I Found an Elderly Woman on the Roadside on a Snowy Christmas Eve & Took Her Home — Days Later, a Luxury Decorated SUV Pulled up to My Door

Despite being a struggling single mom, I had to help the elderly woman I found out in the cold on Christmas Eve. I never imagined that my simple act of kindness would lead to a mysterious luxury SUV at my door — or heal my broken heart.

I pulled my threadbare coat tighter around me as I trudged home through the thickest snow I’d seen in years. I was bone-tired from scrubbing floors in the Grayson mansion, but I was almost home.

But I couldn’t complain. My job was hard, but the Graysons were kind enough for rich folk. Besides, I had five hungry mouths waiting for me at home.

The streetlights cast long shadows across the pristine snow, and I couldn’t help but think of my late husband, Jason. He would’ve loved this kind of night and probably would’ve dragged the kids out for an impromptu snowball fight.

God, I missed him. Three years felt like forever and yesterday all at once.

I almost didn’t see the woman huddled on a bench, shivering in the darkness.

My first instinct was to hurry past. We barely had enough for ourselves, and the roof had started leaking again last week. But something made me stop.

“Ma’am?” I called out, taking a tentative step closer. “Are you alright?”

She looked up, and my heart clenched. Her face was weathered but elegant, with clear blue eyes that reminded me of my grandmother’s. She tried to smile, but her lips trembled from the cold.

“Oh, I’m fine, dear,” she said, her voice cultured but weak. “Just resting a moment.”

I glanced at my watch. It was 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. No one “rests” on a bench in this weather at this hour unless something’s wrong.

“Do you have somewhere to go?” I asked, already knowing the answer.

She hesitated, pride warring with desperation in her expression. “I… I’ll manage.”

The Jason-voice in my head spoke up: No one should be alone on Christmas Eve, Katie-girl.

I sighed, knowing I was probably crazy but unable to walk away.

“Look, I don’t have much, but I’ve got a warm house and some soup on the stove. Why don’t you come home with me?”

“Oh, I couldn’t possibly—”

“I insist,” I said, offering my hand. “I’m Kate, by the way.”

“Margaret,” she replied softly, taking my hand after a long moment. “You’re very kind.”

The walk home was slow, but Margaret grew steadier with each step. As we approached my little house, I saw the lights on and the familiar sight of Emma watching for me at the window.

“Mom!” Tommy, my youngest, flung open the door before we reached it. His eyes widened at the sight of Margaret. “Who’s that?”

“This is Margaret,” I said, helping her up the creaky steps. “She’s going to stay with us tonight.”

My other kids, Sarah, Michael, Emma, and Lisa, appeared in the doorway. They stared at Margaret with undisguised curiosity.

“Kids, help Margaret get settled while I warm up some soup,” I called out, heading to the kitchen.

To my surprise, they sprang into action. Sarah grabbed our best blanket (which wasn’t saying much), while Michael pulled out a chair.

Emma and Lisa started showing Margaret our tiny Christmas tree, decorated with paper ornaments they’d made at school.

“Look at the angel!” Lisa exclaimed. “I made it myself!”

“It’s beautiful,” Margaret said, her voice warming. “Did you make all these decorations?”

As the kids chattered away, I ladled out soup into our mismatched bowls. The house was shabby, but at least it was warm. Well, mostly warm. I’d stuffed old towels under the doors to block the drafts.

Later, after the kids were in bed, Margaret and I sat at the kitchen table with cups of tea.

“Thank you,” she whispered. “I… I never expected…”

“No one should be alone on Christmas,” I said simply.

The next morning, I caught my supervisor, Denise, in the kitchen during our break. She was arranging flowers in a crystal vase, her gray hair neatly pinned back as always.

“Denise, can I talk to you about something?” I fidgeted with my apron strings.

She turned, warm brown eyes crinkling at the corners. “Of course, honey. What’s troubling you?”

“I… well, I took someone in last night. An elderly woman who was out in the cold.”

Denise set down her flowers. “On Christmas Eve? Oh, Kate…”

“I know it sounds crazy—”

“Not crazy. Kind.” She squeezed my arm. “Lord knows we need more of that in this world. How are the kids taking it?”

