Elon Musk breaks silence as famous author claims she gave birth to his 13th child five months ago

The 53-year-old has responded to claims that he has fathered his 13th child

Elon Musk has now responded to claims that he has fathered his 13th child with author Ashley St Clair.

In a post shared to X on Saturday (February 15), St Clair – a public figure who wrote a ‘conservative’ children’s book in 2023 – announced the news that she had allegedly given birth to his 13th child five months ago.

The 26-year-old wrote: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.

“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

St Clair went on to ask the media to ‘honour our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting’, while adding that she wants her newborn to ‘grow in a normal and safe environment’.

She also captioned the post with Latin phrase ‘Alea Iacta Est’ which translates to ‘the die is cast’ and is often used to signify that a situation has passed the point of no return.

Her representative, Brian Glicklich, reiterated her claims in another statement shared on Musk’s social media platform.

“Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time,” he said.

“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashely and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.

“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledged his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”

If St Clair’s claims are true, Musk could seriously give the cast of Cheaper by the Dozen a run for their money.

However, the Space X tycoon didn’t exactly state a claim to the five-month-old in the middle of things when he finally broke his silence on the situation.

In fact, he had just one word to say in response to St Clair’s claims: “Whoa.”

Musk was responding to another tweet about St Clair from far-right activist, Milo Yiannopoulos, who claimed that she had ‘plotted for half a decade to ensnare’ him.

The Daily Mail claims that St Clair hit back at Musk’s blunt retort in another post, which has since been deleted, where she claimed she’d been ‘trying to communicate’ with him for several days but received no response.

Musk welcomed his first child back in 2002, a son named Nevada, with his then-wife Vivian Wilson, however, the tot tragically passed away at just ten-weeks-old.

The pair then welcomed five more kids into the world – twins Vivian and Griffin, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, 19.

The billionaire also shares three children with Grimes, as they share sons X Æ A-Xii (pronounced ‘X Ash A Twelve’) and Tau Techno Mechanicus as well as daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, the latter two of whom were born via a surrogate.

Musk also fathered twins Strider and Azure in June 2021 with Shivon Zilis, who were born slightly before Exa, and a third child, whose name has not been revealed, in 2024.

Brits warned about one light on car dashboard that means you should 'stop driving immediately'

Brits warned about one light on car dashboard that means you should ‘stop driving immediately’

Brits warned about one light on car dashboard that means you should 'stop driving immediately'

This isn’t one you can ignore

A man has said that you need to know the real reason why a certain light is coming up on your car dashboard, and reckons you should stop driving right away if it’s happening.

Scotty Kilmer is a YouTuber who seems to know quite a bit about cars and has all sorts of advice for his viewers on how to sort things.

He’s a man who reckons you should look to sell your car once it starts clunking as you change gear, though that’ll be a palaver for the buyer.

There are also some ideas he has for what to do in order to preserve your car’s transmission and avoid it getting into a state that needs fixing.

However, this time he’s got something else on his mind.

While he comes across as a somewhat shouty man, it seems as though he does have something important to shout about.

There may be lots of lights on your dashboard but the one he was really interested in this time was your battery light.

He warned that this was actually ‘false advertising’ as cars used to have an ‘ALT’ warning for the vehicle’s alternator, the thing that charges the car’s battery.

When the charging voltage gets too low, that makes the battery light come on to warn the driver that their battery isn’t getting enough charge to keep it running.

Scotty said that just because the battery light comes on it might not mean the problem is with the battery itself and another component could be the cause of the issue.

Nevertheless, if the light comes on while you’re driving then he reckons you need to stop immediately and figure out what the problem is before you go any further.

On the other hand, if the light comes on while your car is idling but switches off once you drive then the battery is ‘getting weak but you can still drive it a while before you have to replace it’.

“So don’t run out and buy a brand new battery just because the battery light is going on, it’s probably not a bad battery, it’s a bad alternator,” he declared to motorists in need of his advice.

Just because your battery light is on doesn't mean your battery is kaput (YouTube/Scotty Kilmer)

Just because your battery light is on doesn’t mean your battery is kaput (YouTube/Scotty Kilmer)

This is by no means the only piece of car-related advice he’s given over the years.

