The singer, 26, is currently travelling across Europe as part of her Short n’ Sweet tour and this week, Carpenter was wowing fans in the French capital of Paris.

However, some people were taken aback by her most recent ‘Juno position’.

ICYMI, it’s not the first time that Carpenter has caused a bit of a stir while performing her song, ‘Juno’.

It’s become a bit of a tradition that prior to the song’s second chorus, she sings: “Wanna try out some freaky positions? Have you ever tried this one?”

At this point of the performance, she usually simulates a different sex position.

For example, while performing at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last November, Carpenter was criticised for simulating oral sex with her microphone during her performance of ‘Juno’.

One person wrote on X: “We need better role models for children.”

While another said: “Can she stop sexualizing herself for 1 minute? LITERAL children are watching this, not just at the concert but also as it keeps appearing on my niece’s youtube.”

However, others said it was Carpenter’s show and she could do whatever she wants.

This week, the singer’s latest ‘Juno position’ has left tongues wagging, after Carpenter mimicked an ‘Eiffel Tower sex position’.

The move saw the singer bending over between two of her dancers while they lifted their hands above their heads to imitate the top of the Eiffel Tower.

People were divided over the performance, with one person writing: “She keeps getting bolder every show. THE WOMAN SHE IS INDEED.”

While another added: “Why does every tour stop get MORE unhinged?”

And a third said: “I’m sorry but she’s grown! she makes grown music if you actually listen. Don’t let your kids listen or attend a concert if you’re gonna be mad she’s doing grown things to her grown music.”

However, others were less impressed, with some complaining it wasn’t appropriate.

“Promoting sex positions to a primarily underage age audience? I stan her but this isn’t ok,” one wrote online.

And another added: “I’m sorry but there are little kids in the audience and this is taking it way too far.”

While a third wrote: “This has to be a joke.”

The new British limited series dropped on the streaming platform last week and has shook viewers to their very core.

Stephen Graham (best known for Peaky Blinders, Venom, and Snatch) stars as Eddie, whose teenage son Jamie is charged with murder.

The four-part series is being raved about by all who have seen it and has an almost-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Aside form the captivating storyline, one thing that’s really got people talking is the fact that Adolescence‘s episodes were all filmed in one-shot — an extremely difficult thing to achieve.

In fact, it’s so hard that the likes of Top Gear and Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson dubbed it ‘impossible’.

He penned on Twitter after watching the hit Netflix programme: “Adolescence. The camera at the end of show 2. How on Earth did they do that? It’s impossible.”

And now all has been revealed.

The part in particular that’s left people like Clarkson mind-blown is when Ryan, one of Jamie’s friends, bolts out of a classroom window when approached by DI Luke Bascombe (portrayed by Toy Boy favorite, Ashley Walters).

In the scene, Ryan jumps out of the ground floor window and runs through the school grounds all while being chased by Bascombe.

Then, after Ryan’s caught, Bascombe drives off with his son who is a student at the same school, before the shot moves over to the murder site where Eddie Miller (Graham) is putting flowers down.

Replying to Clarkson’s tweet, Netflix UK & Ireland shared an interview it conducted with Jack Thorne, the writer and creator of the show, and Matthew Lewis, the director of photography on Adolescence.

Thorne said: “The collaboration on this show, a lot of was technical but the surprising thing was using technical to free us.”

“I’d written in this chase sequence,” the creator continued, “and this chase sequence took Bascombe and this boy beside the murder site, and the camera was going to travel back on its own back to the school.”

Cutting to Lewis, he further divulged: “That moment would have almost felt like a video game walking down the street. I think it would just take the audience away from what the piece is.”

Thorne then went on to explain how they worked out a way to ‘make the camera fly’.

The interview proceeds to show Lewis holding the camera while filming before it’s effortlessly attached to a drone so that it could follow the car and then fly over to the murder site.

Netflix offered fans of Sandler’s beloved 1996 comedy a greater insight to its sequel with a new teaser trailer today, which shows Happy hesitating to get back on the golf course after going ‘years’ without swinging a club.

The movie picks up decades after the events of the original Happy Gilmore, in which Sandler’s character took on a strenuous season of golf to try and raise money to pay the IRS for his grandmother’s missing tax payments.

The underestimated golfer made allies and enemies along the way, and successfully managed to save his grandma’s house.

After winning the PGA Tour Championship, Happy took a step back – but now he’s returned, and neither the course or the golf simulator seem prepared for him.

