Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour is coming to an end on Sunday night, which explains why she’s not at tonight’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

Instead, she’s putting the finishing touches on a 150-plus concert tour that traveled to five continents before coming to rest at BC Place in Vancouver for the final three shows. The three-concert stretch at BC Place kicked off on Friday night and the tour’s epic conclusion is just a few hours away.

Given the duration of the tour and the amount of effort put in by everyone associated, it will likely be an extremely emotional time for those involved. Fans got a close-up look at some of that emotion this weekend when cameras caught Swift’s parents sharing an emotional moment.

Swift’s mom, Andrea, was seen wiping tears from her face as she hugged husband, Scott, while Taylor’s brother, Austin, got in on the love fest too.

“The coolest thing was sitting close enough to see Andrea, Austin, Scott and the audio booth watching the surprise songs. You never know what you’re going to get at the Eras Tour,” the fan who captured the video said.

Fans loved the moment.

“Austin coming in to join the hug got me,” one fan said.

“‘Never Grow Up’ is an always skip because I absolutely bawl my eyes out every time. This mashup destroyed me,” said another.

“Absolutely beautiful and touching moment that Andrea, Scott and Austin shared!!!” offered a third.

“My god tonight is going to emotionally crumble me isn’t it,” joked another.

The 5 Sexiest Movies About the Amish

The 5 Sexiest Movies About the Amish

United Artists

Here are the five sexiest movies about the Amish. Yes, we know what you’re thinking: How can anyone narrow it down to just five? We did our best and came up with the following:.

5. Amish Affair (2024)

Lifetime, obviously

The newest movie on our list, and the only one to be “ripped from the headlines,” Amish Affair tracks the passionate barnyard trysts between Hannah (Mackenzie Cardwell) and hunky Amish leader Aaron (Ryan McPartlin) after he welcomes her into his home to help with his ailing (and inconvenient) wife.

Lines are crossed, questions are raised, and, as so often happens in these situations, rat poison is dispensed.

This Lifetime original received a mostly positive reception, though one YouTube user commented, “OMG! We Amish are so not like this! LOL.”

4. Deadly Blessing (1981)

United Artists

We know, we know: Wes Craven’s Deadly Blessing, as everyone remembers, isn’t technically about the Amish. It’s about the Hittites, a very Amish-like sect. (WesCraven.com notes that the film “is set in Amish Country, at a local farm, where a woman’s husband is mysteriously killed by his own tractor!”)

But the Hittite stuff feels like a fig leaf covering up the fact that the sect is intended as an obvious stand-in for the Amish. This slasher film, which landed between the early mayhem of Craven classics like Last House on the Left and the commercial success of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, relies heavily on the appeal of its scantily clad actresses (including Sharon Stone in an early role) as they deal with an evil incubus. (Though really, is there any other kind?)

There’s lots of Biblical imagery, including an icky scene with a snake in a bathtub. It combines titillation and terror, in classic slasher tradition, but with some religious extremism thrown in. We can understand why the Amish probably wouldn’t want to be connected with it, and its ickier aspects explain why it’s only fourth on this list.

Also: Stone grew up in a part of Pennsylvania not far from Amish country, which makes us like Deadly Blessing more.

United Artists

Though it’s set in the 1920s, you can really feel the ’60s swinging through The Night They Raided Minsky’s, one of many films that had fun with the changing sexual mores of the year that followed the Summer of Love.  Minsky’s was also one of the first films to pit the plain Amish against the constant temptations of the outside world.

A pure romp, the film follows Britt Eckland as Rachel Schpitendavel, a young Amish woman hoping to make it in New York City with dance numbers inspired by the Bible. Through a series of complicated events, she ends up performing her chaste numbers at a burlesque show. When her furious Amish father tries to drag her offstage, ripping her clothes, she accidentally invents a new kind of entertainment.

The people involved in The Night They Raided Minsky’s are A-list all the way and include producer Norman Mailer, director William Friedkin (who would go on to direct The Exorcist), and actors Jason Robards, Elliott Gould, and Denholm Elliott. The latter would go on to appear in two Indiana Jones films with a gentleman who stars in the next film on our list.

