Is Rosé (BLACKPINK) in love with handsome Cha Eun Woo?

Rosé’s ( BLACKPINK ) love life attracted attention when the female singer said that she brought her own stories to the album Rose, which will be released in December. Notably, in the 6 tracks that Rosé revealed via livestream, all were written about her toxic and painful love story. Therefore, many viewers wondered if Rosé was currently in a relationship or not.

Recently, appearing on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane, Rosé attracted attention when revealing her relationship status. When hearing an audience member confide that they were worried about themselves because their friends were all married, the BLACKPINK member shared, “I wonder why getting married and having a house is the standard of happiness. Many people have bad experiences in love. For me, I feel very happy; life is still fine even though I’m single.”  With the above sharing, Rosé officially confirmed that she is not in a relationship with anyone. Therefore, fans hope that netizens do not pair up or spread rumors that their idols are dating.

Over the past time, Rosé has been suspected of secretly dating handsome guy Cha Eun Woo for 3 years. According to a source from KoreaBoo, the two stars started dating in 2021. They have revealed their “lovestagram” and hung out together many times. The ASTRO male god even traveled all the way to the United States to support his rumored girlfriend at the world’s largest music festival, Coachella, in 2023.

On September 5, the suspicion that the two stars born in 1997 were dating once again exploded on social media. On their personal Instagrams, Cha Eun Woo and Rosé both posted photos of themselves attending an exhibition and taking photos with a work of art. Netizens questioned the two’s true relationship, claiming that Cha Eun Woo and Rosé were openly dating. However, so far, neither Rosé nor Cha Eun Woo have spoken out about the love rumor that has stirred up social media.

Last April, Cha Eun Woo was said to have flown to the United States to support Rosé at the world’s largest music festival, Coachella. The two idols also immersed themselves in the joyful atmosphere at the afterparty at Coachella. However, many viewers believe that the male idol born in 1997 came to the music festival to support the entire BLACKPINK group as a colleague, not to cheer for Rosé alone.

Before Cha Eun Woo, Rosé was rumored to be in a relationship with Suzy, Jung Kook, or Kang Dong Won. Rumors of Rosé and Suzy’s relationship broke out in 2020. Netizens discovered an unbelievable coincidence in Rosé and Suzy’s Instagram posts in 2019. From pictures of a supposed trip together, checking in at the same location, wearing couple items… all made some fans believe that the two were dating.

After that, netizens were abuzz with suspicions that Kang Dong Won and Rosé were in love. The two famous Korean stars were “spotted” many times wearing similar outfits and accessories and appearing at events together. In addition, the BLACKPINK member was also suspected of having a short relationship with Jung Kook (BTS).

Tesla driver leaves people shocked after breaking down his electricity bill after installing charger on his 120-year-old house

Here’s how installing a home charger and fuelling your Tesla from there impacts your electricity bills

The cost of home charging your Tesla has been broken down by a YouTuber and the results might surprise you.

There’s varying debates online about just how cost efficient Teslas are – while the vehicles come with a hefty upfront cost their electric-powered capabilities are thought to save a lot in the long run.

And YouTuber Alex Sibila has since revealed just how much it’s cost to charge his Tesla after installing a home charging point in his old house.

Tesla Cybertruck owner breaks his own finger trying to prove vehicle is safe
First off, Sibila takes a look at his utility bill at ‘face value’ explaining it has a flat fee of $22 which you have to pay per month no matter what – even if you use solar powering.

On top of that comes the distribution and generation and transmission charge, with Sibila’s utility bill coming to a total of $281.00.

“These costs do vary month-to-month,” Sibila explains, however, looking at this month’s specifically, he notes he used a total of 2,108 kWh.

Sibila then hones in on the ‘first full month of charging the car at home’ in December 2022, revealing 69 percent of the total charging of the vehicle was done at home which saw 740 kWh charged.

But how much did this cost?

Well, the YouTuber reveals it set him back $75.50 which he adds ‘accounted for about 30 percent of our home’s electricity usage for December’.

In January 2023, Sibila explains 100 per cent of the vehicle’s charging was done at home that month.

And this saw 499 kWh used totaling $58.11, accounting for ’16 percent’ of the house’s total electricity bill for that month.

The next month saw 86 percent of charging of the car done at home, totaling 481 kWh and $55.79 – 18 per cent of the total bill.

The YouTuber goes on to break the figures down all the way until August before coming in with some averages.

Around ’90 per cent of charging was done at home’ which Sibila says was ‘consistent’ with what he had been told by other Tesla owners.

