The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, who was married to Fox, 38, for a decade, made it clear that he’s fed up with the 34-year-old singer.

Last week, Machine Gun Kelly appeared to hit back at reports from TMZ that he and his pregnant ex were not speaking to one another after he shared a cryptic post on Instagram.

He revealed his new beard and hairstyle as he asked his followers: “how can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything.”

In a now-deleted Instagram Story shared on Sunday (February 2), Green reposted an image that had been shared by a fan page, refuting the claims that the pair were not speaking in the lead-up to their baby’s due date next month.

He wrote in the caption: “Bro. Just be honest for once in your life,” adding: “Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people.” To accompany the post, the 51-year-old included a clip of MGK’s track ‘Don’t Let Me Go’.

The dad-of-five’s fiery post comes amid ongoing speculation about Fox and MGK’s split, which made headlines in December 2024 – less than a month after they announced they were expecting a baby together.

Before her relationship with MGK, Fox was married to Green for 11 years. The former couple, who finalized their divorce in 2021, share three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight.

Meanwhile, MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, is also a father to 15-year-old daughter Casie from a previous relationship.

Green has previously voiced his frustration about the ‘Home’ musician amid the sudden split from Fox, which was alleged to be because she found something on his phone. Speaking to TMZ in December, he said: “He’s in his 30s, isn’t he? In your 30s, f***. Grow up. Like, she’s pregnant.”

But despite his anger, Green also shared that his main concern is Fox’s well-being, along with their three children. “I’m heartbroken about it. Because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that,” he said.

Ultimately, the Knots Landing actor – who also has a two-year-old son, Zane, with fiancée Sharna Burgess, and a 22-year-old son, Kassius, with ex Vanessa Marcil – hopes for a positive outcome.

“I hope that the best outcome that could possibly happen happens for her, and for the baby, and for our kids,” he concluded.

While Fox and MGK have largely stayed quiet about their split, the ‘Lonely Road’ artist’s recent post appeared to address reports that the two were no longer on speaking terms.

On January 28, Baker posted a cryptic message to Instagram, writing: “How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything?”

Though he didn’t clarify the statement, it seemed to challenge TMZ’s report that he and the Transformers actress had gone completely silent toward each other.

Fox has previously been candid about the hardships she and MGK endured, including a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2023.

“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being,” the Subservience star told WWD. “And I’ve really analyzed ‘why was that? Why was that so difficult for me?’”

She revealed that she had suffered an ectopic pregnancy in the past and experienced other complications, but this particular loss was especially painful. “Not with someone who I was so in love with,” she added.

While she was grateful to have her former partner by her side, she also said that their deep connection made the loss even harder.

“That love element really made this miscarriage really tragic for me and left me with a lot of grief and a lot of suffering,” she said.

Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger’s blunt three-word response to President Trump’s response to American Airlines crash

Chesley Sullenberger, otherwise known as Captain Sully, has given a blunt response to President Donald Trump following his comments about the recent plane crash.

On January 29, American Airlines flight 5342 tragically collided with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River in Washington D.C.

Sadly, all 64 people onboard the plane and three on the helicopter were declared dead.

As officials investigate what could have caused the fatal incident, Trump wasted no time in giving his verdict.

As reported by BBC News, President Donald Trump has implied that the hiring process of the Federal Aviation Administration could have led to the tragedy.

He has repeatedly lashed out at “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs in federal departments.

There is no evidence to support his claims.

When asked about Trump’s remarks during an interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, Sullenberger paused for several seconds before responding.

“Not surprised. Disgusted,” he said.

Sullenberger, who successfully landed US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, saving all 155 passengers and crew aboard, has been an outspoken critic of the former president.

Reflecting on the recent tragedy, Sullenberger told O’Donnell he was “immediately devastated” upon hearing the news of the D.C. crash.

“It hit me deeply, intensely. The loss of those lives, those precious lives,” he said.

Sullenberger acknowledged the anguish of the victims’ families, adding: “I can imagine the families of those who are lost and the grief they must feel, and they’re looking for some reason, some explanation that has yet, is not available to us, one day will be.”

