Donald Trump makes huge offer to NASA astronauts after they were stranded in space for 286 days

Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Sunita ‘Suni’ Williams were in space for nine months after their eight-day mission got extended

Donald Trump has addressed a big aspect of astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams’ extended stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The NASA astronauts splashed down on Earth, off the coast of Florida on Tuesday (18 March), about 18 hours after leaving the ISS, where they had been residing for nine months.

After docking on the ISS, the Boeing Starliner capsule that they travelled into space on ran into some technical issues which led to it being returned without them.

Since their landing, there’s been some discussion about whether Wilmore and Williams will receive more payment for their extra time onboard – a topic which President Trump was quick to give his opinion on.

Trump had previously blamed the Biden administration for ‘abandoning’ Williams and Wilmore, with Elon Musk alleging that he’d offered to bring them home earlier.

Both NASA and the astronauts denied knowledge of this, but Trump had told reporters in the White House: “We have two astronauts that are stuck in space.

“I have asked Elon (Musk), I said, ‘Do me a favour. Can you get them out?’ He said, ‘Yes…’ You shouldn’t have been up there so long.”

But in a clip posted to social media today (21 March), a clip of Trump answering a reporter’s question about the astronaut’s pay has done the rounds on X.

The reporter pointed out that the astronauts would not receive any overtime pay for their stay upon the ISS despite their mission being extended by 286 days, or almost 41 weeks. They further claimed that they should be paid about $1,430 (£1,106) in overtime pay.

A NASA spokesperson told FOX Business that astronauts receive ‘regular, 40-hour work-week salaries’ when aboard the ISS and ‘do not receive overtime or holiday/weekend pay’, adding: “They are also on long-term TDY (Temporary Duty), and receive the incidentals amount for each day they are in space. Incidental expenses for travel to any location is currently $5 per day.”

When asked if the administration would do anything about any compensation, Trump replied: “Well, nobody’s ever mentioned this to me. If I have to to, I’ll pay it out of my own pocket, okay? I’ll get it for them.”

He then added: “Is that all? That’s not a lot for what they had to go through.”

He went on to thank Musk for his involvement, and said to ‘think if we don’t have him’, as his company SpaceX had helped to provide a capsule to bring them back to Earth.

Trump added that he is aware that the body ‘starts to deteriorate’ after nine to 10 months, especially ‘with the bones and the blood’ after 14/15 months.

Donna Jordan gained a following online for her quilt-making tutorials on YouTube

A popular YouTuber’s video was halted to announce her death earlier this month, to the shock of her fans.

Donna Jordan was known for videos showcasing her quilting skills, creating an array of patterns over the years on her channel.

It didn’t go unnoticed either, as the American content creator accumulated over 706,000 subscribers on YouTube.

The crafts creator did her work at Jordan Fabrics Quilt Shop in Oregon, but in her latest video, titled ‘Celebration Of Life: Donna Jordan – Drop Diamonds!’, Donna’s husband, Matt, made a heartbreaking reveal.

Like many of her other videos, the opening 12-or-so minutes have the social media creator explaining what she’ll be making, before going through each step of the process.

However, it was cut off by Matt, who simply said ‘this video will end right here’.

“Unfortunately, on March 14th at about 4am in the morning Donna passed away. Donna has been battling an illness for a few years now, and the last three months, it got more acute and she needed more treatments,” he solemnly explained.

Matt recalled that they met each other when they were both 16 and she was already making quilts, highlighting that she’s been doing this for the 51 years that they’ve been together.

He candidly said that his ‘great wife’ never completed the video, with the caption reading: “Donna’s last video. We are so thankful to all of you.

“Donna, her husband Matt, and her son James were all so happy to share our joy for quilting with everyone for so many years. Thank you to everyone for watching :)”

Matt went on, fighting back tears as he spoke highly of his ‘great wife’, adding: “I just want to tell you that Donna loved what she did – she couldn’t believe that she could make money making quilts and cutting quilts and teaching people how to do them.

“It was such a blessing to her and I hope that it was a blessing to you all. We will miss her greatly here… for me she was a great wife and a great business partner… a great mother,” he stated.

The 67-year-old then went on to speak about the couple’s four children, Michelle, Monica James and Jordan, all of whom he was ‘grateful’ for.

