A Tesla driver has called upon Elon Musk on Twitter after a ‘crazy’ incident with his vehicle

A Tesla FSD V13 owner has called on Elon Musk after an ‘insane’ incident saw them forced to ‘run a red light’ to ‘save their own life’.

Ah it’s the question on many people’s minds: Will artificial intelligence (AI) make us or break us?

Well, unfortunately in this case, it would seem like it could end up being the latter, with a Tesla owner taking to Twitter to confront founder and CEO Elon Musk after being left ‘shaking’ following their experience inside their self-driving car.

Founder and CEO of AI startup Rabbit Inc, Jesse Lyu, took to Twitter on January 2 to share a recording taken from their FSD v.13.2.2 Tesla vehicle.

In the video, you can hear Lyu explaining: “Yeah so the autopilot is engaged waiting for the left turn.

“[…] You’re going to see something crazy. So here we go, it turns green and it’s making a turn, but it f**king turns into the train line right?

“[…] I got nowhere to go and you can tell from behind […] the train’s right here. It’s f**king right here. I’ve got nowhere to do. And it’s a red light.”

Lyu shared footage from his Tesla (Twitter/ @jessechenglyu)

Lyu shared footage from his Tesla (Twitter/ @jessechenglyu)

Forced to act fast, Lyu ‘disengaged autopilot’ and then ‘had to run a red light to get out of’ the train line because he ‘didn’t know where to go’.

“I’m just waiting for all these pedestrians to get out and I did that,” he continued. “I got nowhere to go, the train’s right behind me, this is crazy.”

The Tech CEO resolved: “I could’ve [been] killed because of this. I mean I’m very happy with the autopilot, but this one time, that’s scared the s**t out of me. That’s crazy. It’s insane. I was literally shaking. […] I had to run the red light to save my life.”

Some users were quick to question why Lyu didn’t intervene sooner before the vehicle made it onto the tracks.

However, another argued: “A lot of people seem to be reporting this, and yes the person should have intervened but at the same time, we need a fix for this asap. We do not want to see this with unsupervised self driving which WILL be rolled out this year.”

In a follow up tweet to the thread, Lyu added: “To all people saying that why i didn’t take over, i did. from my experience it’s really hard to predict how the FSD would turn the wheel during turns. (and during FSD turns you don’t keep your hand on the wheel) the previous FSD handles this turn correctly and i saw the wheel starts to turn so i disengaged immediately when i saw the radius is wrong.”

He explained this incident is ‘particularly tricky’ because he couldn’t back up nor […] make lane changes’ due to a fence being on his left and curb on the right with ‘single lane traffic’.

Lyu resolved: “My immediate reaction is to check if there’s a train approaching behind me and there is. so my only option is to drive forward and exit at the very next exit. not knowing for sure how this particular train will react, i figured i should move out of it regardless. i just hope tesla fix it and make improvements.”

Georgia was at the beach with her grandkids when they suddenly pointed toward a nearby café. Her heart skipped a beat as they shouted the words that would shatter her world. The couple in the café looked exactly like their parents who had died two years ago.

Grief changes you in ways you never expect. Some days, it’s a dull ache in your chest. Other days, it blindsides you like a sucker punch to the heart.

That summer morning in my kitchen, staring at an anonymous letter, I felt something entirely different. I think it was hope mixed with a little bit of terror.

My hands trembled as I read those five words again, “They’re not really gone.”

The crisp white paper felt like it was burning my fingers. I thought I’d been managing my grief, trying to create a stable life for my grandkids, Andy and Peter, after losing my daughter, Monica, and her husband, Stephen. But this note made me realize how wrong I was.

They got into an accident two years ago. I still remember how Andy and Peter kept asking me where their parents were and when they’d return.

It took me so many months to make them understand their mom and dad would never return. It broke my heart as I told them they’d have to manage things on their own now, and that I’d be there for them whenever they needed their parents.

After all the hard work I’d put in, I received this anonymous letter that claimed Monica and Stephan were still alive.

“They’re… not really gone?” I whispered to myself, sinking into my kitchen chair. “What kind of sick game is this?”

I had crumpled the paper and was about to throw it away when my phone buzzed.

It was my credit card company, alerting me to a charge on Monica’s old card. The one I’d kept active just to hold onto a piece of her.

“How is that even possible?” I whispered. “I’ve had this card for two years. How can someone use it when it’s been sitting in the drawer?”

I immediately called the bank’s customer support helpline.

“Hello, this is Billy speaking. How may I help you?” the customer service representative answered.

“Hi. I, uh, wanted to verify this recent transaction on my daughter’s card,” I said.

“Of course. May I have the first six and last four digits of the card number and your relationship to the account holder?” Billy asked.

I gave him the details, explaining, “I’m her mother. She… passed away two years ago, and I’ve been managing her remaining accounts.”

There was a pause on the line, and then Billy spoke carefully. “I’m very sorry to hear that, ma’am. I don’t see a transaction on this card. The one you’re talking about has been made using a virtual card linked to the account.”

“A virtual card?” I asked, frowning. “But I never linked one to this account. How can a virtual card be active when I have the physical card here?”

“Virtual cards are separate from the physical card, so they can continue to function independently unless deactivated. Would you like me to cancel the virtual card for you?” Billy asked gently.

“No, no,” I managed to speak. I didn’t want to cancel the card thinking Monica must’ve activated it when she was alive. “Please leave it active. Could you tell me when the virtual card was created?”

There was a pause as he checked. “It was activated a week before the date you mentioned your daughter passed.”

I felt a chill run down my spine. “Thank you, Billy. That’ll be all for now.”

Then, I called my closest friend Ella. I told her about the strange letter and the transaction on Monica’s card.

“That’s impossible,” Ella gasped. “Could it be a mistake?”

“It’s like someone wants me to believe Monica and Stephan are out there somewhere, just hiding. But why would they… why would anyone do that?”

The charge wasn’t large. It was just $23.50 at a local coffee shop. Part of me wanted to visit the shop and find out more about the transaction, but part of me was afraid I’d find out something I wasn’t supposed to know.

