Perhaps best known by many for playing Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education, the 30-year-old is currently starring as Chelsea in the third season of The White Lotus.

She’s the partner of Rick (Walton Goggins), as the pair seem to be on odd terms with one another as they turn up for a ‘holiday’ at the Thailand resort. But towards the end of Monday’s (24 February) episode, we got to see a bit of a softer side to their relationship.

During earlier parts of the two episodes so far, the couple with a 22-year-old age gap, seem to bicker with the very positive Chelsea often calling him ‘old’ and ‘grumpy’.

But in this sex scene, things are far more gentle and intimate as the Wood’s character sits atop of Goggins as he pulls down her top.

With the actor nude on camera, he slowly undresses her, stroking and kissing her breast before they start kissing as it cuts to the next scene.

And Wood has since opened up about filming the scene as she said the intimacy coordinator, Miriam Lucia, followed her and Goggins’ lead.

“She’s so informed by us. She’s like, ‘You tell me your vision for this scene, and I will make sure that we can execute that in a safe way where everyone’s happy,’” the star told ELLE.com.

So, the actors essentially ‘designed’ their characters’ sex scenes in the show with Wood saying intimacy coordinators’ are ‘absolutely essential’ on set.

When it came to playing Chelsea and Rick, the Daddy Issues star explained: “We were like, ‘This is what we think should happen. This is why we think it’s important.’

“Because we don’t see a lot of tenderness from Rick to Chelsea the rest of the time.”

She added that they wanted to make sure when the characters are physical and intimate, that we get to ‘see the love’.

“We don’t want it to be like a fucking gratuitous [sex scene]. We wanted it to be very tender,” Wood said.

The actor then had a career first when Lucia showed her the scene afterwards to get her approval.

Recalling the conversation with the intimacy coordinator, Wood explained: “[She said,] ‘I just want you to watch it. And I want you to know that if you are not happy, we can change it.’

“That was the first time that had ever happened, that someone had straight away been like, ‘Come in this room and watch it.’ She’s like, ‘Obviously it’s your body.’ It’s still a big deal. Nudity is still a weird thing.”

Plus, creator Mike White offered to cut anything out that the star wasn’t comfortable with.

Chad Franke, the eldest child of convicted child abuser Ruby Franke, has spoken out for the first time about his childhood with the former YouTuber.

Franke, 43, and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt were convicted of four counts of aggravated child abuse. The pair were arrested in August 2023 after Franke’s son, who was then 12-years-old, escaped through a window and fled to a neighbour’s house.

Both Franke and Hildebrandt will serve between one to 15 years for each count they were convicted of.

Ahead of the release of expose documentary Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, which premieres on Hulu on 27 February, Franke’s eldest son Chad and ex-husband Kevin have spoken out about their experience in a new interview with PEOPLE.

“I definitely hate the things she did,” Chad said, revealing that he currently has no contact with his mother and ‘doesn’t plan to anytime soon’.

While he doesn’t rule out having contact with Franke in the future, the 20-year-old added that she wouldn’t ever be a mother or grandmother figure in his life.

“It’s hard,” he said. “But when I go home, I [don’t] feel like anyone’s missing… it doesn’t feel wrong not having her in my home and that’s okay. I feel like [I’m] in a good spot.”

Chad also opened up about having to move out of his family home and away from his younger siblings. “I was also required to move out of the house and never contact my siblings and never go back home,” he explained.

The 20-year-old then revealed that concerned neighbours had reached out and offered to buy him a car after noticing he was relying on a bicycle in order to get to school and work, an offer he was told to decline by Hildebrandt.

“Jodi, she wanted my to live a very physical, straining and mental straining life while I was out there,” Chad explained, clarifying that he was 17 and living alone at the time. “That was her mindset when it came to repentance… That was a really hard year, physically and emotionally.”

Helen Keough had noticed the ulcer underneath her tongue last summer and believed it was due to her being ‘busy and run down’.

Explaining it ‘just felt like ulcer pain’ without ever considering it could be a sign of cancer, she said she’d been to the pharmacy for it and it ‘kept going for a bit and then coming back again’.

