There are some signs you should keep an eye out for in the early stages of a relationship

A relationships expert has explained the four things you should be wary of when you’re in the early stages of a relationships, which are the reddest of flags.

Jana Hocking is a seasoned dating expert from Australia, and in the past, she’s given her opinion on things you might want to avoid in the bedroom, as well as acts that women find the most attractive.

But now, she has shared the four behaviours that most likely mean that you’re about to get ‘ghosted’.

‘Ghosting’ basically means to stop communicating with someone with no warning or reason given, ignoring all future attempts from the other person to get in touch.

It’s really toxic, and while Hocking may be an expert on sex and relationships, she revealed to news.com.au that she was recently a victim of the trend.

Recalling that she had ‘finally found the perfect man’, Hocking said her brain ‘short-circuited’ after just one kiss.

In fact, she claimed that he ticked all the boxes for her, going as far to admit that he might have been the one.

They both admitted they had feelings for each other, but just months down the line, he ghosted her, and said that it ‘might have been my fault’, analysing the signs that she admitted were there for ages.

“He was never really into it,” she stated.

She realised that he would talk a lot, then disappear for days, and when he did appear, it made her feel ‘like a million dollars’.

Hocking only saw him three times, explaining: “Despite countless texts, voice notes, cheeky sexts and calls, we had just two dates and one birthday party together.”

So from her situation, she outlined the four things you should be looking out for to avoid the same outcome as her.

Being vague about plans

While warning others to focus on actions rather than words, Hocking said that upon reflection, his actions said ‘I’M NEVER GOING TO DATE YOU PROPERLY’.

One of these signs was when she would get heart-eye emojis, though trying to plan things would be really hard.

She highlighted phrases such as ‘I’ll check my diary when I get home’ and ‘Let’s lock it in next week’ as signs to call it a day.

Getting left on read

We’re not saying to start panicking after five to 10 minutes of being left on read, because they may be busy, but if it’s hours on end, the sirens should be loud enough.

“My guy usually got back to me around 10pm, which didn’t scream ‘priority’,” Hocking admitted.

Talking the talk but not walking the walk

While compliments and late-night chats can feel nice, taking action after putting the phones down is crucial, according to the expert.

She claimed that they’re simply using you for attention, with no intention to go further – wasting your time and effort.

Excuses, excuses, excuses

Hocking says that ‘half-a**ed excuses’ are a no-go, though she missed all the signs at the time.

The Australian recalled: “We had a date planned, and when I suggested going out instead of dinner at home, he suddenly remembered he had a work meeting.”

She later realise that he, in fact, did not.

The expert highlighted that if they aren’t interested in ‘proper dates’, you can expect to be ghosted in the future.

Signing off, she said not to listen your heart (which may be a bit far), and to use your brain a bit more as ‘the signs are always there’.

Ancient Egypt archaeologists stumped after discovering 3,600 year old royal tomb of unknown king

A huge archaeological find, but who in Ancient Egypt was it built for?

A huge archaeological find has been uncovered in Ancient Egypt after daylight was shone on a lost royal tomb for the first time in thousands of years. But experts examining the lost tomb have been left confused. Who is it for?

It is a question that has left Egyptologists stumped after coming across the tomb in the Mount Anubis necropolis in Abydos. Lying west of the River Nile, Abydos is one of the most sacred sites from Ancient Egypt and is the burial spot for the civilisation’s founding kings.

An Egyptian-American archaeological mission from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA made the 3,600-year-old discovery alongside a complete Roman-era pottery workshop in the village of Banawit to the north of Abydos.

Buried underground by some 23 feet, or seven metres, the burial chamber is made of limestone and covered with mudbrick vaults. Thought to be 16 feet high when constructed, it stood at a height of five metres.

Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, emphasised the importance of these two discoveries.

