

Experts have been forced to weigh in on how much this shared experience contributed to the decisions they would end up making later on in life that would see them sentenced to death.

When Bell was 15, he spent six months at Dozier School for Boys, a school in Marianna, Florida, that argued it focused on juvenile reform when, in actuality, those at the school suffered immense and systematic bouts of abuse.

A 2024 review of 14 studies published in Biological Psychiatry: Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging concluded that abuse can disrupt and rewire neural pathways involved in problem-solving.

This can then have a knock-on effect leading to struggles with emotions and empathy.

Martha J. Farah, a cognitive neuroscientist and professor at the University of Pennsylvania explained: “Developmental neuroscientists have come to think that there are two periods of life during which people are very sensitive to their environment.

“The first is in very early life. But there’s increasingly a view that adolescence is a second sensitive period.”

A report by the Marshall Project revealed that at least 34 students at the Florida school ended up on death row. The same happened with 16 boys sent to a separate boys school with a troubled history, named Okeechobee.

The students from the two schools are believed to collectively be responsible for 114 murders following their time there.

According to the scathing report, many of the children at Dozier were strapped down and beaten until they bled or fell unconscious, were shackled in positions for hours, were sexually assaulted, and had bets taken on who would win in a fight as younger boys were pitted up against older ones.

And you thought your school was bad!

In addition to this, between 1900 and 1973, almost 100 student deaths occurred and went unreported until forensic evidence uncovered 55 graves on the campus.

In 2017, a formal apology was issued, and in 2024 the legislature passed a $20 million compensation bill for survivors of abuse between 1940–1975.

But those on death row were ineligible for restitution.

Ahead of Bell’s execution, Maria DeLiberato, the executive director of Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, took issue with the treatment of those on death row despite the admittance of abuse at the school.

She said: “The State of Florida put [Bell] there. I mean, they put him in that space where he committed this crime and now they’re going to take his life.”

She later added: “Michael Bell’s life was derailed by the state as a child—and then ended by the state as an adult. His execution is a moral contradiction.”

And Bell’s terrible experience also wasn’t isolated.

Former Dozier student Jesse Guardado, 62, is currently on death row for killing a 75-year-old Walton County woman during the tail-end of a 2004 crack binge, and said he witnessed multiple criminal acts and was physically abused himself at the school.

Another victim who ended up on death row and has since been executed was Jerry White. Going to the school at the age 14, he also experienced a year of severe beatings and would grow up to rack up nine felony convictions before murdering a customer during a robbery.

Death row inmate had surprising final words before execution by lethal injection

Death row inmate had surprising final words before execution by lethal injection

54-year-old Michael Bernard Bell is the latest death row inmate to be put to death

America has now executed 26 death row inmates in 2025, surpassing last year’s figures.

25 people were put to death in the US in 2024 and its scheduled that a total of 35 death row inmates will die this year, per the Death Penalty Information Center.

Meanwhile, for 2026, there are already eight death penalties set to be carried out.

The 26th person to be put to death this year was Michael Bernard Bell, who was pronounced dead yesterday (July 15) at Florida State Prison, where he had been holed up for two decades.

Bell was facing the death penalty for the murders of Jimmy West, 23, and 18-year-old Tamecka Smith outside a Florida bar in 1993.

On the night in question Bell saw West driving a car that used to belong to the person who was responsible for his brother’s death.

With this in mind, Bell believed West was linked to his sibling’s murder and went on to recruit two of his friends to help him open fire on the vehicle.

But authorities said that West and Smith, who was also killed in the shooting, had nothing to do with Bell’s brother’s passing.

West died at the scene while Smith died in the ambulance on the way to hospital. A third person was also in the car who miraculously survived the incident.

As well as West and Smith’s murders, Bell was later convicted for the deaths of three others, New York Post reports.

He fatally shot a mom and her toddler son in 1989 and, just a few months before West and Smith’s slaying, Bell murdered his own mother’s boyfriend.

