The scary footage reveals what the deep sea can consist of, if you’re short on luck

A content creator took it upon himself to drop a drone to the bottom of The Great Blue Hole, located off the coast of Belize.

While it may sound like a mythical location, it is a real marine sinkhole that is about 124 metres deep and 318 metres across.

In fact, the sinkhole is so famous that divers travel to the country to experience it themselves, after it was discovered by explorer Jacque Cousteau, who coined it as one of the top five scuba diving sites in the world.

And as with most things to do with the ocean, there is an air of mystery around the hole, and what it may contain.

Keeping with human nature, the need to get to the bottom of holes took over for YouTuber Will Mitchell, who decided to drop a drone down the hole to see what he could find.

Previously, attempts to get to the bottom has resulted in the discovery of the remains of two people who died there as well as the likes of a GoPro and plastic waste.

However, truly exploring The Great Blue Hole isn’t so simple. When a pair of submarines headed down there in 2018, they found a bustling aquatic life.

But then at a certain point, everything seems to disappear as at about 90 metres deep, there is a layer of hydrogen sulphide beyond which the water becomes much darker and devoid of life.

This video shows footage captured by a contraption made up of dive weights, lights and a GoPro.

However, one of the main concerns was how the sharks down there would react to the drone. In the clip, the shark can be seen circulating before it suddenly vanishes.

And then, in an absolute jump scare it quickly reappears and smashes into the camera.

The drone is thrown around, giving viewers a bit of travel sickness to be honest, and completely knocks off the controller’s ‘orientation’.

“The shark just blitzed us,” he said, as they all appear frightened the creature will destroy the device. However, it seems to make it away unscathed – the shark’s just not that bothered about a lump of metal apparently.

In another part of the footage, the contraption uses grabbers to pick up a plastic bag and retrieve it from littering the ocean.

The GoPro creepily captured the stark contrast between the Great Blue Hole from above and below the layer of hydrogen sulphide.

The water above it was teeming with life and far more visible. Whereas below lay a disturbing graveyard, was barren of light and activity. Essentially, it seems to be little more than a home for the deceased husks of once-living things that had unfortunately fallen into the depths.

NASA astronauts stranded in space ‘to be paid’ shocking amount after eight day mission turned into over nine months

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams won’t be pocketing too much upon their return to Earth

Astronauts Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Sunita ‘Suni’ Williams might finally be coming back down to Earth after nine months in space.

The pair were sent up to the International Space Station (ISS) by NASA back in June 2024 for what was meant to be an eight-day mission.

But following a number of technical issues with their Boeing Starliner Capsule, they have been left stranded in orbit for over nine months.

Finally though, the astronauts can mark a return date in their calendars, as the rocket with a replacement crew is en-route to the ISS, 400km above the world’s surface.

The joint SpaceX and NASA venture has been in the works for months after Elon Musk agreed to assist with the mission.

As the date of their rescue was pushed back, the mission was set to launch earlier this week, but due to a hydraulic issue, it was pushed back to launch on Friday (14 March).

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket took off from Florida with four astronauts aboard, meaning that, barring any issues, Wilmore and Williams can finally come home.

Despite the pair saying that they were prepared to stay for months, Crew-10 is coming to the rescue, with the arrival at ISS expected tonight (15 March).

Those onboard are NASA’s Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, as well as Japan’s Takuya Onishi and Russia’s Kirill Peskov, who are set to spend six months onboard the ISS.

But with their mission overrunning by about 38 weeks or so, you’d think that they’d get a hefty increase in pay.

Well, you’d be wrong to assume that, as retired NASA astronaut Cady Coleman revealed that there’s no special overtime pay beyond the standard salary.

She explained that they are essentially federal employees, with time in space treated like a work trip on Earth, sadly.

Coleman added: “There is some small amount of money every say for incidentals that they end up being legally obligated to pay you,” but followed this up by revealing that this works out to around $4 (£3) per day, adding up to just just over $1000 (£770) for their time on the ISS.

