Man took up comedian's offer after she begged stunned audience for 'someone to come home with her'

This man took up a comedian’s offer to head home for some company

When you go to a comedy set, you’re never quite sure what to expect. You have to go in expecting anything, including hecklers or the comedian bombing.

But you might not expect the person on stage to try and pick somebody up from the audience.

Well, that’s exactly what attendees at Kell Fire’s gig got.

The American comedienne worded her request for company in an open-ended way, seemingly to save face if she didn’t get any takers.

Fire was wrapping up her gig at an intimate venue when she threw out the call to her viewers.

Maintaining a deadpan expression on her face, the funny woman said: “Does anyone just like want to go home with me tonight? I’m serious.”

Most people seemed too stunned to respond, but a ‘woo’ went up from the crowd. Standard audience behaviour so far.

But one man took things a step further by asking: “Are you serious?”

In a seductive tone of voice, Fire responded: “Yeah. Do you want to come home with me tonight? Come on!”

The audience started getting revved up and began applauding as the audience member shouted: “Let’s go!”

Looking pretty pleased with herself, Fire linked arms with the keen spectator and could be heard saying: “I’m going to go and make myself feel better.”

That’s one way to do it.

Social media users couldn’t resist commenting on the unusual event and flooded the post with comments after a clip of the interaction was shared to Instagram.

One person said: “Why doesn’t this happen when I got to comedy shows?”, as another wrote: “I support this. We’d all be happier if this happened more often.”

And a third joked: “Is that included in the normal ticket price?”

It appears that Fire planned the seemingly impromptu event ahead of time.

In the video’s caption, she wrote: “Thank god he was a professional, it could have turned out very differently.”

Given that she also dabbles in OnlyFans, this comment could imply the man in the audience was a fellow content creator.

It could also just mean he was really good in the bedroom, who’s to say?

But with adult film star Tony Fontana tagged in the clip, that seems to confirm the post’s hidden meaning.

Over on X, Fire confirmed that the whole thing was a publicity stunt.

She wrote: “VID SOLD! Ended my set asking the audience if someone would come home with me. They came to my car and then on my face.”

Slim Shady responded to Billie Eilish’s fears in a way only he could

Everyone’s scared of something, whether it be heights or spiders. But some fears are a little more niche than others.

Celebrity phobias definitely fall into that category. Take the woman with a Michael Jackson phobia as an example of that.

But it turns out that fearing a famous face isn’t reserved for those of us living outside of Hollywood.

Even celebrities like Billie Eilish get a bit jittery around household names.

The person she’s afraid of? None other than Eminem.

And he had the perfect reaction to hearing about this.

The Birds of a Feather singer first made the revelation during an interview with Noisey a few years back.

She said: “I was scared of Eminem. My whole life. Always. I, dude, terrified. That dude freaked the f**k out of me. Oh my God.”

Whilst nobody would want to end up on the wrong side of the rapper, a phobia might be taking things a little far.

Once word of this fear got to Eminem, he decided to respond in the only way he knew how – by inserting his response into a song.

In ‘Alfred’s Theme’, he rapped: “Homicidal visions when I’m spitting like this / But really I’m just fulfilling my wish of killing rhymes which is really childish / And silly, but I’m really like this, I’m giving nightmares to Billie Eilish.”

It’s not clear whether or not these lyrics helped soothe Eilish’s fears.

Fans online had a lot to say about the whole situation, with many finding it hilarious.

There were some people who even confessed that Eilish scared them more than Eminem.

One YouTube user said: “All her music videos are creepy as hell and Eminem’s the one giving her nightmares??!!!”

To be fair, we can’t help being scared of certain things.

For example, there’s people who are terrified of the ocean. Thalassophobia affects approximately nine percent of all adults, and can severely impact some people’s quality of life.

There’s also chromophobia, which is the fear of colours.

One man opened up on TikTok about his experiences with the fear, which has forced him to live in a bedroom completely deprived of colour.