However, the 44-year-old began to get concerned when it didn’t just clear up after a few months. She says the GP told her to go to the dentist, where they filed her teeth down as it was thought they were irritating her tongue.

“But four weeks later it was getting so much worse,” Keough explained. “It got to the point where it was waking me up at night and it hurt to eat. It was just so sore. I was losing weight at the time and was very tired.”

She was then referred to hospital for a biopsy but claims she had to wait to receive her results, revealing the sore was in fact a tumour.

“By the time I got my results and was told it was cancer, it had been four weeks,” the Chelmsford woman said. “I didn’t fall apart or anything, it was very much ‘what are we going to do next?’ I didn’t really understand how aggressive it could be.”

Keough then sought a second opinion at a private hospital, where she was told it was stage-two tongue cancer and she needed to have her lymph nodes removed.

She ended up undergoing an operation to have 6cm of her tongue removed followed by a recovery period where she needed to learn how to talk and eat again.

“The surgery was extremely hard to get through. Because tests show this cancer has a very high chance of coming back, they want to give me radiation just in case anything was left behind,” the woman added.

Having ended up undergoing a tracheotomy and skin graft surgery to make a new flap for her tongue, she is now urging others to always advocate for themselves.

“Radiation for head and neck cancer is life-altering, more so than surgery,” Keough said. “If the GP, dentist, or hospital had done their job, I could’ve had this dealt with straight away and not been at the stage of facing radiation.”

The woman reckons if she hadn’t gone for a second opinion, she ‘would’ve been dead within a year or two’.

So, claiming she was ‘let down at every turn’, she added: “Now I’m telling everyone if you spot anything in your mouth that doesn’t go away naturally in a few weeks to go to your GP.”

Diane Sarkar, Chief Nursing and Quality Officer for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are very sorry that Helen’s care fell below the standard she should expect. We are in contact with her and investigating the issues raised. This is an open complaint and we continue to keep Helen informed and are providing support.”

The pair were performing their song ‘First Love’ with Marcin at the Premio Lo Nuestro awards on 20 February in Miami as they got pretty up close and personal.

While Will has been married to Jada Pinkett Smith for over 27 years, she revealed in 2023 that the pair have actually been separated since 2016.

But fans still think it’s ‘inappropriate’ for how flirty his performance was with Martínez at the Spanish-language awards show which honours Latin music.

Will danced up close to the star for the romantic song, in an appearance that really had the energy of a noughties R&B performance of a singer and rapper teaming up.

And it’s probably important to remember, it was a performance, and in that sense, a performance featuring an actor.

The Fresh Prince star seemed to be in his element with the Spanish singer who, at one point, kept singing into the mic as she placed her hand on the back of his head, pulling his face in close to hers.

Some viewers reckon the pair kissed at this point, but it does seem like Martínez was still singing, so it would have had to be a very, very quick peck.

Fans said he was ‘living life’ and they ‘love to see it’ as one commented: “Go ahead Will live your life bro!”

And in one backstage snap, the singer seemed to have jumped into Will’s arms, wrapping her legs around his waist as he hugged her back and smiled.

But this didn’t sit right with everyone, as some fans said it was ‘inappropriate’ and said he’s ‘the worst’.

However, one pointed out: “This man is an actor and has kissed plenty of women who is [sic] not his wife, he is a paid entertainer this is legit his job.”

Plenty defended the allegation they ‘kissed’ too, as they said: “If you actually look. You can tell the attempt was a joke. They never actually kissed. The 2nd attempt when she came back still no kiss he leaned his forehead down as to get their lips further apart and backed away.”

Three-year-old Madeleine McCann vanished while on holiday with her parents Kate and Gerry McCann in Portugal’s Praia da Luz region in 2007 and, despite numerous high profile searches, authorities haven’t been able the work out what definitively happened to the missing girl.

The case has since generated numerous conspiracy theories over the years, with several young women coming forward and claiming to be Madeleine. Most notably Polish woman Julia Wandelt, 22, who was recently arrested and charged with stalking the McCanns after landing in the UK last week.

Now, a second woman in the US has come forward claiming to be the missing child.

Sharing her claims in an interview with the MailOnline, 22-year-old Eugenea Collins says that suspicions about her parentage occurred after she ran into issues with being able to secure ID.