As well as this, NASA has insisted throughout this ordeal that the astronauts were never really ‘stranded’.

It’s a tough break to say the least, but the pair have remained in high spirits throughout their time in space, even completing a space walk earlier this year.

Looking back on their stay in a press conference earlier this month, Williams spoke about the hardest part of the pair’s unplanned stay aboard the spacecraft.

It’s all to do with the fact that they’ve been unable to see their families and loved ones, adding: “It’s been a roller coaster for them, probably a little more so than for us.”

She later explained: “We came up prepared to stay long, even though we planned to stay short. That’s what we do in human space flight.

“That’s what your nation’s human space flight program is all about, planning for unknown, unexpected contingencies. And we did that.”

Dating expert reveals bedroom act that men think is essential but is actually ‘major turn off’ for women

Take notes, gentlemen

A dating expert has claimed that a certain thing men do in the bedroom which they think is really important, is actually a ‘major turn off’ for women.

You know, fellas, if you want to know what your lady likes in the bedroom, you could always just ask her; communication is a pretty important part of a healthy sex life.

But for those who would prefer not to have that conversation, there’s a plethora of dating experts out there all offering slightly different advice, and you’ll just have to hope that some of it applies to your situation.

That's an hour of rote, tedious boinking done, now back to doomscrolling (Getty Stock Photo)

Among these dating experts is Jana Hocking, host of the Jana with a J podcast, who claimed in news.com.au the thing loads of guys do which they mistakenly think is right is trying to last for absolutely ages between the sheets.

The dating expert said that given the choice between sex lasting 30 seconds or one hour, she and her girlfriends would choose the shorter option, and see it as the ‘biggest compliment ever’.

It should probably be stressed that neither 30 seconds nor one hour is the preferred time for a raunchy romp. A study into the sex lives of 500 couples found that men thought the ideal time was 16 minutes. They also reckon they lasted about nine minutes and on average made it to about six minutes.

That’s counting from the point of penetration, not foreplay, by the way, while another study of 4,000 women found that ladies wanted sex to last for about 25 minutes.

So 30 seconds is too short, and an hour is way too long.

As for the dating expert’s take, Hocking said that men might have got some bad ideas from ‘ridiculous porn videos that go on forever’, and think that it’s important to last a really long time.

She said that women did not want to spend ‘an hour in bed doing the same thing over and over again’, which frankly does sound tedious.

Extolling the virtues of a quickie, she said it was better than a ‘boring long session’ and was ‘less stressful’ as those getting it on didn’t have to worry about ‘lasting the distance’.

She also said ‘variety’ in sex life was a good thing and turning sex into a routine wasn’t great.

Plus when she’s talking about sex lasting 30 seconds she’s not talking about things like foreplay, which the dating expert described as an ‘appetiser’.

The dating expert suggested mixing things up so that your sex life wasn't just minutes of passionless humping (Getty Stock Photo)

She suggested that rather than spending ages of time on the act itself you might prefer to spent the main slice of your amorous moments ‘building anticipation and desire’ up until the point where it all climaxes in a… well, you know.

So there you go. This isn’t licence to call 30 sweaty seconds a job well done, so much as to say that repetitively thrusting away for an hour with little else going on might make for an impressive display of stamina, but is perhaps not the most fun experience you could be having with each other.

Tragic case of conjoined twin who had to live with dead sister attached to her

Tragic case of conjoined twin who had to live with dead sister attached to her

Tragic case of conjoined twin who had to live with dead sister attached to her

Daisy and Violet Hilton endured years of exploitation following their birth in 1908

Here is the gruesome story of how two sisters joined at the hip would die within just days of each other.

Live births of conjoined twins are relatively rare, accounting for an average of one in every 500,000 births in the UK. Meanwhile, global statistics estimate that conjoined twins could to make up anywhere between one in every 50,000 to 200,000 live births.