He signed off by saying that he was ‘happy and blessed’ to have Donna be a part of his life, and said he hoped the same went for their fans, as the video ended with a slideshow of the late quilt-maker.

Their son, James, left a heartfelt message that said: “We love you all so much, thanks for watching and sharing quilting with us for so many years.

“I filmed my mom on a cell phone for eight plus years and truly enjoyed spending every minute with her.

“She was such a caring, funny person full of joy and had such a passion for quilting. We loved sharing everything with all of you. Donna’s Son, James,” he signed off.

Wade Wilson looks a lot different these days than he did in his 2019 mugshot

This article contains discussions of violence which some readers may find distressing.

A string of shocking images show the dramatic evolution in the appearance of ‘Deadpool killer’ Wade Wilson since his arrest in 2019.

The double murderer, who shares a name with Ryan Reynolds’ popular Marvel character, is currently on death row in Florida.

The inmate was sentenced to death after being found guilty of murdering Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, on 7 October, 2019.

Wilson, 30, horrifically strangled Melton to death at her home in Cape Coral, Florida, before stealing her car and later luring Ruiz inside of the vehicle after he asked for directions.

He then strangled the 43-year-old, hurled her out of the car, and ran her over repeatedly.

Wilson then continued his crime spree by attacking his former girlfriend, Melissa Montanez, 41, until he eventually called his father to confess.

He was arrested the following day and has remained behind bars ever since, but now sits on death row awaiting execution after 10 out of the 12 jurors voted for him to receive the death penalty.

It’s been more than five years since Wilson was first arrested, and the killer looks unrecognisable in new images which have been circulating of him.

When he was first apprehended by authorities, Wilson sported a few tattoos on his neck and arms, but he didn’t have any on his face (see the above picture).

But by the time he was put on trial for the murders of Melton and Ruiz, he had a host of terrifying inkings – including a Joker-like mouth tattoo, the digits 666, the words ‘Bred for war’, and swastikas.

Wilson’s lawyer Kevin Shirley explained last year that his client had ‘created his appearance while in custody awaiting trial’.

“He has never expressed his reasons,” Shirley told Newsweek. “Mr. Wilson is very intimidating but he also appreciates good representation.”

Regardless of the new inkings which cover Wilson’s skin, the killer looks drastically different these days in comparison to his 2019 mugshot.

A series of selfies which he took on a tablet given to him during his time at a Lee County jail from 2023 to 2024 have emerged, according to the New York Post.

The snaps were shared online by vlogger Melissa Jade on YouTube and these images were obtained via a Freedom of Information request, according to the Daily Mail.

The outlet reports that the prison-issued tablet takes a photo every time the inmate uses it – and in one, Wilson is seen sporting significantly longer hair while a thick bandage is wrapped around his forehead.

He appeared to sport shorter hair and looked bloated in another, while he was also missing some teeth.

It was previously reported that Wilson was receiving thousands of messages from admirers while behind bars, while public records stated that authorities had to reject 163 ‘inappropriate’ images from senders.

Brian Cox explains why we haven’t found aliens yet

Brian Cox explains why we haven’t found aliens yet

Brian Cox explains why we haven’t found aliens yet

From the Fermi Paradox to the Great Filter, Cox explains things on a level that normal folk can understand

He’s one of the most recognisable names and faces if you were asked ‘name a British scientist’. And that’s exactly why we’ve gone to Brian Cox on the matter of aliens.

And in particular, explaining why – despite the absolutely huge nature of the universe – we are still set to find them. And not just the hypothetical little green men themselves, but even evidence of past civilisations across space that might have died out.

Cox sat down to speak about the issue; one he regularly discusses as his role as a professor of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester.

A former keyboardist in pop ban D:Ream, Cox moved away from music and in the last two decades has established himself as one of the most approachable names in science when it comes to explaining complicated subjects in Layman’s terms.

Fermi Paradox

Where are all the aliens? It’s a question that goes back to Enrico Fermi, an Italian-American physicist who was a member of the Manhattan Project which you will likely know a thing or two about if you’ve sat down and watched Oppenheimer in recent years.

He created the concept of the Fermi Paradox, and Cox explained it in simple terms while sitting down with Science Time on YouTube.

“It’s the question of ‘where are they?’. You base that on the observation that, let’s say, there are somewhere between 200 and 400 billion suns in the Milky Way. We think a lot of them have planets, many of them have potential Earth-like planets.

