Hackman and Arakawa’s neighbours spoke about the couple’s lives before they were found dead in their Santa Fe home

Gene Hackman’s neighbour has made a sweeping statement about the late actor and his wife, after they were found dead in different rooms of their own home.

Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found in their Santa Fe mansion last Wednesday (26 February), with evidence pointing towards the pair being dead for over a week before being found.

The 95-year-old two-time Oscar winner was found in a mudroom, partially mummified, with his sunglasses and cane on the floor, while Arakawa was found in the bathroom with bloating on her face and mummification in her hands and feet.

Sheriff Fe sheriff Adan Mendoza previously confirmed the deaths, saying: “We can confirm that both Gene Hackman and his wife were found deceased Wednesday afternoon at their residence on Sunset Trail.”

Morgan Freeman presented a tribute to the late Hackman at this year’s Oscars, as members of the film industry mourned his loss.

Hackman starred in over 70 movies, and resided in New Mexico, USA, following the end of his acting career.

While Sheriff Mendoza said they ‘did not believe that foul play was a factor’, he later revealed that the pills found next to Arakawa’s body was a ‘significant’ piece of evidence as investigators also found one of their three dogs dead in a closet.

On Friday last week (28 February), he also said that Hackman’s pacemaker recorded its final heartbeat on 17 February, meaning it was ‘a very good assumption’ that it was the last day of his life.

There was also no carbon monoxide found in their bodies, dismissing any theories of a gas leak being the cause of death.

Now, almost a week on from their discovery, their neighbours have spoken up about the Hollywood legend, and how much they saw him.

While the exact causes of death are being investigated, the case has presented a lot of questions, such as how the couple’s deaths weren’t discovered for over a week.

Speaking to the New York Times, members of their gated private community five miles from Sante Fe revealed that they barely saw the celebrity couple.

James Everett, who lived part-time in a house next door for around five years, said: “They have a gate, and we have a gate, and we just have never even seen each other.”

Bud Hamilton, who lived in the other house next door for around 20 years, revealed that they only had dinner together once in that time.

Harvey Chalker, who has lived in the area for a considerable amount of time, said of the one time he met Hackman: “He wanted to be quiet, he didn’t want to be bothered, and I don’t blame him.”

He said that was their only encounter, when he bought hiking shoes from his shop.

Another nearby neighbour, Fernando Miranda, lived near the couple since 2018 and recalled being in the neighbourhood on 17 February, the reported day of their deaths, saying it was ‘saddening’ that the couple may have passed away then.

Beau Theriot is another homeowner that visits his house in the neighbourhood a few times away, recalling the time he saw Hackman and Arakawa walking down the road a number of years ago: “I know there’s some nice people up there, I just don’t know them.

Authorities have since stated that the case was ‘suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation’, though no foul play is suspected.

Mendoza added that he was ‘pretty confident’ of this, but explained: “But of course, we’re not ruling anything out.”

The high-profile pair were found by two maintenance workers, who said they had not seen the couple for two weeks prior.

Clifford’s trial began in Crown Court this morning

A court has today heard more horrific details of the case of the ‘crossbow killer’ Kyle Clifford, who murdered his ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt, 25, her mother, Carol and sister, Hannah last year.

Clifford was said to be planning ‘an attack on the Hunt family’ before being arrested on suspicion of murdering the three women at their family home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on 9 July, 2024.

Opening the prosecution case today (4 March), Alison Morgan KC said that on 9 July last year, Clifford committed ‘acts of extreme violence’ against his former partner Louise and other members of her family after she ended their relationship.

Back in January, the Brit pleaded guilty to triple murder and false imprisonment of his former partner, Louise.

Morgan claimed that the couple broke up at the end of June and in the days following the split, Clifford made attempts to get Louise to take him back, but she refused.

The prosecutor continued: “This rejection angered the defendant. He was angry at Louise, but also at the Hunt family generally, as he correctly assumed that friends and family members had advised Louise to end the relationship with him.”

She added that Louise’s friends and family were concerned about the toll that the relationship was having on her, with one friend, Grace Sully, revealing that he had acted aggressively a number of times and had a ‘nasty temper’.