“We don’t travel a ton, but we do take trips every once in a while,” he noted.

An average month saw 559 kWh used which cost an average of $66.23 which accounted for an average of 24 per cent of the home’s overall electricity bill.

Obviously, this depends on whereabouts you live and the cost of electricity near you too.

And it’s not taken long for social media users to weigh in.

One YouTube user said: “55 to 78 dollars a month compared to 30 to 50 dollars of gas to fill up a mid size car every single time. Is pretty good. You’re actually saving a lot of money.”

“California just raised rates around $.54 per kwh off peak and $.64 per kwh peak. I’m keeping my Toyota Hybrid,” another added.

A third commented: “I’d also encourage people who are EV curious to look at their utility’s website to see if there are cheaper off-peak programs. Our overnight cost is half of our daytime cost.”

Elliot Eastman has been presumed dead after he was shot and dumped into the sea amid a shocking ambush that occurred at his home.

The YouTuber was abducted from Sibucom, which is located in the Zamboanga del Norte region of the Philippines back in October after four armed men broke into his home pretending to be police officers.

The 26-year-old was reportedly in the house with his Muslim Filipina wife Karisha Jala when they burst through the door around 10PM on October 17.

It is believed that Eastman was shot in the leg while trying to resist the gunmen and was taken away on a speedboat and dumped into the sea.

The local authorities started an investigation in the hopes that they would find Eastman alive. However, the operation allegedly resulted in clashes with armed kidnapping groups on the conflict-torn island of Mindanao, and eventually, the suspects were shot dead after they were embroiled in a gunfight.

Pictures taken from the crime scene also showed blood smeared all across the vinyl floors of the couple’s home.

Though the motive was not yet fully clear, the Daily Mail reported that former Sibuco mayor Norbideiri Edding said kidnappers may have targeted the American because they thought he was a rich foreigner and resented the fact that he was living with a local Muslim woman.

Speaking about the details of the incident, Lieutenant Colonel Ramoncelio Sawan, the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula acting spokesman, said: “Sometime late October, during our investigation, we encountered one witness who claimed Eastman had been shot during the abduction.

“On their way to escape by sea, the abductors noticed that Elliot Eastman was already dead. They threw his body into the water,” he continued before noting that officials initially branded this as “speculation” until they received more evidence of the crime.

“But then later on, sometime in November, we caught a suspect linked to the kidnapping. He himself confirmed what happened. He confirmed Elliot had been shot and that the man was dumped overboard,” he added.

Because of this, the authorities were able to execute an “extrajudicial confession” before submitting it to the Prosecutor’s Office where they filed a complaint.

Shortly before his death, Eastman allegedly stated that he was afraid of living in the area, where he had been for about five months.

“As long as I’m here, my life is still at risk, you know,” the YouTuber said during a Facebook Livestream on September 22. “That’s the reality. especially the area that I’m in… It’s not even just the Philippines. This area that I’m in is like the most dangerous area in the country so it’s literally like the red zone.”

Eastman’s family has been informed of the incident and the ongoing investigation through the US Embassy, a police spokesman added per the outlet.

Kobayashi, who initially went missing back on November 11, had traveled to Los Angeles from Maui, Hawaii on November 8 on her way to New York City, but didn’t ever get on her connecting flight.

The authorities gave details on a timeline of the 31-year-old’s whereabouts, noting that in the days following her getting off the plane at Los Angeles International Airport, she was seen at a Taschen bookstore in The Grove shopping center where she made two Venmo transactions to unidentified recipients.

The next day on November 10, she captured in a YouTube video at a Nike event at The Grove and posted a photo from the event on Instagram.

However, the following day, Kobayashi sent two seemingly distressed texts to her mother and a friend, claiming she was deceived and financially exploited by ‘Deep Hackers.’ She was seen on surveillance footage with a stranger while looking panicked.

Shortly after, the authorities sent out a missing person alert, and a search started for Kobayashi. Two weeks after her disappearance, her father Ryan Kobayashi died in an apparent suicide after his body was discovered at a parking lot in LA.

In a recent update, it was confirmed that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) footage captured Kobayashi crossing the U.S.-Mexico border on foot near Tijuana on November 12 at approximately 12:15PM, as per the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

“She was alone, with her luggage, and appeared unharmed,” LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell stated during a press conference streamed by ABC 7.

“At this time, Kobayashi’s case has been classified as a voluntary missing person,” he added as well as noting that there is no evidence to suggest foul play or that Kobayashi has been a victim of trafficking.