His colour-lacking room features plain white bedding, white furniture and even black-and-white polaroid photos stuck up on the wall. His designer black water bottle sits on his desk alongside a white AirPods case, a black charging stand and various black and white accessories.

Here’s hoping that Eilish can quash her fears of Slim Shady. Maybe a collab would be good motivation?

Woman who lived in Home Alone house during filming reveals what it was like

A real house that had a real family living there during the filming of Home Alone

A woman who grew up in the real life Home Alone house during the creation of the 1990 Christmas classic movie has revealed what it was really like at the time of filming.

For many, it is the greatest festive film ever made and embodies everything about the festive spirit (paint cans and irons to the face aside, maybe). And the warm fuzzy feeling that the film gives many is personified in the house at the centre of filming.

Home Alone follows Macaulay Culkin, who plays eight-year-old Kevin McCallister as he defends their family home in suburban Chicago from the Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern).

It sees Kevin turn their huge, idyllic home into a boobytrapped jungle of painful goings on for the hapless criminal duo.

And the home is a very real property worth £4 million just outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Currently in the process of being sold for millions of dollars, it has had a huge makeover since its 1990 days.

But go back 34 years and you had an actual family living in the property. Among those living there, in the wealthy neighbourhood of Winnetka, was Lauren Abendshien.

Now 40 years old, she was six at the time of the film being made.

Recalling what life at the house was like during the months of filming that took place there, she told ITV’s This Morning that they actively lived in the house while filming was happening.

She said: “We stayed in the house pretty much the entire period, which was about four or five months.

“In order to avoid appearing onscreen, we would have to crawl around the window line from room to room.”

The house regularly hosted crew and cast during downtime, too, with Macaulay Culkin and younger brother Kieran spending a lot of time indoors.

Abendshein said: “They would spend time in the house when they weren’t filming their scenes.

“Macaulay Culkin used my room to study with his tutor and his brother [Kieran], wasn’t filming as much, so he would just hang out in my room.”

On the success of the film, the Abendshien family said it was ‘something special’ but that they couldn’t have imagined just how big it has become.

“It was very surreal when the movie came out and all of a sudden it’s holiday season in 1990 and it was an endless row of cars and people wanted to see the house and take photographs and that was very new to us, but we grew to love it and we shared the magic of the movie,” she said.

While external shots of the house were the real deal, a lot of the internal shots were actually from somewhere two miles down the road.

The film’s indoor scenes were shot at New Trier Township High School, an abandoned property that was big enough for the production to create the appropriate sets and a sound stage, with director Chris Columbus unable to do the stunts inside the house due to the space needed for the film crew.

Fans are mindblown after realising something about the black and white movie

Home Alone fans are losing it after they have made a realisation about the movie within the movie within the Christmas classic.

It is hard enough to find new things to talk about for any film nowadays with the prevalence of social media, but even harder than that is finding something new to say about one of the most talked about films of all time.

As such, when someone finds something new to say about Home Alone, fans were always going to lose it.

One such fan took to TikTok to share some facts about the film, and they really range in interest.

‘Fuller is actually Macauley’s younger brother’ is a sentence that should be offensive to any Succession fans, and Joe Pesci avoiding Macauley on set to appear meaner is a very well-known story nowadays.

Alas, one slide blew fans away, as they revealed the black and white movie in the film isn’t even real.

Angels with Filthy Souls is the name of the black and white movie that Kevin watches in the film and eventually uses to scare off both a pizza guy looking for payment and the Wet Bandits.

The iconic ‘keep the change you filthy animal’ unfortunately isn’t from some gruff 60s or 70s gangster film, it is an actual fact entirely made up for Home Alone.

One fan commented: “It broke my heart when I found out the gangster movie wasn’t real.

“I thought it was some classic movie from the black and white era.”

Another commented: “IT’S NOT A REAL MOVIE???”

A third said: “I’m actually disappointed that the movie Kevin put on isn’t real”.

Seth Rogen even tweeted: “My entire childhood, I thought the old timey movie that Kevin watches in Home Alone (Angels With Filthy Souls) was actually an old movie.”

