They’ve discussed the significance of clothing as a form of “armor” for non-binary individuals, emphasizing its role in self-expression.

Similarly, Corrin, who gained fame playing Princess Diana in The Crown, also uses they/them pronouns and came out in 2021. Corrin has spoken openly about their journey with gender, including wearing a binder and exploring gender expression, highlighting the importance of representation and authenticity.

List of worst airlines in the world in 2024 has been revealed with some surprises making the best list

The rankings have been made according to three main factors

We’ve all got travel providers we prefer for our own reasons, but now a definitive list of the best and worst airlines this year has been released and some of the results might surprise you.

The ranking of the world’s airlines has been calculated by flight compensation company AirHelp, which uses three factors to calculate which companies are providing the best services.

These factors include ‘on-time performance’, which tracks how many of an airline’s flights are on schedule; customer service, assessed by passenger ratings of the food, comfort, and crew of the airlines; and claim processing, which is how efficiently airlines handle claims and how likely they are to pay out compensation.

Using this data, AirHelp ranked 109 airlines with some surprising results, including one long-time winner being pushed off the top spot.

Top 10 Best Airlines

According to AirHelp’s rankings, the number one airline in the world this year was Brussels Airlines, which is headquartered in Belgium.

The airline flies to more than 100 places in Europe, North America and Africa, but last year it didn’t even make it to the top 10, instead coming in 12th place.

Clearly the staff at the airline have been doing something right, as its first-place ranking managed to push Qatar Airways into second place after holding the top spot since 2018.

The top 10 list also included well-known airlines United Airlines and American Airlines – two airlines that managed to maintain their places in the top spot for the third year running, despite major disruptions that impacted domestic airlines in the US over the last few months.

It was Tunisair, headquartered in Tunisia, that unfortunately ranked all the way at the bottom in 109th spot, with AirHelp reporting an on-time performance rating of 4.7, a customer opinion rating of 6 and a claims processing rating of 0.2, all out of 10.

Priest who ‘died and visited hell’ says he saw demons singing Rihanna

A priest who suffered a heart attack in 2016 says he briefly visited hell and went on to share his experience

A priest who claims to have visited hell has shared what it’s like down there, admitting he ‘wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy’.

In 2016, priest Gerald Johnson suffered a heart attack and briefly died as a result.

During this time, Johnson claims to have visited hell and some unexpected music was apparently playing there.

While it’s known that heavy metal music is sometimes used as a means of ‘torture’, it wasn’t Metallica that was playing down in hell.

Priest saw demons singing Rihanna songs in hell

According to Johnson is was Rihanna’s music that was being blasted out – her track ‘Umbrella’ in particular.

Taking to TikTok, Johnson explained that after seeing hell itself he ‘wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy’, and described exactly what he witnessed down there.

He said: “My spirit left my physical body and I thought that I was going upwards, because I thought I had done so much good in this lifetime and helped so many people and basically made decisions that were godly decisions.

“As opposed to going up I went down. There was a section in hell where music was playing and it was the same music that you hear on the Earth, but as opposed to entertainers singing it, demons were singing it.”

He went on: “It was some of the same lyrics that we hear here, I knew that on Earth a lot of the lyrics and the music and the songs are inspired by demons.

“Every lyric to every song is there to torment you as to the fact you didn’t worship god through music while you were on the Earth.”

Among the songs he says he heard demons singing as a means of tormenting people was ‘Umbrella’ by Rihanna, while the denizens of hell also had ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ by Bobby McFerrin in their repertoire.

While Rihanna’s music might be hellish for some, many of her devoted fans are crying out for the songstress to release her next album as she hasn’t released one since 2016.

She’s long been teasing what’s been dubbed as ‘R9’ and got fans hopes up when the ‘We Found Love’ singer said she wanted to drop the album by the end of 2023.

Fast forward to summer 2024 though and we’re still waiting.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, Rihanna said: “Now, I’m prepared to go back in the studio. […] I’m gonna start.”

The mom-of-two added that she’s ‘starting over’ with the album, but won’t be completely abandoning the songs that she’s made has already.

Hell needs some new songs, RiRi!

A singer was praised for her savage response after being heckled while singing the National Anthem.

On Thursday night, a teenager was scheduled to deliver her rendition of the country’s anthem at Madison Square Garden during a New York Knicks versus Charlotte Hornets game but was rudely interrupted by a heckler who shouted something from the audience.

