Animals are great, dogs are great and we all love them, but we all don’t showcase that love in the same way…

The British reality TV star has certainly shown some appreciation for her dog in a way that doesn’t sit right with her fans.

Sharing a joint Instagram post with Butternut Box, a pet food company, on August 22, she introduced the brand’s new YouTube series, Walkies, but that isn’t what had people so concerned.

Pattison was also joined by her dogs Max and Milo and a woman called Aisha.

But it was the moment when one of the dogs started licking the inside of Pattison’s mouth, and then she opened her mouth wider, that turned the stomach of viewers.

Aisha also admitted to doing it after calling Pattison ‘gammy’ for the act.

Pattison then said: “I’m so sorry. Like, you know, it makes them happy,” before opening her mouth wide to let the dog go in for another lick.

People on social media were a whole lot less forgiving and understanding and many people voiced their shock and horror at hearing the pair do this regularly.

As you can imagine, despite having many fans, Pattison didn’t have a lot of defenders, including those who love their own dog a whole lot.

Writing on her Instagram post, many made it clear where they stood on the TV star tonguing her dog.

One user wrote: “Omg Vicki no!!! I loved my dog more than life itself, I wouldn’t mind her liking my nose/face or hands etc. I’d also kiss her above her nose & her head, but there’s no way I would ever let her kiss me by licking my lips & definitely not by licking inside my mouth.”

Another wrote: “I love my dogs more than anything but after seeing them licking their bits I couldn’t.”

With a third adding: “This is so disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria.”

And another writing: “I think u r great and love your stories but for god sake why would u do this, dogs carry so many parasites from eating all sorts while out on walks let alone licking their own backsides, just wrong.”

With another simply commenting: “That is actually so disgusting and unhygienic. It’s so wrong on so many levels.”

Pattison’s husband Ercan Ramdan also showed up in the comments, writing: “The dogs get better kisses than me.”

Alternatively, you could easily put the starting point of the war earlier, since Putin’s Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine back in 2014 and then supported pro-Russian separatist groups in the Donbas region.

Once again we arrive at the conclusion that Vladimir Putin started the war in Ukraine, even if he denies it.

So why is he saying otherwise?

According to Putin, it was actually Ukraine that started the war when they responded to Russian-backed paramilitary groups, which seized several towns in the Donbas in April 2014.

According to Metro, The Russian president made his shocking claims during a visit to Sarov, a closed town where the Soviet Union developed their nuclear weapons.

They report that he insisted ‘there is propaganda working’ in the West for the purposes of ‘brainwashing people and claiming that we started the war’.

Putin said the West and Kyiv were ‘forgetting that it was they who started it in 2014 when they used tanks and aviation against the peaceful population of Donbas’.

“That is when the war began, and we are doing everything to stop it,” he added.

He also reportedly claimed that people in the Western world liked him and Russia, which doesn’t tally with findings from a study from the University of Cambridge which found that Russia was among the most disliked countries in the West, with 87 percent of people holding a negative view of it.

Ever since he started hostilities with Ukraine, Putin has repeatedly made false claims about Ukraine including allegations that their government is fascist and that he was launching a ‘special military operation’ to ‘de-Nazify’ the country.

Given his status as the aggressor and the propaganda machine he uses to his advantage, Putin is not beholden to the truth when speaking to Russians about what he is doing.

Some inside Russia have said that most of the populace believes Putin’s propaganda, with new censorship laws passed shortly after the 2022 invasion of Ukraine to clamp down on sources of information which would contradict the Kremlin’s line while independent news outlets were forced to close down.

The Russian president last week visited the US for talks with Donald Trump over his idea of what peace in the war would look like, with him demanding Ukrainian territory, a block on Ukraine joining NATO and for Western troops to stay out of the country so they cannot provide security guarantees against a possible future invasion.

Following those talks, Russia launched one of the largest bombardments it has made against Ukraine this year.

Maxwell, who remains behind bars after being found guilty of child sex trafficking in connection with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein in 2021, recently sat down with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Speaking over two days to Blanche at FCI Tallahassee low security women’s prison in Florida, she spoke about multiple high-profile people, including Musk.

When asked about the tech billionaire, she said she met Musk in either 2010 or 2011 at a birthday party.