Sexiest Movies About the Amish
Paramount Pictures

A basically perfect movie, Witness is rather chaste by the standards of sexy Amish movies. Of course it wasn’t the first film to juxtapose the plain lifestyle of the Amish with the sultriness of the big city, but it is the movie that did it with the most dignity and respect.

There’s a passionate, beautifully shot makeout scene between Rachel (Kelly McGillis) and Philadelphia cop John Book (Harrison Ford) before the big fight with the English who come to invade Rachel’s idyllic community to get her son, Samuel (Lucas Haas), who has witnessed a murder. The scene is as effective as it is because of the restraint leading up to it: John and Rachel’s silent assignment is naturalistic, cathartic, and entirely convincing.

Witness follows a lot of Hollywood tropes—the fish out of water, the mismatched lovers—and yet it works completely because everyone, from Ford to McGillis to director Peter Weir, commits and tries to give the Amish respect and dignity instead of just treating them as comical foils.

1. Kingpin (1996)

MGM – Credit: C/O

For our money, Kingpin is one of the funniest Farrelly Brothers films and has a proud spot on our list of ’90s comedies that just don’t care if you’re offended.

It follows bowling burnout Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) as he attempts to exploit Amish bowling savant Ishmael Boorg (Randy Quaid). But he must compete with Claudia (Vanessa Angel), who uses her considerable wiles to both corrupt and liberate the naive Ishmael. Some of the most memorable scenes in Kingpin come when Claudia uses the aforementioned wiles to help her boys on the bowling circuit by distracting their opponents.

What makes Kingpin so satisfying is how all three main characters, despite their intense differences and flaws, ultimately uplift one another. As in many Farrelly Brothers films, the tawdrier parts of life lead to wholesome outcomes.

Yating Yangin Beijing
Controversial Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has generated significant media buzz following her recent appearance at a Hong Kong event, fuelling speculation about her potential long-term residency in the city.

On November 28, Fan attended a brand event in Hong Kong, captivating netizens in a black gown that many likened to a “villainous queen”.

During the event, she revealed that she had filmed two movies this year, including the Hollywood film The Ice Road 2, starring Liam Neeson, and the Malaysian movie Mother Bhumi, where she plays a farmer who performs nighttime exorcisms for women.

Although she has not fully shed the extra pounds, she shared: “I gained about 6 to 6.5kg for the movie. I’ve lost most of it now by eating less and exercising hard.”

Expressing her enthusiasm for the Hong Kong film industry, she noted: “I am among the first batch of mainland actresses to come to Hong Kong to make films.”

Adding to the speculation about her future in the city, she has reportedly rented a super-luxury property on Barker Road on The Peak for about HK$650,000 (US$84,000) a month.

In response to inquiries about her plans, she stated that she would divide her time between Hong Kong and other locations, including Hollywood.

The 43-year-old actress was once one of China’s highest-earning stars and gained international recognition before a tax evasion scandal in May 2018.

Fan began her acting career in 1998 with her role as “Jin Suo” in the iconic TV drama My Fair Princess. She later made significant strides in the film industry, with influential roles in Buddha Mountain and I Am Not Madame Bovary, earning her Best Actress awards at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival and the 64th San Sebastian Film Festival.

Her stunning outfits, such as the dramatic “Dragon Robe” worn at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival in 2010, further established her as a stand-out star at international film festivals.

In October 2018, Fan faced a hefty fine of about 884 million yuan (US$122 million) from Chinese tax authorities for overdue taxes and fines, which tarnished her career and public image.

Following this, she was banned from acting and producing films in China, leading to a significant reduction in her public presence and sparking widespread speculation about her future.

Since then, she has shifted her career focus internationally. In June, she was appointed as a tourism ambassador by Malaysia’s Melaka state, aiming to attract more Chinese tourists by leveraging her 63 million followers on Weibo.

Although Fan receives less coverage from Chinese mainstream media now, she remains a beloved figure on mainland social media, where fans are captivated by her red-carpet appearances.

One admirer commented: “I have to say, she really looks good, and no other actress can match her.”

Another echoed: “Every appearance of hers is uniquely refreshing. The mainland red carpets are already dead water. She is the pinnacle, and there’s no substitute.”

“But it’s a pity, the dominant radiance in her eyes is gone,” remarked a third.