“The discovery of the royal tomb in Abydos provides new scientific evidence on the development of royal tombs in the Mount Anubis necropolis, which dates back to the Abydos Dynasty, a series of kings who ruled Upper Egypt between 1700 and 1600 BC,” the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said in a statement on the find.

But who is the lost Pharaoh? No idea is the general take at this moment no time.

What we do know is that their reign dates back to the Second Intermediate Period, which was from 1640 BC to 1540 BC. Back then, northern Egypt was ruled by a group called the Hyksos and the southern part of Egypt was controlled by multiple Egyptian kings, LiveScience reports.

At that period of time Abydos was under Egyptian control. But the control of who, we do not know.

Josef Wegner, a professor of Egyptology and Egyptian archaeology at the University of Pennsylvania who led the team, said: “The king’s name was originally recorded in painted scenes on plastered brickwork that decorated the underground entrance to the limestone burial chamber.

“However, the hieroglyphic texts were damaged by ancient tomb robbers and not enough survives to read the king’s name.”

The style of the decorations and texts is similar to those previously discovered in the tomb of King Senebkay, who ruled between 1650 BC and 1600 BC.

Sadly, the tomb was ransacked a long tie ago by grave robbers. Not even the king’s mummified remains were left in the tomb or their sarcophagus.

Despite this, Anna-Latifa Mourad-Cizek, an assistant professor of Egyptian archaeology at the University of Chicago, said it was a ‘highly significant’ find given there is a limited amount of evidence about the rulers of this region of Ancient Egypt.

At the nearby Roman pottery site also uncovered, a number of burials were found at the site including mud-brick tombs containing skeletons and mummies, likely representing family graves for men and women, most of whom were children.

The find comes after a recent archaeological discovery hidden beneath Egyptian pyramids that, according to experts on the case, changes everything about how we think of the four-sided structures.

A huge new development in the study of Ancient Egypt and its most famous son

Tutankhamun, the most famous king and individual in all of Ancient Egypt, continues to make headlines despite having lived more than 3,300 years ago.

The youngest Pharaoh in Ancient Egyptian history who died at the age of just 18, King Tut is for many the most iconic name in all of Egypt after the very famous discovery of his tomb back in 1922 by British Egyptologist Howard Carter.

One of the biggest finds of the 20th century, it was a spectacular find in the Valley of the Kings, with his cause of death still causing headaches for archaeologists to this day.

And a result of his standing in modern pop culture, as well as being the youngest Pharaoh of all time, studies in to the boy ruler are continuing to this very day.

Studying Tutankhamun’s tomb

Work conducted by archaeologist Nicholas Brown, from Yale University in the US, has looked once again at the tomb of Tutankhamun – and in particular, what is inside the tomb of the child king.

See, during his nine years in power, Tutankhamun and his advisers worked to restore old faiths that the boy’s father, Akhenaten, had removed.

And in doing this, Brown says that it presented King Tut with a chance to reinterpret traditional rituals with a fresh take.

What was found in the tomb?

All eyes were on the evidence of a different approach in the four clay trays that were found in the pharaoh’s tomb.

Each tray was roughly 7.5 centimetres by 4.5 centimetres. There were also four 110 centimetre tall wooden staffs found in the stunning tomb.

Brown explains his findings in a new research article entitled ‘These Thy Libations, Osiris! A Reconsideration of the Four Clay Troughs from the Tomb of Tutankhamun’.

In his study, Brown now believes these items were used in the funeral ritual for Tutankhamun, primarily the Awakening of Osiris ritual.

He says: “I’m pretty convinced that what we’re seeing within Tutankhamun’s burial chamber is probably the earliest iteration of this ritual that we can see in the archaeological record.”

What is the significance?

Placed at the head of Tut’s sarcophagus, the image compares to artwork later produced about the ritual showing the dead pharaoh – now Osiris, the God of the underworld – commanded to wake up by staffs behind his head.

“It’s quite possible that what we see in Tutankhamun’s burial is a precursor to the Awakening of Osiris ritual,” Salima Ikram, from the American University in Cairo, said.