While most would try and ignore the hater, the singer decided to call him out without even using any words.

A video of the moment has recently been going viral after it was posted to both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

The video starts with the girl singing the lyrics: “Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the-” before she is cut off by a man shouting something from the stands.

It is unclear what he said at the time, but the singer decided to stop singing altogether and turn to find the perpetrator with an unimpressed look on her face before recovering and continuing where she left off.

“O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming,” she could be heard saying as the crowd around her started cheering in support of her performance.

Knicks’ power forward Karl-Anthony Towns was also caught smiling at the reaction, much to everyone’s amusement.

“KAT’s reaction,” wrote one user alongside laughing emojis, while another added: “The side-eye. She forgot where she was for a sec, she said oh yeah lemme get back to this anthem.”

A third also added: “Glad she stopped gave him his 2 seconds he so desperately needed then continued in key!”

And this user also chimed in to state: “She was like oh hell nah… imma deal wit you after the performance lol.”

Others also took the time to praise the singer for her incredible performance.

“Kept going like a champ,” one Instagram user said and this person also added: “I was there! She had an amazing voice and the crowd went insane at the end of it!!!”

Another added: “The fact that she continued on like that is a top tier move ngl.”

Cybertruck owner says car is sinking into the ground from ‘poor design’ after completing normal task

Putting the pedal to the metal on this ‘pavement princess’ didn’t quite go to plan this time

A beastly Cybertruck was put out of action after carrying out one simple task, a disgruntled owner has claimed.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk teased ideas for his dream ‘pickup truck that can carry a pickup truck’ years before unveiling his futuristic and whopping 6,800lbs Cybertruck concept in Los Angeles, California, in 2019.

Despite its hefty price tag of around $60,000 to $100,000, depending on the model, and five-year-long waiting list, industry experts estimate more than 27,000 Cybertrucks have been sold up to October this year.

Cybertruck owner reveals major flaw in his truck that turns it into a ‘deathtrap’

Among some of its compelling features, the metal brute boasts air suspension, automatic load balancing features, and… almost bulletproof windows.

However, one unhappy customer said his truck started to ‘sink’ to the ground after performing a menial task in a problem he said was caused by poor design.

Jacob Feder from Miami, Florida, said his truck’s air compressor just ‘stopped working’, weeks after he had used the vehicle to transport hay.

Sharing his dilemma on the Cybertruck Owners Only group, Jacob said he opened the truck up and discovered a ‘bunch’ of hay had fallen inside, leading him to believe the compressor intake ‘got blocked and overheated’.

Hay could be seen all up inside the inner compartments of the truck (

Facebook/Jacob Fender)

Photographs posted to the Facebook group appear to show hay tangled under the truck’s complex compartments.

Its air compressor, air reservoir bottle and intricate electronics are all seemingly affected by the block of debris which Jacob has been trying to vacuum out as much as he can.

He added: “I love my truck but this is a poor design flaw that needs to be addressed.

“There should be a seal here to prevent this from happening.

“Not only is this a potential fire hazard but the hay is also blocking the ‘channel’ Tesla uses here’s to route the water when the bed gets rained in.”

Reddit users have called the truck a 'pavement princess' (

Facebook/Jacob Fender)

Adding insult to injury, not only is the truck no longer working, but Jacob claims the Tesla has sunk, with the back end ‘now sitting lower than the front end’, and the first service appointment he can book in his local area is in January.

Reddit users have been quick to comment on the mishap, with some claiming the Cybertruck is merely a ‘concept of a truck’, or rather a ‘pavement princess, not an actual work truck’.

However, others said the mega machine was marketed ‘as a workhorse with extreme durability that can stand up to sledgehammers and metal spheres’, so hay shouldn’t really be causing it a problem.

Another joked: “The straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Tesla has been contacted for comment.

‘Take a seat’: Obama ripped for being on ‘high horse’ during first post-election speech

Conservatives on social media blasted former President Obama after his first speech since the presidential election in which he lamented polarization in politics.

During a speech Thursday at the Obama Foundation’s Democracy Forum, Obama made the case that if “one side” attempts to cement “a permanent grip on power” through “suppressing votes,” “politicizing” the military or weaponizing the judiciary and criminal justice system to target opponents, “a line has been crossed.”