“So you have 13 billion years of time, you have hundreds of billions of suns, probably trillions of planets. And so it is a reasonable question to ask why has a civilisation not arisen ahead of us?

“Why has no civilisation escaped its home and essentially written its existence across the sky? Why don’t we see anybody?”

Von Neumann machine

Now, this is a bit more technical. But there is the argument – called Von Neumann machines – that evidence of advanced lifeforms exist in the universe in the form of self-replicating robots that continuously create each other. The concept was created by scientist John von Neumann.

But as Cox says, there is one theory that humanity simply isn’t advanced enough to understand what that looks like when we observe out data of the universe.

Linking it back to the Fermi Paradox, Cox poses the theory: “Maybe they’re tiny maybe they’re so advanced that they’re in the solar system and we don’t recognise them.

“We’ve looked a bit all our observations in the history of astronomy, and of all the observations we’ve made we have never seen evidence of anyone else. And it is a paradox because there’s been so much time and so many planets. It would seem as if somebody should have done something that we could see and they haven’t as far as we can see.”

The Great Filter

This is a theory dating back to the 1990s and put together by Robin Hanson. Generally speaking, the Great Filter states that intelligent lifeforms have to go through a number of important steps before they can even make themselves known to other civilisations out there in the universe.

“The premise of the Great Filter is that there’s at least one hurdle that is so high virtually no species can clear it and move on to the next,” Astroomy.com writes.

“But while the term the Great Filter suggests the conscious action of some sort of exogenous entity, in reality, the hypothesis is more a way of thinking about the relative likelihood of certain events happening — or not happening — in their own natural course.”

In other words, as Hanson put it, you have to take on a number of advancements within your civilisation to even process the idea of becoming advanced enough to go into space and detect, or be seen, by other life out there.

As well as the incredibly rare chance of single cell organisms dividing and becoming advanced lifeforms that can reproduce, the technology needs to be there for space colonisation – a point scientists say we are now at today.

But as Cox says, this point can come with the concept of self-destruction as you focus on the universe at the expense of your ability to live on planet, abusing natural resources and eco-systems through technology advancement.

“It’s now that you get this capability to affect your planet or destroy yourselves through war or whatever it is that that’s a filter and we’re we’re approaching it – and it could be we don’t pass through it and that would also be a solution to the Fermi Paradox,” he said.

Basically, advanced civilisations push their capabilities to the limit and destroy themselves through war, weapons, or ecological means. Now isn’t that a happy thought.

Sticky Vicky’s daughter Maria Gadea Aragues has set the record straight

Sticky Vicky’s daughter has addressed various rumours flying around that she was about to shelve her X-rated Benidorm act.

The performance artist, who uses the same stage name as her late mum, has been carrying on her mum’s show after her death.

The Benidorm star – whose real name is Victoria María Aragues Gadea – passed away on 29 November 2023, at the age of 80.

She was known for her eyebrow-raising stage performances, and being able to pull out all sorts from her private parts.

Over the years, she was able to remove ping-pong balls, eggs, handkerchiefs, sausages, razor blades, and machetes from her vagina.

And when it got dark, Vicky also had enough room to pull out a lightbulb, as you do.

Since her death, however, her daughter Maria Gadea Aragues has carried on her mum’s legacy for the past two years.

But as of late, rumours have been circulating around that Maria was about to call it a day, according to The Sun.

However, she has told the outlet that fans have nothing to worry about.

“It’s not real! I’ve just been on my holiday. I’m actually launching a new cabaret show at the Talk of the Coast bar,” she said.

“The first performance is 30 March. At half-past 12 every night.”

Before her mum passed away, Maria promised her that the Sticky Vicky legacy would continue, but with ‘new music, new costumes, and new choreography’.

Although, she insists that the iconic show would still be reminiscent of her mum’s.

“It’s still my mum’s legendary show,” she promised.

“I’m proud that so many people want to copy the act, but they can’t do it like me.”

“I am my mother’s only daughter and I am the only one she taught. I’m the only one who can do it just like her. Everyone else is just a copy,” Maria added.

“I’m so thankful to all the people who come and see the act. I strive to reach my mum’s level and keep the legend alive.”

The original Vicky retired in 2016 before she was diagnosed with uterine cancer the following year.