He commended the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) as the “gold standard” for accident investigations and emphasized the complexity of such probes.

“It’s a long process,” he said, noting that the final report on the 2009 Hudson River landing took 16 months to complete.

Sullenberger detailed the investigative procedures, which may involve analyzing cockpit voice recordings, flight data, and extensive detective work.

“But they will follow the truth, they will follow the facts wherever they lead,” he said.

He expressed confidence that the NTSB’s findings would be made public and that the aviation industry would take necessary steps to learn from the tragedy.

“And as we always do after such a tragedy, the entire industry will learn these terrible lessons that we learned at great cost,” he added.

In a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post, Sullenberger revealed that he had been a registered Republican for most of his life but emphasized that he had “always voted as an American.”

He later endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential race and appeared in campaign ads condemning Trump’s leadership.

“Now it’s up to us to overcome his attacks on our very democracy, knowing nearly a quarter million Americans won’t have a voice, casualties of his lethal lies and incompetence,” Sullenberger said in a 2020 advertisement for VoteVets and The Lincoln Project.

Under the Biden administration, he served as the U.S. representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Where Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster is now after he launched it into space seven years ago

Launched in in 2018, Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster is still floating through space seven years later

Launched into space back in 2018, Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster continues to ‘drive’ around the universe as it floats across the cosmos.

And it is pretty eye-opening to think about just how far the vehicle has gone as it meanders around the cosmic void that is space.

53-year-old Musk launched the car into space back in February 2018 as part of his SpaceX project, with the vehicle acting as the dummy payload for a Falcon Heavy test flight.

With a mannequin sat in the driving seat of the convertible motor – called Starman in tribute to the late, great David Bowie – it was dressed in an astronaut suit similar to what they might wear on a spacewalk or during lift or in to space.

Why did Elon Musk launch the Tesla Roadster in to space?

Musk put the Tesla Roadster in to the space rocket as a practical joke.

Labelling the launch as having a 50 percent chance of success or failure, he said he wanted the vessel to carry the ‘silliest’ thing that him and his SpaceX team could come up with.

Musk even took to X – which was then Twitter, given this was years before he had bought the platform for $44 billion – to ask people for their suggestions as to what should end up in space.

Enter the 2010 Roadster; a car that Musk would personally drive on his daily commute to and from work at Tesla headquarters in Austin, Texas. It was this very car that ended up being blasted into space.

Where is the Tesla Roadster now?

The Falcon Heavy test flight took place on 6 February, 2018. It was an immediate success, with it at the time the most powerful rocket to ever operate.

Images of the Tesla Roadster went viral after the successful launch, with the car and mannequin photographed with Earth as the backdrop. Pretty surreal, really.

Since then, one website – whereisroadster.com – has been tracking the whereabouts of the Roadster as it continues to travel through space.

As of publishing this article, the car has been in space for six years, 11 months, and 25 days, meaning its seven year anniversary is almost here.

Right now, the car is a whopping 239,964,516 miles from planet Earth. And on top of that, it is moving at an incredibly 3,988 miles per hour (mph), making it the fastest car in the history of humanity.

It is now moving towards the Sun, with it 151,502,900 miles from the star.

What can you find on the Tesla Roadster?

Musk decided to have a bit of fun with his personal Roadster.

Setting the car sound system to loop one continuous song, it has been playing Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ on repeat. If the battery in the car is still working, the song will have been played more than 694,000 times.

There is also a copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in the glove box alongside a Hot Wheels miniature figurine on the dashboard area.

What we know about asteroid that has a chance of directly hitting earth in seven years

The asteroid has caught NASA’s ‘attention’

NASA has identified an asteroid that has a small chance of hitting Earth in 2032.

The asteroid named ‘2024 YR4’ has been detected almost 27 million miles away, yet the space agency say it has caught their ‘attention’.

So here’s everything we know so far about this asteroid.

Artist's impression of the asteroid 2024 YR4 (ESA-Science Office)

Artist’s impression of the asteroid 2024 YR4 (ESA-Science Office)

When was 2024 YR4 discovered?

