Shocked Anne Hathaway fans label her a ‘vampire’ after they find out her real age

As we should all know by now, ageing is a privilege.

However, while that may be true, it’s clear many of us stick to a strict skincare regime, follow the latest beauty trends and, of course, drink plenty of water to ensure we look our absolute best well into old age.

And someone who seemingly knows this all too well is Anne Hathaway, who fans have dubbed a ‘vampire’ after finding out her real age.

Hathaway has a seriously impressive filmography of work behind her, starring in a number of box-office smashes throughout her decade-spanning career.

FromThe Princess Diaries, toThe Devil Wears Prada, without fogetting Les MisérablesOne Day, or The Idea of You – just to name a handful -, it’s fair to say the actress is a well-established artist.

And, while many of us may know the Hollywood A-lister’s extensive portfolio of work like the back of our hand, it seems many people didn’t realise how many years she’s been around.

Hathaway is, in fact, 42 years old – something which has clearly shocked her devoted fanbase.

A compilation of clips of Hathaway has resurfaced on TikTok showing her at different stages of her career, and just how little her appearance has changed.

After discovering her age, fans rushed to the comments with one saying that Hathaway ‘doesn’t age at all,’ while another added: “She looks so good.”

Someone else even joked that there must be a reason that Hathaway hasn’t aged, writing: “She’s a vampire.”

Well, it’s either that or a killer skincare routine.

And that’s not the only odd speculation surrounding Hathaway, who tied the knot with fellow actor, Adam Shulman, 43, back in 2012, and has been happily married ever since.

Now, the mum-of-two is fairly private about her personal life but, in an interview a few years ago with Drew Barrymore, she opened up a little more about her hubby.

Well, namely a particularly bizarre theory surrounding him.

The Charlie’s Angels icon was telling Anne how she’d recently seen & Juliet, a play about what would have happened to Juliet had she not taken her own life alongside Romeo.

And, according to Barrymore, the play takes a lot of its influence from William Shakespeare’s wife, who was coincidentally also named Anne Hathaway.

“Then I did a little digging,” Drew went on. “There’s a conspiracy theory about your husband […] that he might be William Shakespeare reincarnated.”

The talk show host then showed two side-by-side images of the Romeo and Juliet playwright and Adam and, well, you can kind of see a resemblance.

“It’s kinda’ nuts, right?” Anne responded before adding: “It would be great if it were true, but even if it’s not, it’s still kinda’ great.”
