Conjoined Twin Carmen Andrade Is Now Married
Carmen Andrade, known for her viral videos about living life as a conjoined twin with her sister Lupita, announced her special news on their YouTube channel.
The clip, titled ‘Overdue Update,’ now has over 100k views, as the two sat down to debrief their fans about what had been going on behind the scenes.
Carmen met her partner on dating app Hinge in 2020, and the two have been enjoying life together ever since.
Lupita was quick to note that she did not get married, as she identifies as as**ual and aromantic.
Announcing the news, Carmen said: “We should probably also address something else pretty big…
“I did get married.”

The 25-year-old could be seen beaming as she showed her ring to the camera.
Her partner, 28-year-old Daniel McCormack, also joined them in the video, and introduced himself as ‘the husband.’
“I got an upgrade,” he said with pride.
Explaining how the marriage happened, Carmen said: “We eloped in October with our families.”
Speaking to TODAY, she noted that the pair exchanged vows in front of their close family on Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut.
She wore an emerald green dress for the occasion, stating that white is not her thing.
“I did not wear white, I don’t regret it,” Carmen said.
The groom wore a dark suit and a matching green bowtie.
She spoke about how she knew Daniel was a genuine person, as she said: “I got a lot of messages from guys with fetishes.
“I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition.
“I have social anxiety, and I’ve ended up canceling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there.”

The twins are connected at their torso, sharing a pelvis and reproductive system.
Each has two arms but one leg between them.
Carmen explained: “Lupita and I can’t get pregnant, we have endometriosis and we’re also on a hormone blocker that prevents us from menstruating.”
She also touched on the trolling they receive, as people are keen to pry into their private lives.
“A lot of people aren’t used to people with disabilities setting boundaries or creating boundaries when it comes to their disability.
“We get a lot of questions about s**, and how we go to the bathroom and stuff like that. But you have to remember: We’re not just conjoined twins, we’re people.”
Despite having no urge to settle down herself, Lupita recognized how important Carmen’s relationship is to her.