2024 YR4 was discovered by NASA’s Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) in Chile on 27 December, last year.

ATLAS reported their finding to the Minor Planet Center, who confirmed its positional measurements.

How big is 2024 YR4?

The asteroid is estimated to be 130 to 330 feet (40 to 100 metres) across, according to estimates from its reflected light.

At the moment, it’s moving away from Earth at around 8.24 miles per second (13.26 kilometers per second).

When could 2024 YR4 strike earth? (and how this was calculated)

NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies has said that there is a chance 2024 YR4 could collide with our planet on six separate times between 2032 and 2071, according to Gizmodo.com.

Although, Paul Chodas, director of NASA’s Centre for Near Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), has given the asteroid a 1.2 percent probability of hitting Earth in 2032.

“We are not worried at all, because of this 99 percent chance it will miss,” he said. “But it deserves attention.”

The European Space Agency have also said that it’s 99 per cent likely that it was pass safely in 2032, however, a possible impact ‘cannot be ruled out’.

Asteroid impact probabilities have been calculated by NASA’s Sentry Impact Risk Table. The table is basically an automated monitoring system that recalculates the impact possibilities of asteroids close-by to Earth over the next 100 years.

The asteroid was discovered in December (Getty Stock Images)

The asteroid was discovered in December (Getty Stock Images)

Currently, according to CNEOS, the asteroid is on level three of the Torino Scale, which falls under the category of ‘meriting attention from astronomers’ – with the good news being that asteroids on that end of the scale have an impact probability above one per cent.

According to a statement from the International Asteroid Warning Network, the asteroid’s ‘risk corridor’ – the most likely geographical area it could impact – is from South America across the Atlantic Ocean to sub-Saharan Africa.

What impact would it have on earth?

The asteroid is big enough to potentially wipe out a city, such as Kansas City, according to Mashable.

But Rankin also told Space.com that ‘people should absolutely not worry about this yet’.

“Impact probability is still very low, and the most likely outcome will be a close approaching rock that misses us.” he added.

What we could do to protect the plant in event of a strike?

NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission proved to be a success in 2022, as they intentionally managed to crash a spacecraft into an asteroid as method of deflection, the BBC reports.

The mission was a first-of-its-kind, and the DART spacecraft collided with Dimorphos, shortening its orbit by 32 minutes.

So I guess we could just do that again if needed?

White House confirms Elon Musk’s official job title is within President Trump’s government

The White House has confirmed what Elon Musk will actually be doing in Donald Trump’s government.

It’s safe to say that Trump’s first few weeks back in the Oval Office have been anything but quiet.

He’s had a tragedy to deal with, as 67 people lost their lives in a plane crash, and he also appears to have started a trade war with Canada and Mexico.

However, the tariffs he wanted to impose on the countries have been put on pause for 30 days as negotiations continue, per Sky News.

As he is still in the early days of his second term, Trump has been sorting out his government, and that includes his new friend Elon Musk.

The billionaire entrepreneur, known as the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has reportedly gained significant influence within the administration.

His position has granted him access to sensitive databases and the authority to restructure departments, with the goal of reducing government spending.

Despite public scrutiny, the White House has offered a vague definition of Musk’s role, describing him as a “special government employee.”

The designation carries unique privileges, raising questions about the extent of Musk’s power within the administration.

According to AP News, the title of special government employee subjects Musk to less stringent ethics and financial disclosure regulations compared to other federal officials.

Additionally, President Trump has allocated Musk office space within the White House complex to oversee operations at the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

This temporary organization, led by Musk, was established without congressional approval.

Amid concerns about potential conflicts of interest, President Trump has defended Musk’s appointment, assuring the public of oversight measures.

“Elon can’t do and won’t do anything without our approval,” Trump stated.

“Where we think there’s a conflict or there’s a problem, we won’t let him go near it, but he has some very good ideas,” he added.

Musk’s involvement in the administration has been viewed by some as a reward for his support during Trump’s presidential campaign.

The tech mogul backed Trump against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, contributing approximately $250 million through America PAC, a super political action committee he founded.