I thought I’d look into this matter on the weekend, but what happened on Saturday turned my world upside down.

Andy and Peter wanted to go to the beach on Saturday, so I took them there. Ella had agreed to meet us there to help me look after the kids.

The ocean breeze carried the salt spray as the children splashed in the shallow waves, their laughter echoing across the sand. It was the first time in ages I’d heard them so carefree.

Ella lounged on her beach towel beside me, both of us watching the kids play.

I was showing her the anonymous letter when I heard Andy shout.

“Grandma, look!” he grabbed Peter’s hand, pointing toward the beachfront café. “That’s our mom and dad!”

My heart stopped. There, barely thirty feet away, sat a woman with Monica’s dyed hair and graceful posture, leaning toward a man who could easily ihave been Stephan’s twin.

They were sharing a plate of fresh fruit.

“Please, watch them for a bit,” I said to Ella, urgency making my voice crack. She agreed without question, though concern filled her eyes.

“Don’t go anywhere,” I told the boys. “You can sunbathe here. Stay close to Ella, okay?”

The kids nodded and I turned toward the couple in the café.

My heart skipped a beat as they stood and walked down a narrow path lined with sea oats and wild roses. My feet moved of their own accord, following at a distance.

They walked close together, whispering, and occasionally laughing. The woman tucked her hair behind her ear exactly like Monica always had. The man had Stephan’s slight limp from his college football injury.

Then I heard them talk.

“It’s risky, but we had no choice, Emily,” the man said.

Emily? I thought. Why is he calling her Emily?

They turned down a shell-lined path toward a cottage covered in flowering grapevines.

“I know,” the woman sighed. “But I miss them… especially the boys.”

I gripped the wooden fence surrounding the cottage, my knuckles white.

It is you, I thought. But why… why would you do this?

Once they went inside the cottage, I pulled out my phone and dialed 911. The dispatcher listened patiently as I explained the impossible situation.

I stayed by the fence and listened for more proof. I couldn’t believe what was happening.

Finally, gathering every ounce of courage I possessed, I approached the cottage door and rang the doorbell.

For a moment, there was silence, then footsteps approached.

The door swung open, and there stood my daughter. Her face drained of color as she recognized me.

“Mom?” she gasped. “What… how did you find us?”

Before I could respond, Stephan appeared behind her. Then, the sound of approaching sirens filled the air.

“How could you?” My voice trembled with rage and grief. “How could you leave your own children behind? Do you have any idea what you put us through?”

The police cars pulled up, and two officers approached quickly but cautiously.

“I think we’ll need to ask some questions,” one said, looking between us. “This… this is not something we see every day.”

Monica and Stephan, who had changed their names to Emily and Anthony, spilled out their story in bits and pieces.

“It wasn’t supposed to be like this,” Monica said, her voice wavering. “We were… we were drowning, you know? The debts, the loan sharks… they kept coming, demanding more. We tried everything, but it just got worse.”

Stephan sighed. “They didn’t just want money. They were threatening us, and we didn’t want to drag the kids into the mess we created.”

Monica continued, tears trickling down her cheeks. “We thought if we left, we’d be giving the kids a better, more stable life. We thought they’d be better off without us. Leaving them behind was the hardest thing we ever did.”

They confessed that they had staged the accident to look like they’d fallen off a cliff into the river, hoping the police would soon stop searching and they’d be presumed dead.

They explained how they moved to another town to start fresh and had even changed their names.

“But I couldn’t stop thinking about my babies,” Monica admitted. “I needed to see them, so we rented this cottage for a week, just to be close to them.”

My heart broke as I listened to their story, but anger simmered beneath my sympathy. I couldn’t help but believe there had to be a better way to deal with the loan sharks.

Once they confessed everything, I texted Ella our location, and soon her car pulled up with Andy and Peter. The children burst out, and their faces lit up with joy as they recognized their parents.

“Mom! Dad!” they shouted, running toward their parents. “You’re here! We knew you’d come back!”

Monica looked at them and tears welled up in her eyes. She was meeting her kids after two years.

“Oh, my sweet boys… I missed you so much. I’m so sorry,” she said, hugging them.

I watched the scene unfold, whispering to myself, “But at what cost, Monica? What have you done?”

The police allowed the brief reunion before pulling Monica and Stephen aside. The senior officer turned to me with sympathy in his eyes.

“I’m sorry, ma’am, but they could face some serious charges here. They’ve broken a lot of laws.”

“And my grandchildren?” I asked, watching Andy and Peter’s confused faces as their parents were separated from them again. “How do I explain any of this to them? They’re just kids.”

“That’s something you’ll have to decide,” he said gently. “But the truth is bound to come out eventually.”

Later that night, after tucking the children into bed, I sat alone in my living room. The anonymous letter lay on the coffee table before me, its message now holding a different kind of weight.

I picked it up, reading those five words one more time, “They’re not really gone.”

I still didn’t know who had sent it, but they were right.

“I don’t know if I can protect the kids from the sadness,” I whispered to the quiet room, “but I’ll do whatever it takes to keep them safe.”

Now, I sometimes feel I shouldn’t have called the cops. Part of me thinks I could’ve let my daughter live the life she wanted, but part of me wanted her to realize what she did was wrong.

Do you think I did the right thing by calling the cops? What would you have done if you were in my place?

Nearly 200 footprints dating back 166 million years were uncovered in Oxfordshire, UK

A ‘dinosaur highway’ dating back millions of years has been discovered in the UK.

Researchers from the University of Birmingham and the University of Oxford, UK, have made an extremely rare discovery and unearthed almost 200 dinosaur tracks.

The tracks were located in an Oxfordshire quarry, where they’d been buried under mud.

It’s believed the footprints date back around 166 million years.

Making the revelation even more interesting and rare is that rather than there just being the odd footprint, researchers found continuous tracks which they’ve dubbed as a ‘dinosaur highway’.

In total, five trackways were uncovered.