Another dashboard light he’s talked about is the ‘check engine’ warning, saying that if it keeps going off and on then it’s likely a minor issue that you don’t have to worry about immediately.

He said he’d ‘seen people spend thousands of dollars trying to track down a problem in their car’ when they had plenty of time to wait for it to get worse, while sometimes they’d even spend big money to replace parts that didn’t need fixing.

That’s not the official advice around the light, however, as the RAC says you ought to get your engine checked as soon as possible if the light comes on.

Gisele Bündchen Has Given Birth to Her 3rd Child After Divorcing Tom Brady — Who’s the Father?

After her split from Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen found a fresh start with a man who is not famous. Though rumors swirled that she’d been unfaithful to Tom with her current partner, the couple has consistently moved forward and has now welcomed their first child together.

Gisele Bündchen has given birth to her third child, her first with her boyfriend—a relationship she initially downplayed amid public speculation. This joyful news comes more than two years after her high-profile divorce from football star Tom Brady.

According to TMZ, the Brazilian model is very happy, and both she and her baby are healthy. The baby’s date of birth and gender have not been revealed. It was previously reported that the couple chose not to learn the baby’s gender before birth.

Gisele and Tom first met in 2006 and married three years later in 2009, building a family with their two children, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12.

Tom also has an older son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, whom Gisele warmly refers to as her “bonus child.” Though Gisele had already achieved career success by age 26, she felt prepared to embrace family life.

However, her marriage to Tom grew tense as his career continued to overshadow family commitments. In 2020, Tom admitted that Gisele felt he wasn’t doing his “part for the family,” feeling sidelined as he focused on football.

After initially retiring in 2022, the former football quarterback’s decision to return to the NFL reportedly left Gisele feeling “frustrated” and “hurt,” with sources noting that she wanted more family time.

By October 2022, after 13 years of marriage, they filed for divorce. The former couple finalized both custody and property arrangements, bringing their marriage to an official close.

Over a year later in June 2023, Gisele began dating fitness trainer Joaquim Valente, with a source confirming their relationship in February 2024.

“[…] They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other,” the insider added.

Although rumors suggested a longer history, insiders clarified that they met in December 2021. The supermodel first addressed speculations about Joaquim in March 2023, expressing her gratitude for him and his brothers, Pedro and Gui, who run a self-defense training program.

“I’m so grateful to know all of them, because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially,” said the mother of two.

“He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,” Gisele continued.

She and Joaquim were first seen together in Costa Rica in November 2022, though she initially denied any romance. Their friendship eventually blossomed into a relationship as he was a “huge comfort” for the fashion model amid her divorce, said a source.

However, their romance sparked rumors of cheating on her part after her split from Tom. Gisele denied the accusations, calling them “a lie” and pointing out the unfair scrutiny women often face when leaving “unhealthy” relationships.

Nearly 18 months post-divorce, she confirmed she was dating someone, noting, “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

Joaquim, who, like Gisele, is originally from Brazil and holds a criminology degree, shares many similarities with her. An insider described him as “down to earth, kind, and inspiring,” adding that dating Joaquim has felt natural for Gisele, who was initially hesitant to enter a new relationship.

The two share a love for Miami, travel, and healthy living, with the source noting, “Joaquim is perfect for her.” Gisele is reportedly in a great space and truly enjoying this new chapter in her life.

In June 2024, the lovebirds were seen together in Surfside, Florida, sparking curiosity amid rumors of a split. The two, dressed casually, looked cozy as they walked their dogs, with Gisele’s arm around Joaquim.

A fashion insider shared that the Brazilian native has been thriving since her split from Tom, feeling “secure and happy.” Reports suggested tension arose after a Netflix roast of Tom, which left Gisele “deeply disappointed” by its portrayal of her family. It reportedly added stress to her relationship with Joaquim.

However, just a few months later, in October 2024, exciting news emerged, revealing that Gisele and Joaquim were expecting their first child together.