Musk got off to a shaky start with his new government role, as some believed that he performed a fascist salute during the inauguration.

During the festivities, Musk delivered a speech about humanity’s future on Mars.

At one point, he struck his chest and raised his right arm upward at an angle, stating: “I feel it in my heart.” He repeated the motion while facing an American flag, sparking enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

“My heart goes out to you,” Musk declared. “It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured. Thanks to you. We’re gonna have safe cities, finally safe cities. Secure borders, sensible spending. Basic stuff. And we’re gonna take ‘Doge’ to Mars.”

Despite Musk’s supporters arguing that the billionaire’s gesture represented him giving his heart to the American people, critics quickly drew comparisons between Musk’s action and the infamous Nazi salute.

Musk addressed the criticism directly on X, dismissing the accusations.

“Frankly, they need better dirty tricks. The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is so tired,” he wrote, referring to what he has previously described as a “dirty tricks campaign” against him after distancing himself from the Democratic Party.

Doctor shares truth behind whether viral 'mouth taping' trend is actually benefitting you

Doctor shares truth behind whether viral ‘mouth taping’ trend is actually benefitting you

Doctor shares truth behind whether viral 'mouth taping' trend is actually benefitting you

Does it actually work or not?

If you’re concerned over the quality of sleep you’re getting, then you might be aware of a viral trend known as ‘mouth taping’.

This one does pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, people tape their mouth shut when they go to sleep so they can breath through their nose instead as they believe this will give them better health benefits.

The trend has also gained some traction among athletes, with Manchester City footballer Erling Haaland taping his mouth shut when he wants to get some shut eye.

One suspects that his gifts as a footballer aren’t all down to mouth taping, but he reckons that it helps him sleep and that breathing through is nostrils is the way to go.

Mouth taping while you sleep and work out, is that a good idea? (Instagram/@erling.haaland)

Mouth taping while you sleep and work out, is that a good idea? (Instagram/@erling.haaland)

Appearing on the Impaulsive podcast, Haaland said he taped his mouth to encourage his body to breath through the nostrils while sleeping, saying: “I think sleep is the most important thing in the world. To sleep good, simple kind of things like blue-blocking glasses, shutting out all the signals in the bedroom, I think is really important.

“I sleep with it. Doing a lot of things is not good but doing small things every single day for a longer period really pays off.”

However, it’s also gained some criticism from others who have warned that taping your mouth shut to sleep can be ‘dangerous’.

Some experts have called mouth taping ‘an extreme way of encouraging nose breathing that has some serious health risks’, as they reckon the benefits of breathing through your nose while you sleep are outweighed by blocking your mouth so you can’t breathe through it.

Dr Zac Turner was answering reader questions for news.com.au when he received a query about the mouth taping trend, and said that taping your mouth shut as a health hack sounds ‘a little unhinged’.

The doctor explained that breathing through your nose was ‘like upgrading to first class on a flight’ and ‘just better’ for getting air into your lungs.

According to a doctor breathing through your nose is good, taping up your mouth to do it is not so great. (Getty Stock Photo)

He added that to the benefit of mouth taping, ‘encouraging nasal breathing is a worthy goal’ and you might even get a better night’s sleep from breathing through your nose while in dreamland.

Despite this, he warned that there were big problems with taping shut one of your breathing holes.

The doctor said: “If your nose is congested (hello, allergies) or you have structural issues like a deviated septum, mouth taping could lead to serious problems.

“Imagine waking up in the middle of the night unable to breathe. Not exactly the beauty sleep you were hoping for.”

Explaining the drawbacks further, Dr Turner warned that there was the potential for ‘skin irritation’ if you used the wrong kind of tape.

He said that while the trend ‘isn’t inherently dangerous’, there was ‘not enough scientific evidence to back up the suggested benefits’ and so doctors would not really recommend it, instead suggesting other ways a person could breathe through their nose without trying the trend, such as clearing your nose, switching up your sleeping position or checking for structural issues, like a deviated septum.