It is understood that conjoined twins occur from one of two ways, either when a single fertilised egg is only partially split, or when two embryos fuse together during the early stages of development.

Modern scientific advancements mean that most conjoined twins are now able to be surgically split, and the ones which cannot are still able to enjoy a good quality of life.

However, in the not-so-distant past, conjoined twins faced being exploited for money or abused in scientific experiments.

One such example is the story of Brighton-born sisters Daisy and Violet Hilton.

Born in 1908, Daisy and Violet were joined at the hip and would go on to star in 1952 film Chained for Life, which seemed to be inspired by their lives.

Unfortunately Chained for Life seemed to largely make light of the sisters’ situation, with their true backstory being considerably more heart-wrenching.

The girls were sold shortly after their birth to a woman named Mary Hilton and would soon be turned into a ‘freak exhibit’ to earn her money — with the girls controlled by violence, and moulded into becoming talented musicians.

In an attempt to make as much money as possible off the girls, Mary flogged pictures of them from behind the bar she ran and paraded them on tours aged just three.

When Mary died, the conjoined twins were willed – yes, like property – to her daughter Edith, but luckily they eventually managed to get out of the ‘contract’.

Finally free of the exploitative situation, the sisters would remain as performers for the rest of their lives, utilising their musical talents to build a career in vaudeville.

However their career came to an abrupt end in 1961.

Following the end of their career Daisy and Violet went on to get a job working at local shop and made a living for over seven years.

The sisters sadly fell ill with flu in 1969, with illnesses often passing between conjoined twins. Flu would claim Daisy first and Violet not long after.

Their death added a final chilling twist to their story, with Violet ultimately outliving her sister by a number of days. This means she spent this time attached to the rotting corpse of her sister before she herself passed away.

Perhaps even more heartbreaking is the fact that Daisy and Violet would’ve been eligible for separation should they been born in the modern day, but unfortunately medicine wasn’t as advanced enough to do so in the mid-20th century.

There’s some weird stuff on the dark web

It’s probably not a surprise to you to learn that there’s some very weird websites out there on the dark web.

In case you didn’t know it’s basically a hidden part of the internet which you can only access with certain software.

Basically, there’s this thing called the ‘deep web’ which is all the bits of the World Wide Web that are not indexed by search engines for things like online banking, web mail and sites that need some kind of authorisation before you can access them.

Part of the deep web is referred to as the ‘dark web’ and there is much illicit activity going on there, with cyber security specialists saying the place was full of ‘horrible’ sites that ‘do horrible things’.

One man who went looking on the dark web and reckons he found something he wasn’t supposed to was a TikToker named Austin.

He found this incredibly weird website (TikTok/@austinvro)

He told his viewers he’d been ‘going on the dark web’ but soon realised that he was on the ‘wrong side of the dark web’.

There are sites there which aren’t used for foul purposes but there are many, many others which are used for all manner of awfulness.

As for Austin’s discovery, he said: “Normally this would be cool but this a side I’ve never seen before.”

Turning the camera around to show his monitor it displayed the words: “Wanderer are you lost? The dissolved sixfold path awaits.”

That’s already sufficiently weird, and he found it was a site for something called ‘the dissolved sixfold path’.

“I think it’s like a Satanic cult website because there’s a bunch of numbers and it says I’ll be cursed if I fail,” he explained.

Then there’s this that says he will try to humiliate me, try to make me feel unworthy, do not surrender to the warden and keep in mind you are worthy and ready to experience empowerment.

“He uses your shadows to beat you, therefore, you are the only one allowing defeat.

“Cursed are the ones who fail.”

While he reckoned he’d found a weird Satanic cult site there’s all sorts of other things you wouldn’t want to see on there.

A hacker with over 30 years of experience said that cyber criminals were targeting places like hospitals to extort them for money.

He said: “I’ve watched hospitals get encrypted and people are left with a choice: do I pay to decrypt the data or do I risk lives?”