The longest continuous track of footprints measured more than 150 meters in length, with four made by long-necked herbivorous dinosaurs called sauropods and most likely to be Cetiosaurus, an up to 18-meter-long cousin of the Diplodocus.

Another of the so-called highways is thought to have been created by the nine-meter-long carnivorous Megalosaurus.

Experts say the new discoveries will provide valuable insights into how the dinosaurs walked, the speeds they reached, how big they were, and if and how they interacted with each other.

Dr Duncan Murdock, an earth scientist at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History (OUMNH), said: “The preservation is so detailed that we can see how the mud was deformed as the dinosaurs’ feet squelched in and out.

“Along with other fossils like burrows, shells and plants we can bring to life the muddy lagoon environment the dinosaurs walked through.”

Professor Richard Butler, professor of palaeobiology at the University of Birmingham, added: “There is much more that we can learn from this site, which is an important part of our national Earth heritage.

“Our 3D models will allow researchers to continue to study and make accessible this fascinating piece of our past for generations to come.”

The new footprints led to other trackways that were discovered in the area in 1997.

Limestone quarrying revealed more than 40 sets of footprints at the time.

In the more recent case, researchers were called to the site because ‘unusual bumps’ were spotted by quarry worker Gary Johnson as he was stripping clay back with a digger to expose the floor.

“I was basically clearing the clay, and I hit a hump, and I thought it’s just an abnormality in the ground,” Johnson recalled to the BBC.

“I thought I’m the first person to see them,” he went on. “It was so surreal – a bit of a tingling moment, really.”

Terry Crews is a proud family man who has been married to his wife for more than three decades. The couple has a big family and will become empty nesters soon.

Broadcaster Hoda Kotb shared a portrait of Terry Crews and his family on her Instagram account recently. The journalist’s followers commented on the post, expressing admiration for Terry and his longtime wife, Rebecca King-Crews, for their enduring love.

The image shows Terry happily posing alongside his wife and kids donning matching maroon sweaters paired with jeans. Following the release of the video fans took to the comment section to praise the couple and their family.

“Perfect woman and husband,” wrote one user. Another penned, “What a beautiful family so blessed.” One person gushed, “They are a Very Sweet Couple!! He Truly Loves his Lady and vice versa!!” Meanwhile, someone else called Terry a role model, writing, “One of the best, if not, THE BEST male role models in Hollywood.”

The social media upload comes after Terry appeared on “Today with Hoda and Jenna” on June 10, 2024. He was joined by Rebecca, and together, they discussed his career success and family. The couple wed in July 1989 and have been married for thirty-five years.

They share four daughters, Tera, Azriel, Wynfrey, and Naomi, and son, Isaiah, who is the youngest. During the interview, Terry candidly talked about Rebecca’s selflessness, revealing she gave up her dreams so they could pursue theirs.

At the time, Rebecca was singing and acting but decided to put all of that on hold so they could all get a head start on what they wanted to do.

Now that Terry has attained success and the kids are all grown up and doing their own thing, Rebecca decided to start chasing her dreams again.

Reflecting on how much the kids have grown, Rebecca got emotional, sharing that their son is about to leave home for college. “It’s like the end of an era a little bit. But I’m so proud of all of them. They’re all just amazing people. Beautiful people. I’m proud of that,” said the doting mom.

Rebecca explained that giving up everything started with her first child. She chose to commit herself to motherhood instead of trying to balance everything else with her career.

The Michigan native later committed herself to marriage with Terry and decided to stay put. It was only ten years ago that she started to do her own thing again when their children got older. “So, I don’t regret it,” the mother of five admitted.

Terry recounted their early life together in a June 2015 interview, praising Rebecca for showing him how to be a good father. “I spent years being the ‘Fun Dad’ to my five children, but they always seemed to respect their mother more. It turns out that they needed more than just my love,” he expressed.

Terry has embraced fatherhood since he was twenty. The journey began in 1989 when he married Rebecca, who had a two-year-old daughter, Naomi. After meeting her at eighteen, they quickly formed a deep bond and chose to spend their lives together.

The couple, now grandparents to Naomi’s daughter, Miley Crews, support their children in any path they choose. Terry emphasized that true success lies in family, not career milestones.

“The movies and all the things I’ve done? They’re not my legacy. It’s really my son, and my daughters, and my family. That’s the legacy,” he said.

While Terry and Rebecca are proud to show off their family, their journey together has not been easy. They have gone through trials and tribulations yet they remain joined at the hip, supporting each other.

Being a person in show business is hard, so people applaud celebrity couples who can balance their careers and marriage altogether. Thankfully, Terry and Rebecca are one of those few couples. Although their union has not been smooth sailing, the lovebirds have overcome the many ups and downs they have faced.

Terry and Rebecca first crossed paths in the 80s. At the time, the latter had just become Miss Gary Indiana and went to Western Michigan University to pursue a music and theatre career, while Terry was a footballer at the same school.

According to Rebecca, it was not love at first sight. During an interview once, the actor’s wife explained that at the beginning, she and her husband were only friends, and it almost remained that way. She said, “He almost got stuck in the friend zone. He was a little too nice.”

However, after a while, the sparks began to fly, and the couple soon started dating. By 1990, Terry and Rebecca had exchanged wedding vows. That same year, they expanded their family with the arrival of their first child, Azriel.

Over thirty years later, the “America’s Got Talent” host and his wife are doting parents. Here are more details about their inspiring relationship.

Terry and Rebecca have gone through a lot over the time they have been together. From changes in careers to watching their kids grow up and losing their homes; to dealing with depression.

However, one difficulty that nearly tore their marriage apart was the former NFL player’s addiction to adult content. In a May 2021 interview, Terry made it known that being a celebrity made his addiction worse.

According to the “Everybody Hates Chris” star, success was the warmest place to hide, and Hollywood did not care. Terry noted that he battled the addiction in secret for the longest time, and it slowly ate him up.

He divulged, “It became a thing where I didn’t tell anybody. It was my secret, nobody knew, and that allowed it to grow, and it got bad. If day turns into night and you are still watching, you probably got a problem, and that was me. I didn’t tell my wife, didn’t tell my friends, nobody knew.”