All 67 bodies recovered from Potomac River

Nearly a week after a devastating mid-air collision over the Potomac River, recovery crews have successfully retrieved all 67 victims from the wreckage, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The deadly crash – which involved an American Airlines jet and an Army Black Hawk helicopter – remains under investigation as authorities work to determine how the two aircraft ended up on a collision course.

Final Victims Recovered, Focus Shifts to Wreckage Removal

The tragic incident involved a Bombardier CRJ700 jet operating as American Airlines Flight 5342 and a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter conducting a training mission, per CNN.

With all victims now recovered, attention turns to clearing the remaining debris from the river — an operation that has been slow and painstaking due to the challenging winter conditions.

On Tuesday morning, recovery teams hoisted more pieces of the downed jet from the water, including a section of its fuselage, which was seen lying sideways on a barge with its cabin windows clearly visible.

Later in the afternoon, the aircraft’s tail — adorned with American Airlines’ recognizable red, white, and blue livery — was removed from the river.

As of Tuesday afternoon, 66 of the 67 victims had been identified.

Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has delayed its planned public briefing on the crash for a second consecutive day, citing the need for further verification of data from the Black Hawk’s flight data recorder.

“NTSB needs additional information to verify data points from the Black Hawk,” the agency posted on X (formerly Twitter), adding that a written update would be provided later in the day.

Difficult Recovery Conditions Hamper Operations

Recovering the wreckage from the Potomac has been a grueling effort, made more challenging by the freezing winter temperatures and the mangled state of the aircraft remains.

Divers equipped with specialized hydraulic tools have been working to access submerged portions of the jet’s fuselage. However, the complexity of the wreckage has necessitated the use of larger salvage equipment to remove heavier debris.

The recovery effort has involved nearly every dive team in the region, including units from the US Coast Guard, the FBI’s Washington Field Office, DC Fire, and the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Dean Naujoks, a riverkeeper with the Potomac Riverkeeper Network, was given access to the crash site to assist investigators in searching for debris. Speaking with CNN affiliate WRAL, Naujoks described the scene, saying: “I recovered a window panel, a seat, insulation, an airplane manual, and a bag of sugar packets.

“Everything was covered in jet fuel.”

“It was just the saddest day I’ve ever been on the river,” he added. “My heart goes out to all the families of the victims.”

Key Findings from Flight Data Recorders

Investigators are now turning their attention to the data recovered from both aircraft’s flight recorders in hopes of determining what went wrong.

Preliminary analysis of American Airlines Flight 5342’s flight data recorder indicates that the aircraft’s nose pitched slightly upward just before impact – suggesting that 34-year-old Captain Jonathan Campos and his 28-year-old co-pilot First Officer Samuel Lilley may have attempted to avoid the impeding danger.

“At one point very close to the impact, there was a slight change in pitch, an increase in pitch,” NTSB member Todd Inman said in a press conference on Saturday evening.

The plane’s data shows it was flying at an altitude of roughly 325 feet at the time of the collision. Meanwhile, air traffic control records suggest the Black Hawk helicopter was supposed to maintain a maximum altitude of 200 feet.

Radar data retrieved from the airport control tower revealed that the helicopter was at 300 feet just before the crash — well above its designated flight corridor. The NTSB’s investigative update, released Tuesday, confirms this discrepancy.

Weather Expected to Complicate Recovery Efforts

As recovery teams continue their work, they now face another hurdle: an incoming winter storm. By Wednesday, Washington, DC, is expected to see a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain — worsening the already treacherous conditions for salvage crews.

Despite these challenges, aviation experts believe investigators will eventually have a clear picture of what caused the disaster.

“We have radar data, we have eyewitnesses, and we have all the wreckage,” Steven Wallace, former director of the FAA’s Office of Accident Investigation, told CNN. “There’s nothing missing.”

For now, recovery teams remain focused on clearing the wreckage and providing answers to the grieving families who lost loved ones in what is now the deadliest aviation disaster in a generation.

As a tribute to those lost in the crash, American Airlines will hold a moment of silence on Wednesday, marking one week since the fatal accident.