Profile | Ex-China gymnast Wu Liufang gains 3.5 million fans in a day after sexy dance ban lifted

Former Chinese gymnast and world champion Wu Liufang gained 3.5 million followers in a single day after her social media account was reinstated following a brief suspension due to provocative dance clips that sparked significant online backlash.

Wu, 30, born in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region in southern China, was once a member of the Chinese Women’s Gymnastics Team and celebrated as the “balance beam princess” for her multiple world championship victories on the balance beam.

However, her career took a tragic turn during the Olympic trials in May 2012 when she suffered a neck injury from a fall, preventing her from competing in the London Olympics and abruptly ending her gymnastics career.

After retiring, Wu enrolled at Beijing Sport University in 2014. Following her graduation, she explored various jobs to make a living, including teaching and coaching gymnastics at a sports school, before settling in Hangzhou to pursue live-streaming.

While working as a teacher, she encountered issues with unpaid wages. When she accepted a coaching position at a sports school in eastern China’s Zhejiang province, the promised tenure was not honoured as it was given to others.

In 2019, she began livestreaming in Hangzhou, where she earned a modest base salary of only 3,000 yuan (US$400) for streaming six hours a day.

Wu once shared: “My family wasn’t well-off, and I devoted all my youth to gymnastics. But I didn’t reach the pinnacle—an Olympic championship. I had to rely on myself.”

However, Wu’s journey to internet fame has not been without challenges.

Recently, she faced criticism for her provocative dancing, where she wore short shorts, mini skirts, and stockings in her Douyin clips, attracting both significant attention and a large following.

The situation escalated on November 22 when Olympic gymnastics champion Guan Chenchen publicly rebuked Wu, stating, “Sister, if you want to post thirst trap videos, do it on your own, but don’t tarnish gymnastics. Your ‘positive energy’ is not needed.”

Thirst traps refer to the posting of sexy selfies to gain online attention and traffic.

Wu quickly retaliated by accusing Guan of “sour grapes,” leading to an exchange of sarcastic comments between the two.

In a later interview, Guan elaborated on her concerns regarding Wu’s provocative videos: “How would parents who send their kids to gymnastics feel? Would they think there’s no future? What about the kids currently training in gymnastics? Would they wonder if they’ll end up like her after retiring?”

Wu later issued an apology during a livestream, explaining that she had always been introverted but hoped her dancing brought joy to others.

However, on November 24, her account was suspended for violating the platform’s “community regulations.”.

Supporters rallied around Wu.

Zhao Hejuan, founder and CEO of TMTPost, defended Wu, stating: “Allowing individuals to have equal and lawful opportunities to make a living is the greatest dignity society can provide. Wu’s expression of her gymnastics skills alongside her charm simply reflects her personal career aspirations.”

On December 1, Wu’s social media account was reinstated, and she gained 3.55 million followers in just one day, bringing her total follower count to 6.3 million at the time of writing.

Her story has resonated online, with many admiring her as a symbol of resilience.

One supporter remarked: “Despite being only 1.54 meters tall, Wu left home at 24 to pursue a teaching career, where she was unpaid, and later took a coaching role with a promise of tenure that never materialised.

“Ultimately, she turned to live-streaming to make ends meet. Her story is inspiring. The criticism she faced reflects double standards and a lack of understanding from those in more privileged positions.”

Others highlighted her dedication to public service: “Even when her salary was just over 2,000 yuan (US$280), she volunteered to help children with disabilities improve their balance and coordination. People in the charity community have praised her patience and sense of responsibility. Being a champion should be an honour, not a burden.”

Music Review: Blackpink K-pop star Rosé's debut solo album ‘Rosie’ is heartfelt, but slightly sleepy

Music Review: Blackpink K-pop star Rosé’s debut solo album ‘Rosie’ is heartfelt, but slightly sleepy

Image

This album cover image released by Atlantic Records shows Rosé’s debut solo collection, “Rosie.” (Atlantic Records via AP)

Rosé, the nightingale of the massively popular Korean girl group Blackpink, has flown the nest and launched her first solo album, “Rosie.” She’s the first of the awesome foursome to release a full-length solo record, and in English at that. Members Jisoo and Jennie have previously released singles, and Lisa is gearing up for her own studio album in 2025.