She explained: “We were — or a bunch of us, I don’t even remember how many we were, but not many of us.

“[We] went to another friend’s island… Epstein, he was not there… And we were there together for, I want to say, three or four days, something like that in my memory. And Mr. Musk was present for that.”

Maxwell also spoke about whether she had met Kimbal Musk, Musk’s brother, to which she responded: “I don’t know if I’ve ever met him. I know that he has a brother, and I don’t think I met him.”

“And do you know whether Mr. Epstein knew Mr. Musk?” Blanche asked.

To which she responded: “I believe they did. And the only reason I say that is not from my memory, but because I saw — I think I saw — my memory is that in discovery, they were communicating on email.”

Maxwell clarified she did not know that information personally, adding: “I don’t — my — like I said, my memory is not — it’s not as good as I would like it to be,” she said. “And I just want to say that.”

Maxwell also spoke about Trump, explaining she never witnessed Trump doing anything inappropriate.

“I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way,” she said.

“The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

On Friday (August 22) Trump explained there could be ‘people in the Epstein files that don’t deserve to be there’.

“The DOJ is sending some of the Epstein files over to the House Oversight Committee. Are you in support of them releasing them?” A reporter asked Trump.

The president responded: “I’m in support of keeping it open. Innocent people shouldn’t be hurt.

“You have a lot of people that could be mentioned in those files that don’t deserve to be because he knew everybody in Palm Beach.

“I have said to Pam and everybody else, give them everything you can give them, because it’s a Democrat hoax, the whole Epstein thing is a Democrat hoax.”

The Trump administration has been facing mounting pressure in recent weeks to release the so-called Epstein files of the late convicted pedophile, with theories that they contain an alleged ‘client list’ of the rich, famous, and powerful.

It’s been more than five months since Attorney General Pam Bondi said the files were sitting on her desk and waiting to be released, though the Department of Justice announced shortly afterwards that it would not release any further files related to the case. The DOJ added that no such ‘client list’ exists.

However, the Trump administration made a U-turn on the matter, announcing that all the FBI files, including the grand jury testimony, will be released.

Jamie Lee Curtis has issued a response after an outfit left many of her fans ‘distracted’.

The Freaky Friday star is certainly no stranger to memes, and the 66-year-old has addressed many of them head on in the past.

Curtis is a no nonsense kind of character, so she was of course going to issue a cheeky response to a viral video of her discussing Freakier Friday, the much anticipated sequel to the 2003 classic that released in cinemas earlier this month.

The Oscar winner wore an outfit that she described as a costume for her Freaky Friday character, Tess Coleman.

“Forgive me, I’m distracted,” one person penned in the comments to the Instagram video posted by Disney Studios as it quickly went viral and memes came to light.

Well, Curtis issued a response to all the news earlier this week as she posted a photo of herself in the outfit doing the peace sign.

The actor captioned the post with: “LOVE the fact that the LAST photograph of me as TESS taken backstage in costume from my surprise appearance at @elcapitanthtre to support #freakierfriday has gotten more attention than any other since the announcement post with @lindsaylohan that sparked the movie getting made!

“HAPPY TO HELP SPREAD THE JOY THAT OUR MOVIE SERVES!”

The release of Freakier Friday sees Curtis reunited with Lindsay Lohan 22 years after the original movie released.

Speaking with People last month, Curtis admitted her colleague is someone she can really ‘trust’.

“If I tell her something, it’s gonna stay with her,” she said. “We’ve both been through hard things, ’cause we’re alive and life is hard. And we’re not dead yet. So the truth of our experience together, it belies all of the kind of showbizzy stuff.

“We connected, and we really stayed connected. And that is special and rare for me.”

Lohan returned the compliment, saying of Curtis: “I have to feel safe around people. And Jamie is one of those people for me. Like, I feel very safe with you. I feel safe telling you things.

“Jamie was with me at a time in my life when I was going through a lot publicly. She was privately really there for me.”

And Curtis is seemingly on hand with advice, with Lohan detailing her colleagues words of wisdom on the set of Freaky Friday back in the day.

“You said, ‘The way you show up to set every day depicts how everyone’s day is going to go. And you set the tone. So leave everything or anything that there may be at home’,” Lohan recalled.