Christopher Columbus, the film’s director who went on to helm the first Harry Potter film, said in an interview with Business Insider that he believes that the lighting contributes to why people think it’s a real film.

He said: “Home Alone’ is one of the last films shot with an old carbon-arc lighting system that was popular back in the 1940s through 1960s for Technicolor films.

“We also shot the ‘Angels with Filthy Souls’ scene the same way.

“That richness of black and white made it look like a movie from that era and I think that’s why some people think it’s a real movie”.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Columbus even revealed that they shot the entire set of scenes for the fake gangster film in just one day.

The highly anticipated sequel will land on Netflix in 2025

It’s been 30 years since Adam Sandler last played the titular failed ice hockey player turned golfer however he’s stepping back into the role once again alongside a bunch of celebrity cameos. In the teaser clip we see Gilmore stepping back onto the green before an unnamed character played by Kansas City Chiefs star and Mr Taylor Swift himself tells him: “It’s great to see you back.”

The teaser also confirmed the film will be hitting the streaming site at some point in 2025.

“Have a HAPPY New Year with HAPPY GILMORE 2. Coming to Netflix in 2025,” the streaming site wrote alongside the teaser on Twitter.

Netflix confirmed news of the highly anticipated sequel earlier this year, with Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen and Benito Martínez Ocasio all confirmed to appear.

Dennis Dugan, Allen Covert, and Ben Stiller will also be reprising their roles from the original film.

There will also be a number of celebrity cameos in the film, with Eminem and Dan Patrick confirmed alongside Kelce.

Sandler had confirmed Kelce’s cameo during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (via Deadline) back in August, telling the host: “We have a nice something for Travis. He’s gonna come by.”

Going on to share praise for Kelce more generally, he added: “He’s a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”

Sandler previously teased production back in September, sharing a photo of Happy’s famous jersey alongside the caption: “It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun.”

McDonald also confirmed that a draft of the film had been written during an interview on the Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima, telling the hosts: “I saw Adam about two weeks ago. He says to me, ‘McDonald, you’re gonna love this’,” he continued. “[And] he shows me the first draft of Happy Gilmore 2.”

Fans were of course overjoyed by the Christmas Day announcement and were unable to hold back on their excitement in the comments. “Guys WE DESERVE THIS,” one person wrote, while a second added: “BEST NEWS TO START THE WEEK WITH.”

“Best Christmas present ever,” a third person added.

Bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell died in a bear attack in 2003

Warning: This article contains content which some readers may find distressing

Timothy Treadwell’s tragic final words before he and his girlfriend were eaten alive by a bear have been revealed.

The bear enthusiast, originally from New York, was best known for documenting his life amongst them in Alaska’s Katmai National Park.

His obsession with the grizzly mammals started at a young age, when he would head to Alaska on camping trips with his family.

He would often play with and even touch the bears while out there, years later making the decision to live with them every summer.

Whilst he was repeatedly warned of the dangers, it didn’t stop his annual visit up until his death in 2003.

Just hours before he and his girlfriend Amie Huguenard were due to fly back home via seaplane, the couple were mauled to death by a bear.

The ‘Grizzly Man’ managed to record the brutal attack, and as the couple didn’t have time to remove the lens, there was six long minutes of chilling audio captured, documenting their deaths.

The audio begins with Amie asking if the bear is still out there, before Timothy screams: “Get out here! I’m getting killed out here!”

The tent zipper can be heard as Amie rushes out, shouting for her boyfriend to ‘play dead’.

There’s a whole lot of screaming and shouting as it seems the bear releases Timothy from its grip and Amie heads over to help. But as soon as she does that, the animal apparently clamps its jaws around his head again and he starts to scream for his partner to ‘hit the bear’.

Amie tells him to ‘fight back’ as she attacks it with a frying pan. Following a series of screams, the tape then runs out, capturing the couple’s final moments.

Willy Fulton – who was their air taxi pilot for the flight home – knew immediately what had happened when he landed at Katmai National Park.