Toenail Surgery: A Complete Guide For Patients

 image

Nail Surgery: A Complete Guide

If you are reading this, then the chances are you are struggling with an ingrown toenail or another painful nail condition and are considering nail surgery as a solution. Our Podiatrists at The House Clinics, Bristol, often see and treat people suffering from problematic nails.

It is essential to have your toenail examined by a fully qualified podiatrist to determine the cause of your nail condition and advise on the best treatment. Sometimes the issue can be addressed with minor intervention, but often, ingrown toenails and some other nail conditions are best resolved by nail surgery, involving a partial or complete nail extraction.

Read our guide to help you understand why you may need surgery and what to expect.

Ingrowing toenail surgery, The House Clinics, Bristol

1. What Does Toenail Surgery Treat?

The most common reasons why you may need toenail surgery include the following:

Ingrowing Toenails:

An ingrowing toenail occurs when the corner or side of your toenail begins to grow into the soft flesh (sulcal tissue) and sets off an inflammatory response. It will usually become very painful, red, and swollen and may become infected with accompanying puss. It is usually the big toe that is affected.

Causes of ingrowing toenails vary from genetics to poor footwear. Some people are born with nails where the lateral curvature of the nail plate is excessive or exaggerated, and the nail is more likely to grow into the surrounding skin. Other causes include poor nail cutting, nail picking, trauma, ill-fitting shoes, smoking, and medications that can cause the nail to change shape.

Sometimes an ingrowing toenail can be treated at home, but when it becomes painful and infected, it should be seen by a Podiatrist who will advise the best treatment to alleviate pain and promote healing. Nail Surgery is often the best solution for recurrent ingrowing toenails.

Ingorwn toenails are the most common reason why nail surgery is performed, The House Clinics Podiatry, Bristol

2. Deformed or Thickened Toenails (Gryphosis):

Deformed and thickened toenails can develop due to trauma and injury, practising certain sports involving lots of toe impact (football, running, rambling), and ill-fitting shoes. A fungal infection of the nail can also cause the nail to thicken. In the case of thickened nails, just a fraction of an extra millimeter thickness in nails can put excessive pressure on the nail bed. This causes soreness, sometimes a tissue breakdown under the nail, and then ulcerations. When nails are damaged or deformed, the nail can cut into the skin tissue or leave the nail bed exposed and sore – raising the risk of infection.

Podiatry treatment for this type of nail problem varies depending on how severely damaged the nail is. Nail surgery can be a good solution, though if other interventions are unsuccessful.

Damaged and painful toenails can be treated by a podiatrist at The House Clinics, BristolThickened toenails can be treated by a podiatrist at The House Clinics, Bristol

What Are The Benefits of Toenail Surgery?

Patients who come to The House Clinics are very relieved after the procedure for the following reasons:

  • Nail Surgery is a permanent cure to your problem
  • Pain is relieved & the cause of infection removed
  • A Pain-free procedure with minimal discomfort afterwards
  • Normal activities can be resumed
  • No need to take time off work/school
  • Being able to wear regular shoes again
  • Local anaesthetic, no fasting required
  • Partial nail removal is cosmetically acceptable

What Does The Procedure Involve?

  • On the day of the procedure, you can carry on with your normal routine, including eating and drinking and taking any medications (unless you are told not to). Still, it is important to give yourself some downtime after the procedure, put your feet up and take it easy for the rest of the day.
  • The toe is anaesthetised with a local anaesthetic applied at the base of the toe. This is the only painful part of the procedure and is no worse than an ordinary injection.
  • When the toe is completely numb (and we always check!), an antiseptic solution will be applied to your toe to minimise the chance of infection. The offending nail or piece of the nail will then be removed.
  • A chemical solution (phenol) is applied to stop the nail from regrowing.
  • A protective dressing will be applied, and the operation is complete. The whole procedure is over and done within an hour (for one toe).
  • A follow-up appointment will be arranged with you so that the podiatrist can assess and re-dress the toe.
  • You can then head home and relax for the rest of the day with your feet up!

It is always our preference not to perform a complete nail extraction if it can be avoided. However, in certain cases, we may advise this as the best treatment depending on your condition. In most cases, partial removal is performed.