“They’ve practically adopted her already. But…” I hesitated. “With money being so tight…”

“Don’t you worry about that.” Denise patted my hand. “I’ve got some leftover ham from our Christmas dinner. I’ll pop home during my break to fetch it so you take it home to those babies.”

“Oh, no, I couldn’t—”

“You absolutely could, and will.” She fixed me with her no-nonsense stare. “That’s what community is for.”

“Excuse me, you did what, Kate?” Janine’s sharp voice cut in.

She leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. “Honey, you can barely feed your soccer team of kids as it is. What were you thinking?”

Her words stung because they echoed my doubts.

“Shame on you, Janine!” Denise cut in. “All acts of kindness make the world a better place and…” Denise winked at me. “Life has a way of repaying people who go out of their way to help others.”

Janine rolled her eyes, and I almost did the same. I never imagined then that my simple act of kindness would change my world.

Three days later, a sleek SUV festooned with Christmas decorations pulled up outside my house just as I was leaving for work. I was still staring at it in shock and confusion when a tall man in an expensive suit jumped out, his face tight with emotion.

“Are you Kate?” he demanded.

I nodded, pushing down my sudden anxiety as a fierce frown appeared on his face.

“I’m Robert. Margaret is my mother.” His voice softened. “I’ve been searching for her since Christmas Eve.”

I stood frozen on my front steps as he ran a hand through his dark hair, clearly agitated. “Please, I need to know if she’s alright.”

“She’s fine,” I assured him. “She’s inside with my youngest, probably doing puzzles. They’ve become quite the team.”

Relief flooded his face, followed quickly by anguish.

“I should never have left her with Claire. God, what was I thinking?” He paced in the snow. “I was overseas for business and my sister Claire was supposed to care for Mom. But when I got back…”

His voice cracked. “I found Claire throwing a party in Mom’s house. The place was trashed, and when I asked where Mom was, Claire just shrugged and said she’d ‘moved out.’ Moved out of her own damn house! Yeah right. My leech of a sister clearly kicked her out.”

“That’s terrible,” I whispered.

“I’ve been searching everywhere. I finally went to ask Mr. Grayson for help — he was a friend of my father’s. A member of his staff overheard us and mentioned you.” He looked at me intently. “You saved her life, you know.”

I shook my head. “Anyone would have—”

“But they didn’t. You did.” He pulled out a set of keys and gestured to the decorated car. “This SUV… it’s yours now.”

“What? No, I couldn’t possibly—”

“Please.” He stepped closer, and I noticed his eyes were a warm hazel. “When everyone else walked past, you stopped. Let me repay you.”

He gently took my hands and tucked the keys into my palm. I thought of Denise’s words about kindness being repaid, and wrapped my fingers around the keys, accepting the gift despite my doubts.

I thought that would be the last I saw of Robert and Margaret, but I was wrong.

Over the next few weeks, Robert became a fixture in our lives. He’d stop by with workers to fix various parts of the house, always staying to chat.

I tried to stop him, but he insisted on helping. I learned to accept it as I got to know him better and realized how much he valued family. He didn’t see us as a charity case like I first thought; he was genuinely grateful to us.

“Mom!” Sarah called one evening. “Mr. Robert brought pizza!”

“And books!” Lisa added excitedly.

I found him in our newly repaired kitchen, looking slightly sheepish. “I hope you don’t mind. The kids mentioned they were studying ancient Egypt…”

“You didn’t have to—”

“I wanted to.” His smile was gentle. “Besides, Tommy promised to teach me his secret handshake.”

As winter melted into spring, I found myself watching the clock on days I knew he’d visit. We’d sit on the porch after the kids were in bed, talking about everything — his work, my dreams for the kids, shared memories of loss and hope.

“Jason would have loved this,” I said one evening, gesturing at our transformed home. “He always had such plans…”

Robert was quiet for a moment. “Tell me about him?”

So I did, surprised to find I could talk about Jason without that sharp pain in my chest. Robert listened in a way that made me feel heard.

Weeks became months. Margaret also visited regularly and the kids thrived under the attention of their new grandmother figure and Robert’s steady presence.

“He likes you, you know,” Sarah said one day, wise beyond her thirteen years.

“Sarah—”

“Mom, it’s okay to be happy again. Dad would want that.”

A year later, Robert and I were married. I stood in the living room watching Robert help Tommy hang ornaments on our new Christmas tree while Margaret and the girls baked cookies, and marveled at how life surprises you.