Typically, he would find them waiting at the shore to be picked up, but instead there was an eerie silence and the ‘meanest looking bear’ standing on top of a pile of human remains.

The tent was found collapsed and torn alongside their unopened evening snack. A ranger spotted fingers and an arm in a 3ft-high mound of grass, mud and twigs, alongside some other remains. Nearby, what was left of Timothy’s head was found.

In the following years, a documentary about their death was made by Werner Herzog: Grizzly Man.

Home Alone 2 director Chris Columbus has lifted the lid on Donald Trump’s inclusion

Award-winning director Chris Columbus has revealed the real reason why Donald Trump’s cameo was kept in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

The 1992 sequel, watched around the world at Christmas time, sees Macaulay Culkin return as Kevin McCallister, who accidentally boards the wrong flight during a family trip to Florida.

He famously ends up in New York City, all on his own, with his father’s credit card.

After checking in to the Plaza Hotel, owned by Donald Trump, Kevin yet again crosses paths with Harry and Marv (played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), who have freshly escaped from prison.

The second movie also sees Catherine O’Hara and the late John Heard return as Kevin’s parents, as well as Tim Curry and Rob Schneider, starring as hotel staff.

We all remember the scene (20th Century Fox)

We all remember the scene (20th Century Fox)

But perhaps the most memorable cameos of all time sees the future US President briefly encounter Kevin in the hallway of his hotel to give directions.

However, in a 2020 interview with Business Insider, the director claimed that Trump only let the crew film there if he could be included in the movie.

“Like most locations in New York City, you just pay a fee and you are allowed to shoot in that location,” Columbus explained.

“We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn’t rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage.

“Trump said OK. We paid the fee, but he also said, ‘The only way you can use the Plaza is if I’m in the movie.’”

After keeping Trump’s cameo in for the initial screenings, it was the reaction it got that made up Columbus’ mind.

“When we screened it for the first time the oddest thing happened: People cheered when Trump showed up on-screen. So I said to my editor, ‘Leave him in the movie. It’s a moment for the audience,’” he added.

Responding to claims that he ‘bullied’ his way into the movie, the politician took to his social media platform Truth Social to respond in 2023.

“They rented the Plaza hotel in New York, which I owned at the time. I was very busy, and didn’t want to do it. They were very nice, but above all, persistent,” Trump insisted.

“I agreed, and the rest is history! That little cameo took off like a rocket and the movie was a big success, and still is, especially around Christmas time.

“People call me whenever it is aired.”

The best Christmas movie of all time has been revealed and you've probably never watched it

Spoiler, it’s not Die Hard

From How the Grinch Stole Christmas to Love Actually and from Home Alone to Elf, we’ve all got our favourite movie to flick on at Christmas.

But apparently none of those are the ‘best of all time’. And no, it’s not Home Alone 2.To be honest, you might be pretty surprised by the film topping Rotten Tomatoes’ ‘Best Christmas Movie of All Time’ ranking – in fact, you’ve probably never even watched it.

Don’t worry though, I’m not going to keep you guessing as you’re listing out all of the Santa Clauses and Netflix festive feel-goods.

The film review-aggregation site goes back to a film from a whopping 80 years ago to name its number one.

Meet Me in St. Louis sits pretty proudly with a ‘Certified Fresh’ rating with 100 percent on the Tomatometer and 87 percent from audiences on the Popcornmeter.

Yep, I bet you’ve never even heard of it, have you?

The musical starring Hollywood jewel Judy Garland from all the way back in 1944 apparently beats out all the other classics – old and new.

And get this, only about 25 minutes of the film takes place during Christmas time.

However, it’s still praised as a ‘Christmas classic’ by many.

It's the best, apparently... (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer)

It’s the best, apparently… (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer)

Meet Me in St. Louis is a classic MGM romantic musical comedy that focuses on four sisters (one of whom is the nonpareil Judy Garland) on the cusp of the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair,” reads the movie info.

“The film spotlights the sisters’ education in the ways of the world, which includes, but isn’t limited to, learning about life and love, courtesy of the prototypical boy next door.