A source shared, “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

That same day, Gisele, 44, was spotted in Miami with her German Shepherd, Alfie, dressed casually in a black cap, t-shirt, shorts, and white sneakers.

Wanting to ensure her family was informed personally, Gisele reportedly shared the news directly with Tom and their two children before it reached the media.

Sources revealed that the celebrity, sensitive to the potential impact, preferred Tom to hear it directly from her, ensuring openness within the family during this new chapter.

In November, Gisele and Joaquim enjoyed a lunch outing in Miami with her kids. The public figure dressed in a flowy beige top and cap, subtly covering her bump with a large tan handbag, while Joaquim kept it casual in a black T-shirt and shorts.

Gisele Bündchen’s journey into this new chapter reflects her dedication to family and personal happiness, embracing life’s changes with grace and optimism. Congratulations to the new parents!

The Britain’s Got Talent judge recalled the creepy moment during an interview with Alan Carr

Amanda Holden previously revealed that she’d had an uncomfortable encounter with disgraced TV presenter Jimmy Savile when she was a teenager while at the hospital.

Savile was posthumously unmasked to be a prolific sex offender in 2012, just a year after he had passed away. It was revealed that Savile had exploited his fame and power throughout his career in order to abuse hundreds of people throughout his life – most of them women and children.

A year after the sickening revelations came to light, Britains Got Talent judge Holden would reveal that she’d encountered Savile while visiting the hospital as a teenager.

Explaining the encounter during an interview with Alan Carr, Holden claimed that she was receiving treatment for an injury to her finger when the Jim’ll Fix It! presenter appeared from behind a curtain and made an inappropriate joke towards her.

“When I was 19 I was cutting a cake and I cut my finger – I’ve still got a scar,” she explained.

“So I went with my then boyfriend to the hospital and they stitched it up and they put a bandage around it… and then this man drew back the curtains and made this flippant remark that I’d tried to take my own life by slicing my finger.

Holden then went on to explain that while she didn’t see herself as a victim of Savile’s, learning about his harrowing crimes had led her to reevaluate the encounter.

“Do you know what?” she added. “I’m saying the story flippantly because, at the time I was a student, and for me it was just like, ‘what a bizarre story’, and I went back to drama school and told everyone and there was no serious weight to it or anything.

“I am not like those poor people that he has…” she trailed off, hinting at some of Savile’s horrific sex offences over the years.

The full extent of Savile’s shocking crimes were revealed by former detective-turned-investigator Mark Williams-Thomas in ITV’s documentary Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile.

Five major updates in Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively defamation trial as co-stars' lawsuits go to court

Five major updates in Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively defamation trial as co-stars’ lawsuits go to court

Five major updates in Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively defamation trial as co-stars' lawsuits go to court

It will be some time before they end up in court

While it’ll be some time before Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni actually end up seeing their cases against each other go to trial, there’s still a lot going on.

Their lawyers faced off in court earlier this month, though the date for their trial isn’t until March 9, 2026.

If you’re new to this, then here’s the quick version: Blake Lively starred alongside Justin Baldoni in the movie It Ends With Us, while he was also directing the film and helping produce it.

Back in December last year, Lively filed a lawsuit suing Baldoni for sexual harassment and claiming he engaged in a campaign of ‘social manipulation’.

Baldoni hit back the following month by filing a countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist in which he accuses them of defamation and hijacking the production of It Ends With Us among other things.

Each side has denied the allegations the other has made about them, and there’s been a few updates in the recent days.

Lively’s subpoenas

It seems as though the real winners from this whole thing are going to be the lawyers hired to launch each salvo Lively and Baldoni’s camps want to send at each other.

Deadline reports that Blake Lively’s team has launched subpoenas against US mobile phone carriers AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon along with AOL, Cloudflare Jed Wallace in order to try and get the full picture of what messages were sent.

Lively’s representatives said that they’d sent the subpoenas as they claim that the information published on a website did not contain everything.

They said: “Ms. Lively has initiated discovery that will expose the people, tactics, and methods that have worked to ‘destroy’ and ‘bury’ her reputation and family over the past year.