“Perfect spot, buddy,” he said, then turned to me. “What do you think, Kate?”

“It’s beautiful,” I replied, meaning so much more than just the tree.

Jordan Poole’s Parents Prepared Him for His NBA Career – Meet Monet Poole & Anthony Poole

Jordan Poole’s parents, Monet Poole and Anthony Poole, significantly influenced his sports career. As a child, Jordan’s father coached him in basketball, teaching the NBA star valuable life lessons.

NBA player Jordan Poole agreed to a four-year extension with the Golden State Warriors, a deal that cost up to $140 million.

Poole has been playing for the Warriors for four seasons, with his numbers improving as time passes. His contribution to the team’s 2022 title was significant, averaging 17 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in the playoffs.

As he embarks on this journey, Jordan’s parents show their support all the way through as they have done in the past.

Who Are Jordan Poole’s Parents?

Jordan’s parents, Anthony and Monet Poole, raised their son in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Interest in sports ran in the family long before Anthony and Monet had their son.

Anthony was a high school basketball player but transitioned into playing football during college. Similarly, Monet was a high school athlete, although her participation in sports did not continue in college.

Anthony and Monet Poole Raised a Respectful Athlete

The couple eventually became their son’s influence in basketball, and when they saw talent, Anthony and Monet molded Jordan into the basketball player he is today. When the Warriors guard was still a kid, Anthony would take him to the Bucks season and study Ray Allen’s movements.

His love for basketball would continue at home, where they would watch Michael Jordan highlights. Even as a kid, Jordan already showed an eagerness to play but was too young to hang out with the adults who would go to the gym Anthony ran. Anthony recalled of his son:

“One time, he was trying to throw it underhanded, and I just went up to him and said, ‘Man, if you [are] going to do this, you got to shoot it the right way. You got to shoot it above your head.'”

Jordan continuously showed determination to learn the sport, and by third grade, he was already shooting three-pointers. As a pre-teen, he could already play with the older basketball players without being left behind in points.

Anthony always gave his son a pep talk through challenging games, teaching him to play with integrity and respect regardless of the situation.

Anthony eventually became his son’s coach, but even then, the young athlete never got a pass. Anthony was especially strict with his son, wanting to bring out the best in Jordan. Anthony taught his boy to challenge everything in the right way – humbly and respectfully.

By 2020, Anthony knew his son was going to become a star. One day, after a great gym session, Anthony went home to Monet and told her that their son would become a professional. Within a few years, his words became a reality.

Anthony and Monet became constant sources of support and inspiration for their son. When it was time to celebrate Jordan’s success in the NBA championship, Anthony and Monet ensured they were there to show their pride.

Jordan Poole’s Altercation with Draymond Green

In October 2022, a video of Draymond Green attacking Jordan made its way to the internet. What started as a verbal argument turned into a physical altercation, with Green throwing the first punch.

The coaches and other NBA stars began pulling Green away. Fortunately, Jordan seemed to be unharmed. Jordan later revealed that he and the other athlete had since talked things out in an attempt to mend their relationship. Green also apologized to his teammates while Jordan was in the room.

This was not the first time Draymond Green made headlines for getting into a fight with a fellow athlete. Previously, he and Tristan Thompson reportedly had a physical argument at a Los Angeles nightclub.

Woman Brings Toys to Foster Care, Meets Boy Who Is Carbon Copy of Her Late Husband – Story of the Day

Nicole and Mark married each other just months after meeting for the first time. They were head-over-heels in love with one another and were sure that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives as husband and wife.

Mark proposed to Nicole and decided to tie the knot in a simple civil ceremony with only their parents and siblings in the audience. In the months following their wedding, they tried really hard to have children, but they just couldn’t conceive.

After trying for over three years, they decided to visit the doctor to find out why they couldn’t conceive a child naturally and to find out their options. Instead of an alternative to conceiving naturally, they received the heartbreaking news that Mark had a malignant tumor in his lungs that made it to other parts of his body. By then, it was too late to remove it.

Nicole and Mark spent the next couple of months making the most out of their time together. They traveled, spent all holidays together, and visited group homes to spend time with kids.