Kylee Monteiro, from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, was reported missing by Rehoboth Police on August 7.

The teenager was three months pregnant at the time of her disappearance, and after a two-week intensive search, her 22-year-old boyfriend, Gregory Groom, was arrested on Tuesday (August 19).

After his arrest, human remains believed to belong to Monterio were discovered on his property in his backyard.

The charges against Groom include murder, assault and battery on a pregnant victim, aggravated intimidation of a witness, juror, police or court official and assault and battery on a family or household member in connection with Monterio’s death – which he has pled not guilty to at his arraignment in Taunton District Court on Wednesday (August 20).

According to prosecutor Jason Mohan, it all began on August 8 when Groom came to the police and reported Kylee missing.

Mohan said that Groom claimed to investigators that Kylee had just left a residential program, took a rideshare to his home on August 6, and was looking to stay with him.

It was then, he says, that she also told him that she was pregnant with his child.

Following this, Mohan says, an argument allegedly broke out about where Kylee could stay, and afterwards, she sent a text to her sister, which was read aloud in court (via CBS News).

It said: “He threw me on the ground and pulled my hair and strangled me. My phones at 4 percent, if I die it was Greg.”

Upon his arrest, Groom was interviewed again by police, where Mohan claims he admitted to having an argument with his girlfriend, pushing her and claimed that she fell back and hit her head.

He was then allegedly asked where her body was buried and drew a ‘rudimentary map’ of his home and where her body lay.

Mohan also claimed that Groom then told investigators that he’d killed Kylee after an argument, stabbing her three times with a kitchen knife, once in the chest and twice in the neck.

Upon inspection of the property, officials discovered a patch of dirt which appeared to be recently disturbed, where they located the body.

An autopsy is set to go ahead to give a final confirmation of death. Groom is currently being held without bail and is due back in court for a probable cause hearing on September 10.

Carl Westcott sold his property in Santa Barbara to Perry – via her business manager Bernie Gudvi – back in 2020 for $15 million.

However, days later, the veteran tried to go back on his decision, arguing he hadn’t been of ‘sound mind’ at the time of the sale.

Westcott suffers from the neurological condition, Huntington’s disease, which is an inherited condition that gets worse over time.

It affects movement, memory and thinking and cannot be cured.

A lawsuit followed, but a judge ruled in favor of Perry and said there was evidence demonstrating that Westcott was ‘coherent, engaged, lucid, and rational’ when signing the contract.

Perry then countersued Westcott, claiming that he owes her $3.25 million in damages because she was unable to rent out the property between September 2020 to March 2024.

An additional $2.29 million has also been added as they claim the property needs to be restored to the condition it was purchased in. The trial was split into two parts and resumed on Thursday (August 21).

Now, actor Chris Pratt has been dragged into the ongoing drama, due to the fact he is currently renting the property from Perry.

Westcott’s legal team has reportedly asked the judge to question Pratt on the damages associated with the property.

Court docs seen by Fox News Digital explain: “Now, just before the Phase 2 Trial, there is new, never-before disclosed evidence that Perry has rented out the Westcott Property to the actor Chris Pratt and his wife (the daughter of Maria Shriver, who the Court will recall from Cristal Clarke’s Phase 1 Trial testimony was bidding against Perry in 2020 to buy the Westcott Property, which is why Perry increased her original $13.5 offer to Westcott to the agreed-on $15 million price).

“The $2.29 million in estimated repairs was bogus and Perry was able to rent the Westcott Property as-is to Chris Pratt (for what some have rumored to be $150,000 in rent just for this summer).”

Legal expert Christopher C. Melcher explained the claims to Fox News, adding: “Westcott’s defense is that the home could not have had mold and other major issues because Perry rented the place to Chris Pratt.

“But repairs could have been made by Perry before renting the home to Pratt,” he noted. “If so, the subsequent condition of the home when Pratt was a tenant is not relevant to what the home looked like when Perry got the keys.”

Westcott’s son has also recently spoken out about the ongoing court battle, telling the New York Post: “Katy could’ve walked away at any time with grace and humanity. Instead, she has chosen to fight a dying man in court, all for money. OK, that’s who we’re dealing with here. He is bedridden. He has late-stage dementia and Huntington’s. His ability to speak kind of ebbs and flows. Some days are better than others.”