After 20 years behind bars, Bell was pronounced dead at 6:25pm local time yesterday.

Speaking before the lethal injection was administered Bell said: “Thank you for not letting me spend the rest of my life in prison.”

These were the 54-year-old’s final words.

Eight of 2025’s executions have taken place in Florida, with a ninth set to take place later this month.

This is a dramatic change to last year when the state only carried out one death sentence.

The next person set to be killed is Edward J. Zakrzewski II who will be put to death on July 31.

Like Bell, Zakrzewski has been in prison since the 1990s having been convicted in 1996 for the death of his wife and their sons, aged five and seven.

Reportedly Zakrzewksi’s wife was trying to divorce him which sparked his fatal attack on her.

The woman revealed what she looked like before her $336k plastic surgery transformation

The woman revealed what she looked like before her $336k plastic surgery transformation

A woman who spent $336k on plastic surgery has revealed what she looked like before after an extreme transformation.

After Khloe Kardashian getting honest about her cosmetic procedures, and fans praising her for posting ‘unedited’ snaps, it seems the whole world is getting a little more candid about their plastic surgeries.

A woman who spent over $336k on her extreme human Barbie transformation has now revealed what she looked like at 18-years-old.

Alicia Amira got very honest about the girl she used to be, as U.K. TV personality, Olivia Attwood, asked her where the desire for the transformation came from.

The former Love Island star has an ITV series titled Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, where she explores the ever-evolving world of cosmetic surgery and social media.

Themes explored so far in the show include weight loss, perfect smiles, skin, mummy makeovers, men, and people who have spent more than £100,000 on their transformations.

In this particularly striking moment, Alicia showed the host some images of herself, prior to any cosmetic procedures.

Her transformation has left Alicia with large lips and breasts, as well as long platinum blonde hair.

And it’s safe to say that her look 10 years prior, is totally unrecognizable.

Looking through the scrapbook of old images, Olivia gasped: “Oh. My. God.”

The star then asked Alicia: “Do you think this girl had any idea how your life would be and how you’d look?”

She noted: “No! To people who really knew me back then, knew what I was like, it wouldn’t be a big shock because I’ve always sort of been quite outgoing and confident and s**ual and stuff like that.

“I just needed to find my niche, you know?”

Her three main procedures include breast implants, lip filler and a rhinoplasty.

Olivia also broached the cost of her surgeries, and how she has managed to afford such expensive cosmetic work.

Alicia responded: “I choose my health and my looks over everything so I spend a lot of money on the stuff I put into my body such as food and that kind of thing.

“And I spend a lot of money on getting the right kind of filler, the best products.”

When asked if she would ever want to go back to her natural looks at 18, she said: “No, this is so much fun!

“I just have such a fun life and I would never want it to change.”

Despite having dabbled in cosmetic procedures herself, Olivia has previously warned of a ‘national issue’ when it comes to our attitudes towards plastic surgery.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, she said: ” There are a lot of people injecting a lot of stuff into themselves and when you actually ask the questions about what’s in them, they don’t have the answer.

“That highlights a national issue which is really important we put a light on.”

Olivia has previously explored the phenomenon of Lemon Bottle Fat Dissolving.

It’s an injectable cosmetic treatment, which allegedly combines Vitamin B2 and other natural ingredients to accelerate the metabolism of fat cells.

However, when asked by Olivia in her documentary, several professionals did not truly know what was in bottles, despite administering them to patients for a whopping $337 per time.

However, the star is also ‘excited’ about the future of plastic surgery, despite some concerns.

She said: “There are so many things that are happening on the surgery table like facelifts, fat grafting, and stem cells that are literally turning back the clock.

“It’s dystopian, it’s very exciting to watch the industry develop at such a fast rate and there’s no limits to what we’ll see in the next ten years in terms of scientific development of anti-ageing procedures.”