Does Nail Surgery Hurt?

It’s normal to worry about how painful nail surgery might be. Reassuringly, the only slightly painful part is the injection used to administer anaesthetic – very similar to the one you may have in your gums at the Dentist. Once the toe is numb, you will not experience any pain while the nail is removed. After the procedure, when the anaesthetic wears off, the toe will be cushioned in a protective dressing. It may feel a little tender but should not be painful at all. You just need to take care not to knock it against something!

Our podiatrists are experienced in performing nail surgery on young children and those who may be anxious.

How long does it take to recover from toenail removal?

Complete recovery from toenail surgery takes approximately 4-6 weeks. You can carry on with your normal activities and routine, but you should avoid certain sporting activities and anything that may irritate the operation site until it is healed. You will need to visit the podiatrist for a follow-up appointment to check the toe and reapply a dressing. Regular dressing of the toe is also required by the patient. Our team is always on hand if you have any concerns after the operation.

How Much Does Nail Surgery Cost?

Nail Surgery costs £375 for one toe and £110 for each additional toe. This price includes your initial assessment, the treatment, anaesthetic, dressings, and a follow-up appointment.

An initial Podiatry consultation is £60. The podiatrist will only advise nail surgery if it is the best solution to your problematic nail. In some cases, other interventions can work well.

NHS Vs Private – Why Should I Pay For Nail Surgery?

Here at The House Clinics, Our Podiatrist Team prides itself in providing a highly personal, friendly, and professional service. The cost of Nail Surgery is a reflection of the expert skill and knowledge required to perform nail surgery safely and effectively to ensure your rapid recovery. Before the operation, our Podiatrists will take the time to get to know you and your particular toenail problem and provide excellent care before, during, and after the procedure. They are also always on hand to answer questions or concerns.

  • Highly convenient – No waiting times
  • Personalised service
  • Professional treatment and advice from the same podiatrist throughout the course of your treatment and aftercare.
  • Convenient appointment times (evenings and Saturdays) or at a time of day that suits you (The NHS often only offer certain days and times).
  • Comfortable and relaxed clinic environment

How Do I Book Nail Surgery?

If you have been told by a nurse or GP that you need nail surgery, you can book an appointment immediately (1 hour) at one of our clinics without needing an initial consultation. If you would like to chat with a podiatrist first, we can offer you a free telephone consultation to discuss the procedure and answer any questions you may have.

Otherwise, if you have a painful nail condition that you suspect may need surgery, please book an initial Podiatry Consultation First. The podiatrist will then be able to examine your toe and advise the best treatment for you.

A man who has spent the past 25 years traveling on 1,000 cruise ships has revealed a strange health effect that he’s developed.

Mario Salcedo, who is nicknamed “Super Mario” in cruise circles, has spent more than two decades living at sea.

While his lifestyle may sound like a dream to some, it has come with an unexpected side effect.

In a candid interview with Conde Nast Traveler, the Cuban-born businessman, who recently completed his 1,000th voyage with Royal Caribbean, has shared that he lost his “land legs” as his body had become so accustomed to the motion of cruise ships.

“I’ve lost my land legs. I’m swaying so much I can’t walk in a straight line,” Salcedo said, cited by The New York Post. “I’m so used to being on ships that it feels more comfortable to me than being on land.”

Salcedo’s milestone 1,000th voyage took place aboard the Explorer of the Seas, an 11-night trip from Miami to Panama and the southern Caribbean that set sail on January 5.

Elaine Warren, CEO of The Family Cruise Companion, told Daily Mail that the cruiser’s condition is known as Mal de Débarquement Syndrome (MdDS) – a rare vestibular disorder that makes you feel like you’re moving even when you’re not, per Cleveland Clinic.

“Spending extended time on a cruise ship sounds like a dream for many families. The convenience, entertainment, and all-inclusive nature of the experience make it an attractive idea,” Warren said. “But when you shift from a vacation mindset to actually living at sea, a lot of unexpected things happen — especially to your body.”