It is the latest unusual find in the burial of Tutankhamun, with other rather left field moves including being the only pharaoh to have his manhood mummified in an erect position.

Yes, really.

Man sparks furious online debate after hitting out at passenger’s ‘rude and unaware’ plane etiquette

This is not what you want to see after boarding your flight

Getting through an airport and making it to your plane on time can is stressful enough on its own — so it’s understandable that finding out you’re sat near an entitled passenger would tip you over the edge.

Which is why one particularly frustrated passenger couldn’t help but pull his phone out and snap a photo after reaching his seat and finding another passenger’s jacket draped over the back of it.

The man then shared the interaction on Reddit, which promptly went viral as users debated who was ultimately in the wrong in this particular situation.

In a now-deleted post, the man shared the image of a purple blazer perched on the back of his seat and explained that he found it there as soon as he boarded the flight.

“I can’t believe how rude or unaware people can be,” the original poster wrote, adding that the woman seated behind him made no attempt to move the clothing item once he sat down.

Going on to explain that he didn’t feel comfortable confronting the passenger over the badly placed item due to it being a long haul flight, the man attempted to get the attention of cabin crew, but was unsuccessful.

“It was a super long-haul flight so I didn’t want the bad vibes behind me,” he said. “I tried making eyes with the flight attendants but nobody helped me.”

The offending blazer (Reddit)

The man was able to avoid an awkward confrontation after moving to a nearby vacant seat, but this didn’t solve the underlying problem of passengers not being mindful of each other’s personal space on flights.

“Apologies to the person in the future who eventually has to teach her a lesson because I didn’t want to deal with it.” he said.

Naturally the dilemma divided internet users, with two camps quickly forming in the replies.

On one side, you had users who were shocked at the lack of plane etiquette shown by the woman, while others wondered why the original poster didn’t politely ask the woman to move the coat.

“I want to know how people walk around through life with this kind of mentality. Are they stupid, or just entitled,” one person commented, which prompted a second user to point out: “I think part of the reason is people don’t speak up, so they assume these things are fine to do.”

“People are far more often oblivious than malicious, and 95% of the time if you politely point out something that’s bothering you they’ll apologise and your problem is solved,” a third person added.

Other users chimed in with more constructive comments, suggesting that anyone in a similar position should mention it to a flight attendant, writing: “Next time a flight attendant walks by, say ‘Sorry, someone forgot their coat on my seat’ and hand it to them.”

However if there’s one takeaway from the whole situation, it’s this: don’t hang your jacket on someone else’s plane seat.

And maybe don’t shy away from sticking up for yourself either.

Key symptoms of colon cancer as woman who had signs dismissed by doctor given stage four diagnosis

Approximately 44,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK

Warning: This article contains discussion of cancer which some readers may find distressing.

Bowel cancer, also known as colon cancer, is the second biggest cause of cancer deaths in the UK behind lung cancer.

According to Cancer Research UK last year, the UK experienced the fourth-fastest rise in early onset bowel cancer (3.6 per cent) from 2017, with statistics showing that one in every twenty bowel cancer cases happened to a person under the age of 50.

One woman from Australia, who’s symptoms were initially dismissed by a doctor before receiving her stage 4 diagnosis, has raised the important reminder of ‘early detection’.

What is colon cancer?

Colon cancer is cancer that’s found anywhere in the large bowel, including the colon and rectum.

“How serious bowel cancer is depends on how big the cancer is, if the cancer has spread, and your general health.” the NHS states.

According to Bowel Cancer UK, roughly 44,000 people are diagnosed with the disease every year in the UK, and notably, the number of cases are increasing amongst adults between 20 and 50-years-old.

Tess, a content creator from Australia, started to notice warning signs 10 months before she was diagnosed when she experienced ‘extreme stomach cramping’.