Hannah even told a friend that the family saw Clifford as ‘disrespectful, rude and arrogant’.

“The attack was carefully planned and executed, involving the deceit of Louise’s mother Carol Hunt, in order to gain access to the family home, followed by a brutal knife attack upon her,” Morgan said.

She went on: “[Clifford] then waited for Louise to enter the property, before restraining, raping and ultimately murdering her with a crossbow.

“He then killed Louise’s sister Hannah Hunt with the crossbow, when she returned to the property after work.”

Following his guilty plea on three counts of murder and the false imprisonment of Louise, Morgan added: “The only count for you to determine is that of rape. During the course of this prolonged incident of violence, the prosecution alleges that the defendant raped Louise Hunt.

“It was a violent, sexual act of spite, before he then killed her and you will have to determine that allegation against him.”

The court also heard that Clifford was seeing a number of other women behind Louise’s back.

Clifford denies raping his ex-girlfriend.

He pleaded guilty to stabbing Carol, 61, to death, and shooting Louise and Hannah, 28, with a crossbow in July last year.

BBC racing commentator John Hunt, the husband of Carol and father of Louise and Hannah, issued an emotional statement in September last year following the tragedy, saying on behalf of himself and his surviving daughter Amy: “The warmth from everyone at the track was so striking with hugs and kindness washing over me all day. My thanks to everyone who has contacted me, to Racetech who made things so straightforward and all racegoers who said hello.

“Amy and I are determined to take small steps forward whenever we feel able. To that end, today was a good day and I’m grateful for it.”

Russia releases statement after Donald Trump's decision to stop military aid into Ukraine

A spokesperson for the Kremlin has now weighed in on the news

Last night (3 March) the US Government announced they would be suspending all military aid to the Eastern European country, following a tense meeting between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy just days before.

The US had previously been a huge supporter of the Ukrainian military, following Russia’s 2022 invasion, with the previous Biden administration providing Kyiv with over $66.5 billion (£52.3 billion) in aid.

Russia has now responded to the news, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov calling the move ‘best contribution to the cause of peace’.

“If this is true, then this is a decision that can really encourage the Kyiv regime to (come to) the peace process,” Peskov said (via Reuters).

“It is obvious that the United States has been the main supplier of this war so far. If the United States stops being (an arms supplier) or suspends these supplies, it will probably be the best contribution to the cause of peace.”

Peskov previously spoke about the Trump administration’s shift in foreign policy over the weekend, saying the Republican president’s coincided with their ‘vision’.

“The new administration is rapidly changing all foreign policy configurations,” he told a reporter from Russian state media on Wednesday, with the comments later published on Sunday (2 March) via The Guardian.

“This largely coincides with our vision.”

Peskov continued: “There is a long way to go, because there is huge damage to the whole complex of bilateral relations. But if the political will of the two leaders, President Putin and President Trump, is maintained, this path can be quite quick and successful.”

Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov has also praised 78-year-old US leader, calling his approach to Ukraine ‘common sense’.

Meanwhile numerous European leaders have since reaffirmed their support for Ukraine, with UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer chairing a summit with various NATO leaders in the aftermath of Zelenskyy and Trump’s public fall out.

“We remain absolutely committed to securing a lasting peace in Ukraine and are engaging with key allies in support of this effort,” a UK government spokesperson said earlier today, after the decision to suspend military aid was confirmed.

“It is the right thing to do, and is in our interest to do so.”

The spokesperson added: “In addition, we’ve set up a partnership with Ukraine that allows them to use £1.6 billion of UK export finance to buy 5,000 air defence missile manufactured in Belfast, putting Ukraine in the strongest possible position for peace.”

Russia and Ukraine have been locked in an all out conflict since 24 February 2022, when Russian military invaded the Eastern provinces of the country. Russian forces currently occupy numerous oblasts in the east of Ukraine, while the Ukrainian military has taken small amounts of Russian territory along the boarder.

UK statement released after Donald Trump's decision to pause all military aid to Ukraine

The decision follows a disastrous meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy

A spokesperson for the UK government has shared a statement in response to Donald Trump’s decision to pause of military aid to Ukraine.