“In another life, this is how I would have loved for us to spend the rest of our lives, Mark,” Nicole cried one day as she cradled a young baby in her arms. “Us, with our kids…” she started to daydream before her eyes filled with tears. By then, she could no longer stop sobbing.

“Why did it have to be you?” Nicole cried. “Why us?” she asked, again and again.

By then, Mark’s health had started to deteriorate, and he could no longer go anywhere without his oxygen tank. In just a span of a few short weeks, he was bedridden and he eventually died in his sleep. “No more pain, my love,” Nicole cried. “I love you.”

Months passed after Mark’s death, and Nicole could not cope with the loss. She tried her best to take her mind off of things by visiting the same group home she and Mark used to visit.

One day, a couple of days before Christmas, Nicole visited the group home with new toys and books for the children. She loved spending time with them, as it reminded her of better days with Mark.

While looking around, she suddenly spotted a new boy about the age of four in the midst of all the children playing. “It can’t be,” she whispered to herself. The boy looked exactly like Mark did when he was younger, with hazelnut brown eyes, porcelain skin with freckles, and chocolate brown hair. It was like looking straight at a younger Mark.

“Who is he?” she decided to ask one of the group home administrators. ” I haven’t seen him here before.”

“That is Tony,” the administrator revealed. His mom died about a year ago, and unfortunately, his foster family did not choose to adopt him and could no longer afford to keep him with them, so he’s back here,” he explained.

“What about his father? Do you know who he is?” she decided to ask.

The administrator shook his head. “He didn’t have a dad on his birth certificate. It was just his mom,” he revealed.

It was then that Nicole decided to approach Tony to get to know him a little bit. “Hi there,” she smiled at him. “I’m Nicole. I brought some toys and books for all the kids. Do you want some of them?”

Tony flashed a big smile, showing one dimple on the right side of his cheek, the same dimple that Mark had. “Toys! Yes, I want a toy and some books,” the young boy said. “Thank you! You are so kind!”

After staring into each other’s eyes with big smiles on their faces, Nicole could feel herself growing attached to Tony. He not only reminded him of Mark, but she had always wanted a child, and now, it seemed like she finally found a son in Tony.

“When I saw his eyes, I knew it couldn’t just be a coincidence,” she revealed.

That night, Nicole spent all her time with Tony. The boy wouldn’t leave Nicole’s side, and the two of them played and read books together. After talking to the group home’s administrator, Nicole decided to go through all the needed processes to take Tony home.

Months later, when it was finally completed, Nicole invited all of her family members to dinner, including Mark’s family, to meet the boy.

When her mother-in-law Mara entered the house, Nicole noticed how the older woman’s face changed when she saw Tony. “Doesn’t he look exactly like Mark?” Nicole asked, thinking that she was just surprised to see how much the boy resembled her son in childhood.

The dinner went smoothly, and Tony couldn’t be happier to be surrounded by so many family members. “I’ve never had a big family like this,” he admitted.

That night, Tony went to sleep with a big smile on his face. “I love you, mom. Thank you for being my family,” the young boy said before going to sleep.

The next morning, Nicole’s mother-in-law unexpectedly showed up on their doorstep again. “I have something to tell you,” she said quietly.

Nicole asked her to come in and prepared a cup of coffee for her. “What is it, mom?” she asked.

“A few weeks before your wedding, his ex-girlfriend Tara appeared on our doorstep. At the time, Mark no longer wanted to see her, and didn’t want to have anything to do with her because he loved you – he really did, Nicole,” she started to explain.

“But when she arrived in our home, she had a big belly that one could spot from meters away. She was eight months pregnant at the time,” Mara explained.

At this point, Nicole could feel her stomach twisting. “And that child… it was Mark’s?” she asked her mother-in-law.

For illustration purposes only. | Source: Pexels

For illustration purposes only. | Source: Pexels

Mara shamefully nodded her head. “We didn’t want to believe her, because it’d been about seven months since she and Mark had broken up. After all, he was already with you and I didn’t want to destroy what you and Mark had. I hadn’t seen my son so happy with anyone else but you,” Mara said, trying to reach out for Nicole’s hand.

Nicole couldn’t believe what her mother-in-law was saying, but she couldn’t deny her gut feeling that Tony was Mark’s son. “When I saw his eyes, I knew it couldn’t just be a coincidence,” she revealed.