According to the mum-of-two, it was ‘mild’ at the start before leaving her ‘to the point where she would be on the floor in the fetal position’ due to the pain.

Although her blood test didn’t reveal any cancer, other symptoms were noted, such as:

  • Low iron
  • Anaemic
  • Blood in her stool
  • ‘Thin’ and ‘small’ stool

Tess told her TikTok (@thegreenthumbmum) followers in a video: “A lot of these symptoms got put down to postpartum, I was 18 months postpartum when I started to go to the doctor about these symptoms.

“So that’s why a lot of it was kind of washed under the bridge.”

In her comments, she further explained that because she’d had haemorrhoids, her doctor didn’t perform a colonoscopy as it was ‘assumed it was due to those’:

“It ended up being both. My gastro told me I was ‘overreacting’ when I said I thought it might be cancer and that I was probably just constipated.” Tess said. “He then did the colonoscopy and was pretty embarrassed. Keep seeing doctors until someone listens.”

Her advice for anyone experiencing concerning symptoms is to urge your GP for a colonoscopy, as they can directly visualise and remove potentially cancerous polyps, as well as a blood test.

Other symptoms of colon cancer

The mum explained that ‘there are other symptoms as well’, adding that it ‘might present in each person differently’.

According to the NHS, other symptoms of bowel cancer may include:

  • Changes in your pooing habits
  • Bleeding from your bottom
  • Feeling like you need to poo even if you’ve just been to the toilet
  • Tummy pain
  • A lump in your tummy
  • Bloating
  • Losing weight without trying
  • Feeling very tired for no reason

Terrifying underwater footage reveals moment camera is attacked by rare-deep sea squid with ‘headlights’

Two angles of the harrowing encounter was captured for us to enjoy or squeal at

A harrowing bit of footage has resurfaced, capturing the moment where a camera was gripped and attacked by a creature in the deep sea.

It’s no wonder that people are scared of the sea, with only five percent of our world’s oceans explored and mapped out, who knows what the depths of these waters actually hold?

The deep, dark unknown is home to many creepy, alien-looking fish and wildlife that physically can’t handle sunlight, with any footage of them near the surface certain to go viral.

In reality, there are creatures down there that scientists may never discover, and the thought of that is enough to send chill down spines.

Footage from GoPros below the surface of the water is enough to kick up a fuss on social media, so what about cameras that go hundreds of feet deeper?

This footage was released last year from scientists that work at the University of Western Australia and Kelpie Geosciences in the UK, and it’s left viewers shocked.

In a clip that rivals a sub’s interaction with an ancient deep-sea creature up close, where scientists could see its eye, this ranks highly among creepy-yet-educational ocean exploration videos.

It is said that the creature mistook the camera for prey in the South Pacific on Wednesday 8 May, with Associate Professor Stewart stating: “As we were reviewing the footage, we realised we had captured something very rare.”

In the video, a rare squid can be seen wrapping its arms around a camera 1026m below the surface, where it is almost pitch black.

It’s not just any rare squid though, known as the Taningia Danae, it can be seen making its approach towards the camera and spreading its tentacles over the camera lens, seemingly thinking that it was something that it could eat.

The species is known for having two incredibly large photophores on the end of two of its tentacles that produce bioluminescence, which have also been described as ‘headlights’.

They are the largest known photophores in the known world, and are also known to produce flashes in the dark ocean to disorientate prey while hunting, which can also be seen in the video.

The equipment captured two angles of the squid wrapping its tentacles around the lens, one from the scene and one from behind, showcasing just how massive the squid is.

Also known as the Dana octopus squid, it is one of the largest known squid species, able to reach a total length of 2.3m. The largest known specimen weighed a whopping 161.4kg.

Expert explains why Jamie kept telling the psychologist that he’s ugly in Adolescence

Mental health expert Janine Mitchell has been face-to-face with ‘high risk offenders’ like Jamie many times

A former probation officer who has worked with serious offenders like Jamie from Adolescence has explained why he kept telling the psychologist that he’s ugly.