Warren noted that long-term cruisers often develop “sea legs,” which is when they become so used to the ship’s movement that walking on land feels disorienting.

“I’ve spent years helping families plan cruise vacations, and while short-term trips are one thing, staying on board long-term is a different experience entirely,” she continued. “The first adjustment is to constant motion. The body adapts to the ship’s movement over time, but that doesn’t always mean in a good way.”

According to the Cleveland Clinic, MdDS symptoms typically fade within 24 hours, but in some cases, they can persist for months or even years.

Salcedo spends around $101,000 per year on cruises. He splits his time between working about five hours a day and enjoying the luxuries of life at sea.

The full-time cruiser previously told the publication that he first fell in love with cruising in 1997 and never looked back. His time at sea was only interrupted once – when he was forced to return to land for 15 months during the pandemic in 2020.

“Nothing could lure me away from them, because I get treated like royalty,” he said about his journeys with Royal Caribbean. “The captains all know me.”

Now, back on the water, it seems Salcedo has no plans to give up his floating paradise, even if it means never walking straight again.

Grammys kid goes viral for reaction to Bianca Censori as people say she ‘needs to go to jail’

A young boy spotted at the Grammys has gone viral on social media thanks to his reaction to Bianca Censori’s wild red carpet outfit.

Now, over the last few decades, you probably thought we had seen it all when it came to red carpet looks. However, as we saw on Sunday night at the 67th annual Grammy Awards, Bianca Censori proved there was MUCH more to see.

The 30-year-old wife of rapper Ye (fka Kanye West), Censori arrived at the biggest night in music wearing a huge oversized black coat.

But moments after stepping out in front of the paparazzi, Censori shed the coat as husband Ye watched on – revealing a “custom made” sheer minidress that left absolutely nothing to the imagination.

The look immediately got people talking on social media, with some people calling for Censori to be arrested for public indecency.

These cries have only been amplified after it was revealed that a young boy walking the red carpet also witnessed Censori’s outfit live and in living color.

In a now-viral post shared on X, a photo shows a rather wide-eyed child peering around a wall in order to get a look at Censori’s red carpet-moment.

“Hes 100% tellin his friends on Fortnite when he gets home,” one X user replied.

A second joked: “Boy saw the opportunity and wasted no time.”

And a third tweeted: “Bro has engraved himself in the Meme Hall of Fame.”

But as previously mentioned, the calls for legal actions were also amplified after the image went viral, with one person tweeting the Recording Academy, saying: “Hi @RecordingAcad @CBS why was Bianca Censori not arrested for indecent exposure instantly, there were minors at your event, no?”

Another tweeted the Los Angeles Police Department’s X page, writing: “@LAPDHQ I was wondering if somebody could please get back to me and let me know why Bianca Censori was not arrested for indecent exposure at the Grammy awards.”

A third added: “Bianca Censori needs to be thrown in jail.”

But despite the outcry, the LAPD has reportedly informed TMZ that no action will be taken against Censori and Ye, with officials telling the outlet that the Grammys are a private event, and no one from the award show has contacted authorities to report any issues related to Censori’s outfit.

As a result, no arrests will be made on this occasion.

Meanwhile, some fans believe they have figured out the reason for Censori’s outrageous outfit.

You see, some believe Ye and wife Bianca were recreating the cover of his 2024 album, Vultures 1 – which featured the rapper dressed entirely in black with his face concealed by a mask, while Censori stood beside him, facing away, wearing nothing but thigh-high boots and a small piece of black fabric.

Over on X, one fan wrote: “Recreated the ‘Vultures 1’ cover in real time.”

“VULTURES 1 COVER VIBES,” added another, with a third agreeing, writing: “She recreated the cover of Vultures 1, holy sh**”.

The rumors led one person to even joke: “This might be Vultures 1 Deluxe cover”.

And there’s certainly no denying the huge publicity the stunt has caused.

As well as making headlines across the globe, Ye has also shared statistics from Google Trends showing just how many people have been searching for Censori’s Grammys look on Google:

Ye may not have walked away with a Grammy on Sunday night – but he and Censori are still the most-talked-about stars from the event.