That night, Nicole decided to look for one of Mark’s old hairbrushes to get some strands of hair, so she could get a DNA test for him and Tony. Despite what she found out, she never treated Tony differently, and the two of them still spent most of their time together.

Weeks later, Nicole received DNA test results that confirmed that Tony was Mark’s son. At first, Nicole was overwhelmed with emotions and couldn’t stop crying.

For illustration purposes only. | Source: Pexels

For illustration purposes only. | Source: Pexels

Should we have helped her ex-girlfriend when she was still alive? she thought to herself. What if he had decided to leave me to go back to his ex-girlfriend so that they could raise their child together?

Her thoughts were racing with so many different thoughts until Tony walked up to her and hugged her. “You look sad, mom,” he told her. “Please don’t be sad. I love you,” he said, tightening his grip on Nicole.

It was then that Nicole smiled. She was happy that even though Mark never got to meet his son, she was now able to care for him on his behalf. “I love you, sweetheart,” she replied. “More than you’ll ever know.”

What can we learn from this story?

  • Children should not be blamed for their parents’ mistakes. Even though Nicole found out that Tony was her late husband’s son with another woman, she never took it out on the kid, knowing he was never at fault for anything. Instead, she used this as just another reason to love her son more, knowing that he was related to her beloved husband.
  • It’s never too late for new beginnings. Nicole was heartbroken after losing her husband Mark. It was only when she found Tony that she was able to begin again and experience happiness like she did before her husband got sick.

Share this story with your friends. It might brighten their day and inspire them.

Joaquin Phoenix recently made headlines after withdrawing from an explicit film project just before production began. Although the actor has remained largely silent over the issue, reports suggest a possible reason for his sudden departure.

In a May 2023 interview, director Todd Haynes disclosed that he and actor Joaquin Phoenix had co-developed a period gay romance with Jonathan Raymond. Haynes mentioned that this project would be his next film.

“The next film is a feature that’s an original script that I developed with Joaquin Phoenix based on some thoughts and ideas he brought to me. We basically wrote with him as a story writer. Me and Jon Raymond and Joaquin share the story credit,” Haynes divulged.

Known for embracing extreme roles, Phoenix encouraged Haynes to explore bold, adult themes. Haynes recalled the movie star’s influence, stating, “Joaquin was pushing me further and going ‘No, let’s go further.'”

Haynes explained that the script was developed in an organic and collaborative process, with the Academy Award winner pushing the project into more risky territory, particularly its sexual content.

Haynes described the movie as an NC-17-rated period piece set in 1930s Los Angeles. The film was set to focus on a gay love story.

Speaking at the U.S. premiere of “May December” in September 2023, Haynes updated fans on the film’s progress. He shared that they had completed the script right after filming “May December” and before the industry strike.

Haynes credited Phoenix for inspiring the project, praising his “daring” and willingness “to push through barriers.” He noted that the Golden Globe Award winner’s desire to explore uncomfortable aspects of a relationship was central to the story’s development.

The untitled film aimed to begin production in Mexico once Phoenix became available. The plot would have focused on Phoenix’s character and his lover fleeing to Mexico.

Haynes expressed his wish to work with many of the same team members from “May December” for this new venture. However, the timing depended on Phoenix’s availability due to delays from the strike and other postponed commitments.

Yet, Phoenix unexpectedly withdrew from the untitled film just five days before production was set to begin in Guadalajara, Mexico. Despite initial plans moving forward, he dropped out while still in Los Angeles, and the project fell apart in July 2024.

Haynes had already assembled a crew in Mexico, with sales agent MK2 Films backing the production and securing international deals. Sources indicated that the film’s financing was dependent on Phoenix’s involvement.

His sudden exit left numerous stakeholders, including financiers and crew members, awaiting compensation. Phoenix’s abrupt departure from the film on such short notice is believed to have resulted in losses exceeding seven figures.

The Grammy Award winner recently attended a press conference with his co-star Lady Gaga during the Venice Film Festival to promote “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster. In the film, Phoenix returns to the Oscar-winning role that made him famous as the iconic comic-book character.

An X user reacted to Phoenix’s presence during the conference. The user noted the actor’s high spirit when he entered the room filled with press members.