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s all gone a bit t*ts up on the global political stage. What was intended to be a routine visit from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House to sign a minerals agreement with the US went horribly, horribly wrong after the pair ended up having a public bust-up in the Oval Office.

The following days have seen numerous European countries reaffirm their support for Zelenskyy, amid Russia’s full-scale invasion of the country, while President Trump and his ‘first buddy’ Elon Musk decided to call out the Ukrainian leader on social media.

Not content with accusing Zelenskyy of ‘gambling with WW3’, Trump has now announced the decision to pause all military aid to Ukraine, with a White House aid insisting the decision will secure peace between the two nations.

“President [Trump] has been clear that he is focused on peace,” White House official anonymously told Sky News.

“We need our partners to be committed to that goal as well. We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that is contributing to a solution.”

The UK government has now responded to the latest development, with a spokesperson telling Sky News that ministers are ‘absolutely committed’ to achieving piece in Ukraine.

“We remain absolutely committed to securing a lasting peace in Ukraine and are engaging with key allies in support of this effort,” a UK government spokesperson has said.

“It is the right thing to do, and is in our interest to do so.”

The spokesperson went on to reference the UK government’s recent decision to provide further military aid to Ukraine, which includes an annual £3 billion for ‘as long as it takes’ as well as releasing £2.26 billion from frozen Russian assets in the form of a loan.

Emphasising the support is to guarantee Ukraine will be in a position to negotiate peace with Russia, the spokesperson added: “In addition, we’ve set up a partnership with Ukraine that allows them to use £1.6 billion of UK export finance to buy 5,000 air defence missile manufactured in Belfast, putting Ukraine in the strongest possible position for peace.”

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has also addressed the shocking development in a new interview, telling BBC Radio 4 that the PM is ‘laser-focused’ on achieving peace.

“He’s laser-focused on getting peace. He won’t be derailed by announcements,” she said.

“He will continue that dialogue with our oldest and strongest ally, the US, and with European partners and with Ukraine.”

The US president’s decision to pause military aid will come as a huge blow to Ukraine, with former President Biden giving the Eastern European country $66.5 billion (£52.3 billion) since Russia invaded on 24 February 2022.

A report from The New York Times adds that $1 billion (£787.3 million) in arms and ammunition have now been withheld by the US, meaning that Ukraine will now have to negotiate with private contractors.

Bianca Censori is known for her ‘no clothes’ style

Bianca Censori has officially joined Instagram and marked the occasion by showing us every available inch of her flesh.

As the wife of infamous rapper and artist formally known as Kanye West – from here on referred to as Ye – Censori is no stranger to giving the public an eyeful with her outfits, which nearly always fail in the most basic principle of being clothes.

Most notably her uncensored and very NSFW display at this year’s Grammys, although for purposes of this article she is very much Bianca Censored.

Since the Grammys display, Censori has seemingly wasted no time in capitalising on the newfound attention and has now officially joined Instagram.

The Aussie model has posted two images on the account, both of which feature her naked body.

In her first official post, which hasn’t been co-shared by Ye, the 30-year-old is completely nude except for a pair of stiletto heels and a blonde wig. She is also holding one of her legs up to avoid falling foul of the social media platform’s community guidelines.

The polaroid image also appears to have been taken in a sparsely decorated room, with only cream carpet and a windy with net curtains visible.

Censori added no caption on the image, leaving followers to speculate about the possible meaning behind the post.

Although technically the first image shared by Censori herself, the image is the second one to feature on the account, with the model also sharing a collaborative poster for an upcoming film with her rapper husband. The poster again features a completely naked Censori, exposing her entire backside to the camera.

Censori recently made her film debut in an avant-garde project, which reportedly explores the topics of nudity and the female body. Shot in Japan, the feature film was produced by Vanessa Beecroft and produced by Ye.

The film screening follows weeks of speculation about the status of Ye and Censori’s relationship, with a representative for the rapper recently speaking out to rubbish swirling divorce rumours.

Following reports from Page Six that Censori had ‘had enough’ of her rapper husband sharing antisemitic rants on social media, as well as his decision to start selling swastika t-shirts on his website, and had decided to call it quits

“It reflects on her, and she doesn’t want any part of that circus,” they said.

