The French TV host was a contestant on ITV’s popular game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and seemed to cause a stir when he got stuck on a question.

Host Jeremy Clarkson even felt bad for the chef, who was on the show as part of series 35’s celebrity run, where big names come on to try and win money for a charity of their choice, as Sirieix chose The Right Course.

The First Dates star got stuck on the first question, worth just £100.

He was asked: “Which of these is a method for staying afloat in a swimming pool?”

The options to answer were treading water, drinking water, boiling water, or passing water.

While many were at home screaming at their screens, the 53-year-old had no idea about the answer, though quickly wrote drinking water and boiling water off, thankfully.

And then, he shocked viewers by using his 50/50, though this simply removed the answers that he said weren’t right.

But former Top Gear host Clarkson showed a rare bit of sympathy, telling the host and chef: “Do you know what? I’m going to put you out of my misery.”

As the audience laughed, the host explained each answer to Sirieix, telling him the answer was ‘treading water’, which the chef promptly locked in.

Clarkson joked: “I don’t know how you worked that out, but well done!”

It was a shock, given that Sirieix’s daughter represented Team GB in diving at the Olympics, growing up around pools.

The official show’s account posted on social media: “Is this a #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire first? Fred has used his #FiftyFifty on the first question!”

Making history for all the wrong reasons, the chef went on to win a respectable £64,000 in the end, though Clarkson couldn’t let him go before reminding him of the language barrier once again.

But even though his first language isn’t English, some fans weren’t as forgiving, as one posted: “I don’t care if he’s French and needs all the help he can get Jeremy Clarkson shouldn’t be cheating and helping Fred Sirieix.”

Another wrote: “Clarkson just gave Sirieix the answer to the £100 question for free?”

Sirieix didn’t disagree with Clarkson’s comments, explaining that he doesn’t know certain English words and phrases, understanding that it may be ‘annoying’ that luck was against him for some questions.

Obviously, dropping everything in your life to make NSFW content doesn’t make it a sure-thing, as it comes with its own challenges.

American couple Cece and Kasey met each other when they were police officers, but left law enforcement behind them when they decided to pursue careers in the adult industry.

The couple admitted that they get ‘some pretty crazy hate comments’, while Cece’s friend Barbara admitted that she was ‘terrified’ when she was told about the career change.

Speaking about when the couple got together, Barbara admitted: “When Cece got with Kasey, I was not happy at all,” saying that she was scared about a potential ‘sugar momma’ arrangement between the two.

In the end though, Kasey fit in to her life, and he even helps her make some adult content after leaving his job last year.

Suzanne Manus, from Alabama, US, was driving back home after a shopping trip when her rechargeable vape, resting between her legs, blew up last November.

The 32-year-old said her legs were set on fire and she was forced to pull over on the highway and jump out of the vehicle to remove her trousers.

The mum-of-two suffered extensive burns on her inner thighs, the top of her private parts and bottom, and underwent two surgeries to heal her wounds.

“I was on the way home from shopping and I was in the car on my own and on hands-free to my husband,” Suzanne explained.

“I was just driving down the road talking to my husband and then the next thing you know, my vape just exploded.

“It was in my lap and it exploded and I had an immediate reaction.

“The explosion scared me and my husband could hear me as he was on Bluetooth in my car.

“What he heard was the ‘boom’ of the explosion and me screaming and saying I was on fire and then everything went quiet. He thought I was dead for about 45 seconds.”

She continued: “Immediately, my foot pressed the accelerator. I was swerving all over the road. I looked down and saw I was on fire and in that moment I thought I was going to die.

“I had to take my pants off on the side of the highway. I called my husband back and I was crying.

“By the time I was in the ambulance my car was just one huge fireball on the side of the road.”

Suzanne, who previously smoked for seven years, spent a month in hospital recovering and now has to put lotion and Vaseline on the damaged areas ‘four or five times a day’ at home.

Although her wounds are healing well, she is still struggling with the trauma of the fire.

“For the first couple of days, it felt like I was still on fire. I was burning and they had to scrape and clean my skin,” Suzanne added.

“I was really close to losing my leg, thankfully this did not happen.

“It was a little bit in my private area but nothing that required surgery there. It was on either side of my inner thighs and reached all the way back halfway up my butt.

“When I looked at my legs after the first surgery, I couldn’t see how they could get better.

“It looked so bad and it looked like a zombie had attacked me in these areas.

“I thought I’d be left scarred for life at this point as I didn’t know what to expect after my next surgery.”

According to Variety, the pair ‘walked the carpet, got in his car and left’.

On Friday evening, a medical transport plane crashed 30 seconds after take off in the US state of Pennsylvania.

Initial reports stated that the plane had disappeared from flight radars shortly after take-off and is thought to have fallen out the sky at a speed of 11,000 feet per minute.

The aircraft was carrying a mother and her child alongside four crew members on route to the Mexican city of Tijuana via Springfield, Missouri.

All six passengers – who were Mexican nationals – are confirmed to have died in the crash, meanwhile Philadelphia’s mayor has reported one death and 19 injuries on the ground.

Audio released from the air traffic control tower at Northeast Philadelphia Airport has now revealed the jet’s final moments.

The audio, which was originally published by Fox News, controllers can be heard giving the Medevac Learjet 55 departure details ahead of its scheduled take off.

Shortly after the plane takes off, controllers can be heard attempting to get in contact with the pilots, as the reality of the situation unfolds.

“What’s going on down there?” one controller can be heard saying, before a second voice confirms the news of a ‘lost aircraft’.

“We have a lost aircraft,” the second controller says. “We’re not exactly sure what happened. So, we’re trying to figure it out.

“The field is going to be closed so no inbounds-outbounds.”

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, who had been operating the flight, confirmed the four crew members onboard were a pilot, copilot, physician and paramedic, while the two crew members were a mother and daughter.

A spokesperson for Jet Rescue Air Ambulance added that the girl had been in Philadelphia for life-saving treatment. It’s understood that she’d completed her treatment and had been discharged ahead of the flight.

“When an incident like this happens, it’s shocking and surprising,” spokesperson Shai Gold said. “All of the aircraft are maintained, not a penny is spared because we know our mission is so critical.”

Meanwhile Philadelphia city managing director Adam Thiel has said it will likely take a couple more days until the number of casualties on the ground can be confirmed (via BBC).