“We will now receive all of the ‘receipts’ that, unsurprisingly, are nowhere to be found on Mr. Freedman’s website, and like Ms. Lively, those ‘receipts’ will have their day in court.”

Baldoni’s reps said sending subpoenas was an ‘ordinary part of the litigation process’, but hit out at what Lively’s team wanted to obtain, saying: “They are asking for every single call, text, data log, and even real-time location information for the past 2.5 years, regardless of the sender, recipient, or subject matter.

“This massive fishing expedition demonstrates that they are desperately seeking any factual basis for their provably false claims. They will find none.”

The extension

While the actual trial date is a long way off and currently set for March next year, Blake Lively recently requested to a court that they be granted an extension until March 5.

Her camp wants to file an amended lawsuit, and the deadline for doing so was February 14.

Lively’s request to put the deadline back until next month was rejected, and she was instead granted four more days, meaning that February 18 will be her new deadline for the amended lawsuit.

Wayfarer’s response

It’s not only Lively’s team that wanted an extension, as according to Law&Crime Network Baldoni’s Wayfarer team had said they too wanted one as a result of the Los Angeles fires.

They reported that Wayfarer filed a letter saying they had ‘no objection’ to Lively’s team having an extension, but accused them of having ‘refused to consent to an extension of time’ for Wayfarer.

Wayfarer claimed that on January 7, Lively’s team attempted to ‘serve a member of Baldoni’s team while they attempted to evacuate’ the fires ‘with their small child’.

In the same letter, they said that if Lively got her March 5 extension then they wanted a deadline to respond of April 16.

The decisions and delays

While a judge extended the time Lively’s team back to February 18 instead of the March 5 date she wanted, her team was also given extra time to file a motion to dismiss and now has until March 20 to do it.

With more time to submit her amended lawsuit and file to dismiss the suits against her the next month or so, she looks likely to be busy.

Beyond that, there’d still be a year to go between the March 20 deadline to file a motion to dismiss and the actual date they’d end up going to trial, though that is still subject to being moved around.

The Jed Wallace of it all

Earlier this month, Lively was the subject of a lawsuit from Jed Wallace, a crisis publicist who Lively’s lawyers claim was hired by Baldoni’s team and allege that his firm ‘weaponised a digital army’ against her.

He’s the owner of PR firm Street Relations and faces the allegation that he used ‘a digital army around the country from New York to Los Angeles to create, seed and promote content that appeared to be authentic on social media platforms and internet chat forums’.

In Wallace’s lawsuit, his representatives claimed that Lively had ‘no facts supporting the allegations’ and is suing her for $7 million.

This whole thing seems likely to rumble on and on.

“The Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner and actor Timothée Chalamet’s BAFTA appearance had social media users talking—but some saw more than just a couple.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet turned heads at the 2025 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards at The Royal Festival Hall in London on February 16. Their stylish entrance sparked both admiration and criticism online.

Jenner stunned in a black halter-neck dress with delicate embellishments, a plunging neckline, and a thigh-high slit. Chalamet opted for a sleek all-black suit with a minimalist design. The pair held hands throughout the evening, exuding effortless glamour.

While some praised their red carpet moment, others focused on their contrasting looks. One user remarked, “She’s way too pretty for him. He looks like a 12 year old boy next to her [sic]. 😂” Another added, “Middle aged mother and son [sic].”

However, not all reactions were negative. A supporter defended the stylish duo, “So many unkind people. I adore him and wish them the best.”

Amid the online chatter, Jenner and Chalamet attended the star-studded evening celebrating the best in film.

Doctor warns common driving habit could be major sign you have ADHD

Doctor warns common driving habit could be major sign you have ADHD

Is this something you’ve noticed yourself doing?

A doctor has said there’s a very common driving habit which could indicate whether or not you have ADHD.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a lifelong neurological condition which impacts how a person concentrates in their day-to-day life.

The disorder, which often causes difficulties with a person’s ability to concentrate, is traditionally diagnosed in childhood. However there has been an uptick in adults seeking a diagnosis over recent years.