Milo Yiannopoulos, who represents the couple, has since denied the rumours and issued the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter: “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together.

“Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumour in the tabloid press.

“Is this the fifth or is it the sixth time the press has wrongly reported that Ye and Bianca are separating? I’ve lost track.”

Millie Bobby Brown calls out 'bullying' of her appearance and claims she’s 'aging so badly'

Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown has criticised the media for writing negatively about her appearance

Millie Bobby Brown has issued an emotional message to followers on Instagram about negative press around her appearance.

The 21-year-old took to social media last night with a lengthy message to her 63.2 million followers, claiming that she has become a ‘target’ for online bullying, after some articles commented on her appearance during the press tour for her latest film, The Electric State.

Brown went as far as naming the journalists who wrote about her appearance, with the British actor holding back no punches in a scathing message to reporters.

The almost three-minute video on Instagram mentions how she’s been in the eye of the media since her breakout role on Stranger Things.

She prefaced the message by saying that the issue is ‘bigger than just me’, adding that it’s an issue that faces all young women in the public eye.

Describing the issue as ‘necessary’ to speak about, she explained: “I started in this industry when I was 10 years old. I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow with me.

“Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things Season 1. And because I don’t, I’m now a target,” the Damsel star claimed.

She went on to read out some of the headlines.

“Why are Gen Zers like Millie Bobby Brown ageing so badly?” reads one title, while another asks: “What has Millie Bobby Brown done to her face?”

Another headline reads: “Little Britain’s Matt Lucas takes savage swipe at Millie Bobby Brown’s new ‘mommy makeover’ look.”

Labelling the writing as ‘bullying’, she explained that it was ‘disturbing’ that adult writers took time to pick at her appearance, which could easily affect someone’s mental health.

“The fact that some of these articles are written by women? Even worse. We always talk about supporting and uplifting young women, but when the time comes, it seems easier to tear them down for clicks,” she pointed out.

Brown took a stance, refusing to apologise for growing up, and powerfully claiming: “I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself.”

She also added that it’s easier to be critical than pay a compliment in today’s society.

Concluding, Brown stated: “Let’s do better. Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing. Thank you.”

The actor was recently very honest about her unorthodox upbringing in an interview with Vanity Fair, admitting that she doesn’t ‘have many friends’.

“I didn’t go to school, so I don’t have the best social skills when it comes to people my own age and friendships. I struggle with that quite a bit. I missed out on a few things. But I’m working through them,” she explained.

Brown has also admitted in the past that she deleted social media in 2022 after being sexualised online for years, resulting in issues with her body image.

Dolly Parton pays heartbreaking tribute as husband Carl Dean dies aged 82 after 60 years of marriage

“Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.”

Dolly Parton has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her husband Carl Dean, who has died at the age of 82.

The ‘9 to 5’ singer had been married to the asphalt paver and businessman for nearly six decades, with the pair meeting just after an 18-year-old Parton moved to Nashville, Tennessee. The pair would date for two years before going on to tie the knot in 1966 in Ringgold, Georgia.

The statement, shared by the legendary country singer’s team on social media, confirmed that Dean had passed away on 3 March in Nashville and would be laid to rest in a private ceremony. No cause of death has been announced.

“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy,” the singer’s statement, shared via X read.

The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Despite Parton’s huge international fame as the ‘Queen of Country’, winning 11 Grammy Awards and having numerous number one albums, Dean kept a low profile throughout the years. The businessman’s decision to shun the spotlight would even lead to media speculation that Parton had made him up, with the singer telling Associated Press in 1984: “A lot of people say there’s no Carl Dean, that he’s just somebody I made up to keep other people off me.”

Despite Dean’s decision to keep a low profile, Parton did share small details about their relationship over the years, including the fact that they met outside a laundromat on her first day in Nashville as an aspiring country musician.

Reflecting on their first interaction, Parton would later recall how Dean was ‘genuinely interested’ in getting to know her.

“I was surprised and delighted that while he talked to me, he looked at my face (a rare thing for me),” she said of the meeting (via Time Magazine).