“In the end, love – accompanied by song, dance and period costumes, all in glorious Technicolor – conquers all.”

Yeah, interesting. But fair enough, it’s a classic, I guess.

And weirdly, the second-best Christmas film on the list is even older; The Shop Around the Corner from 1940.

And then the third best zooms all the way forward to a much more recent movie, The Holdovers which landed in UK cinemas at the beginning of this year.

Starring Paul Giamatti, it’s about ‘a cranky history teacher at a remote prep school’ who ends up having to ‘remain on campus over the holidays with a troubled student who has no place to go’.

The other films listed from fourth to tenth best are: Tangerine (2015), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Little Women (2019), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Klaus (2019), Carol (2015) and It’s A Wonderful Life (1946).

Oh, and good news for the ‘Die Hard is a Christmas film’ debaters, that comes in at 11th place.

But I don’t care what anyone says, it’s Nativity!, Home Alone and The Holiday all the way for me.

Nope, according to Rotten Tomatoes, none of those absolute bangers of films are the ‘Best Christmas Movie of All Time’.

And it’s not Home Alone 2 either.

I could keep you guessing really, and I’d be surprised if you actually got it right – and nope, it’s none of the Santa Clauses or the bop-filled Nativity!

According to the film review-aggregation site, the number one Christmas film is from nearly 80 years ago.

Meet Me in St. Louis is said to be the best Christmas film.

Yeahhh, interesting. But fair enough, it’s a classic I guess – even if a lot of us have probably never heard of it, let alone seen it.

Some celebs are required to get down and dirty while filming

Some Hollywood A-listers have been required to get it on for real during filming.

It’s rare that you come across a modern rom-com that doesn’t have a few raunchy scenes littered throughout.

Take The Holiday with Jude Law and Cameron Diaz as an example. But despite looking realistic, a lot of the intimate moments are as a result of very clever camera work.

However, there is another world in which actors are required to get intimate for real, and several celebs have been open about their experiences. So, without further ado…

Robert Pattinson in Little Ashes

While he’s best known for his roles in Twilight and Batman, Pattison has also played numerous edgy roles throughout his career.

One particular scene in in 2008’s Little Ashes has Pattinson pleasuring himself for real on camera as he believed that faking such things ‘doesn’t work’ as far as authenticity goes.

Speaking to Interview magazine in Germany, he told them: “My orgasm face is recorded for eternity.”

Aubrey Plaza in The To-Do List

During an interview with Conan, the Recreation star revealed that her role as Brandy in 2013’s The To-Do List involved masturbating on camera.

“In my head I envisioned a nice scene where you just see my hand slowly go out of frame,” Plaza said of shooting the scene.

But it turns out that assumption was way off the mark.

“I thought I was doing one thing and when I showed up it was a whole different thing, it was a full body shot and I asked the director ‘what should I do’ and she said ‘masturbate like it says in the script’.” Eeeek!

If you’ve seen the 2009 movie, you’d be forgiven for thinking that you actually saw leading actors Dafoe and Gainsbourg having sex.

Indeed, unsimulated sex does happen in the film, but the bits you can’t fake were actually performed by body doubles.

According to director Lars von Trier, Dafoe was ‘too well endowed’ – which he believed would leave audiences ‘confused’. However, this question was later put to Dafoe himself where he revealed the real reason they had doubles for the unsimulated sex scenes was that ‘Charlotte and I are both married and I’m not sure everybody would be cool with that’.

Chloë Sevigny and Vincent Gallo in The Brown Bunny

2003’s erotic drama The Brown Bunny proved to be highly controversial as it included a scene where Sevigny performs unsimulated oral sex on Gallo – a move which was received negatively at the time.

In a 2011 interview with Playboy, she noted that the scene was ‘very complicated’.

She said: “There are a lot of emotions. I’ll probably have to go to therapy at some point. But I love Vincent. The film is tragic and beautiful, and I’m proud of it and my performance.