But in 2010, he opened up to his wife about his addiction to adult content. Terry also had something else to come clean about — his infidelity.

Rebecca had already sensed that the actor was keeping secrets from her, but knowing what her husband had done was so heartbreaking that it nearly cost them their marriage.

She confronted Terry following the revelation and threatened to leave. At that point, the movie star knew he needed to get help so he made conscious efforts to save his marriage.

Terry promised Rebecca he would attend therapy and go to rehab for his addiction. Thankfully, his time in rehab was worth it, as it made him a changed man.

Years later, Terry would reveal that he was thankful for his decision, despite contrary advice from his friends. According to the icon, his single pals had advised him to quit his marriage, but in due time, he understood that their advice was from the point of jealousy.

After opting not to give up on their union, Terry and Rebecca, who are intentional parents thought of expanding their family. Despite already having a big family, the couple does not mind welcoming a sixth child through adoption.

Rebecca revealed in a 2016 interview that adoption was a topic she and Terry had discussed when they first married. According to her, it was something she always felt called to do, and he could not agree any less.

Terry noted that he had always felt they needed to be ready before adopting, but in the end, no one is “ever ready.” To the couple, they will have to go for it.

As long as they have each other, they can weather any storm, as they have always done in the past. Speaking of having each other’s backs, Terry could not be more grateful for having Rebecca as a wife.

She has been with him, even during his darkest times, and he feels blessed. Terry once shared that there was nothing like “having someone who knows you in and out, all the stuff, and loves you anyway.” Ultimately, considering everything they had been through together, he expressed that Rebecca was “his rock.”

Since Terry became a changed man, he has shown his spouse how much he loves, cares, and is willing to do anything for her. He again proved his love in 2020 when Rebecca was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy.

During that trying period, the TV star did everything possible to make life easier and better for his wife. Terry confessed that he had been the one washing Rebecca’s hair, taking care of her, making dinner, doing the laundry, and cleaning the house.

Despite how tedious it might have been, the actor said he was thankful for being able to do all that. According to him, what was most important to him was that Rebecca was alive.

Two years later, the former NFL player’s wife is still alive and is a hundred percent cancer-free. She and Terry are also happier and stronger than ever.

Seeing everything that the couple has been through, Rebecca is still thankful. She said her husband is different and sees him as the softer, gentler, and kinder version of himself.

The scene has resurfaced in the wake of Blake Lively’s legal action against her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni

Fans following the tense lawsuit battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have spotted what they claim is her husband making a dig at Baldoni in another movie.

Lively and Baldoni starred alongside one another in the another in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book It Ends With Us, with Baldoni also directing.

However, in December, Lively filed a lawsuit against her co-star, with the Gossip Girl actress accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and of instigating a ‘social manipulation’ campaign against her.

The lawsuit alleges various misconduct of a sexual nature and a toxic work environment shadowed over the set, which caused the mother-of-four to suffer ‘severe emotional distress’.

The 37-year-old also claimed Baldoni had attempted to add ‘improvised gratuitous sexual content and/or scenes involving nudity into the film’ as well as making comments about her appearance – with the complaint alleging that he had ‘cried for hours in her dressing room’ because she didn’t look ‘hot’.

A meeting was reportedly held between the co-stars while in the midst of filming, which was attended by various producers and Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.

But after filming, Lively’s legal action claims Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios then tried to ‘destroy’ her reputation through ‘social manipulation’ – using the same crisis communications team, headed by Melissa Nathan, that supported Johnny Depp in his infamous defamation trial with Amber Heard.

In response, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, slammed Lively’s claims as ‘intentionally salacious’ and criticized her move as ‘another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation’.

The lawyer made further accusations that Lively herself ‘threatened’ not to show up or promote the film and said the agency group was doing its job while ‘experiencing threats by two extremely powerful people’.

On New Year’s Eve, Lively filed a federal complaint, noting that her ‘decision to speak out has resulted in further retaliation and attacks’.

Lively previously lifted the lid on her legal action in the New York Times – which Baldoni is now suing for libel and false light invasion of privacy.

The messy spat has thrown a spotlight on Deadpool & Wolverine, as fans now believe Reynolds trolled Baldoni.

In the clip, Deadpool and Wolverine meet a Deadpool ‘variant’ named Nicepool – who has a man bun, a hairstyle Baldoni has had.

Nicepool then makes a comment about Ladypool, who is played by Lively, saying: “Oh my goodness, wait until you’ve seen Ladypool. She is gorgeous. She just had a baby too and [you] can’t even tell.”

Nicepool is played by Reynolds (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures)

The character, played by Reynolds, defends his offensive comment, saying: “That’s ok. I identify as a feminist.”

Baldoni has frequently identified as a feminist, from his TED talk in 2017, where he said he was ‘amplifying the voices of women around the world’, to an article in Romper where he said he was a ‘feminist dad’.

In another scene, Deadpool snaps at supervillain, Cassandra Nova saying ‘And where in God’s name is the intimacy coordinator?’

Reynolds not only wrote the Deadpool & Wolverine script but the movie only finished filming five months after he supported Lively in the It Ends With Us meeting.

Lively had also given birth to their fourth child just months before filming and had alleged Baldoni made comments body-shaming her and that there was ‘no intimacy coordinator’ on the filmset in her legal action.

Reynolds and Baldoni’s representatives have been contacted for comment.

From kids who pursued careers in the arts as chart-topping musicians and photographers to children who proved they inherited their father’s athleticism and can pack a punch, meet Mike Tyson’s six children.

While the world knows Mike Tyson as a boxing legend, to his six children, he’s simply Dad. Beyond the fame and controversy, his most meaningful legacy lies in his role as a father.

But his journey as a father hasn’t been without heartbreak. In 2009, Mike faced an unimaginable tragedy with the loss of his 4-year-old daughter. Despite this devastating chapter, his family continues to grow and thrive. Let’s take a closer look at the lives of his remarkable children.