“The bigger payouts that we’re talking about now are easily into the tens of millions. This last, most recent attack, they offered $70 million dollars for the campaign key, which is the key that would have unlocked every single computer encrypted during that attack. So we’re talking high-stakes games here.”

Meanwhile, an ‘ethical hacker’ said that the dark web contained sites that included ‘murder for hire’ and links featuring children.

Woman who manages legal brothel reveals the exact time men will typically cheat on their partners

Catherine De Noire runs one of Europe’s largest legal brothels

Catherine De Noire manages one of Europe’s largest brothels, apparently welcoming in anywhere ‘between 500 and 1,000 people’ in a day.

And among that large client base is married men. She told LADbible that they tend to be coming in saying that their sex life at home ‘doesn’t work’, but don’t want to ‘break the relationship’ by getting into something with a person that’s expecting a long-term commitment.

With a whopping 100 rooms at the establishment, it shuts between 6am and 10am for cleaning.

But it’s not until midday that the ‘first busy hour’ begins. AKA, lunch time.

Office workers apparently visit the brothel on their lunch break, with more clients passing through the doors between 3pm and 5pm.

And this seems to be when the cheating goes on.

“Men who finish work early often stop by. These are usually married men who need to go home on time, so they can’t stay for the night,” Catherine explained.

Things then get quieter between 6pm and 8pm as her evening shift workers start to file in.

Business is steady before picking back up between 1am and 4am, as she explained on Instagram that ‘a few hundred clients arrive’, usually those who have been partying elsewhere first.

“Most of the staff – including bartenders, receptionists and cleaners – are super busy,” she added.

Catherine said most people tend to be gone by 5am, allowing the sex workers to use the last hour to debrief on the night.

With the claim married men tend to visit the brothel as a way of cheating on their partners, she opened up on Instagram about the reasons why they might do so.

“The absence of physical intimacy, it may be missing in their relationship (due to alienation, lack of time or medical reasons) so they choose to pay a professional for this experience instead of finding a mistress,” the manager claimed.

“Lack of emotional intimacy – Many men go just to talk and be heard.

“Boredom – Even when everything seems fine in their relationship, some men seek novelty and excitement.

“Extraordinary fantasies – They may feel their partners would judge them, or they are too shy to share their fantasies, fearing it might disrupt the dynamics of their partnership.

“However, it’s important to note that this isn’t about assigning blame to either partner or suggesting it’s the man’s fault. Sometimes life unfolds in ways that lead to these choices.”

Well, cheating on your partner at a brothel sounds like an interesting excuse for why you’re late home from work.

People left stunned after hearing US President Donald Trump’s ‘real laugh’ for first time in resurfaced clip

The footage is from an episode of Celebrity Apprentice

People have been surprised after watching a resurfaced clip of Donald Trump and hearing his ‘real laugh’.

A lot of the things the US president says are not particularly funny, and in plenty of cases such as his comments about wanting to take over Greenland have been very unfunny for the country in question.

Back in 2017 when the guy off The Apprentice who was nearly cast as the US president in Sharknado 3 actually got inaugurated into the White House plenty weren’t sure how to take him.

Anyway, an old clip of Trump from Celebrity Apprentice where he gets a ride in an F1 car has resurfaced on social media and reminded people what he was like before he became US president.

He was driven around Manhattan by 1978 Formula One champion Mario Andretti in an F1 car with a passenger seat, and Trump laughed as the ride was over.

People watching the clip said they ‘don’t think they’ve ever seen him actually laugh’ and that it was ‘wild’ that this was pretty much the only time they’d seen him do a ‘human laugh’.

Some viewers noted the contrast between the bad acting in the video and the seemingly genuine human moment, something many said they’d not seen from Trump before.

It’s a very long time ago that this clip was taken, and since then Trump has had one full term as US president and started another by renaming the Gulf of Mexico, redesigning the Oval Office and signing a bunch of executive orders.