“He seemed to be genuinely interested in finding out who I was and what I was about.”

Parton would also reveal that Dean was the inspiration for her hit song ‘Jolene’, after a bank teller had reportedly developed a crush on him.

“She got this terrible crush on my husband,” Parton told US media in 2008 (via BBC).

“And he just loved going to the bank because she paid him so much attention. It was kinda like a running joke between us—when I was saying, ‘Hell, you’re spending a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we’ve got that kind of money.’

“So it’s really an innocent song all around, but sounds like a dreadful one.”

Parton and Dean had no children together, he is survived by his siblings Sandra and Donnie.

Everything that happens to your body when you stop eating meat for just a couple of weeks

Everything that happens to your body when you stop eating meat for just a couple of weeks

Everything that happens to your body when you stop eating meat for just a couple of weeks

An estimated one percent (79 million people) of the global population is vegan

As a meat eater, the thought of giving it up is something that I always think of.

Just by chatting with friends and family, it’s crossed all of our minds at least once.

However, with conflicting health benefits being reported, it’s hard to know what’s right for you.

Though it seems registered dieticians, health scientists, and neuroscientists certainly know more about this than a random influencer on TikTok.

So. without further ado, here are the known effects cutting out meat can have on your body.

Weight loss and heart benefits

The widely accepted weight loss method is if you burn more calories than you consume, you are creating something called a ‘calorie deficit,’ which means you are very likely to lose weight.

And by cutting out meat products, you might end up eating less calories.

This is because vegetables, legumes, whole grains are very high in fibre, and by eating fibre-rich foods, it’s basically supposed to fill you up faster.

“We end up just consuming more foods that are fewer calories,” Matthew Landry, a dietician and health scientist at the University of California, said in a report by National Geographic.

Some studies have also shown that veggie or vegan diets can lead to lower blood pressure, which decreases your risk of a heart attack.

Gut changes

A Stanford study has suggested that people who eat meat will possess a gut bacteria known as bilophila wadsworthia.

This bacteria has been linked to ‘disease-driving inflammation,’ which ‘can be very problematic to have in your gut microbiota at high abundance,’ study co-author, Matthew Carter, said.

Preliminary data suggests that ‘one way to help get rid of this microbe is to switch to a vegan diet’.

Immune health

According to a 2024 study, people who went on a two-week vegan diet developed higher activity in parts of the immune system, which helps fight off viruses.

“Collectively, this work demonstrates that in diverse participants two weeks of controlled dietary intervention is sufficient to significantly and divergently impact host immunity, which could have implications for precision nutritional interventions,” the authors said.

Healthy habits

Becoming a vegan could lead to other ‘healthier habits’, such as swapping out ultra processed foods like hot dogs, sweets, instant noodles, energy drinks, for minimally processed ‘whole foods’ like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy and healthy fats.

Downsides of giving up meat

Healthline reports that removing meat from your diet can lead to nutritional deficiencies if not properly managed.

For example, vitamin B12, which is predominantly found in animal products, is crucial for nerve function and red blood cell formation.

There’s also a chance of developing an inadequate intake of iron, calcium, zinc, and vitamin D, potentially affecting bone health and immune function.

Doctors issue five disease warnings to people who don’t exercise

Having regular exercise is enough to lower your chances of getting five brutal diseases that can seriously impact your health

Doctors have issued five separate health warnings to people who don’t exercise regularly, saying there is a serious risk if you don’t get active.

By now, we know the general health benefits that are associated with doing some form of exercise.

From playing football and rugby to going on a hike or running five kilometres, working out can help manage your weight and keep your muscles strong, lower the risk of disease, and even increase cardiovascular health.

“Whatever your age, there’s strong scientific evidence that being physically active can help you lead a healthier and happier life,” the NHS says.

So it really should come as no surprise that those who aren’t moving put themselves at risk of serious problems later on in life.

Well, a new study has shone a light on why not doing any kind of exercise can leave you open to five serious health conditions that you would want to avoid, if possible.

Published by the American Academy of Neurology in late February, the report looked at people who get moderate to vigorous physical activity on a regular basis.