A Tragic Loss

Mike Tyson, now 58, is a name synonymous with boxing greatness and controversy. Known for his ferocious fighting style, the icon’s career boasts an array of accolades, including being the youngest heavyweight champion in history.

However, he is equally remembered for the infamous 1997 ear-biting incident during a match with Evander Holyfield, a scandal that made global headlines.

Beyond his public persona, Mike has faced profound personal tragedy. In 2009, his 4-year-old daughter, Exodus Sierra Tyson, whom he shared with Sol Xochitl, passed away in a devastating accident at home. She became entangled in a treadmill cord, leading to her untimely death.

The boxer was so overwhelmed with grief that a clip showed him abruptly ending an interview shortly after her passing, explaining that the loss was too much for him to discuss.

Reacting to the video, one person shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Respect, wanted to reach out and give the man a hug That’s hard thing to go through [sic].” “That pain,” another person wrote.

A third added, “Bless him. He has always been a raw guy dealing with raw emotions and adversity. I’m glad he seems to be doing so much better now,” and a fourth typed, “Some things are just too painful to talk about.”

Years later, in 2023, he found the strength to open up about the tragedy during an episode of his podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” featuring guest Rick Ross. Reflecting on his grief, Mike shared, “You never recover, but you live with it.”

“You never recover, you just live with it.’ That one statement made me pause the video just to comment. The way it resonated so deep within me,” one person reacted to the clip.

In November 2024, during his headline-making exhibition fight against Logan Paul, Mike paid tribute to Exodus in a touching way. He stepped into the ring wearing black boxing trunks with her name stitched in white on the bottom front corner.

Despite this heartbreaking chapter, the boxer has found solace in his other children, who remain a source of love and strength for him. Their lives, each unique and vibrant, bring light into Mike’s world, helping him navigate the ongoing journey of grief and healing.

Miki Tyson

Michael “Miki” Lorna Tyson, 34 years old, is Mike’s eldest child, whom he shares with Kimberly Scarborough. Mike proudly celebrated his daughter’s achievements in music when she released her song “Love Me Again” in October 2024.

The boxer took to Instagram to share his excitement, writing, “My daughter @missmikityson’s new song. So proud. She’s an incredible writer and singer. Make sure you follow her page for more music,” the caption continued. The single quickly gained popularity, eventually reaching the number-one spot on the charts.
Ramsey Tyson

Ramsey Tyson, Mike’s 28-year-old child with Monica Turner, has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ issues as a transmasculine and nonbinary individual.

In 2020, they were instrumental in encouraging their father to confront rapper Boosie Badazz during an episode of “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” after Boosie made controversial comments about Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya.

Reflecting on their decision to educate Boosie, Ramsey shared, “Part of the reason why I wanted to talk to Boosie about it is because I’m a nonbinary person who’s socially transitioned amongst my friends and started a medical transition. I felt like I couldn’t not say something.”

They have also spoken about navigating being misgendered by their father in media coverage, saying, “He didn’t mean it maliciously. I’ve talked to him about gender identity briefly. It’s very sweet to say I inspired him in some way.” Ramsey continues to encourage others to amplify trans voices and educate themselves on these issues.

Amir Tyson

Amir Tyson, 27, born to Mike and Monica, has carved his own path as the owner of a successful clothing line. As an entrepreneur, he has turned his creativity into a thriving business, building a reputation that reflects his determination and his father’s pride.

In 2011, when Amir was just 13, Mike shared his hopes and concerns about his son, admitting, “He’s just nervous and afraid of life. But he’s doing so well…There are no bad influences. I have so many hopes for him.”

Miguel Tyson

Miguel Tyson, 22, also born to Mike and Sol, has pursued a creative career as a professional travel photographer and videographer based in Los Angeles. However, in 2018, his dad posted a video of himself teaching Miguel some boxing basics.

“He just started. Not trying to box, just trying to stay fit,” the caption read. While Miguel hasn’t followed in his father’s footsteps in the ring, his passion for capturing the world through a lens showcases his unique talents and love for adventure.

Milan Tyson

Milan Tyson, 15, was born to Mike and his wife Lakiha Spicer. She is a tennis player and entrepreneur who launched her activewear brand, Milan Miyla, in 2021. Her father has often expressed admiration for her strength and determination, revealing in a 2022 interview that his daughter can pack a punch.

In 2023, she attended the ESPY Awards with her father, where Mike reflected on how fatherhood has changed him, saying, “Hey, it’s about that time. I have a daughter. I can’t be who I used to be, you know? Things have to change.”

He also opened up about parenting in middle age, sharing, “My wife and kids think I’m good because now in my life with my children, I’m present. I’ve never been that way before in my life. Now that I have [children who are] 14 and 12, I’m just really present in their life.”

Morocco Elijah Tyson

Morocco Tyson, 15, is Mike’s youngest son whom he also shares with Lakiha. Morocco has showcased his athletic interests on social media, posting about playing tennis. Mike has also shared moments of bonding with Morocco, including a photo and other posts of them golfing together.

Reflecting on the dynamic between fathers and sons, he added, “There’s a part of us that we don’t want nobody to know, but it comes out in our children. We see things that we don’t like about ourselves and we try to check him on that so he won’t be like us.”

Mike Tyson’s journey as a father reflects both the depth of his resilience and the love he has for his children. Through tragedy and triumph, each of his children has brought unique light and purpose to his life.

The shoe brand increased the prices of its products by as much as 1,800 percent

A discount shoe brand successfully tricked people into thinking that its products were designer.

While I personally love a bargain, some people are more inclined to spend vast amounts of cash on things like sneakers.

Sneakers are a staple in anyone’s closet, with some of the rich and famous forking out eye-watering amounts of money on them.

Some of the most expensive sneakers ever sold were from what was dubbed as ‘The Dynasty Collection’ – a set of six individual Air Jordan sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during some of his most career-defining basketball games.

It’s thought they were sold for a staggering $8 million, says GQ.