“I am unable to get any kind of identification. I couldn’t even get any help from the people at the red cross when my house was burned because I have no identification,” Collins, from Arkansas, told the outlet.

“I have never seen an original birth certificate neither. The only thing I saw had someone else’s name wrote on it and they marked that out and wrote mine above it.”

Like Collins and Wandelt, Madeleine was also born in 2003, meaning that she would also around the age of 22-23 today. However, Collins’ claims to be the missing child have since been met with suspicion online, as several people have pointed out that she’s missing the signature eye defect with Madeleine had called coloboma.

“She doesn’t have a mark on her eye and she has photos that seem to be from younger than maddie was when she went missing,” one person wrote in a Reddit thread discussing the topic.

“She has shown pictures of herself at 1 or 2-years-old and she doesn’t seem to have an eye mark at all,” a second person added.

Collins has since shared DNA results with revealed she has largely British and Northwestern European heritage, however, this doesn’t link her to the McCann family.

The 22-year-old also made the bizarre claim that the man she believed to be her father is actually the German suspect in the case, known as Christian B.

Collins added that she initially believed she was Madeleine after seeing an interview with Wandelt on US talk show Dr. Phil.

“If it wasn’t for me seeing her on the Dr. Phil show I would’ve never known. In a way her stupidity actually helped me find my family,” Collins told the outlet, claiming that she became suspicious after not being able to locate her original birth certificate.

Known as the ‘Deep Blue’, she belongs to a group of sharks known to be one of the largest predators in the ocean.

Only the whale shark, which can grow to be as long as 60 feet, and the basking shark, around 40 feet long, are larger than the great white, capable of growing up to 20 feet.

but given that the other two are whales, the great white is certainly the most predatory fish around.

Just knowing that the shark in Jaws was one of them is enough for me.

So, when footage of one this large water animal does the rounds, which it frequently does, it attracts quite a bit of attention.

This footage was captured back in 2015 by shark expert and marine biologist Mauricio Hoyos Padilla.

Spotted off the coast of Mexico’s Guadalupe Island, Deep Blue seems remarkably unbothered as she floats past some divers, two of whom are inside a relatively flimsy-looking cage, but one who seems altogether too exposed for many people’s liking.

As you can see, the huge female shark makes the divers look tiny, clocking in at an estimated 20 feet long.

The scientists have further guessed that the shark was around 50 years old at the time and seemed to be pregnant.

That made her even bigger, with one report claiming that she had the ‘girth of a small elephant’.

While sharks can be a bit scary to those who don’t understand them, most of the people who commented on the video seemed to be simply in awe of the creature, calling her ‘majestic’ and ‘beautiful’.

Unfortunately, we don’t know whether Deep Blue is still alive after the years that have passed, but there’s no reason why she wouldn’t be.

According to the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, great white sharks can live anywhere between 30 to 70 years in the wild, so there’s every chance that Deep Blue is floating around somewhere still.

The clip recently resurfaced – see what we did there? – on Reddit, where hundreds of people commented on it once again.

One said: “We’re going to need a bigger ocean.”

Another wrote: “Deep Blue. She’s such a beauty!”

A third commented: “Way too impressive, beautiful!”

That’s the sort of reaction we should have to these sharks, to be fair.

They very rarely attack human beings, and even then it’s usually an accident.

Yet, they are threatened – currently listed as ‘vulnerable’ globally and ‘critically endangered’ in Europe.

As you can see, this huge shark has no interest in attacking the divers, and – believe you me – it looks like it could if it wanted to.

Space is a mysterious thing – the vast unknown that is constantly expanding away from us holds a lot of unanswered questions.

Scientists have been studying the stars and the night sky for centuries and centuries, but there’s still so much we don’t know.

Are we alone? Is the Earth flat? OK, maybe we know the answer to the latter, but humanity hasn’t even stepped foot on another planet yet.

Cox has even given his take on the whole (absurd) Flat Earth theory.

Spoiler – he thinks it’s a load of rubbish.

The British physicist has previously also hinted at the fact that aliens may not be real after all, and explained what could happen to a human if they were to be sucked into a black hole.