Phoenix maintained a positive and unexpectedly open demeanor during the press conference. Several minutes in, a journalist wanted to know why the actor decided to exit the Haynes film. He started to respond but then paused, taking a moment to reconsider before continuing.

“If I do, I would just be sharing my opinion from my perspective, and the other creatives aren’t here to share their piece. It doesn’t feel like that would be right. I don’t think that would be helpful, so I just don’t think I will,” Phoenix said before cheerfully thanking the press.

Social media users expressed their approval of Phoenix’s action. “I agree it was HIS decision to make and he did. I hope they cast it well. Now with all the buzz it should be a great showing,” wrote one Facebook user. Another expressed, “Huge respect for him.” Someone else was glad about the actor’s decision, stating, “I’M SO HAPPY HE DID.”

Another user noted that going ahead with the production may have resulted in unfavorable circumstances for Phoenix, writing, “He made the right decision. Think it potentially could have hurt his career.”

Another individual emphasized, “He made the RIGHT choice.” As Phoenix received backlash for pulling out of the production while everything had been set up, one user came to his defense. “No reason to criticize him. Respect his values and his personal choice. Actors are allowed to choose the roles they take, you know,” said the individual.

While Phoenix didn’t state exactly why he withdrew from the Haynes film, an insider has since speculated the reason behind his decision. A source close to the production revealed that the Hollywood star had gotten “cold feet” before his sudden exit.

Ever since the news of his exit made headlines, a publication reached out to Phoenix and Killer Films’ representatives, but Killer Films’ reps declined to comment.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to the spotlight, sparking conversations after making appearances at various public events separately. Although they were expected to attend a prestigious gathering together, the actress ultimately arrived on her own.

Prince Harry recently dispelled divorce rumors amid criticism about his professional relationship with his wife, Meghan Markle, which a source has labeled as being in a “very bad state.” A friend has since offered insight into their dynamic, aiming to clarify the situation.

Royal biographer Angela Levin speculated about potential strains in their professional relationship, citing Prince Harry’s unresolved U.S. visa issues and reports of their interest in purchasing property in Portugal.

Levin remarked, “They say they’re going to work separately, then they say they’re buying a house in Portugal—you don’t do that if you don’t want to separate for most of the time, so I wonder if it’s in a very bad state. But I’m sure they’re trying to work out something.”

Levin’s remarks bring attention to the ongoing discussion surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s evolving dynamic, particularly as they balance separate and shared commitments.

This shift was previously described by a friend as a “twin-track approach” in an interview. Prince Harry remains dedicated to philanthropic endeavors, while Markle is leaning into entrepreneurial projects and commercial ventures.

“An entrepreneurial and enterprise focus is going to be more the Duchess’s priority, and the Duke will continue to champion his not-for-profit patronages,” the friend explained. Despite their individual pursuits, the couple is expected to collaborate on shared, cause-driven initiatives.

As part of their commitment to community-focused efforts, Markle and The Archewell Foundation recently hosted a dinner in celebration of Thanksgiving for the Southern California Welcome Project.

This balanced approach to her and Prince Harry’s professional and personal lives has naturally fueled public curiosity, with many speculating about the state of their relationship.

With a touch of humor, he commented on the exaggerated rumors, saying, “Apparently, we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently, divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, ‘What?'”

Prince Harry’s lighthearted dismissal of the rumors was followed by a candid acknowledgment of the challenges posed by relentless speculation. He admitted, “It’s hard to keep up” with the swirling narratives, but shared his straightforward solution to intrusive media coverage: ignoring it altogether.

“Once you stop reading the stuff about yourself, you automatically remove the power from their hands,” he explained, emphasizing the importance of disengaging to maintain peace of mind.

“I haven’t ever fallen in love with a leading man. I think it’s nice if you have a warm connection with them, but it’s not advisable to sleep with them. Warren Beatty told me that,” expressed the “Where the Heart Is” alum.

In spite of the complexities, Channing’s outlook on love appeared optimistic and grounded in reality. She emphasized the importance of acting on love, the chaotic beauty of it, and the possibility of monogamy as a choice that makes someone your “[favorite] person in the world.”

Channing also shared her thoughts on divorce and being in a long-term relationship. “What have I learned from my divorces? I know that nobody gets married to get divorced. I don’t think I’ll get married another time. I’ve been living with my partner [cinematographer Daniel Gillham] for over 20 years, so… It would feel quite silly, actually,” added the “Maryland” actress.