“I’m sad that people think one way of the movie, but what can you do? I’ve done many explicit sex scenes, but I’m not that interested in doing any more. I’m more self-aware now and wouldn’t be able to be as free, so why even do it?”

2004’s 9 Songs is branded one of the most sexually explicit films of all time – as it sees actors Kieran O’Brien and Margo Stilley engage in multiple sex scenes.

Reflecting on the movie 20 years later, Stilley told LADbible that she stands by the film to this day, despite facing heavy backlash over the years.

“It’s a shame that it’s been torn apart into these little pieces and bastardised online, to be honest,” she said.

Her first reaction when her agent told her that her part in erotic 2005 drama Lie with Me would require not just nudity, but also live sex on camera, was to ask: “Are you kidding?”

As part of her audition she had a chemistry test with co-star Eric Balfour, and ‘there was apparently chemistry’.

Kerry Fox and Mark Rylance in Intimacy

The 2001 film took it’s title quite literally.

There was an unsimulated oral sex act in the movie, and Rylance said the film was the ‘most difficult job’ he took in large part due to that scene.

“Hanif Kureishi’s writing couldn’t have been more intimate and revealing, but I found the making of the film and the subsequent publicity and personal attacks very, very painful. I wish I hadn’t made it.”

Producer of Nymphomaniac Louise Vesth, explained to The Hollywood Reporter that body doubles were used for the sex scenes in the movie, and then digitally imposed that over the actors.

“We shot the actors pretending to have sex and then had the body doubles, who really did have sex, and in post (production) we will digital-impose the two,” she explained.

“So above the waist it will be the star and then below the waist it will be the doubles.”

The gesture would normally carry a fine in the 10s of 1,000s of dollars

Beyoncé’s NFL halftime show has caused some division amongst viewers after she performed a banned gesture during her performance.

Of all the news stories to come out of the NFL Christmas Day fixtures last night, who’d have that Beyoncé would be the biggest focus? Now I say it, it actually seems very likely.

Donning a white cowboy hat and bedazzled bodysuit, Queen Bee pulled up during the half-time of the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens game, which was broadcast on Netflix, to perform a medley of her hits – including ’16 Carriages,’ ‘Blackbird,’ ‘Levii’s Jeans’ and ‘Texas Hold’ Em’ from her critically-acclaimed ‘Cowboy Carter’ album.

However, the singer pulled a move that saw some viewers get a bit miffed about during her performance of ‘Texas Hold’ Em’.

The gesture in question was a finger gun – using her thumb, index or middle finger to mimic a gun – while the words ‘Bang’ were revealed behind her.

Whilst this may seem harmless, it is a gesture that would ordinarily earn any NFL athlete a fine, which was pointed out on Twitter by one person.

They said: “Is the @NFL going to fine @Beyonce for finger guns?!’”

Another said: “Was thinking the same thing!! How many players were fined for that?’”

A third went even further, saying: “Queen Bey’s tone-deaf finger gun display at Netflix’s Christmas game highlights celebrity privilege, while NFL players get fined for basic touchdown celebrations.

“The performance, her first since husband Jay-Z’s legal troubles made headlines, seemed more focused on controversy than Christmas spirit, complete with mock shootouts at a family event.

“Looks like the self-proclaimed Queen of Texas just proved there’s one set of rules for celebrities and another for everyone else – even in her hometown stadium.”

Previously, Deshaun Watson and David Njoku, both of the Cleveland Browns, have been fined over $10,000 for the gesture.

Roger Goodell, the NFL’s commissioner, said of the gesture prior: “Troy [Vincent] had a direct conversation with the union, I think, just last week about it. We’re going to continue on that focus.

“We don’t think it’s appropriate in those circumstances and sends the wrong messages. So, we’ll continue to do that.”

Troy Vincent, an NFL executive, also previously said: “There’s no place in professional football for that.

“Think about where we are as a society… I don’t think that’s where we are and what we’re trying to represent. We have a responsibility as professional athletes”.

LADbible Group has reached out to Beyoncé’s representatives for comment.