Across “Rosie,” titled after Rosé’s nickname to communicate a kind of personal intimacy, the singer goes to great lengths to detach herself sonically from her band. Unlike Blackpink’s high-energy electro-pop output, Rosé’s solo material is that of a coffeehouse dweller with a sideline in romantic drama. But don’t expect finger-plucked acoustic guitar balladry exclusively—”Rosie” is reserved in some moments, full of life in others.

The album starts off chipper with the soaring piano ballad “Number One Girl,” the cool synth-pop track “Two Years,” the dynamic, catchy Bruno Mars collaboration “Apt.,” and the contemporary Taylor Swift-indebted pop of “Toxic Till the End.” But it invariably slows down, preferring fairly stripped-back production throughout. She’s got the voice, and she’s flaunting it; it’s her prerogative to showcase her range at the expense of a more energetic beat.

Image

Across 12-tracks, the album studies heartache over lost loves (“It’s been two years and you’re still not gone/It doesn’t make sense that I can’t move on,” she sings on “Two Years”), missed chances (“Are we lovers or friends/’Cause it’s as good as it gets” in “Call it the End”), and ambivalence over situationships that probably should’ve been nipped in the bud but staggered along, strung by the power of lust and not much else. (That one is everywhere — particularly in the dubious boyfriends of “Toxic Till the End” and “Gameboy.”) Who can’t relate?

The album is an emotional rollercoaster easy to empathize with, stuffed with songs that articulate the trials and tribulations of early adult years—the search for connection and getting dragged into romances that lead nowhere. But throughout, fans of both Blackpink and Rosé might miss the spirited songs of her group.  After all, your 20s are for partying, too—not just heartbreak.

Jeon So-min, an actress known for her versatility in acting and variety shows, shocked fans as she revealed painful past experiences.

Jeon So-min, who often radiates laughter and energy, has shocked many when she opened up about the harsh experiences during her early career.

In particular, when she was a high school senior, Jeon So-min debuted in a 2004 MBC one-act drama. However, her path was far from smooth. She endured years of obscurity and even faced notorious treatment on set.

One particular director would strike Jeon So-min’s head harshly every time she made a mistake during filming. As a result, Jeon So-min later developed the unusual habit of hitting her own head preemptively if she anticipated an error. Shockingly, this only led the director to escalate his behavior, hitting her even harder.

The challenges didn’t stop there, as the actress had to endure poor working conditions, including carrying heavy equipment herself. In one absurd instance, the director demanded that she cook breakfast for him—a demand she quietly complied with while enduring the hardship.

Is Rosé (BLACKPINK) in love with handsome Cha Eun Woo?

Rosé’s ( BLACKPINK ) love life attracted attention when the female singer said that she brought her own stories to the album Rose, which will be released in December. Notably, in the 6 tracks that Rosé revealed via livestream, all were written about her toxic and painful love story. Therefore, many viewers wondered if Rosé was currently in a relationship or not.

Recently, appearing on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane, Rosé attracted attention when revealing her relationship status. When hearing an audience member confide that they were worried about themselves because their friends were all married, the BLACKPINK member shared, “I wonder why getting married and having a house is the standard of happiness. Many people have bad experiences in love. For me, I feel very happy; life is still fine even though I’m single.”  With the above sharing, Rosé officially confirmed that she is not in a relationship with anyone. Therefore, fans hope that netizens do not pair up or spread rumors that their idols are dating.

Over the past time, Rosé has been suspected of secretly dating handsome guy Cha Eun Woo for 3 years. According to a source from KoreaBoo, the two stars started dating in 2021. They have revealed their “lovestagram” and hung out together many times. The ASTRO male god even traveled all the way to the United States to support his rumored girlfriend at the world’s largest music festival, Coachella, in 2023.

On September 5, the suspicion that the two stars born in 1997 were dating once again exploded on social media. On their personal Instagrams, Cha Eun Woo and Rosé both posted photos of themselves attending an exhibition and taking photos with a work of art. Netizens questioned the two’s true relationship, claiming that Cha Eun Woo and Rosé were openly dating. However, so far, neither Rosé nor Cha Eun Woo have spoken out about the love rumor that has stirred up social media.