A whole load of government employees have lost their jobs in sweeping cuts from the new Trump administration, while he’s also been touting for Tesla at the behest of his new best friend Elon Musk.

He was also recently bonked in the face by a boom mic, prompting some of his weirder supporters to suggest it was an assassination attempt as the microphone fluff could be laced with a deadly substance.

There are other old clips of Donald Trump which people have not looked back on as fondly as him laughing.

Back in the harrowing time of 9/11 a phone call from Donald Trump had him boasting about the size of his New York City tower.

He’d said: “40 Wall Street actually was the second tallest building in downtown Manhattan and it was, actually before the World Trade Centre, the tallest.

“And when they built the World Trade Centre it became known as the second tallest and now it’s the tallest.”

Another angle of the controversial incident between Alaila Everett and Kaelen Tucker has been released

Another angle of the controversial incident between high school athletes Alaila Everett and Kaelen Tucker has been released.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the viral clip in question was taken from a 4x200m relay race as part of the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 3 State Indoor Championships on 4 March.

I.C. Norcom High School student Everett appeared to hit Tucker in the back of the head with a baton after she attempted an overtake, causing her to run off the track and go to ground before being treated by medics.

Everett has since released footage that claims her innocence, while alternative footage of the incident may suggest otherwise.

Tucker, 16, has since revealed that she has suffered a concussion and a possible skull fracture as a result of the altercation, while Everett has remained adamant that she ‘lost her balance’ in the race, which led to the incident.

The former, who represents Brookville High School, and her family called for a protective order following her injuries.

Since then, Lynchburg Commonwealth’s Attorney Bethany Harrison confirmed that Everett had been given a misdemeanour charge of assault and battery, as reported by ABC News.

But now, more new footage has surfaced of the incident, showing us a new angle of the athletes making their way around the bend.

The video makes it look as if Everett winds her arm back before hitting Tucker over the head, in contrary to the angle that she had released to Good Morning America.

Everett had previously claimed: “I lost my balance, and when I pumped my arms again, she got hit. I know my intentions and I would never hit somebody on purpose.”

But in the video, her arm can be seen swinging out, away from a regular running motion, before seemingly striking Tucker.

This footage was released after Everett was charged with assault and battery – no court date has been set yet.

But following the controversial incident, the Virginia teen held a rally with a number of her supporters on Thursday (13 March) in an attempt to highlight her innocence.

This rally took place just one day after her charges were filed, and it was held outside her High School in Portsmouth, Virginia.

The 18-year-old addressed her supporters, as reported by WAVY, saying: “Thank y’all for supporting me.

“There’s no one else that wanted to hear my story, except the people that know me and people that know I would never do anything like that, I would never harm anybody.

“I’m not a fighter, I’m not even confrontational, I wouldn’t even do that on purpose, and I thank y’all for believing in me. I love y’all,” she concluded.

The crowd applauded the teen, and started a chant saying ‘we stand with you’, with Portsmouth NAACP President James Boyd also taking the opportunity to speak at the rally, addressing the abuse towards the athlete’s family.

“The Everett family has experienced racial slurs, they’ve experienced death threats, and we think unequivocally that those things are unacceptable,” he highlighted.

Woman who refused to give up window seat for crying child reveals real reason she’s suing airline

The plane passenger that went viral last December has now taken legal action

The woman who made headlines for refusing to give her window seat up for a crying child has explained why she’s suing the airline.

In case you missed it, Jeniffer Castro was a bank employee from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and became the hottest topic on social media after her actions on a GOL Airlines domestic flight back in December 2024.

The footage, which was filmed by another passenger and subsequently went viral, has been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks, with the woman recently deciding to take legal action against the airline.

Castro has undertaken a number of interviews since her newfound fame, including an appearance on the Cola Mais podcast, where she stated that ‘measures are being taken’.