The “Sweet Revenge” actress, who has been married four times, with all of her unions ending in divorce and no children, experienced sheer heartbreak and loss when she lost her long-time partner, Gillham, in 2014.

During a 2018 interview on “Lorraine,” Channing conveyed her inclination towards theater over film and television, emphasizing her fervor for the live performance aspect of acting. She rationalized her preference by underscoring her affection for the immediacy and the connection with the audience that theater offers.

Even though the “Urban Myths” alum didn’t share any comments to confirm or refute the rumors, this didn’t stop people from speculating, and many social media users were quick to voice their criticism.

“Just needs a partial face lift. Too many injections. Bad Dr…She’s still pretty [sic]..” said one Twitter user. “What has she done to her face?! 😱” wondered another shocked commenter.

‘Zombie’ Angelina Jolie Lookalike Shows Off Real Face After Release From Prison

The 'zombie' Angelia Jolie lookalike has revealed her real face after being released from prison.

The ‘zombie’ Angelina Jolie lookalike has revealed her real face after being released from prison.

Sahar Tabar, whose real name is Fatemah Khishvand, went viral on social media in 2017 after uploading a series of photos on Instagram.

The images depicted her as a ‘zombified’ version of the Maleficent actress.

And while Tabar’s Instagram photos found her fame, they also backfired.

Sahar Tabar gained international fame around 2017 due to her eerie and exaggerated appearance, which she achieved through makeup, photo editing, and possibly cosmetic surgery.

Her unusual looks attracted both curiosity and criticism online.

But in October 2019, Sahar Tabar was arrested by Iranian authorities, per BBC News.

The arrest was part of a broader crackdown on social media influencers.

She was charged with blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means, and encouraging youth corruption.

Iran’s strict moral codes and censorship laws often target individuals who promote what is seen as Western or anti-Islamic lifestyles, Al Jazeera reports.

In December 2020, Sahar Tabar was sentenced to ten years in prison.

However, she was reported by The Guardian to have been granted a conditional release in mid-December 2020 after serving 14 months in prison.

The social media star has since appeared on the state-owned channel Rokna with her real face, leaving the internet shocked.

One person pens: “It’s amazing how many people put so much thought into what other people are doing to be comfortable in their own skin. Maybe if bad-mouthing and judging others wasn’t so common, fewer people would feel the need to alter their appearance.”

“Prayers for her,” another adds.

While a third pens: “Wow! It’s so sad what lengths people would go to for fame… they should have tackled her body dysmorphia rather than an uncalled-for prison sentence.”

Previously, many had been led to believe that Tahar’s Instagram appearance was the result of botched plastic surgery.

However, she stresses that this is not the case – instead, she used makeup and edited her snaps with Photoshop.

She explains: “What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image.

“Cyberspace was an easy way. It was much easier than becoming an actor.”

However, Tahar has reportedly acknowledged that she has had some cosmetic procedures, including a nose job and lip fillers.

The influencer admitted that she had altered images of herself back in 2017.

She told Russian news outlet Sputnik that she had done it to ‘amuse’ herself.

“Now I can see that I have something in common with [Angelina Jolie], but I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal,” she explained to the outlet.

“Over time I post a photo, I make my face more fun and funny, it is a form of self-expression, a kind of art.

She added that fans are aware this isn’t her ‘real face.’

Tahar reportedly deleted her Instagram profile in 2019.

Iran has banned several major social media networks, including Facebook and X, formally known as Twitter.

And now, Tahar has hit the headlines once more for showing her real face.

Upon revealing her real face on the Rokna episode, Tahar explains: “My mother was telling me to stop, but I didn’t listen.

“Sometimes the words of a stranger or a friend can be more important than those of a parent.”

Tabar adds that her posts – which she described as a ‘vulgarity’ – helped her to become famous.

Neil Patrick Harris Shares New Photo Of His Kids And Everyone’s Saying The Same Thing

Neil Patrick Harris Shares New Photo Of His Kids And Everyone’s Saying The Same Thing

Neil Patrick Harris has shared a new photo of his twins and everyone is saying the same thing.

Neil Patrick Harris has shared a new photo of his two children and everyone is saying the same thing.