Sandler is set to return for the movie alongside the likes of Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller and Christopher McDonald, while some new faces include Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Bad Bunny), Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler, and Blake Clark.

The new teaser comes after Sandler previously excited fans about the prospect of Happy’s return with a post on Instagram, where he showed a picture of his character’s iconic jersey.

Alongside the image, he wrote: “It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun.”

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement over the sequel, with one writing: “There has never been a sequel with as much riding on it as Happy Gilmore 2. Please Adam for the love of god do not mess this up! I’ve watched the original more times than any other movie in my life. I remember one summer I watched it like 3 times a day. I can still quote every line from start to finish.”

After almost 30 years, thankfully there’s now not too long to wait before the movie arrives, as Netflix has confirmed a release date for the comedy on July 25.

Happy Gilmore 2 has been written by original Happy Gilmore co-writer Tim Herlihy, while the original director Dennis Dugan will serve as executive producer. The sequel is being directed by Kyle Newacheck, who previously worked with Sandler on Murder Mystery.

After almost 140 years overlooking New York City, centre-left politician Raphael Glucksmann has called for Lady Liberty to be shipped back to Europe, claiming the US doesn’t appreciate the values that she stands for.

The statue was first proposed all the way back in 1865, when a French political intellectual and anti-slavery activist named Edouard de Laboulaye suggested it be created to mark the centennial of independence in the United States, as well as the country’s friendship with France.

The statue was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, before being delivered to the US on June 17, 1885. It was finally erected on Bedloe’s Island in 1886, where it has remained ever since.

But could Glucksmann’s request see Lady Liberty returned to her sister statue in Paris?

Well, biting back at Glucksmann, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said yesterday (March 17) that Trump would ‘absolutely not’ be giving Lady Liberty back to the French.

Adding: “And my advice to that unnamed low-level French politician would be to remind them that it’s only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now.

“So they should be very grateful to our great country.”

She was referring to the US’ involvement in World War II, having joined the Allies in the war against Adolf Hitler’s fascist Nazi movement in 1941 – two years on into the fighting.

France surrendered to Nazi Germany the year before.

So what did Glucksmann actually say?

While speaking at a convention of his Place Publique centre-left movement, he said on Sunday (March 16): “Give us back the Statue of Liberty.

“We’re going to say to the Americans who have chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for demanding scientific freedom: ‘Give us back the Statue of Liberty’.

“‘We gave it to you as a gift, but apparently you despise it. So it will be just fine here at home’.”

It comes as President Donald Trump and Vice-President JD Vance had a fiery meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the end of last month, as the Trump administration continues to call for an end to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The 78-year-old Republican has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin as he attempts to de-escalate tensions in Eastern Europe, which he believes have led to World War III if he hadn’t have gotten involved.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese slammed Montana-based content creator Sam Jones for uploading the video onto the internet, which has since been deleted.

In the recording, Jones – who describes herself as an ‘outdoor enthusiast and hunter’ – can be seen grinning as she held the visibly agitated animal up to the camera, before saying: “I caught a baby wombat!”

The influencer was seemingly aware that this wasn’t going to plan as the wombat could be heard making hissing noises. People who know their animals remarked that this was a clear sign it was distressed.

“I want to begin by taking responsibility for my actions. What I did was an incredible mistake, and there hasn’t been a moment I haven’t regretted it,” she began her two-minute-22-second dialogue.

“However, there’s something much bigger at play here, and it would be a disservice to ignore it. If this situation has proven anything, it’s proven that Australians care deeply about their wildlife, and that is something I intensely admire every year.

“However, the Australian government issues permits for the killing of thousands and thousands of wombats across Australia, along with millions of kangaroos.”

Wombats are a protected species in five of the nation’s six states, but in Victoria – the country’s most southern state, home to Melbourne – they are regarded as an agricultural pest and are exterminated under the Australian government’s sanctioned authority to control wildlife (ATCW) permits.

Under the code of practice, residents are instructed to ‘destroy the brain’ of a wombat joey as the preferred way of removing them from a landowner’s property.

She continued: “Australia, the same government that is calling for my head, is the one that spends millions of your tax dollars to mass slaughter native Australian animals, as well as the Snowy River and Kosciuszko brumbies, wild pigs and numerous deer species, many of whose corpses are left to rot.

“Whether this is necessary horrifying or somewhere in between, is for you to decide. However, the hypocrisy is staggering. The Australian Government and outrage field media have chosen to make an example of me rather than address the mass killing, poisoning and trapping of wildlife that happens daily under their watch.