Statistics from ADHD UK estimate that around 2.6 million people in the UK are living with the condition.

As our understanding of ADHD develops, people with the condition are beginning to notice more and more about how their brain chemistry plays a role in daily tasks — with one doctor revealing a common link he’s noticed between the disorder and driving.

Psychiatrist and TikTok creator Dr Steven Storage has built a large following by sharing his knowledge on a number of health-related topics, which includes ADHD.

So how can the ADHD impact our driving habits? Well, if you were to ask Dr Storage, he would look at how often you use navigational devices in the car.

“Here is one of my favourite subtle signs of ADHD,” he began. “If you have driven to the same place 50 times and had navigation on every time, you may have ADHD.”

Now this may sound a little bizarre at first, but Dr Storage went on to explain that it’s less to do with how your brain remembers directions and more about the brain needing a ‘cue’ for things such as changing lanes and exiting a road.

“Otherwise, they might get trapped in their head,” he added.

Dr Storage isn’t alone in his observation either, with several users in the ADHD subreddit agreeing that using a navigational system helps them focus on driving, which in turn allows them to feel safer behind the wheel.

Several commenters were also in agreement, with one person commenting: “I do it to my mother’s even though I know how to get there.

“Navigation ALL the time, otherwise I’ll end up at home and totally miss where I was supposed to go,” a second added.

However, it’s important to note that this experience won’t be universal for everyone with suspected or diagnosed ADHD and doesn’t take into account that some people may just prefer driving with a satnav as a preference.

“I do it to be notified of traffic delays & so I can report speed traps,” a third viewer wrote, while another added that they like to see what their expected arrival time at a destination is.

This Star Celebrates 3 Decades of Happiness with Her Younger Husband – Her Inspiring Story & Photos

From meeting her husband on stage to leaving Hollywood and raising her family, this actress redefined success on her own terms. Take a look at her remarkable journey and what she’s been up to in recent years.

Born in New York City on February 8, 1949, to Rosalind, an actress, and Robert Kaufmann Adams, a CBS executive, this Hollywood star’s journey into showbiz seemed predestined.

Her childhood was steeped in the arts, with her father heavily involved in musicals. “My father had a tent in Michigan where he staged musicals, and we spent our summers there,” she recalled.

“In Manhattan, we lived in a townhouse and Lynne [her sister] and I slept in what was the parlor in the house. The piano was in there and we’d often wake up in the morning to somebody auditioning in our bedroom and a line of actors out in the hall,” the actress added.

Her love for acting was nurtured early, with performances alongside her sister and education at prestigious institutions like the High School for the Performing Arts and the School of the American Ballet.

“I loved acting. I never went to college. I just assumed I was gonna act,” she said. Her passion for the craft eventually led her to Hollywood in 1974, armed with what she called “a burning desire to get into the movies.”

She achieved that dream quickly, with roles in films like “Car Wash” in 1976 and “Shock Waves” in 1977. However, her big break came in 1978 when she starred opposite Richard Gere and Sam Shepard in “Days of Heaven.”

She reflected on the experience, “I knew it was extraordinary when we were making it and that I’d never have another experience like it and I was right. I was offered lots of stuff after that — and looking back I have to say I didn’t handle things so well.”

She landed roles in a few more films and television projects, including “Family” in 1976, “Moonlighting” in 1985, and “Thirtysomething” in 1987.

However, while her rise to fame was extraordinary, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood eventually wore thin. By the late 1980s, she had shifted her focus to the stage, where she found greater freedom.

“When I think about doing a film — just being in the makeup chair can be an ordeal, and in front of a movie camera, you find yourself worrying about whether you’re wrinkling your brow. Those things aren’t an issue onstage,” the star remarked.

But the transition wasn’t entirely her choice. “I’m treated like an old discarded shoe,” she once quipped, lamenting how the industry sidelines older actresses.

In the end, it wasn’t just fulfillment that she found on stage — it was also love. While doing the play “The Heidi Chronicles” in 1990 in New York, the actress’s castmate ended up being her future husband, actor Tony Shalhoub.