“I regret these words, my mother Sticky Vicky passed away today at six in the morning, I can’t believe it,” her daughter shared in a statement when she passed.

“She has gone, surrounded by her family, with all of our love.

“I thank God for being able to always be by her side, I am left with a broken heart.”

The influencer’s bout with MMA fighter Danis in Manchester on 29 March has been called off

KSI has called off his fight with Dillon Danis, over a week from their scheduled bout.

The content creator released a video on social media, saying: “Hey everyone, I’m gonna try make this quick. Me versus Danis is just not going to happen March 29th, man.

“I’ve tried my hardest but my body has legit just given up. I’m currently in bed taking antibiotics just trying to recover.

“But I’m struggling, I’m coughing up greenish, yellow s*** all the time. My sinuses are hurting to the point where I need ibuprofen every day.”

“The tensions headaches right here that I’m getting are more painful than you can imagine. I’m using Sudafed daily,” the YouTuber claimed.

Claiming that he has tried to continue training but simply can’t as his body and stamina has ‘fallen off a clip, KSI said he feels ‘weak’.

“I can’t even taste right now or smell. Basically, I’m f***ed. I’ve been ill for almost three weeks and it’s just not got better.

“I’ve had doctors come around to try and decipher what is going on. Honestly, I’ve never been this ill for this long in my life and I hate it,” he said.

Real name Olajide Olatunji, the British influencer said that ‘it’s depressing’, and then apologised to people he said he’d let down.

“Yeah, I didn’t train this hard for nothing. Either way, I want to say sorry to everyone at Misfits, everyone at DAZN,” the 31-year-old began.

“I wanna say sorry to Sidemen for not being in as many videos as I’d like to be and most importantly I’d like to say sorry to all the fans.”

While he hasn’t been able to upload videos to help promote the boxing match, he insisted that he wants to set a new date.

“I’m just sick of being sick, man. And yeah, I’m sorry. I wanna move the fight to another day because I still wanna knock out Dillon Danis,” the ‘Holiday’ singer said after coughing.

The pair were set to fight on 29 March as the main card on Misfits 21, titled ‘Unfinished Business’.

Misfits Boxing also took to their accounts to release a statement, reading: “Due to an illness to KSI, Misfits Boxing Unfinished Business, scheduled for March 29th in Manchester, has been postponed.

“A further update will be issued next week, including a new date for the event.”

KSI hasn’t stepped in the ring since losing out to Tommy Fury in October 2023 at the AO Arena in a controversial majority decision.

It was the influencer’s first loss in the ring.

Since then, he was set to fight both Anthony Taylor and fellow YouTuber Slim Albaher, but pulled out last August with a hand injury.

He announced a fight with Wayne Bridge earlier this year too, though the ex-footballer pulled out after the Sidemen member made comments about his former partner and John Terry.

Danis and KSI were also meant to face off in January 2023, but the former pulled out then, citing personal reasons.

However, the American MMA fighter would go on to make his first appearance in the ring against Logan Paul, on the same night KSI fought Fury, and lost via disqualification.

Adolescence viewers have a major theory on secret meaning behind the childhood pictures in opening credits

People think they have worked out the significance of the snaps at the beginning of each episode

Adolescence viewers reckon they have worked out the meaning behind the montage of childhood snaps that appear in the opening credits.

There is plenty to talk about when it comes to the hit Netflix series starring Stephen Graham, but it’s the intro to it which is currently up for discussion on social media.

The millions of people who have been tuning into the four-part show across the globe have already deciphered a host of hidden details, as well as the subtle foreshadowing that was slipped in.

Eagle-eyed viewers have even been going over the end credits with a fine tooth comb, leaving a few people baffled as to why a Hollywood star was listed as a producer.

So naturally, people have also been trying to work out the significance of all the childhood images which feature in the title sequence alongside a haunting soundtrack, too.

In Adolescence, Owen Cooper portrays 13-year-old Jamie Miller who is arrested at his parents home on suspicion of the murder of one of his female classmates, which obviously comes as quite a blow to Graham, who plays his dad Eddie Miller, as well as his mother Manda Miller, portrayed by Christine Tremarco.

During their investigation, police uncover how he’s been sucked into the online ‘manosphere’ and the dark corner of the internet where ‘incels’ dwell.