And its findings? Not good if you don’t work out.

Set to be presented at the American Academy of Neurology’s 77th Annual Meeting taking place from 5 to 9 April in San Diego, the study shows that you likely to develop dementia, stroke, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders if you get up and take part in exercise or any kind.

The study also found that the more time people spent sitting, the more likely they were to develop one of these diseases.

Study author Jia-Yi Wu, MD, of Fudan University in Shanghai, China, explained: “This research highlights the role of physical activity and sedentary behaviour as modifiable factors that may enhance brain health and reduce the incidence of these diseases.

“It is promising to think that encouraging people to make these lifestyle changes could potentially lessen the burden of these diseases in the future.”

Researchers looked at data from 73,411 people in the United Kingdom with an average age of 56 who wore accelerometer devices continuously for seven days to measure their physical activity, how much energy they used on their activities, and how much time they spent sitting each day.

Metabolic equivalents, or METs, were used to quantify energy expenditure. Moderate to vigorous physical activity was defined as activities with an energy expenditure of at least three METs, where walking or cleaning was three METs and more intense exercise like cycling could be around six METs, depending on speed.

People who had moderate to vigorous physical activity energy expenditure were 14 percent to 40 percent less likely to develop the five diseases than those who had lower energy expenditure, depending on how active they were.

The people who did not develop any of the diseases had an average daily moderate to vigorous physical activity energy expenditure of 1.22 kilojoules per kilogram, compared to 0.85 for the people who developed dementia, 0.95 for those who developed sleep disorders, 1.02 for stroke, 1.08 for depression and 1.10 for anxiety.

The more time people spent sitting, the higher their risk of developing one of the diseases, with the increase ranging from five percent to 54 percent higher than those who spent the least amount of time sitting.

“Some previous studies have relied on people reporting on their own levels of activity,” Wu said.

“With our large number of participants and the use of devices that provide objective measurements of activity levels, these results will have implications for assessing risk factors and developing interventions to prevent the development of these diseases.”

A limitation of the study was that 96 percent of the participants were white people, so the results may not apply to other groups.

With Gabriel Macht returning as Harvey Specter for the LA-based spin-off which aired its first episode Sunday, talk has already turned to which other characters from the hit show are set to come back.

Two of the show’s main characters, Michael Ross (Patrick J Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), left the series at the end of season seven after getting married to one another.

While Adams returned for a few appearances after this, that was Markle’s last time acting. With the series set in LA, where Markle is from, many will be wondering if she is set to return to the Suits universe.

Markle and the show’s creator Aaron Korsh have both been very open about the fact that she left the show due to her engagement to Prince Harry.

She said in an interview after leaving the show: “I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right?

“Keep in mind, I’ve been working on [Suits] for seven years. We were very, very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series. I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team.”

Korsh was honest in saying that Markle had been written out of the show a year prior to her announcement she was leaving, with the writers banking on the success of her relationship with Prince Harry.

Korsh said in an interview with People magazine: “We have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor.

“I think, for me, that’s a little … my brain blows up at the thought of that.

“Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”

He went on to say that, if she came back, it would be together with Adams’ Mike Ross.

The new show is led by Stephen Amell, who plays former prosecutor Ted Black.

While Amell never shared the screen with Markle on Suits, he did say of the possibility of her appearing: “You never say never—people come back—you never know.

“She’s always welcome, of course she’s always welcome.”

Macht meanwhile was similarly open to it, saying: “I see any of the characters in the original show having an opportunity for doing what they do best to share their talents.”

Patrick J Adams was also not against it, saying: “I think Meghan is a fantastic actress. We’d be lucky to have her back in the industry.

“Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to LA, they gotta fix some stuff.

“If we got the phone call, if I got the phone call, I’m ready to suit up again. I love the show, I love the character and I loved working with all these people.”

The last Markle spoke about returning to acting at all, let alone Suits, was in 2022 in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Though the actor said you can never say never, she did state that there were no plans for her to return.

She said: “I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018. I didn’t think I’d ever be in the entertainment industry again.

“But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things. The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the ‘90s – where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment – that doesn’t happen anymore.”