Although he was four years younger than her, their connection was undeniable. Shalhoub had first admired her from afar, watching her in “Days of Heaven.”

“Tony and I met doing a play. We were instantly drawn to each other, but he had a girlfriend, and he was a gentleman. However misguided I thought his loyalty was, I was very impressed,” she shared.

“I really wanted to go out with him, but he was honorable, which I thought was a good sign,” she added. Their romance only blossomed a year later when Shalhoub moved to Los Angeles.

Their connection was instant, but it wasn’t just chemistry that drew them together. “It was kind of an immediate chemical reaction. And also, Josie was a toddler—,” Shalhoub recalled, referring to the actress’ daughter whom she adopted in 1988.

“Ooh yes, Josie picked Tony, and he fell for her big time,” Shalhoub’s partner interrupted. He added, “There was this instant feeling that this was going to be it, there would never be any other person for me.”

The actress had also avoided large commitments before meeting Shalhoub. “We were both single and had steered clear of marriage,” Shalhoub explained. “Once [she] came into my life, the rest of my life just improved so vastly, and so quickly, it was an immediate turnaround.”

After just two months, he proposed, and they tied the knot in April 1992. “When I got married, it was the first time since I was 16 that I didn’t have to support myself,” she reflected.

However, while her personal life flourished, her professional one didn’t as it became harder and harder to find work the older she got.

“I was going to award shows with him [Shalhoub], and they were pushing me out of the way to get a picture of him. It was horrible. That’s when I said, ‘I’ve got to just say I’m not an actor anymore’ because at least that will feel like I’m taking charge,” the actress revealed.

“Then there was a moment when I actually said, ‘Damn it, I’m leaving.’ Sort of hoping that everybody would say, ‘You can’t! You can’t!’ And nobody did. I think it’s especially hard for someone who was really considered a beauty,” she said.

The “Days of Heaven” star continued, “It’s just very hard to suddenly become invisible when you walk on the street, not to get those looks from men — all of that stuff that you kind of take for granted and pretend you don’t care about or don’t like, but you rely on a lot.”

Yet, she embraced this new chapter, prioritizing family. The couple expanded their family when they adopted their second daughter, Sophie.

“It’s such a weird thing to be a mother. Being a mother is more like being wallpaper. It’s not being the center of attention. And so I think for a woman who’s a mother, it is very hard to be an actress, to get all excited about yourself in the center seat,” she explained.

When the actress officially bid farewell to show business in the 1990s, she was in her 40s. “I tried to bring her out of retirement,” the actress’s longtime friend, actor Caroline Aaron, said.

“I’ve sort of dedicated the last few years to my children and don’t really go up for parts anymore,” the star admitted. She further noted, “Of course, I’d love to do another film, but I’m trying to adjust to the idea of not doing that because it’s too brutal a way to make a living.”

In the end, Aaron’s efforts were not entirely in vain. The “Days of Heaven” actress occasionally appeared in small roles over the years, including on her husband’s hit show “Monk” as well as working with him on other projects.

She also made her way back to the stage. “[…] It’s been fun to be on stage again. It gave me a new desire to do it,” the actress said.

“This is the most competitive business in the world, and there are so many young, beautiful, talented actresses that it’s a miracle I’ve worked at all,” she noted.

As of 2024, she spent her days writing a memoir, painting and showing her work to the world, and even found herself an agent. The actress is also a grandmother, as her husband revealed in 2020 that their eldest daughter was expecting.

This actress is none other than Brooke Adams, who has gained admiration in recent years for her timeless beauty and enduring marriage. “You are so beautiful,” one social media user commented.

Another typed, “This beautiful woman!” As for her marriage, one person shared, “One of the GREAT couples ❤️” while another wrote, “What a couple!!” “Looking great as always!” another person commented on a snap of the loving celebrity pair.

From her unforgettable performance in “Days of Heaven” to her choice to prioritize family over fame, Adams’ story continues to inspire. She recently celebrated her 76th birthday on February 8, 2025, marking a life rich with artistic achievements and personal fulfillment.