The current most-watched show on Netflix follows 13-year-old murder suspect Jamie Miller, who is played by Owen Cooper in his first ever acting role.

Co-writer Stephen Graham features as his father Eddie Miller, as Top Boy actor Ashley Walters stars as detective Luke Bascombe.

Critics are calling the four-parter ‘flawless’, while parents are seemingly worried about the rise in awareness of ‘incel’ behaviour’ and knife crime.

Why Jamie keeps telling the psychologist that he’s ugly

In the third episode of Adolescence, Jamie meets with psychologist Briony (Erin Doherty), who greets him with a hot chocolate and half a sandwich at the young offenders facility.

Quickly, Jamie becomes very confrontational and starts to yell at Briony, forcing her to take a break halfway through.

Mental health expert Janine Mitchell MSc worked as a probation officer in prisons across the UK, and in real life has been face-to-face with ‘high risk offenders’ like Jamie, many times.

She was tasked with working with male murders, paedophiles, rapists and drug dealers across the north of England from 2002 to 2015.

Janine, who has 25 years of experience in the field, knows exactly how Briony felt, and also has a theory on why Jamie kept telling her that he’s ugly.

“A lot of these guys that I used to work with, you’ll find that behind this kind of aggression, there’s actually this real level of low self esteem, insecurity, and that quite often, is where violence will stem from,” the psychologist told LADbible.

Janine, also a domestic abuse survivor, explained: “You know these feelings of insecurity, because you could see him flip from this real aggressive person to this vulnerable little child because he’s 13.

“He’s a child at the end of the day. You know, you’re not an adult. So he was just trying to look for approval and validation. Not that’s any excuse. But he was seeking approval because he wasn’t getting a kind of approval anyway.

“And again, that’s nobody’s fault, by the way. Everyone’s doing the best job they can, parents, teachers, with everything that they’re faced with.”

Why the psychologist moves her chair to sit closer to Jamie

The Change For Success founder, who now runs a self-help business based in Bangkok, also revealed the clever reason why Briony put the chair around the table to speak to Jamie.

“So you’ve got to go in with this level of understanding and she was building up this rapport. And then you saw with him, the way he suddenly kind of lost it, quite quickly. But that just gave us an insight into what is going on in this little boy’s head, you know?” Janine added.

“So she was able to bring him down. Did you see the way she moved the chair on the table? So she moved the chair on the table to bring him back down.

“She then comes round to the side, and that is a technique to build that rapport and build that relationship with the person. And she did that really well.”

Brits have all been saying the same thing while tuning into the BBC show

Comedians are out in force tonight for the return of Comic Relief – but viewers reckon the show’s gone a tad overboard on the other talent.

Celebrating it’s fourth decade on air and coming live from Salford, the BBC show aims to raise some money while making us all laugh in the process each year.

That’s right – we’re on our 40th Red Nose Day, people.

The cash raised helps support those facing poverty in the UK and around the world.

Since Comic Relief’s conception in 1985, the charity has received more than £1.6 billion in donations which has supported more than 100 million people.

It’s a good cause and a great bit of telly rolled into one – but viewers reckon the Comic Relief stage looks a bit crowded this evening (21 March).

People have been pointing out that they don’t say too many cooks spoil the broth for nothing…as apparently, this phrase also applies when it comes to charity fundraisers too.

Viewers have all been saying the same thing about the number of presenters (BBC)

Viewers have all been saying the same thing about the number of presenters (BBC)

Sir Lenny Henry, who launched Comic Relief in 1985 with Richard Curtis, is normally at the helm of the show, but last year was his final presenting gig.

Revealing why he’d decided to stop hosting the show, he previously said: “I think it is time to hand over the reins because there is an extraordinary new generation of talent and we need to give these people and their audiences access to what Comic Relief can do and how we can raise money together.

