Wendy Williams Makes Rare Appearance For Son’s College Graduation
Wendy Williams makes a rare appearance for her son’s college graduation.
The former TV talk show host has been photographed while out in Miami on Thursday for her sons graduation. She was riding around on a mobility scooter wearing a black dress.
Williams was also pictured after news broke that she has been left ‘permanently incapacitated’.
Her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, shared an update on her early on-set dementia.
The 60-year-old was all smiles while sat in the back of a black SUV in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The retired star was picking up an order from Sho’nuff Oysters.
She was wearing an army green jacket and had a large ring on her finger as well as multiple bracelets.
She was escorted by her nephew, Travis Finnie.
The sighting comes after her legal guardian shared that her mental health had gotten worse.
A letter filed in court on Nov 12 said: “[Wendy Williams Hunter], an acclaimed entertainer who, tragically, has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,”
The court filing was produced to support Morrisey’s lawsuit against A+E Networks for allegedly exploiting Williams in a documentary titles “Where is Wendy Williams?”.
The four part documentary series was released despite attempts to stop it and talks about Williams struggles with addiction and her financial issues
It was revealed, after filming was done, that the 60-year-old had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, which causes memory loss and affects behavior.