“Pluralism is not about holding hands and singing ‘Kumbaya,’” Obama said. “It is not about abandoning your convictions and folding when things get tough. It is about recognizing that, in a democracy, power comes from forging alliances and building coalitions and making room in those coalitions not only for the woke, but the waking.

“Purity tests are not a recipe for long-term success.”

Obama’s speech quickly drew strong criticism from conservatives.

“It’s over for Obama,” journalist Miranda Devine posted on X. “The spell is broken. Donald Trump vanquished him, Biden, Harris, the Bushes, the Cheneys. All of them, with a spring in his step.”

“Ever since his last minute desperate smear of Trump with the ‘very fine people on both sides’ lie, Barack Obama has been slowing realizing his status as false prophet of the Democrat party is no more,” conservative radio host Buck Sexton posted on X.

“Obama turned our politics into ‘if you disagree with me, you are a bad person,’” Republican communicator Matt Whitlock posted on X. “Few people did more to pave the way for Trump. So he can take a seat.”

“By voting in a democratic election, millions of people proved they hate democracy,” author Jon Gabriel posted on X. “Yes, this Obama fellow is quite the intellect.”

“Setting aside the unbelievable hypocrisy here, this is also the guy who’s launching a project to lessen our political divisions. Being the problem — way up on his high horse, looking down disappointedly at the unwashed masses — while publicly lamenting the problem is peak Obama,” Fox News contributor Guy Benson posted on X.

Obama, in his remarks, insisted he is “convinced that if we want democracy as we understand it to survive,” people must work for a renewed dedication to pluralist principles.

“Because the alternative is what we’ve seen here in the United States and in many democracies around the globe. Not just more gridlock. Not just public cynicism. But an increasing willingness” among “politicians and their followers to violate democratic norms. To do anything they can to get their way. To use the power of the state to target critics and journalists and political rivals and to even resort to violence” to obtain and retain power.

Woman shares shocking hospital bill for mother who died after doctors did CPR despite her ‘do not resuscitate’ wish

A photo of the hefty hospital bill has gone viral after being posted to Reddit

Healthcare in the US is extremely expensive, there’s no doubt about that. It’s why so many Americans have insurance in case of a medical emergency, but it’s not always as simple as that.

One anonymous Redditor, who goes by the name of ‘Pattyxpancakes’, took to the website’s ‘healthcare’ forum to reveal a hefty health bill.

The woman claims her mother died after doctors did CPR despite her ‘do not resuscitate’ wish.

Such treatment, and everything else the woman’s mother required during her time in hospital, has led to a mammoth bill of $275,000.

Yikes.

The woman explained: “I got an early Christmas gift from the hospital where my mom passed 10 months ago.

“She aspirated while in the hospital for cancer treatment, they did CPR – no pulse and called to tell me she passed, she came back for a few hours but was unconscious of course, then passed again. (Fun fact – she had a DNR. They missed it).

She continued: “Since they sat on submitting it to her insurance, it was denied for no coverage…. because she was now deceased. Makes sense.

“So I got this nice little bill. Called the billing department to tell them to shove it. They ask if I want to pay the balance today. Then they tell me ‘we’ll’ go to collections if not. I gave them her new forwarding address. The cemetery.”

Many have flocked to the comments section of the viral Reddit post, with many left in shock at the bill.

“Talk to a billing supervisor. Date of service would be while she was alive so if Medicare they can rebook,” one person wrote.

They continued: “If Medicare advantage they likely filed past timely filing dates and there are usually clauses not allowing balance billing (outside of coinsurance or copayments) to the patient.

“Worst case it usually goes to her estate, which for a lot of senior Americans is near 0.”

A second person quipped: “I’m really sorry for your loss. This bill is an insult when it’s the absolute least thing you need. Hugs.”

A third remarked: “This is f****d up on multiple levels, but how can they go to you for your Mom’s medical expenses? You are not married and your finances are separate. Not sure how you could be responsible for this bill.”

Five floors, garage space for 20 cars, a shooting range, swimming pool, sweeping views of the Ozarks – what’s not to love?

But I know for a fact I’m not the only one, I mean who doesn’t want a glimpse at the good life, even if it means staring at a screen…that’s what Selling Sunset is really, isn’t it?