Liverpudlian legend Graham revealed that Adolescence was somewhat inspired by similar events which have unfolded in real life, while saying that violent crime has become an ‘epidemic amongst young lads up and down the country’.

Children and their loss of innocence are at the heart of this series, so the inclusion of a load of childhood images in the opening credits is very fitting.

But what subtle nuances did the show’s creators hope this would communicate?

Well, Reddit users think they have worked it out – and they have taken a good guess at who they think the pictures are of as well.

People have been sharing their theories about the meaning behind the childhood snaps in the opening credits (Netflix)

Sharing their theories about the meaning behind the snaps, one person said: “They are childhood photos of the child actors that are featured in each episode.

“I believe those photos are out in there to show that we are all innocent when we are young, but then when we become teens, the world corrupts us.”

Another user thinking along similar lines added: “I think it’s supposed to highlight the innocence of children and how vulnerable they are to corruption and manipulation.. idk that’s my take.”

A third added: “I think it was the actors in the episode…I decently saw the ‘murder victims’ childhood photo. Last episode was clearly staged photos as a family.”

Netflix viewers have speculated that pics could be of the child actors (Netflix)

A fourth said: “If it was the actors in the episode then I believe it would be easy to find that online. But I searched for many hours and that’s all I could find that made sense and matched the photos.”

Meanwhile, someone else speculated that the photos ‘set the tone for who they would focus on in each episode’, adding that the first episode only showed ‘photos of Jamie’ while the second had a ‘mixture of Jamie and Katie’.

Netflix or the cast members haven’t confirmed this, but it does seem to make sense to the majority of social media users.

‘Deadpool killer’ Wade Wilson was sentenced to death for the double murder of Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz

Wade Wilson – who’s nickname is in reference to him sharing the same name as the titular character in the Marvel series – was found guilty of murdering two women, Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz, in 2019.

Wilson strangled Melton, 35, to death in her Cape Coral home and stole her car before kidnapping Ruiz, 43, who asked him for directions.

He then invited Ruiz into the vehicle before strangling her and throwing her out of the car, running her over repeatedly.

“I choked her out until she couldn’t breathe anymore,” Wilson told police. “I came across my mind to murder, just kill, kill, kill.”

In court, 10 out of the 12 jurors voted for Wilson to receive the death penalty and he’s now been imprisoned in the Florida Department of Corrections.

From 2023 to 2024, the New York Post reports that a tablet was previously given to Wilson in his Lee County jail.

During that time, he took a series of selfies on the device, which have been shared by vlogger Melissa Jade on YouTube, which, according to The Daily Mail, was obtained via a Freedom of Information request.

The outlet reports that the prison-issued tablet takes a photo every time the inmate uses it.

In one of the images shared by the YouTuber, it shows Wilson with a thick bandage wrapped around his forehead, with a lot longer hair.

Another photo shows the inmate missing some teeth and appearing bloated.

Now, as things stand, Wilson is waiting for his appeals process to reach its conclusion as the Florida Department of Corrections states that an average death row inmate spends on 13.22 years incarcerated there.

In court, Florida County’s Circuit Judge Nicholas R Thompson called Wilson’s crimes ‘heinous, atrocious and cruel’, adding that ‘the second murder was cold, calculated and premeditated’.

Wilson also appeared to show no emotion when he was being sentenced, however, Dr John Paul Garrison has suggested that his ‘casual’ and nonchalant reaction was an indicator that the killer was feeling ‘a lot of anxiety and stress’.

Following his sentencing, his legal team stood up to repeat Wilson’s final request to the judge.

Wilson’s lawyer explained: “I understand he has other cases pending here and elsewhere… but Mr Wilson asked me to ask the court within whatever authority you have to get him to death row as soon as possible.”

The cases being referred to by his lawyer related to an unrelated attempted escape from jail, which the judge said could only be heard on 16 September at the earliest.

Jerce Reyes Barrios’ attorney says the soccer player has been deported to a prison in El Salvador

A professional soccer player has been deported to the ‘world’s worst prison’ due to one of his tattoos and social media posts.

Jerce Reyes Barrios is a player and children’s soccer coach from Venezuela, who was detained after taking part in a Maduro regime protest earlier this year.

