Pete Davidson issues important message after Ariana Grande exposed size of his manhood

Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson dated Ariana Grande in 2021, before going on to enjoy a brief romance with Kim Kardashian

Seven years on from a comment ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande made about his anatomy, and Pete Davidson is speaking out against double-standards in Hollywood.

For those in need of a reminder, the big-name couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance back in 2018, during which they got together, got engaged and broke up within the year.

During their short-lived relationship, however, fans could see that the pair were head over heels for one another – with singer Grande, now 32, writing several songs about 31-year-old comedian Davidson, and the couple even getting matching tattoos.

What did Ariana Grande say about Pete Davidson’s manhood?

Another viral moment, however, saw the ‘Thank U, Next’ star commenting on their sex life, after being asked by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), ‘How long is Pete’, in reference to the length of a song she’d dedicated to him.

Grande then quipped back: “Like 10 inches? …. Oh f**k …. I mean … like a lil over a minute.”

Despite the joke being made whilst the couple were together, in the years since, Davidson has condemned it on several occasions.

Once, as part of his Netflix special Alive from New York, he referenced Grande’s height of five-feet-three-inches, adding: “I don’t like that she talked all that sh*t for my penis. Everything is huge to her.

“Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis? So that every girl who sees my d**k for the rest of my life is disappointed.”

Why did it go so viral?

Another of the funny-man’s exes, Kim Kardashian, kept his hefty reputation afloat years later, gloating about his so called ‘BDE’ (or big d**k energy) during their brief 2021 romance.

During an episode of The Kardashiansthe reality TV star discussed how they met, telling fans: “I wasn’t even thinking, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking like, ‘Heard about this BDE [big d**k energy], need to get out there’.”

What important message has Pete Davidson now issued?

As we say, however, almost eight years on from Grande’s initial crude comment, Davidson has once again issued a pretty emotional statement on the matter, imploring with both fans and the media to stop obsessing over his anatomy.

Appearing on the Breakfast Club podcast last week, the SNL star began by discussing the harsh realities of dating in the spotlight, claiming his love life often impacted his early comedy career.

“I brought a lot of pop culture into the show and I made it sort of a tabloid-y, trendy thing and I was embarrassed by it,” he began. “Nobody talked about any of the work I was doing, they were like, ‘Oh that’s the fuck stick.’ That hurt.

“After a year or two, everybody [on the cast] saw how sad and embarrassed i was…nobody was ever outright mean, but it was sort of like…”.

Podcast host Charlamagne tha God then jumped in, asking Davidson what he had to be embarrassed about, and referencing that he was ‘banging a lot of chicks and had a 10-inch penis’.

It was then that the star responded with an important message.

“On paper, that sounds great,” he explained. “But it’s embarrassing. Because it’s Hollywood — everybody f**ks everyone. Everyone dates everyone. Why are they focusing on me?

“I’m not Glen Powell handsome. I’m just a dude who tells d**k jokes that is a drug addict. It had nothing to do with comedy.”

Davidson went on to explain: “But also, that stuff affects relationships… I don’t want to victimise myself in any way – because I’m cool – but the sexualization of me… If [I] was a girl, there would be a march for it. Seriously.

“You’re talking about my d**k all day? People do that on the Internet to, like, Sydney Sweeney or whoever, [but] there’s no radio hosts or news people…they don’t talk about girls like [that in major media outlets].

“[This] was professional. It was pointed out in the street.”