Evergreen Crystal Palace is a five-storey mansion in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri (Evergreen Investments)

They show off some of the most elite properties on the market in the illustrious Hollywood, Los Angeles, and of course there’s a bit of drama in-between the real estate we see but it is a huge hit because of us nosey bunch.

Anyway, a YouTuber, BigBanksz, has shown off one incredible estate located in Branson West, Missouri. With sweeping views of Table Rock Lake, Evergreen Crystal Palace was built back in 1991 by Robert W. Plaster – a philanthropist and millionaire who made his fortune through founding Empire Gas.

Tragically, in 2008 Plaster died and wrote that he wanted the 25,000-square-foot mansion to be sold off with the money going towards college funds for students – and 13 years later the Robert W. Plaster Foundation placed it on the market for $80 million.

But years have since passed and there’s still no buyer, so the asking price has been slashed to $49 million.

The marble and glass property sits 200 feet above the artificial lake in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri, while it also boasts of 365 acres of land surrounding it.

Inside the now abandoned glass mansion looks as if it has been ‘frozen in time’ with everything left behind – including two built-in time capsules, the first to be opened on September 3, 2042, while the second is earmarked for September 3, 2092.

Those dates will mark 51 and 101 years respectfully since Evergreen Crystal Palace was built.

You could argue there are actually three time capsules, with the property itself looking as if it were teleported from the 1990s to the present day.

While it is spotless inside (there’s no dust, cobwebs or whatnot) it has remained relatively untouched, with towels even still dotted around the property bearing the Evergreen logo.

Selling the property for Evergreen Investments, real estate agent Ken Coleman previously said: “It’s really strange to go in the house today because it looks like it’s just a frozen time capsule.”

The property has 12 guest suites, two master bedrooms and four offices over five floors, while also offering garage space for more than 20 cars and a helicopter landing pad.

And for those gun enthusiasts… a shooting range too.

Luca Parmitano almost found himself in a life-or-death situation

An astronaut who almost drowned in space was contemplating opening his helmet in a last-ditch attempt at survival.

Luca Parmitano had embarked on EVA 23, a six-hour space walk around the International Space Station, in July 2013.

But his helmet soon began filling with liquid, stopping him from being able to hear or see.

And while you’d not usually associate space with water – let alone drowning – Parmitano almost met a terrifying fate.

While working with cables outside the ISS, 250 miles (400 kilometers) above sea level, he was surprised by the ‘unexpected sensation’ of water at the back of his neck.

Astronaut almost drowns in space

The Italian astronaut, who was working on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA), struggled to communicate up to 1.5 liters of water – from a clogged pipe in the space suit – filled his helmet.

Parmitano explained: “My ability to see – already compromised by the water – completely vanishes, making my eyes useless.

“But worse than that, the water covers my nose – a really awful sensation that I make worse by my vain attempts to move the water by shaking my head.”

He continued: “By now, the upper part of the helmet is full of water and I can’t even be sure that the next time I breathe I will fill my lungs with air and not liquid.”

Parmitano was instructed to go back to the airlock, but, unable to see in front of him, he no longer knew which direction he should be heading.

He decided to follow his safety cable back to the airlock, where he had to wait for repressurization to take place before he could take off the helmet.

And as he made his way back, the water continued to rise until it ‘almost completely covered the front of [his] visor’.

Writing in his ESA blog, he described a back-up plan he’d thought up, explaining: “The only idea I can think of is to open the safety valve by my left ear: if I create controlled depressurisation, I should manage to let out some of the water, at least until it freezes through sublimation, which would stop the flow.

“But making a ‘hole’ in my spacesuit really would be a last resort.”

Fortunately, Parmitano made it to the airlock, but then had to wait while his colleagues secured it from the outside before they could come in and free him.

He considered removing his helmet, despite it being a risky move.

He reasoned: “I know that if the water does overwhelm me I can always open the helmet.

“I’ll probably lose consciousness, but in any case that would be better than drowning inside the helmet.”

Fortunately, he was freed from his space suit in time, returning back to Earth shortly after. The six-hour space walk was cut short after one hour.

NASA’s new space telescope

Looking back on the experience, Parmitano described space as a ‘harsh, inhospitable frontier’, adding: “We are explorers, not colonizers. The skills of our engineers and the technology surrounding us make things appear simple when they are not, and perhaps we forget this sometimes. Better not to forget.”