“Even more disturbing, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese publicly expressed his own desire for harm to come to me when the highest office in the country signals that this level of hatred is acceptable, it sets a concerning precedent.”

Yes, Aussie PM Albanese suggested that Jones tried snatching a baby crocodile from its mom.

Australian PM Anthony Albanese even called the stunt an ‘outrage’, stating: “To take a baby wombat from its mother, and clearly causing distress from the mother, is just an outrage.

“And, you know, I suggest to this so-called influencer, maybe she might try some other Australian animals.”

He added: “Take a baby crocodile from its mother and see how you go there.

“Take another animal that can actually fight back rather than stealing a baby wombat from its mother.”

While the holiday truly begins as soon as you step into the airport, you still have the flight to get through – and nervous flyer or not, they can sometimes feel like a bit of an ordeal.

Especially if you’re flying long-haul, you want to remain as comfortable as possible in hopes of time passing super quickly so you can land and get some sun.

While it’s important to keep somewhat active on a long-haul flight to prevent blood clots, you’ll likely be wanting to get some shut-eye.

But this can prove difficult, especially if you’re cramped for leg space in economy.

However a sleep expert has warned of the dangers of drinking booze as you fly.

While you might think it helps you nod off, chugging a beer or sipping a few glasses of bubbly actually does more harm to your health than good – as Martin Seeley, the CEO and sleep expert at MattressNextDay, explains.

“Alcohol might make you feel sleepy initially, but it actually disrupts your sleep quality,” he begins.

“Alcohol can interfere with your sleep cycles, leading to lighter, less restorative sleep.”

He adds: “Stick to water instead – it’ll keep you hydrated and help prevent that annoying scratchy throat many of us get from the dry airplane air.

“It’s better to stay hydrated and avoid the hangover that comes with drinking at high altitudes.

“Plus, water is essential for maintaining healthy blood circulation during long flights.”

Martin has shared more clever tips to ensure you get a decent sleep on your next flight…

Go for a 30-minute walk

While you should always head to the airport early to account for delays, Martin advises: “Before you board, spend 30 minutes walking around the airport whether it’s duty-free, the lounge, or just a quick lap around the terminal.”

He adds: “Studies show that just half an hour of moderate exercise can help you sleep better, and further studies have proven that women who take more steps throughout the day experience deeper sleep.

“So that simple 30 minute stroll will help your body prepare for rest.”

Book the seats above the engine for the best quality sleep

Believe it or not, where you sit matters.

Martin says: “Booking a seat above the engine can actually lead to better quality sleep.

“The gentle, consistent hum can act as a sort of white noise, helping to lull you into a peaceful slumber.

“This concept is similar to how some people use white noise machines at home to improve sleep quality.”

Plus, seats above the engine often experience less turbulence, which can be a bonus for those who get anxious during flights.

Prepare a sleep kit beforehand

“A well-prepared sleep kit can make all the difference,” Martin explains. “Flight socks are a key component of this kit, with previous studies confirming that flight socks can halve the number of times you’re woken up on a plane.

“By wearing flight socks during the day, you can prevent fluid building up in your legs, which travels up the body when lying down, causing snoring.”

He continues: “In addition to flight socks, include an eye mask to block out harsh cabin lights, and a good memory foam travel pillow for proper neck and head support, so that you don’t wake up with a stiff neck.”

Change the time on your phone as you sit on the plane

“As soon as you board, set your watch to your destination’s time,” Martin advises. “This simple act can help your body’s circadian rhythm – your internal sleep-wake cycle – start adjusting to the new time zone.

“It’s a great way to minimise jet lag and help you sleep at the right times during your journey.”

Martin emphasises: “Our bodies are incredibly adaptable, but they need a bit of help sometimes.

“By changing your clock early, you’re giving your body a head start on adjusting to the new time zone.

“This can make a big difference in how well you sleep and how quickly you recover from jet lag.”

Avoid using wireless earphones

While wireless earphones are smaller and, therefore, easier to pack, they could prevent you from getting a good sleep while flying.

Martin advises noise-cancelling, wired headphones instead.

He explains: “They’re less likely to fall out while you’re sleeping, and many offer excellent noise-cancelling features to block out that cabin chatter.

“Plus, with wired headphones, you don’t have to worry about them running out of battery mid-flight.”

Wear loose clothing to fly

“Loose-fitting clothes are a must when flying,” Martin shares. “They allow for better blood circulation and give you the freedom to find a comfy position in those cramped airplane seats.”