Elsewhere, in 2022, a pair of Louis Vuitton and Nike Air Force One sneakers that had been designed by the late Virgil Abloh were sold for $352,800.

However, if you shop at stores like Payless, you’re much likely to pay less than 40 bucks for some shoes.

But some shoppers are put off by the shoe brand’s discounted prices, so Payless decided to do a social experiment.

Back in 2018, the company created a fake luxury store and temporarily rebranded to be ‘Palessi’.

It then invited a host of VIPs and fashion experts to the Los Angeles store opening and conducted interviews at the event.

A lot people who attended gushed about the quality of the products on the shelves, and said they’d be willing to pay north of $200 for them.

Little did they know that the shoes had been marked up as much as 1,800 percent, and that Payless staffers had simply put a fake Palessi sticker over the original logo.

Some shoppers were so convinced that they proceeded to buy the shoes at the dramatically inflated prices.

The store made $3,000 in sales before Payless came clean and revealed that it was all just a hoax.

Those who had paid were refunded and went on the receive the shoes they’d bought for free.

The whole thing went on to be part of a series of Payless commercials, as people’s reactions to learning that the shoes were from the fashion brand were caught on camera.

One person said after offering to pay as much as $500 for some sneakers: “Shut up! Are you serious?”

Another commented under a Youtube video uncovering the experiment: “Luxury brands are basically doing this ‘prank’ since forever.”

So, step aside Balenciaga and your $800 sneakers, there’s a new (affordable) footwear brand that’s taking over the show.

Elliot’s world shatters when he sees his estranged, pregnant daughter with his best friend, Joshua. Misunderstandings explode into accusations, and an accident leaves Joshua unconscious. As secrets unravel, Elliot faces the painful truth of his actions.

I always thought the silence would get easier. After all, wasn’t peace what I craved after Mia moved out?

No late-night arguments, no slammed doors, and no biting words she hurled like spears. But the quiet wasn’t peaceful. It was deafening.

The last argument replayed in my mind more often than I cared to admit. She had stood in the middle of the living room, her arms crossed, defiance written in every line of her posture.

“I’m not introducing my boyfriend to you, Dad,” she’d said, her voice like ice. “I’m 18! I don’t need your permission to date.”

“I’m your father,” I had snapped. “I have every right to know who you’re spending time with.”

“No, you don’t! You just want to control everything! That’s all you’ve ever done!” Her voice had cracked on the last word, but she didn’t back down. “I’m not a little girl anymore. I’m done letting you treat me like one.”

My response had been harsher than it should have been.

“Fine. Go ahead and act like an adult, Mia. But don’t expect to live in my house while you do it.”

Her eyes had gone wide, tears brimming but not falling. “If that’s how you feel,” she said quietly, “then I’ll leave.”

And she had. Just like that. The sound of the door slamming shut behind her was the loudest noise I had ever heard.

Something inside me broke when I realized she wasn’t coming back. It didn’t make sense. I’d done everything possible to keep her safe and ensure she would succeed in life… how could she be so ungrateful?

These thoughts haunted me as I walked past an open-air eatery near my office. So, when I first heard that familiar laugh, I thought I was imagining it. Then I heard it again.

I looked up and spotted her instantly. Mia was sitting in a booth inside the café, one hand resting on her rounded belly as she chuckled.

My breath hitched, and the world narrowed to that one undeniable detail: she was pregnant. My Mia, who used to climb trees and scrape her knees, was going to be a mother.

And sitting across from her, leaning in far too closely, was Joshua, my best friend for 20 years. Joshua, my confidant, who held my secrets and knew my fears.

Joshua, who had a wife and kids, who should’ve known better. My heart slammed against my ribs, and a roaring filled my ears, drowning out the café’s gentle hum.

Every unspoken fear, every piece of guilt I had buried over the past six months clawed its way to the surface. Without a second thought, I marched inside and stormed toward them, my steps fueled by anger and betrayal.

The small voice in the back of my mind whispered to slow down, to ask questions first, but I crushed it under the weight of my emotions.

“Elliot.” Joshua’s voice cracked, his face ashen when he saw me. Mia’s smile disappeared instantly, replaced by wide-eyed panic.

“What the hell is this?” I barked, pointing at them. My voice was louder than I realized, turning heads and drawing whispers. “Mia, you’re pregnant? And with him? God, is he the boyfriend you told me about? No wonder you didn’t want me to meet him!”

“Dad, stop,” Mia said, her cheeks flaming. She glanced around, visibly shrinking under the weight of the attention. “It’s not what it looks like—”

“Not what it looks like?” I cut her off, jabbing a finger toward Joshua.

“And you! What kind of betrayal is this, huh? Mia is my daughter, the girl you used to push on the swings… what the hell is wrong with you?”

“Elliot, calm down,” Joshua said, standing. He held up his hands in a gesture of surrender, but it only stoked my anger.

“Don’t tell me to calm down,” I spat. “You, of all people — you know how much I’ve sacrificed for her! And this is how you repay me?”

The café buzzed with murmurs now, an audience captivated by the unfolding spectacle. I barely noticed the whispers or the horrified look on Mia’s face. My focus was solely on Joshua, the man I thought had been my brother in everything but blood.

Mia rose from her seat, her face pale and trembling. “Dad, stop! You’re embarrassing yourself—”

“Embarrassing myself?” I snapped, turning to her. “Do you have any idea—”

The scrape of a chair interrupted me.

“Just let me explain…” Joshua stepped forward, but his foot caught on the chair leg.

His arms flailed as he stumbled backward, and time slowed to a sickening crawl. I reached out instinctively, too late. His head hit the floor with a crack that seemed to echo through the entire café.

“Joshua!” Mia’s scream jolted me out of my frozen stupor. She dropped to her knees beside him, her hands hovering over his head, unsure where to touch.

The entire café went silent as if the air had been sucked out of the room.

“Call an ambulance!” someone shouted, but Mia was already fumbling for her phone.

I stood there, paralyzed, staring at the man I had just accused of the worst kind of betrayal. Blood pooled beneath his head, stark against the pale tile.