The How I Met Your Mother star has enjoyed a successful acting career and he’s recognized as a trailblazer in LGBTQ+ rights, particularly for starting a family with his same-s** partner, David Burtka.

Harris and Burtka, who have been together since 2004, became parents in 2010 when they welcomed twins, son Gideon and daughter Harper.

Now, a recent picture of the siblings has fans making the same comment.

The couple married in 2014 and have always known they wanted children, with Burtka revealing in an essay for Out magazine that having kids was a key part of their bond: “If he hadn’t wanted kids, I don’t think we’d be together.”

Harris and Burtka’s children were carried by a surrogate, with the couple both contributing sp**m, meaning that either twin could be biologically linked to either parent.

As the Gone Girl actor explained: “We inserted one of my sp**m and one of David’s sp**m into two eggs with the hope that they would both take, just because we both wanted to be dads biologically. Both took, miraculously.”

Harris has also revealed he’s not concerned with discovering which twin is biologically his, emphasizing: “We are their parents and I love them implicitly.”

The twins’ parentage isn’t important to the star; he is simply proud to be their father, regardless of the biological details.

Despite Harris’ statement, fans have taken to social media and speculated. Many say Gideon looks like Harris, while others say Harper resembles Burtka.

But, as Harris said, the biological details don’t matter – what counts is their love and commitment to their children.

Still, a recent photo of Harris and Burtka with the twins has everyone offering a new opinion.

The actor took to Instagram over the Thanksgiving celebrations and expressed his gratitude for the blessings in his life, including his health, family, and support systems.

The snap was captioned: “Thanksgiving, 2024. So much to be thankful for in our lives: our health, our wisdom, our family…”

Many fans pointed out how much the couple’s children have grown, with one follower writing: “Wait…I thought they were babies?! Omg time is going by way too fast!!”

Another added: “Kids are so grown up!! Beautiful family!”

“Weren’t they just 7 and 10?” commented a third fan.

A 20-year-old woman, known as Miss Nevvy on TikTok, shared her extraordinary journey of being “physically paralyzed” after a devastating breakup.

A TikToker received an unexpected tear-inducing response from her neighbors after making a noise complaint.

People are flooding to TikTok after a woman revealed her neighbor’s response to her noise complaint.

Unless you live in the outskirts or rural countryside, the likelihood is you’ll probably hear the people who live next door to you from time to time and may need to politely remind your neighbor that you have ears and don’t typically enjoy being kept awake at night or woken up early in the morning.

And one TikToker’s noise complaint certainly got quite the reaction.

The TikToker received a letter back from her neighbors.

TikToker Martina Panchetti – who goes by @maartinapanchetti on the platform – lives in London and took to her page last month to explain she’d sent a letter to her neighbors ‘politely asking to make less noise’.

In the video, she notes the people who live next door are ‘a family with kids‘ and she’d specifically highlighted them ‘playing piano too early in the morning’.

And the response she received left her ‘in tears’.

Martina’s neighbors replied with a card in an envelope and upon opening the letter, the TikToker quickly realised it had been written by the family’s children.

The TikToker's neighbors' children replied.

TikTok/ @maartinapanchetti

It read: “Dear neighbours, Thank you for your kind message. We realise that sometimes we can be noisy and naughty.

“We started learning piano and our teachers tell us to practice everyday. But we sincerely apologise not considering the times of the day and the weekends.

“To be honest, mommy has been telling us not to play in the mornings and she also wants to get some sleep on the weekends.

“We promise YOU and we promise our mommy to try to be more considerate.”

The children finished the letter by noting they’d included some of their ‘national Azeri sweets as a token of apology’ adding they’re not nut free, signing off as ‘your loud neighbors’.

Martina confirmed the kids had also sent across their national sweets, which on top of the card, left her ‘in tears’ and quickly hopping to it to go and ‘cook some Italian sweets’ in return.

And other social media users have had a similar reaction. Prepare for a cuteness overload:

One TikToker wrote: “This would make me wanna put together a sorry basket for them.”

“Now THIS is parenting!!!” Another added.

A third commented: “Plot twist, that’s a passive agressive note from the dad.”

And a final resolved: “It’s actually mental how much your mindset changes when your neighbours become people to us and not just noise!

“I have this with my stompy yet lovely upstairs fella.”