But in a YouTube video for BBC Earth Science titled ‘Brian Cox On The Most Terrifying Places In Our Solar System’, he revealed the one thing he loses sleep over when it comes to our ever-expanding universe.

When asked what he thought of the ‘possibility of discovering alien life’, Cox answered: “I would be delighted if we found life elsewhere because I feel it would take some of the pressure off.”

The 56-year-old added: “My fear, the thing that keeps me awake at night, is that life is extremely rare in the universe and complex life is so rare that we might be the only planet in the Milky Way galaxy where complex life exists currently.”

Cox went on, explaining that it’s a ‘guess’ and a ‘possibility’, not claiming it to be fact.

“I’m not saying it definitively because we don’t know so if that’s the case,” he highlighted.

The physicist added that if there was someone or something else out there, and if a flying saucer landed on the interview they were carrying out in London, he’d be ‘relieved’.

“[I’d be] like, ‘thank God that it’s not only down to us now’, because you know, we’re not making a very good job of it,” he claimed.

While scientists are still exploring space, there is still no concrete evidence pointing towards extraterrestrial life within our solar system, or beyond it.

Despite admitting that he thinks within our galaxy, Cox has theorised about the idea of aliens on social media.

After speaking about Voyager 1 and how spectacular it is that it can be fixed from Earth, he received sarcastic comments from some users, which he labelled as ‘stupidity’ and an example of our ‘increasingly dim-witted civilisation’.

Cox then spoke about the Fermi Paradox, which is the contradiction between the lack of evidence for extra-terrestrial beings in the universe against the high estimates of their probability.

“Until recently my guess has been that the answer to the Fermi Paradox might be found in biology – complex biological systems are rare. I’m increasingly of the view that the reason for The Great Silence is that civilisations are inevitably crushed by the weight of n**heads shortly after inventing the internet,” he concluded in his well-known sarcastic tone.

The passenger in question was attempting to board a flight from Cartagena, Colombia to Amsterdam when Anti-Narcotics Police stopped him in his tracks at security on 20 February.

The male suspect, 40, from Pereira, allegedly had over 220 grams of cocaine stuffed under his wig, worth $10,000. Watch below:

Cartagena police said in a translated statement: “In the controls deployed by the National Police during the boarding of national and international flights, units of the Anti-Narcotics Police captured a Colombian citizen who intended to board a flight to Amsterdam (Netherlands), with cocaine capsules camouflaged in a wig.

“Thanks to the expertise of National Police officials, through surveillance and profiling of passengers, the capture of a person from the city of Pereira (Colombia) and the seizure of 19 cocaine capsules, camouflaged in a wig that the individual was wearing, was achieved.”

The force noted that the capsules were subjected to the Approved Preliminary Identification Test (PIPH), and tested positive for cocaine.

“According to the flight plans of the captured, 40 years old, he intended to travel to Amsterdam (Netherlands), where he is presumed to carry the alkaloid,” they added.

“With this important result, it is possible to affect criminal finances and avoid the marketing of more than 400 doses of cocaine, valued at more than 10,000 euros (more than 40 million pesos), in international markets.

“The person indicated presents two judicial annotations for the crime of drug trafficking.

“The captured person was made available to the Attorney General’s Office, for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotic substances.”

The commander of the Metropolitan Police of Cartagena, Brigadier General Gelver Yecid Peña Araque, said that – this year alone – more than 450 people have been arrested for drug trafficking.

“We are giving forceful blows against these criminal structures that not only dispute the local drug trafficking, but also generate different violent acts and other types of crimes that alter tranquility and coexistence,” he said.

“We continue to insist on the importance of the community being our main ally, we provide timely information, which helps us identify and locate criminals.”

This comes after a drug-smuggling gang was jailed in December after £200 million worth of cocaine stuffed in a shipment of bananas was intercepted.

The capture made it the UK’s largest haul of the drugs at the time.

Crime boss Petko Zhutev was in charge of the operation which planned to bring in the Colombian drugs to a London warehouse in February 2021.

He was unaware it had already been seized by border officials and, ultimately, he was jailed at the Old Bailey for 27 years alongside four others.