My anger evaporated in an instant, replaced by a cold, crushing dread.

Hours later, I sat in a sterile hospital waiting room, Mia stiff beside me. Neither of us had spoken since the doctor told us we had to wait, that they couldn’t tell us anything because we weren’t family.

The tension was suffocating, a tangible wall between us. Finally, Mia broke the silence.

“You’ve got it all wrong,” she said, her voice trembling but defiant.

“Oh, do I?” I asked, the bitterness in my tone making her flinch.

“The baby isn’t his,” she said. “And he was never my boyfriend… God, I don’t know how you could even think that! I was dating a guy called Dylan when I left. This is his child.”

I blinked. “So, where’s this Dylan now?”

“He’s gone,” she said flatly.

“He didn’t want anything to do with me, or the baby when I told him.” Her gaze dropped to her hands, twisting anxiously in her lap. “Joshua found me crying on his doorstep. I had nowhere else to go.”

“And he took you in,” I said, my voice hollow.

“Yes.” She looked up at me, her eyes glossy with unshed tears.

“He’s been helping me. He gave me a place to stay and money for groceries. He even told me to talk to you, but I wasn’t ready. Not after how we left things.”

My chest ached. Every sharp word I’d thrown at her six months ago came rushing back. I had pushed her away, and she’d found comfort in the arms of someone I trusted. Not like that, though. I had been so wrong.

“Mia, why didn’t you come home?” I asked, my voice cracking.

“Because, Dad,” she said, a tear slipping down her cheek, “I didn’t think you’d let me live my life. I thought you’d try to control this too.”

I couldn’t argue. The worst part was, she was probably right.

When Joshua’s wife, Suzanne, arrived, she was frantic; her face pale.

“What happened?” she demanded, her voice shrill with worry.

I stammered out an explanation, but before I could finish, the doctor emerged.

“Ma’am,” he said, his tone grave, “your husband has a subdural hematoma. We need to perform surgery immediately to relieve the pressure on his brain.”

I heard the words but struggled to process them. Surgery. Brain. The implications were too much to grasp. Suzanne broke into sobs, clutching the doctor’s sleeve.

“What about the cost?” she asked through her tears. “We don’t have the savings for something like this.”

I froze. I knew what I had to do.

Hours later, I returned to the hospital with an envelope clutched in my hand. It was all the money I had scraped together: my savings, my emergency fund, and even the jar of loose change on my kitchen counter.

“Here,” I said, shoving it into Suzanne’s hands. “For the surgery.”

She stared at me, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. “Elliot, I can’t…”

“Yes, you can,” I said firmly.

“He’s my best friend. And he’s been more of a father to Mia than I’ve been lately. I owe him this.”

When the surgery was over, the doctor told us it was successful. Joshua would recover, but it would take time.

Relief washed over me, but it was tinged with guilt. I had almost destroyed the life of the man who had saved my daughter.

When Joshua woke, I was the first to apologize, the words tumbling out in a messy, tear-filled rush.

He smiled weakly and muttered, “Took you long enough.”

And Mia — my stubborn, strong-willed daughter — took my hand in hers.

“I’ll come home,” she said softly. “But only if you promise to try. To trust me. To… let me grow up.”

The screenwriter and director of ‘Life After Beth’ was found dead in his LA home by one of his assistants

Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing.

Director Jeff Baena, the husband of Aubrey Plaza, has been found dead in his home.

On Friday (January 3), the body of the 47-year-old was discovered by one of his assistants with emergency services arriving at around 10.30am to investigate his death after pronouncing him dead at the scene.

A representative of Plaza issued the following statement: “The family is devastated and asks for privacy at this difficult time.”

Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed Baena’s cause of death as being a suicide at his and Plaza’s Los Feliz property.

“Death was determined for an approximately 47-year old male, no transport,” Los Angeles Fire Department told the Daily Mail in a statement.

While Los Angeles Police Department added: “We responded to the 2100 block of Fern Dale Place for a death investigation. Officers responded for a male decedent.”

Baena, who was born in Miami, Florida, studied film at New York University before later moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career in Hollywood.

He has directed six films, the first being Life After Beth in 2014 which he wrote himself, in fact all of the films he’s directed he’s written the screenplay for.

The 2014 zombie comedy starred his wife Aubrey Plaza, who at the time he’d been dating for a few years.

In May 2021, Plaza revealed that the two had tied the knot as she referred to him as her husband in an Instagram post – with news finally breaking that the pair had a small wedding in 2020.

Her Instagram post read: “So proud of my darling husband @jeffbaena for dreaming up another film that takes us to italia to cause some more trouble, excited to be reunited with the amazing @alisonbrie (who also co-wrote this one!) and @theofficialsuperstar @sordociego @lauren_weedman and so many more fun people in this. Preparati!!”

The pair have worked together on numerous titles, including Cinema Toast, in which Plaza made her directorial debut.

“It was very hectic while we were making the show because we were quarantined and Jeff, he created the show; it was his idea,” Plaza told PEOPLE in 2021.

While cleaning my late father’s desk, I found a hidden drawer containing a letter addressed to me. His words were tender — until they revealed a shocking secret he’d carried for years, one that changed everything I thought I knew about my life.

The air in my father’s study was heavy, steeped in the musk of old books and faint whispers of his cologne. It had been three months since he passed, but I’d only now worked up the courage to clean out his study.

I dusted the shelves and rearranged a few things before approaching Dad’s mahogany desk. There were papers strewn across its surface like he’d just stepped out.

But I hadn’t come in here to dwell. I came to face the ghosts, to find a way to keep living without him. Still, my knees wobbled as I sank into his old leather chair, staring at the desk.

One by one, I began sorting through the drawers. It was all so painfully ordinary until I reached the narrow middle drawer spanning the central cavity. That drawer was locked.

I noticed the key lodged neatly in the desk organizer. My pulse quickened as I reached for it. I felt like a naughty kid again.