After fleeing his home country, Barrios arrived at the Mexican border in September 2024, using the CBP One app, which was a mobile application largely used under Biden to enhance border processing, allowing migrants to schedule appointments at ports of entry.

After arriving in the US, Barrios’ attorney, Linette Tobin, has said that the footballer has now been deported to El Salvador due to one of his tattoos, which depicts a soccer logo.

According to reports, the Department of Homeland Security has claimed Barrios tattoo is gang-affiliated. They have also said that a photo of Barrios depicts him displaying gang signs.

Tobin has said that the tattoo features a crown on top of a soccer ball with the word ‘Dios’ meaning God. Meanwhile, ABC News has revealed that a declaration from the tattoo artist confirms it was chosen as it closely resembles Real Madrid’s logo.

“In reality, he chose this tattoo because it is similar to the logo for his favourite soccer team, Real Madrid,” said Tobin.

It is reported that Barrios has no criminal record, however, he has allegedly been accused of being a Tren de Aragua – also known as TdA – member.

Tobin explained that although Barrios had a hearing set for next month, on March 15 he was deported to El Salvador.

“Counsel and family have lost all contact with him and have no information,” Tobin wrote in court documents.

Last weekend, Trump claimed the Tren de Aragua gang were invading the US, and made the decision to invoke the Alien Enemies Act, allowing him to deport non US citizens.

Hundreds have now been sent to a prison in El Salvador, known as The Terrorism Confinement Center, and despite a federal judge banning the deportations, the flights were already in the air when the ruling came through.

A senior DHS official told UNILAD in a statement: “Jerce Reyes Barrios was not only in the United States illegally, but he has tattoos that are consistent with those indicating TdA gang membership.

“His own social media indicates he is a member of the vicious TdA gang. That all said, DHS intelligence assessments go beyond a single tattoo and we are confident in our findings.”

The prison itself was visited by CNN’s David Culver who spoke of the ‘spartan’ conditions inmates are expected to live in.

Culver and his team reported that cells are unlike American prisons in that they are ‘built to hold 80 inmates’ or more. As well as this, inmates are held for 23.5 hours a day, far from the expected ‘luxuries’ of American prisons.

Culver reported: “The only furniture is tiered metal bunks, with no sheets, pillows or mattresses … an open toilet, a cement basin and plastic bucket for washing and a large jug for drinking water.”

Currently it is believed between 10,000 and 20,000 prisoners are housed there with the 261 people shipped to the country by Trump’s administration believed to be the newest inmates.

Tesla dealerships are being targeted in the wake of Elon Musk’s links to the White House

Trump has made a bold threat to anyone who attacks Elon Musk or Tesla dealerships.

There’s been an increase of incidents at Tesla showrooms of late in the wake of Musk’s associations with the White House.

But it’s not just Tesla showrooms that are being attacked; people’s privately owned vehicles, Tesla charging stations, and vehicle lots are being targeted too.

The reason for the spike comes after Musk was named as one of the leaders of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has been drastically slashing government spending since its creation.

According to its website, as of March 19, they’ve made around $155 billion in savings, and it’s clear that Musk’s cut-throat approach to saving money hasn’t gone down well with some Americans, who are now seemingly taking out their anger on anything Tesla-related.

Apparently some of the worst affected areas include left-leaning cities in the Pacific Northwest like Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, says AP.

Elsewhere, several Tesla vehicles in Las Vegas were set on fire on Tuesday (March 18) outside one of the car manufacturer’s service centers.

Reportedly vandals also painted ‘resist’ across the building’s front doors.

In the wake of the increased violence, US Attorney General Pam Bondi said that three vandals who have been arrested regarding ‘domestic terrorism’ and Tesla attacks may face up to 20 years behind bars, BBC News reported.

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said in a statement. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

Now Donald Trump has made similar threats and took to TruthSocial today (March 21).

The POTUS penned: “I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla. Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!”

One of the prisons in El Salvador has been dubbed as ‘the world’s worst’, and Trump recently shipped 250 alleged criminals there.

The facility in question can reportedly hold as many as 40,000 inmates.

Trump’s sentiments come after he announced that violence against Tesla dealerships would be seen as domestic terrorism.

Earlier this month, he threatened that those behind the violence will ‘go through hell’ and described Tesla as ‘a great American company’.

In support of Musk and his car company, the president recently purchased one of the electric vehicles for himself.