The passenger also claimed that another passenger advised her to move, but she refused, as flight attendants also didn’t intervene.

She was sat in her assigned seat, when a crying toddler started crying as he wanted to sit there as it was by the window, but Castro refused.

This subject matter has been at the epicentre of many online debates, as some believe it to be good plane etiquette, while others think you have a right to stay in your seat.

Castro, 29, also added in an exclusive interview with MailOnline that her life has ‘taken a turn’ since the ‘extremely embarrassing situation’, which was filmed without her consent by another passenger, who she claimed was berating her.

The former banker, who now boasts over two million followers on Instagram, also revealed why she is looking to sue the airline, despite cabin crew not getting involved.

Claiming that she became a target from people who ‘don’t even know the full story’, Castro said that the child crying was ‘uncomfortable’ but ‘understandable’ while travelling.

However, she was shocked by the backlash from the video, and said it affected her career and mental health, to the point where she had to quit her banking job.

Now, Castro has taken legal action, filing against GOL Airlines to seek compensation for distress and damages caused by the clip.

She has also filed against the passenger that filmed it all against her will.

Mentioning ‘judicial secrecy’, she didn’t reveal how much for, but explained: “In addition to the emotional impact, I was also afraid, because we know that, unfortunately, there are many bad people in the world.

“I decided to sue the airline because what happened to me was a huge embarrassment, and this situation should never have reached this point,” she said.

“No one deserves to go through what I went through, being filmed, insulted and attacked just for exercising a basic right,” the Brazilian claimed.

Castro went on: “This lawsuit is not just about reparations, but also about setting a limit on this type of behaviour.

“We all have rights, and they must be respected, regardless of other people’s opinions.”

It’s not all doom and gloom though, as she admitted that she has managed to secure some brand deals as a social media influencer.

She further clarified: “We gathered all the necessary evidence and took the appropriate measures against whoever filmed me.

“There is no action against the child’s mother, only against those who violated my privacy.”

Castro ultimately hopes that this suit will set a new expectation against public shaming and exposure against people’s wills.

Canada’s foreign minister issues chilling message to the rest of the world as trade war between US intensifies

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly had some choice words for President Donald Trump

The Canadian foreign minister has sent out a strong message after Donald Trump made the move to raise trade tariffs.

Despite threatening to raise the metals tariff to 50 percent for Canadian imports, the American president has backtracked slightly due to the backlash, instead placing a 25 percent tariff on goods from Canada and Mexico.

The move has not been well received across the world, as Trump also put an increased tariff on Chinese goods, as well as an initial tariff of 25 percent on steel and aluminium from every country.

Trump has also recently threatened to put a mega 200 percent tariff on EU alcohol, in what would be a huge blow.

But with all these drastic trade changes, leaders of other countries have become disgruntled, with many wanting to maintain a strong relationship with the US.

UK trade chief William Bain has advised Britain to ‘keep calm and carry on exporting’ despite the changes, and reiterated the confidence he had in mitigating the impact of these in an interview with LADbible.

However, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly has adopted a different approach, claiming that ‘nobody is safe’.

She said in a speech in Ottawa: “If the US can do this to us, their closest friend, then nobody is safe,” reports Politico.

Joly called Trump out for his ‘exaggerated’ reasoning behind the increase in tariffs, explaining: “We have done nothing to justify Trump’s attacks on our country, on our economy and our identity.

“Canada is your best friend, best neighbour and best ally.”

She scathingly went on: “The excuse for the first round was exaggerated claims about our border. We addressed all the concerns raised by the US.

“The latest excuse is national security despite the fact that Canada’s steel and aluminum adds to America’s security.”

The relationship between the US and Canada is at a low, especially with the president hinting at annexing the country to make it the US’ 51st state.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has downplayed these claims though, saying that Trump meant it with ‘economic’ reasoning.

He even suggested: “We wouldn’t have to worry about the border and fentanyl coming across because now we would be able to manage that.”