He adds: “Wearing comfortable clothing is essential for reducing discomfort and improving sleep quality.

“Tight clothes can restrict movement and cause pressure points, which can wake you up during the flight.

“By dressing comfortably, you’re giving your body the best chance to relax and sleep well.”

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams set off on what they thought was going to be an eight-day mission onboard the International Space Station (ISS), but that taster of space – almost 300 days ago – turned into life lived orbiting Earth.

It was due to the Boeing Starliner they made their commute on experiencing a series of problems – including five helium leaks, five maneuvering thrusters dying, and a propellant valve failing to close completely.

They were launched into space on June 5, 2024, meaning they’ve not felt earth under their feet for 285 days – 286 days when they finally make it back.

Now, an update from the space agency read: “At 1:05 a.m. EDT Tuesday, NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov undocked from the space-facing port of International Space Station’s Harmony module aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.”

An early message detailed how they will crash back down to Earth off the coast of Florida.

“The spacecraft will undock from the orbiting laboratory about 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday, heading for a targeted splashdown at 5:57 p.m. off the coast of Florida,” NASA wrote.

The ISS orbits Earth 16 times over the course of 24 hours. They departed Earth on June 5 and boarded their return ship shortly after 11pm on March 17 – 285 days in total. Meaning, they’ve circled our planet roughly 4,560 times.

Meanwhile, they would encounter 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets over the course of 24 hours – so they again, they would have experienced around 4,560 sunrises and the same number of sunsets.

Father-of-two Wilmore will finally reunite with his children, while Williams will want to see her own family.

The pair managed to keep busy while floating around the ISS, having both been tasked with jobs during their time up there, while space-walks have also been common – but they’ll certainly be happy to return to Earth when they emerge from the SpaceX capsule.

Daryn Wilmore, the astronaut’s 16-year-old daughter, has blamed ‘negligence’ and ‘a lot of politics’ for the reason as to why her dad is still up in space.

Originally speaking in a post last month, Daryn said: “He’s missed out on a lot. It’s less the fact that he’s up there sometimes; it’s more the fact of why.

“There’s a lot of politics, there’s a lot of things that I’m not at liberty say in that I don’t know fully about. But there’s been issues, there’s been negligence. It’s just been issue after issue after issue.”

While Daryn hasn’t seen her father for the best part of nine months, she speaks to her astronaut dad daily and is looking forward to seeing him in person, if all goes to plan.

It’s called Vivaldi III, and as the name suggests, it is the third edition of similar experiments that aim to recreate some of the effects of how spaceflight affects the human body. The study is being hosted at the Medes Space Clinic at Toulouse University Hospital in France.

But what exactly is involved in this Vivaldi III experiment?

Well, not much, to be honest.

“During Vivaldi III, 10 volunteers lie down in containers similar to bathtubs covered with a waterproof fabric. This keeps them dry and evenly suspended in water,” ESA explained.

The agency continued: “Submerged to above the torso and keeping arms and head above water, participants experience a sensation of floating without physical support – something close to what astronauts feel while on the International Space Station.”

But while this pretty much sounds like a walk in the park, there is one downside to it that you should be aware of – and you might have thought of it already.

If you’re lying down for 10 days, how exactly do you go to the bathroom?

Well, the ESA offered some insight into that particular task, saying: “For bathroom breaks, participants are temporarily transferred onto a trolley, maintaining their laid-back position at all times.”

I guess there’s a first time for everything?

For the experiment, participants will be hospitalized for a total of 21 days. The good thing is that throughout these days, while you may be alone, you are allowed to have some contact with the outside world via your phone.

“You can contact [your loved ones] as much as you like (as long as it fits into your schedule),” Medes explained in its FAQs.

“You can make phone or video calls. However, you will not be able to receive visitors.”

“Even though the actual bed rest or dry immersion only lasts 10 days, your presence is required at the MEDES Clinic for 21 days (+2 days of follow-up),” Medes added.

“The pre- and post-bed rest/immersion periods are part of the study in the same way as the bed rest or immersion period.

‘”You will be required to remain in the space clinic throughout this hospitalization, with the exception of certain tests performed at the Toulouse University Hospital in specialized departments.”

So how much are volunteers compensated for this job? Well, participants are rewarded a whopping $5,300 for their involvement in the experiment.

Not bad, right? If you’re willing to go to the bathroom lying down, that is.