“I’m a life president for the charity and I’m still going to be supporting other Comic Relief and Red Nose Day projects throughout the year, like recruiting new talent, doing voiceovers etc. So I’ll still be around, just not onscreen.”

Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark and Alesha Dixon are all presenting Comic Relief on BBC One this year.

Tom Allen and AJ Odudu are then taking over from 10pm on BBC Two.

But social media users reckon that all of these hosts might be a bit excessive.

Taking to X to share their complaints, one said: “Why does Comic Relief need 8 presenters? I get if it goes on for hours but it is only on until 10pm, we don’t need 8 presenters, I think they should only have 4 presenters, 2 for the first half and 2 for the second half. 8 is far too many presenters.”

Another added: “Does Comic Relief really need all those presenters? Wonder if there getting paid.”

A third wrote: “Do we really need 8 presenters for Comic Relief? They’re getting like one line of dialogue each.”

And a fourth chimed in: “How many presenters do they need for a 4hour show!!!! I hope they are not getting paid as that would probably cost all tonight’s donations.”

Funnily enough, the official Comic Relief account replied to this user with an explanation about whether the stars who present the show are financially rewarded.

The post read: “All of our presenters donate their time to help make the show magical.”

Gen Z manager leaves workers stunned with surprising reason why she rejects their time-off requests

Elizabeth Beggs, 28, has been praised for her management style by social media users

A lot of people find taking time off from work to be quite the terrifying prospect – whether you’re worrying about your workload piling up or the reaction you might get from your boss.

But at the end of the day, we’re all entitled to annual leave and need to take a break every so often so that we don’t completely burn out.

This ‘Gen Z manager’ has now sparked quite the debate on social media after revealing the surprising reason why she rejects holiday requests from staff.

But it’s not exactly what it sounds like – as Elizabeth Beggs, whose video about taking time off has gone viral on TikTok, believes that these employees didn’t even need to submit vacation days in the first place.

The 28-year-old, from the US state of Virginia, works as a director at a packaging distribution company and is in charge of a five-person team, who are aged between 22 to 36.

But prior to this, she worked in a similar role at another unnamed firm, which is where she forged her unique management style and also her progressive approach to allocating annual leave.

Beggs explained that she firmly believes that ‘time off is meant to recharge and be used how you need it, not to handle life-changing events’.

In the clip, which has gained 4.7 million views, she shared a range of examples of incidents where employees have asked to take a leave of absence, only for her to tell them they don’t really need to.

Beggs said: “I had a rep text me and she said ‘Hey I think I’m miscarrying, I need to cancel…how do I submit time off?’,” to which the manager replied: “Girl, go to the doctor, we’re not submitting time off for that!”

“Absolutely not,” the mother-of-four continued. “You use your time off for your vacation, this is a medical emergency, let’s get you taken care of.”

Beggs said the worker ended up ‘being off for a while’, but she still did not ‘charge’ her with any vacation days as she thought doing so would be ‘ridiculous’.

She then referred to another instance where a member of staff had asked to reschedule a meeting as they had been ‘up all night’ with a newborn baby, before reiterating what she said in response to social media users.

“Yea man, don’t worry about it,” Beggs said. “I know you have a baby at home – the sleepless night are rough. I’ve been there, times four.

“Then he said, ‘Actually, I had to take my oldest into the hospital last night, my wife is there with her right now and I’ve got to find childcare for the baby.

She said that staff shouldn't have to use their 'time off to handle life-changing events' (TikTok/@bunchesofbeggs)

“Sir turn your car around! Get back to the hospital! Hang out with your baby. What do you mean your coming into work today? Absolutely not.”

And thirdly, she described a situation where a team member had asked to take some time off to reconnect with their spouse and informed Beggs they had submitted an annual leave request to HR.

The manager went on: “Again, dude – you are doing great at your job, why are you getting HR involved in this? Just go! It’s fine!”