The lock clicked open as if it had been waiting for me. Inside were several slim folders and envelopes, but one stood out immediately. Right at the front was an envelope bearing my name in my dad’s handwriting: “For my Kate.”

Dad had written me a letter… but why didn’t he send it?

My hands trembled as I held the envelope. The words blurred before my eyes as I carefully opened it, letting the folded pages fall into my lap.

“Dear Kate,

If you’re reading this, it means I’ve found the courage to tell you the truth. I hope you’ll forgive me for all the things I didn’t say when I had the chance…”

His voice was alive in those lines, soft and familiar. The way he wrote about his childhood, meeting my mom, and the fierce pride he felt watching me grow.

Each sentence drew me closer to him. Then, my eyes caught a line that made my stomach twist.

“There’s one thing I never told you… When you were a baby, your biological mother made the ultimate sacrifice to give you a better life. We adopted you, and it was the best decision we ever made.”

The words hit like a fist to my chest. Adopted?

The word didn’t even make sense when paired with me. Adopted? It felt impossible, wrong, like trying to fit into someone else’s shoes.

I read the sentence again, hoping this was some cruel, misplaced joke. But it wasn’t. Dad had kept this from me. Why?

A shadow flickered at the edge of my vision, but it was only my reflection in the study’s glass display. My face, pale and tight, seemed foreign, unrecognizable. Whose face was it, really?

The letter wasn’t done.

“I hope you’ll find it in your heart to forgive us. There’s a second letter in this drawer, one that your birth mother wrote to you when you were born. I’ve kept it all these years for you to read when you were ready.”

My trembling fingers found it easily, but I couldn’t open it. I just couldn’t. Not now. Instead, I clutched the envelope to my chest, sinking to the floor like my legs had lost their strength.

The study seemed to close in around me, the walls heavy with memories of a life that suddenly felt unsteady, cracked at its foundation.

I reread Dad’s letter twice before my breathing returned to something like normal. Every memory I had (scraped knees he’d patched up, bedtime stories he’d told me, the way he’d taught me to ride a bike) rose in vivid flashes, colliding with the impossible truth.

Did those moments mean less now? Were they built on a lie? The thought constricted my throat, a painful pressure that wouldn’t ease.

I stared at the second letter in my hands, my knuckles white around its edges.

“Okay,” I murmured, my voice barely a whisper. “Okay, okay.” The words felt hollow, meaningless. Still, I peeled the envelope open with trembling fingers and unfolded the pages inside.

Her voice, raw and haunting, spilled out before me:

“I held you once, and it was the hardest thing to let you go. But I knew I couldn’t give you the life you deserved. I chose your parents because I saw such love in them. My only hope is for you to live a beautiful life.”

Tears welled and fell, soaking into the paper. My heart twisted, every beat a question without an answer. Her love and sacrifice was undeniable. But it cut deep, carving through me with an ache I hadn’t known I could feel.

I didn’t know what hurt more: the unrelenting grief in her letter or the secrets that had shielded me from it. Everything felt different now. The memories I’d leaned on all my life felt jagged, reframed by truths I hadn’t asked for.

I needed answers, and there was only one person I could think to call. Aunt Margie’s voice softened once I told her about the letter.

“Oh, Katie,” she said, the familiarity of her voice making me ache even more. “He told me this day might come. Are you okay?”

“No,” I said, my voice cracking. “I don’t know how to feel.”

Her sigh was heavy, weighted with a story she had clearly carried for years.

She explained how my parents had wrestled with the decision to tell me, and the heartbreaking circumstances my birth mother had faced.

Then Margie hesitated, and I heard her flipping through something on the other end of the line. “Your birth mother lived in Seattle, last I heard. Here, let me find the address.”

I clung to the phone, my heart hammering as she read it out. Her voice held reassurance, but I couldn’t escape the gnawing uncertainty.

The address wasn’t far, but every mile felt heavier than the last. My hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly my knuckles turned white, the tension in my shoulders building with every turn.

When I finally pulled up in front of the house, my pulse was a frantic drumbeat in my ears. It was smaller than I’d imagined, weathered but cared for, its garden bursting with wildflowers that spilled over the edge of a crooked fence.

I stepped out of the car, my legs shaky beneath me.

For a moment, I stood frozen, staring at the chipped paint on the door and wondering what I was even doing there. The envelope, now slightly crumpled, burned in my hand. Finally, with a deep breath that felt more like a gasp, I walked up the path and knocked.

The door opened slowly, and I held my breath. When she appeared, it was like staring at a reflection in rippled glass. For a long, agonizing moment, she just stared, her lips parted, her breath caught somewhere between disbelief and recognition.

“Kate?” she whispered, her voice trembling, fragile.

My throat tightened, and all the words I’d practiced on the drive vanished. Instead, I reached out and handed her the letter, my hands unsteady.

“This is from the man who raised me,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “He wanted you to know how much he loved me, and how grateful he was to you.”

She took it with trembling fingers, her eyes scanning the envelope as though it might dissolve in her hands. Then she opened it, carefully, reverently, and began to read.

Tears spilled over her cheeks almost instantly, her shoulders shaking with silent sobs. I didn’t move, or dare to breathe as we stood there, two strangers bound by an unspeakable history.

When she looked up, her expression was a heartbreaking mix of joy and grief.

“He was a good man,” she said softly, her voice thick with emotion. “I always knew… I always hoped he would be.”

The days that followed felt like a dream, one I couldn’t quite wake from.

Anne, my birth mother, invited me into her world with an openness that was both overwhelming and comforting.

She showed me photographs from a life I had never been part of. Her stories were vivid, painted with the raw emotion of someone trying to piece together a puzzle they thought they’d lost forever.

We cried together and laughed together, and slowly the pieces began to fall into place.

For the first time, I wasn’t just looking at my past. I was living it, understanding it in a way that both broke and healed me at once.

Weeks later, we met again at Dad’s favorite park. Margie and my cousins joined us. It was messy and awkward at times, but it felt right.

Standing there, watching the people who loved me come together, I realized my father had given me more than just answers.
