What Sean 'Diddy' Combs said to Kanye West in phone call 'he didn't know was being recorded'

The two rappers enjoyed a conversation while Diddy awaits his criminal trial from behind bars.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Kanye West have been shooting the s**t over the phone as the former awaits his sex trafficking and racketeering trial from prison.

It comes as the College Dropout rapper and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian continue their feud over a new track (titled ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine’) featuring Combs and their 11-year-old daughter North West.

West, who sparked outrage with some Ku Klux Klan-style clothing earlier this month, is reportedly restricted from releasing the song as Kardashian has trademarked the child’s name.

In their conversation, which was recorded at an unknown date and allegedly without Combs’ knowledge, according to The New York Post, the 55-year-old had some strong opinions for West to digest.

A video obtained by The Shade Room sees Combs telling the 47-year-old: “When I get out there, man, I want to see you f*****g tear down the stadiums. I need to see you back on that stage, f*****g actually rapping and f*****g performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s**t.”

Combs was reportedly dialling in from the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, where he is currently being detained.

The music mogul, 55, has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, and is currently scheduled to face trial in May 2025. He’s denied all of the charges brought against him and pleaded not guilty to the three felony charges.

“Tell you real from the frontline. This s**t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful. You can’t do nothing for just… I need you out there, you hear me?” Combs added in the call.

“I hear you, yes, sir,” replied West, as the disgraced music mogul reiterated: “And have some f*****g fun. Get behind the mic, have some fun. Chop up them samples, get back on your hit man vibe. Have some fun, get back to smiling!

“F**k these other motherf*****s. They are wasting your time. Wasting your motherf*****g time. So, put that love in your heart, man, and enjoy yourself.”

Inspired by this passionate call to arms, West noted it was ‘time for me just to grab the mic again and get back on’.

“I love music again,” he revealed.

“Jump into your bag. We gonna have years and decades to fight these motherf*****s. Right now, enjoy your life,” Combs encouraged him. “This is coming from me, from God to you. Enjoy your life. Fall back in love like when you was making the beats. Have a good time and say, ‘F**k the world and all the bulls**t’ man.”

Referring to his multiple criminal charges that could result in more than 15 years behind bars, Combs later moaned: “This s**t is f*****g sad. I’m Puff Daddy in jail. When I get out and I get that f*****g freedom, woo. I am not caring about nothing but motherf*****g being happy. And I want you to feel that.”

He then thanked West for taking care of his children in the aftermath of his arrest last September.