Since then, rumors have been swirling whether the 31-year-old has been involved in a “secret marriage.”

However, her family has released a statement via their attorney stating that they do not have the correct documents to verify this claim.

In a lengthy statement from their attorney, Kobayashi’s family said in part: “We want to stress that the family has not publicly announced any information regarding an alleged marriage because we did not have the facts or the necessary documents to verify the legitimacy of this information.

“The family has not confirmed the authenticity of the images or the accuracy of the information provided about a possible secret marriage.”

The family is continuing to investigate leads with help from an attorney and investigative team, the statement said.

“We would also like to confirm that we turned over the alleged information to law enforcement immediately upon receipt,” they said, according to ABC 7 News.

Model slammed for dancing next to her elderly boyfriend’s hospital bed: ‘I got on the will’

A model has been slammed for dancing next to her elderly boyfriend’s hospital bed.

Bronwin Aurora took to TikTok in a video that has become a hot talking point online after it showed her dancing by her alleged senior boyfriend’s hospital bed while he lay there in a surgical gown just watching her.

Alongside the seven-second clip was a caption that read: “Guys I got on the will, should I pull the plug?” as she frolicked about just inches away from the 85-year-old.

The video was reposted to other social media platforms including X where it was viewed over 1.2 million times after it was reposted by the popular TikTok news account, Libs of TikTok.

“This is what TikTok does to people,” they wrote.

And of course, a lot of people had their own opinions about it all.

“Properly unhinged behavior,” wrote one person to which the account responded back with: “I hope he removes her from the will.”

“If any of this family sees this, they need to immediately take her off the will and rebuke her in front of everyone publicly during the reading of the will,” another added.

“That is horrible!” a third said.

And this person was also less than impressed, adding: “Hopefully the guy had enough energy left to reach the phone and ring up his estate attorney after witnessing this trash.”

Others questioned the authenticity of the video, with this X-user stating: “I want to believe somebody added that text afterwards out of malice towards her. But I still can’t get over her doing a dance in front of that old man and then posting it. That young lady looks like a lost soul.”

Another clip posted by the Toronto-based model in the same hospital room showed her kneeling over and kissing her elderly boyfriend’s hand before jumping up and dancing to Odetari’s song ‘Keep Up’ with lyrics that state “Keep up, I’m too fast, I’m too fast, push my foot up on that pedal, then I’m gone G-g-g-gone, gone, gone.”

The Daily Mail confirmed that these videos are supposed to be a joke, poking fun at the couple’s alleged massive age gap as well as the hate they tend to receive.

Aurora frequently posts videos of herself to her TikTok and Instagram accounts dancing in front of her boyfriend, who uses a cane while he’s dancing and of course, they naturally get comments about the potential reasons that they are together.

Some believe it has to do with money or inheritance, while others seemingly think it’s a little strange to be dating anyone with a 60+ age gap.

The letter was posted by Mayor of Orting Josh Penner

A letter sent by a health insurance company denying a request for a child’s wheelchair has gone viral amid outrage over the state of US health care.

Josh Penner, the Mayor of Orting, shared a picture of the letter on X on Thursday (5 December) sent from UnitedHealthcare. He claimed the multinational health insurance company ‘repeatedly denied’ his son a wheelchair.

The letter was sent in 2022 regarding Penner’s son Luke. A request from Olympic Pharmacy & Healthcare Services asked for a ‘group three power wheelchair with features’, which have advanced qualities.

However, this was denied and a ‘simpler’ group two power wheelchair was suggested instead.

“Based on review of the information provided, the request for an advanced group three (3) power wheelchair with features was denied on 12/2/2022,” the letter states.

“The reason for the denial is: Your child’s doctor asked for an advanced group three power wheelchair with features. These are requested to help your child’s mobility. This is because your child has cerebral palsy. This is a condition that can cause muscle weakness. We reviewed your child’s health plan rules. If a wheelchair is not approved, its features cannot be approved.”

The letter says the request can only be approved if the child’s records show, ‘a simpler wheelchair is not available to help with your child’s mobility’ and ‘a simpler wheelchair cannot meet your child’s needs’.

According to the letter, UnitedHealthcare reviewed the child’s records and said they showed, ‘a simpler wheelchair is available to help with your child’s mobility’ and ‘a simpler wheelchair can meet your child’s needs.’

It is unclear how many requests were made and denied for an advanced group three wheelchair. The letter, however, concludes: “Unfortunately, this request is not approved. It is not medically necessary. A simple group two (2) power wheelchair may be asked to be reviewed. Please speak with your child’s doctor if you have any questions.”