The Weeknd fans baffled over how his speaking voice sounds

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye might just have released his final album as ‘The Weeknd’

Fans have been left reeling after hearing The Weeknd’s speaking voice – and it certainly wasn’t what they expected.

The Weeknd – Abel Makkonen Tesfaye to his mother – is primarily known for his silky smooth vocals, and not many of us have caught a glimpse of what he sounds like during his downtime.

The singer, who turns 35 tomorrow (February 16), released what may well be his final studio album as The Weeknd last month after previously vowing to ‘kill’ his alter ego.

He told W Magazine in 2023: “It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close the Weeknd chapter.

“I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.”

The singer, who hails from Canada and is currently working on a new movie called Hurry Up Tomorrow with Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega, sent fans spiralling when they heard what his speaking voice sounds like.

Well, with four Grammys, three MTV VMA awards and a reported net worth of $300 million, I’m not sure The Weeknd has much to feel bad about outside of his moody music.

A third wrote: “The fact that he sounds and looks so much like Trevor Noah is hilarious. You’d think they are siblings.”

While a fourth simply said: “This guy is arguably the most famous singer alive right now and we barely get to hear him speak.”

Once he’s finished his birthday celebrations, The Weeknd will be hoping his upcoming movie will be met with a warmer reception than his much-mocked appearance in HBO’s The Idol.

Hurry Up Tomorrow, set for release next May, is an extension of his album of the same name, which dropped in January.

The official plot description reads: “A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence.” Blimey.

The movie is based on an original idea by the singer, and is co-written and directed by Trey Edward Shults (Waves, It Comes At Night).

Most importantly though, it might give The Weeknd fans a rare opportunity to hear him speak again.

The 2024 YR4 asteroid has a chance of it hitting Earth in 2032

NASA’s James Webb Telescope is set to take a look at the ‘city-destroying’ asteroid which could hit Earth in 2032.

The asteroid, known as ‘2024 YR4’, was discovered by NASA’s Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) in Chile on 27 December, last year.

The chances of 2024 YR4 colliding with Earth

Current estimates have measured it between 40 and 90 meters (130-295 feet), with a 2.3 percent (one in 43) chance of colliding with Earth on 22 December 2032.

However, NASA has said that 2024 YR4 ‘has surpassed the one percent impact probability’, previously mentioned by Paul Chodas, director of NASA’s Centre for Near Earth Object Studies.

“We are not worried at all, because of this 99 percent chance it will miss,” he said. “But it deserves attention.”

Why NASA is using the James Webb Telescope

But with this higher probability of collision, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will be used to get a much more accurate estimate of the asteroid’s size.

The JWST is the scientific successor to the Hubble Space Telescope and its ultimate goal is to study the formation of galaxies and stars after the Big Bang.

“It is very important that we improve our size estimate for 2024 YR4: the hazard represented by a 40m asteroid is very different from that of a 90m asteroid,” the European Space Agency explains.

“Webb is able to study the infrared light (heat) that 2024 YR4 emits, rather than the visible light it reflects. Infrared observations can offer a much better estimate of an asteroid’s size.

“This, in turn, will be used by ESA, NASA, and other organisations to more confidently assess the hazard and determine any necessary response.”

What happens if 2024 YR4 collides with Earth?

Given that 2024 YR4 is capable of an explosion equivalent to eight-megatons of TNT – which is 500 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima – it could wipe out an entire city.

As things stand, the asteroid’s ‘risk corridor’, the most likely geographical area it could impact, is from South America across the Atlantic Ocean to sub-Saharan Africa.

What we could do to protect the planet in event of a strike?

NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission proved to be a success in 2022, as they intentionally managed to crash a spacecraft into an asteroid as method of deflection.

The mission was a first-of-its-kind, and the DART spacecraft collided with Dimorphos, shortening its orbit by 32 minutes.

But volcanologist Dr Robin George Andrews has warned on X: “You need 10 years or more to build, plan and execute an asteroid deflection mission

“We have less than eight years to potentially deal with it, if needed.

“But we don’t have much time, and we don’t have enough info about this rapidly fading asteroid to properly inform our planetary defence decisions yet.”
