As we quickly approach the end of 2024 (a daunting prospect, I know), Pornhub has released its year in review.
Earlier this month, the adult site revealed that one of the most searched topics with Gen Zers were ‘hentai’ and ‘vertical videos’.
Meanwhile, Boomers were apparently interested in ‘strap-on’ content and ‘gangbang’.

Now, more information has been released by Pornhub which has exposed people’s searches regarding fictional characters – movie and TV characters, to be more precise.
It appears as if this year’s findings aren’t hugely dissimilar to that of last year’s search history, either.
Batman is the 10th most search character, while Deadpool came in ninth.
Black Widow followed suit in eighth position, and The Incredibles rather concerningly was seventh.
Wonder Woman (likely to be Gal Gadot’s portrayal of the character) was sixth, as Harry Potter was fifth.

Avatar came in fourth, Game of Thrones in third, and Star Wars as second place.
Then, the top most searched character – by quite a bit – was Harley Quinn, who has been played by both Lady Gaga and Margot Robbie in recent years.
“This year, Harley Quinn took the top spot from Star Wars, no doubt because of the new Joker movie,” part of Pornhub’s press release read.
“In 2023, the two were neck in neck, but his year Harley Quinn took the lead by a wide margin. Game of Thrones, Avatar, Harry Potter, and Wonder Woman all remained in their respective spots from 2023.”
It went on to note that ‘lots of men in tights dominating the list’ and, while a lot of the searches were similar to last year, this year marks the first time Star Wars appeared on the list.

While these searches are some-what unconventional, professional sexologist Jessica Toscano insists that such fetishes are ‘normal’.
“Fantasy and kinks really go hand-in-hand, as kinks are essentially playing out fantasies,” she told Mail Online.
“Exploring kinks usually allows for more intimacy and pleasure in a safe, communicative, consensual environment.
“Ultimately, kinks are healthy to explore and can improve your relationship with your partner as long as communication and consent are top priorities.”
Like I said earlier: whatever floats your boat, folks…