Penner posted alongside a picture of the letter: “TBT to when @UHC #UnitedHealthcare repeatedly denied my son’s wheelchair.”

He also responded to fellow X users who expressed concern.

“We are very fortunate now to have other means,” he said in response to a follower. “But at the time it was depressing and demoralizing – and frankly not right! I surely didn’t expect the post to go viral, but did want to make sure people knew this sort of behavior is common enough with this company.”

Another commenter said: “This letter is the epitome of everything that is wrong with our broken healthcare system!”

The letter was shared following the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s Brian Thompson, the CEO of the group’s insurance division this week.

Iceland issues new ‘license to kill’ over 400 fin and minke whales per year in controversial move

Iceland’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture approved three licenses to hunt up to 426 minke and fin whales every year for the next 5 years

Warning: This article contains graphic images of whale hunting which some readers may find distressing.

Iceland’s Minister of Food and Agriculture has issued fishing permits allowing people to hunt fin and minke whales for five years.

The Minister of Food and Agriculture received four applications for the fishing of the two types of whale.

And it has since been revealed in an update issued on December 5 that it’s granted the permits ‘in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 26/1949 on whaling’.

The licences

The license for fin whales was given to the largest Icelandic commercial whaling company, Hvalur hf, and the license for minke whales was given to a trawler owned by Tjaldtangi ehf.

The ‘fishing permit’ does what it says on the tin really, allowing the companies involved to take to the seas and hunt and kill whales.

Although, the Minister of Food and Agriculture notes the permits do come with a series of conditions which must be adhered to.

Terms and conditions

The government of Iceland’s website states it’s issued the permits based on assessments by the North Atlantic Marine Mammal Council (NAMMCO).

It argues a 2017 stock assessment found the number of fin whales has ‘been increasing steadily around Iceland since the start of whale counts in 1987’.

“The number in the last count (2015) was the highest since counts began. The best adjusted estimate for the entire count area of Iceland and the Faroe Islands in 2015 was 40,788 fin whales, of which 33,497 were in the East Greenland-Iceland stock area,” it adds.

The assessments subsequently advise on the maximum amount of whales allowed to be caught during the 2018-2025 period, the NAMMCO stating it shouldn’t ‘exceed 161 animals in the East Greenland/West Iceland fishing area and a maximum of 48 fin whales in the East Iceland/Faroe Islands area’.

And for minke whales?

Fin whales and minke whales will now be hunted for five years (Sergei Gapon/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)

Well, The Marine Research Institute ‘also recommends that the annual catch of minke whales in the years 2018–2025 should not exceed 217 animals’.

“In 2018, six minke whales were caught off Iceland and in 2021, one minke whale was caught. No minke whales were caught in 2024, in 2022, 148 animals were caught after a three-year fishing break, and 24 animals were caught in 2023,” it adds.

Altogether, this means up to 426 whales are allowed to be caught every year for the next five years.

The release argues: “The management of the exploitation of living marine resources in Iceland is under strict constraints and the total allowable catch of fin whales and minke whales shall follow the fisheries advice of the Marine Research Institute based on sustainable exploitation and the precautionary approach.”

It notes ‘only fin whales and minke whales are permitted to be hunted off Iceland, while other whale populations are protected’.

The website says that the licenses are granted for five years, adding: “The licenses are extended annually by one year and up to 20% of each year’s fishing quota may be carried over to the following year.”

However, the move has been met with fierce backlash from animal conservationist groups.

Backlash

Director of Marine Conservation Programmes at the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Sharon Livermore, said in a statement to IFLScience that Iceland has subsequently issued ‘a license to kill’.

She continued: “The few wealthy whalers of the country continue to exert their influence even in the dying hours of this interim government.

“This government should simply be holding the fort, but instead it has made a highly controversial and rushed decision – a five-year license for both fin and minke whales is a disaster for whales and a disaster for conservation.”

Killer whales learn to mimic humans

Drawing on studies showing that ‘whaling is inherently cruel,’ Livermore resolved: “There is simply no ethical way to kill a whale at sea.”

Posting to TikTok, Gerald Johnson told his 75,000 followers how it felt to have visited one place none of us want to end up back in 2016.

He reveals that, after suffering a heart attack, his “spirit left his physical body” and he went to hell. The destination came as quite a surprise to the pastor, as he claimed to have “done so much good in the world and helped so many people”.

During the five-minute video, the pastor went into detail about the things he saw, adding that he “wouldn’t wish it on any other man”.