She then signed off her video saying: “If any of these triggered anyone, you probably need to reevaluate how you run your team as a manager.”

But her clip has actually had the opposite effect, as Beggs has been met by a host of praise online, with people hailing her fresh approach to helping employees juggle their work-life balance.

One commented: “You are not a manager…..you are a LEADER!”

A second said: “Ummm ma’am. Are you hiring? This is amazing!”

A third added: “I guarantee your employees would go to war for you. The best boss ever!”

A fourth wrote: “Boomer managers could never.”

And a fifth chimed in: ” I bet your team is highly productive and motivated with your management style.”

Beggs further explained her management style while speaking to Newsweek, saying: “My team is very motivated and only takes time when they need to.

“I also do not consider anything crazy because if it is important to my team, it is important to me.”

I imagine Beggs’ inbox has imploded with CVs from people pining to work for a boss who deals with holiday requests like this.

The Home Alone star revealed what it’s really like to work with Rogen while he’s high

Catherine O’Hara has lifted the lid on what it’s really like to work with Seth Rogen on set when he’s high.

The veteran actress, 71, is among Hollywood’s finest starring in Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s upcoming Apple TV+ series, The Studio.

It’s something of a love letter to the film world, while also being a comical caricature of the cinematic sphere and all those who occupy it.

Rogen and his childhood best friend Goldberg have rallied a host of A-list stars for his latest project, with icons such as O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders being at the helm.

There’s plenty of other extraordinary celebrity cameos too in The Studio. It’s also shot as a series of long takes – in a similar fashion to Netflix’s Adolescence, the filming of which has wowed viewers.

Rogen, 42, wore plenty of hats for The Studio, as he served as a writer, director and executive producer, as well as starring in it.

He portrays the newly appointed head of the embattled Continental Studios, Matt Remick, who steps into the huge shoes of O’Hara’s character Patty Leigh after she’s abruptly given the boot.

The synopsis for the 10-part show explains: “As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their own insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films.

“With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe.

“As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”

Rogen had a lot of responsibilities to juggle on set, including wrangling a host of A-listers – so it’s probably a good job that he stays a ‘little stoned all the time’, as he told LADbible Group.

The Superbad star is a loud and proud stoner, who previously revealed he’s been smoking weed ‘all day, every single day’ since he was about 20 years old.

Inevitably, there’s a few joints passed around in The Studio – but it’s the odd spliff here and there, rather than reaching Pineapple Express proportions with cross joints flying about.

Although some people might presume weed smokers are a bit lackadaisical, according to his co-star O’Hara, it has almost the opposite effect on Rogen.

Speaking to LADbible ahead of The Studio’s debut on 26 March, the Canadian legend opened up about how the actor keeps up his long-standing weed routine without compromising his work on set.

Home Alone star O’Hara explained: “People ask me, ‘Is he stoned? Is he smoking all day?’ If he is, I would never know it.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever worked with anyone who is more aware of everything going on on the set. [Rogen] is director, producer, star in the scene and you’re so aware, so collaborative and so loose and fun, but on the money.

“It’s crazy. Really, [Rogen] is seriously impressive.”

The comedian confessed that he stays ‘a little stoned all the time’, to which O’Hara responded: “Well, it works! I wish it would work for me.”

But like with many things in life, Rogen says it’s a case of different strokes for different folks.

“It doesn’t work for most people,” he laughed – yes, in the laugh. “I don’t offer it to the other cast members.”

Rogen then told LADbible how he managed to multitask on the set of The Studio while also staying high all the time.

He explained that although his multiple roles in the project meant it was a ‘busier job’, he would ‘find ways to accommodate’ his love for weed.

“I would never prioritise weed smoking over actually filming the show,” Rogen said – before revealing that thankfully, there was plenty of windows of opportunity for him to take advantage of.

“There’s a lot of downtime on sets as well,” Rogen added. “I’d say I kept up a pretty good pace.”