“One of the things I saw that just blew me away was a man on all fours like a dog, he was burnt from the crown of his head to the souls of his feet,” he said. “He had a chain around his neck, it was a demon holding the chain. I knew that this demon was sent in this man’s life to ride him from his childhood to the time that he died.”

He then went on to outline some other very specific details, one of them involving 36-year-old singer and Fenty Beauty owner, Rihanna.

“It just blew me away, it still baffles me to this day,” Johnson continued. “There was a section in Hell where music was playing. It was the same music we hear on the Earth, but opposed to entertainers singing it, demons were singing it.

“While up here, you can listen to music to get over a breakup like ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ [by Bobby McFerrin] or ‘Umbrella’ [by Rihanna], but down there every lyric to every song is to torment you.”

The pastor explained that this should be a stern warning for those who enjoy chart-topping pop songs as opposed to hymns and prayers.

Elsewhere in his recollection, he also explained how he got out of the “hole”

“I lifted up out of hell and I came back on the Earth and god began to speak to me – I actually saw the real Jesus,” he said. “He began to speak to me, and he said ‘you have been secretly upset with the people that hurt you, you have been hoping that I would punish the people who have hurt you.'”

He then went on to claim that God told him that he only wants him to focus on his own “assignment” – whatever that may mean.

“‘These are not your people these are my people, I only want you to focus on the assignment that I am giving you.'”

“Although I did good,” he continued. “The thing that I had in my heart was unforgiveness to people who have done me wrong.

The video has since been viewed 4 million times and had amassed over 12,000 comments, before comments were disabled. The audio has also been muted on TikTok, but is still available on Instagram.

“Wow the music part is wild,” wrote one user prior to the comments being disabled.

“Lucifer was once the angel of music wasn’t he? I believe every word you spoke. Music is hypnotizing without a doubt, it’s time for me to take a step back on listening to some of the genres I listen to,” added another.

A third said the message was an important one for musicians: “The message on music was very important for need to hear as a musician.”

And another user commented that they also “had an addiction to secular music,” adding: “…And some time ago I had a dream that I was in hell hearing that music and it was the most terrifying thing ever.”

Johnson did share a follow-up video answering some of the biggest questions he received since making his revelation, which can be seen below:

I don’t know whether Rihanna will be happy or sad about the fact that her music is that good that even demons in hell are doing their own renditions of it… Big yikes.

Nicole Kidman says she had to pause filming new erotic film as she ‘didn’t want to org*sm anymore’

Nicole Kidman has admitted that things got a little steamy while filming her new erotic drama that she had to temporarily pause production.

The 57-year-old actress stars in the forthcoming A24 film, Babygirl, opposite Iron Claw actor, Harris Dickinson.

The risqué flick sees Kidman take on the role of Romy, a married ambitious tech CEO who begins an intense affair with Samuel (Dickinson), an intern at the high-profile company.

The movie, which is directed by Halina Reijn, explores power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting through the passionate relationship between Romy and Samuel.

So of course, there are many sexual scenes between the main characters, as well as Kidman and her husband in the film, played by Antonio Banderas, 64.

According to The Sun, this meant many days of filming led to an overwhelming amount of “touch” and “frustration” for the Oscar-winning actress.

“There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me,'” Kidman revealed. “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to org*sm anymore.'”

The actress, who has been married to country singer Keith Urban for 18 years, shared that sometimes she would feel drained by the process: “Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!”

“I’m over it…It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout,” she added.

Babygirl’s early premiere at Venice earned Kidman the Volpi Cup for best actress.

The Big Little Lies star shared in a recent Q&A that participating in a movie of this movie was new territory for her.

“There’s a sort of a jump off the cliff thing where you go, okay, I’m just going to abandon everything and explore this with the people that I trust in a genre that is already set, but hopefully we can explore new territory and especially with the female at the helm,” she shared, cited by PEOPLE.

She explained that trusting the filmmaker to keep her and her co-stars safe was important to the shooting process: “You have your director at the helm going, ‘I will protect you. Nothing that’s going to be in the film will be anything that you are not comfortable with. You are going to be okay.'”

Kidman also revealed that she and Dickinson had an “enormous amount of trust” in each other. The 28-year-old elaborated on this, saying: “Of course, there were days where I would go in really terrified of a scene or I don’t know how I’m going to do this.”

“There was never a day that if the scene wasn’t working or if we weren’t comfortable or we weren’t getting something, we never felt that time was more important. It was just like, ‘Okay, everyone go away for a second,'” he added.
